Hi everyone I need help regarding my honey jar!
I started my honey jar on Sunday and started burning my candle on it around 4 am, and when I woke up my target actually changed his Instagram profile picture to the same photo I used of him in my honey jar! I took it as a strong sign and felt very good about my honey jar and that the link made was powerful. I talked to a AIRR reader the same day and she told me she takes it as a good sign as well and she told me from her reading my honey jar is going to aid my situation and make the bad situation go away. I’m trying to reconcile with my love interest he’s currently not talking to me - I’m at fault for our separation I caused drama and also said hurtful words. Anyways I just finished burning a candle on my honey jar and it actually melted the lid forming a opening. At first I took it as a bad sign but now I actually realized the lis plastic... I thought the lid was glass like the bottom half of the container when I bought the container but I actually see now that it’s plastic not glass. 🥴 what should I do? Is it ok if I pour the inside of My honey jar into a new container? I don’t really want to make a new one completely because I feel this one has a strong connection...please help!

I ended up pouring my honey jar into a better jar that is a mason jar and added more honey and once again said “as this honey is sweet to me so will _____ be sweet to me.” And sealed it up and now I’m gonna affirm my intentions to the jar and burn another candle on it.

SugarLoveHoney,

It is fine to transfer the honey. I'm glad you found a jar with a better lid!

GoddessCherish,

A picture is a personal concern so please use it in your work. There are a couple ways to approach this. Deer's tongue could be added for communication. It's not poisonous so you can add it to the petition that will go in the honey. I would suggest Look Me Over for the candle. This get them to notice you and can be blended with Attraction oil to help keep them actively in your life. I would light and work the jar on Wed and Sun. Wednesday for the power of Mercury (communication) and Sundays for the power of the Sun (blessings.)

I would write your petition on the back of the photo. "May you think of me as family and keep me in your hearts" or something like that. Fold it into a packet with the Deer's Tongue herb and place it in the honey.

GoddessCherish,

You can make the jar at anytime. I would keep it simple with just the Deer's Tongue. You are already working with the sweetener (honey) and that is the primary ingredient. Anything else is just extra and doesn't necessarily make the spell stronger. This site lists some herbs and corresponding conditions: https://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html

You could also add your concern like a hair to the packet. Stick it to the petition side of the picture with a drop of honey.

Thank you for your kind words.

Hello GoddessCherish,

Honey can harden or crystallize easily, depending on a number of factors including weather and the type of honey used.

Typically you can soften the honey by gently heating it in a pan of hot water. Just rest the jar in there until the honey starts to soften.

Otherwise the current state of your honey won't impact the outcome of your spell. If you assembled your jar appropriately, you should be fine.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I just have a general question. I am doing 2 honey jars one for my daughter soccer team to to work well together and the other is for my daughter to be closer to one of her soccer friends. Which is stronger starting the jar on a full moon or waxing moon? She is going back to school (college) in 2 weeks(jan 29th) and I didn't know if it would be better to start now to get the process going to wait until the full moon on the 28th. Please advise.
Thank you

Tribaby789,

Since you are working to bring them together and gain friendship, I would work with the waxing moon. I wouldn't wait for the full moon to start.

Good Luck!

Tribaby789,

She can touch or move the jars. It won't harm the spell. It would be wonderful to use the honey in any meals you make for her. It doesn't have to be a lot, just a touch in some cookies or hot chocolate. This way the magic is with her.

Good luck!

Thank you! I put deer tongue, balm of Gilead, a fig and cloves in the jars and oils on the petitions so not sure if that would be a good idea to have her eat the honey?

She is leaving early Friday so if it is ok to use, I will make her cookies or brownies to bring up and hopefully share with the girls. Hopefully she doesn't eat them all herself lol.

Her brother did buy her an evil eye bracelet I put fiery wall of protection on and she has a tourmaline ring on a necklace ( she only wears it if it matches her clothes lol) and in her car- from her brother so hopefully that helps

Hello Tribaby789,

Since you have oils in your honey jar, I would not use that for cooking or baking. The oils are not intended to be food safe, so err on the side of caution and don't feed anyone from that honey.

You did well in anointing her evil eye bracelet. Hopefully she will get a lot of use out of it.

Good luck to you both and I hope she has a good year with her soccer friends!

Hello, I’m wondering what to do with a honey jar once the spell is done with. Example, I used a honey jar for a manager at a car dealership because we needed help with our car. I wanted to sweeten him up to help us. It worked and now I’m not sure what to do with the honey jar. How do I dispose of the honey? What do I do with the intention paper inside? Thank you so much in advance😊

Hello ADOM0203,

Pour the honey down the drain and rinse/recycle your jar. I always thank Spirit for aiding me in my spell as I do this.

If you used any hard curios, you can save them and the soft contents like photos etc. can go in the rubbish.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello! I have a few questions. I put my honey jar away about a month ago, I put it in a bag and away in my closet because I ran out of candles and because I didn't want the person to see it. Is it still good for me to use or do I need to make a new one? Also, if it's still good to use can I open it and add herbs and personal concerns to it? And can the intention of the jar be changed like from love me to return to me or from reconciliation to love me? Thanks in advance!

Hello Sunandstars,

It should still be good to use. You can add new items to it (unlike with a vinegar jar, which should not be re-opened).

If you are changing the goal of the jar, I would replace the petition with a new one. This is fine if your target remains the same. If you have a new target in mind, start a new jar.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I just have a general question about honey jars. I am doing 3 for my daughter 1. For her and a soccer teammate she wants to be closer to. 2. For her and another soccer girl she wants to be close with and 3. For her and her soccer team to be a family/ work together on/off the field. I just started them a few weeks ago and have only burned candles on them a few times.
I am now doing them M, T,Th while at work(for privacy)
So my question is since I am using psalm 67 and 23 for all 3 can I burn them all on the same altar at the same time, saying the prayers over all 3 and then focusing on each separate one for a set amount of time or do I need to burn them separately one after the other?

Thank you in advance

Hello Tribaby789,

You can work candles on them all at the same time, since the goals are similar. It is an efficient way to work.

Good luck!

I don't have access to a place with running water. Under quarantine at home, how would you suggest "canceling" a honey jar?

Hello smyleroi,

If by "cancel" you mean to end the spell, just empty the honey down your drain and save any curios you may have included. You can dispose of any herbs or petitions you included, and recycle the jar.

Good luck.

Hello!
If the jar is already made, can I add a pinch of ginger and cinnamon to it? I know it's supposed to go inside the petition paper, but the paper unfolded inside the jar and everything came out. Can I just add it or do I take the paper out and make a new petition packet?
Thank you!

Sunandstars,

I don't presume to speak for any of the wise and talented Lucky Mojo folks, but I believe that you can add your ingredients outside the petition, just as you can add name papers outside.

smyleroi just gave you good advice (and thank you, smyleroi, for chiming in here!). You can just add them to the contents of your jar, no need to undo your petition packet.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I was about to make a honey jar and a strange force stopped me.

I'm studying a foreign language and the teacher is absolutely nasty, a very bad person, I LOVE studying languages and this teacher has made me I don't want to continue. My classmates told me the other day that they don't want to continue in this school and they want to leave next course. All because of this teacher. It's very bad, I LOVE the school, I don't want to switch to another school just because this teacher is horrible for all of us! And the worst thing is that next year maybe this teacher will be again teaching because she is some kind of an authority in the school. I can tell you than the dark energy this woman spreads is suffocating, even when I had to read the things she writes, I feel sinister goosebumps. My classmates are even scared.

My intention was to make a honey jar to make the teacher be sweetened towards me knowing she's going to be teaching next year and I don't want to leave to other school, but this strange energy in the atmosphere made me not to continue with the honey jar. I had to keep the jar and the ingredients back to their place. I could not make the spell.

I never had a similar experience when I was about to make a honey jar (all of them have been succesful). The moment I am about to start seems to stop, not continue, not going or "don't do this".

Is this a sign that this problem needs another spell?. I was thinking about that maybe the teacher needs another spell and is not about honey at all. I was thinking about that maybe she needs something "strong" after all she has done to us, our scholar future is in danger because of this woman. That's why (I imagine), the honey doesn't want to be part of this, that's the level of negativity that she has.
A Hot Foot spell? A mirror spell maybe?. I had never had a similar experience when making a honey jar.

Do you think this spell requiers another spell to cast on this teacher?.

Normally I make honey jars on people that need an extra boost being sweet towards me, but they're good people in general, they have a kind nature, but in this case, this teacher is totally the opposite.

Hello Alice Kyteler,

That is a strange experience. Since you're not sure what's happening, and whether another spell would be warranted, I suggest you get a reading on this situation to better understand what's going on. Your reader can then prescribe specific rootwork based on what they see in the cards.

Hi, first time poster here (but not first time LM customer)!
I was lucky to come across the above spell on an LM page and it is exactly what I need right now. My spouse and I are in a trial separation and I'm living at our home of 15+ years but he has been living in an apartment for several months. I want to do a sugar jar to sweeten him to come back home (I am already also doing reconciliation work and have a honey jar for him specifically that I've been working for months). I'm asking for advice on what to do for a petition in this case...I have a photo of the two of us in front of our house, as well as the other ingredients, but I'm unsure what a good petition would be for this small sugar jar. Do I put his name, turn 90 degrees clockwise and put mine over his or do I just list our names and dob's normally since we both own the house (and do I include our pets' names on there too?) Do I need to do the (dreaded, because I suck at this!) circular writing where I don't lift the pen off the paper and keep it simple like 'John, come home' or 'home sweet home', or can I just write our names and a more detailed petition under our names? I'm really unsure in this particular case how to go about the petition...
Thanks in advance for any advice on this!

Hello Ladybug48,

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum! We're glad you found us.

I have moved your post to the general topic on honey jars. Please do not start your own topics as it is against forum rules, and you will see we have nearly every category already covered.

You are now in the topic on honey and sweetening jars. You were asking about sweetening your spouse to want to return to the home you shared. You can put the photo of the two of you in front of your house and petition that he returns home where he belongs (or words to that effect). Help him yearn for the good times the two of you shared there (I would speak about them when working a candle on your jar). You can also consider Peaceful Home products as part of this effort, such as dressing your candle in the oil, to remind him of the peaceful haven your home has been to you both.

Peaceful Home products: https://www.luckymojo.com/peacefulhome.html

You don't need to stress about circular writing. You can cross his name with yours, or both your names with the address of your home to bring you all back together. You could keep it simple and just call for him to come home. Bottom line, your petition is your desired goal so word it accordingly. You do not need to include your pets' names.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

The LM forums are AMAZING and always come up in my google searches for witchy spell stuff!

Thank you, Miss Athena, for the good advice. I have a Peaceful Home glass vigil candle that I'm currently only burning when he is here on our date nights (out of sight where he never goes), and I ordered some more products last night including another Peaceful Home glass vigil candle, the Peaceful Home sachet powders and the House Blessing oil...among other things, a large order! I will definitely carve, oil and powder the candles I burn on top of the jar using those. I was just unsure about the best petition method for this specific sweet jar.

While I'm here, a few more questions if anyone cares to answer. The page with the spell (I can't find it now to link to, sorry) didn't mention personal concerns but I do have his head and pubic hair and was thinking I'd put some of that as well as a few of my hairs in the jar as well (or should I only put his in and not mine?) And last question, we have two cats that are part of our family/household; should I list their names too? Or is that just overly complicating it?

Hello Ladybug48,

You can include both of your hair for a personal concern.

As I mentioned above, you don't need to include your pets' names, but do so if you wish. It shouldn't affect your outcome.

Good luck!

Hello,

I messaged a few days ago about personal concerns and a honey jar. I didn’t wanna start a new thread in the honey jar forum so I thought I would continue it here.

I’m going to start a honey jar and I just have a few questions.

1. When doing my petition paper should I use parchment paper or use the back of the photos for my petition?

2. Should I have 2 separate photos, 1 of me and 1 of her or should have use 1 photo of the 2 of us lovingly together?

3. I have heard that it’s best to use a red pen when writing petitions for love work, however I have just found a pen that she had given me previously when we were together which is a pen that has her name printed on it and business details. However the ink is blue or black. Which pen would be better used to write the petition? Red or personalised pen?

Thanks in Advance

Hello Neeks7,

I have moved your post to the topic on general honey jar questions, as this is most appropriate for your query. You would not have needed to start a new topic here, so please search the forum to find the right place to post.

As for your questions, you will find they have been asked and answered a multitude of times in this topic area. Do yourself the tremendous favor of reading the posts here starting from the first page and in no time will you find all of your answers and more advice on working your honey jar.

However, to give you direct answers...

1. Either one

2. One photo of the two of you together

3. The personalized pen

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello,

I just started my honey jar today however I have been on the forum and seen a few people have said to include the birthdates of both people on the petition paper? In miss Cats honey jar spell on the website she doesn’t mention putting birthdates so I didn’t include them as I was trying to follow her instructions to a T.

1.Can someone please advise what I should do, if I should start a new honey jar, remove the petition paper and re-add all the same herbs and personal concerns or if I should just leave it as it is?

2. Also if possible can I add some ginger and lavender to sit in the honey outside the petition packet?

3. When making the packet using a photo and writing the petition on the back of the photo do I wrap the photo side of the paper around the herbs or the petition side?

4. When burning my candle on top the honey jar do I enscribe both of our names and Birthdates or just my targets name and birthdate?

Please help!

Thanks

Neeks7

People add more information to a name paper or petition paper to help make the connection stronger, knowing a persons name, their birthdate, location is more exact.

1. I would not touch the jar you made, it has the real items in it, it has a personal concern, you made it with this other person in mind as you made it. Please do not second guess your work.

2. Yes you can add items to the honey jar, only issue would be that, some workers use the honey to cook with to sweeten the person (serve them some nice cookies) if you add items you cant do that. But if that is not part of the magical plan then it does not matter. You can also dress the candle with herbs, it is called double dressing a candle. Dress it in oil then roll it in Lucky Mojo herbs that you powdered up, or even add sachet powder such as reconciliation.

3. I would do photo side I want the herbs touching the photo to effect them.

4. I would do both: Jane Doe Love 3-15-88 Love Janet Doe 9-19-89. But I also know people who write Jane doe 3-15-88 Love me. The choice is yours.

Hello Neeks7,

Have you read through the many pages of this topic? The questions you've been asking have been answered throughout the years in this thread, so please read through it starting from the beginning. There's a lot to get through but it would greatly benefit your education on the subject.

Also, you have lots of detailed questions and may be overthinking the minutiae. I suggest you consider scheduling a one-on-one magical coaching with a professional rootworker, where you can spend some time with one of the members of AIRR who can assist you in putting your honey jar together according to your specific needs and questions. You can find them here:

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Thank you Miss Athena. I will look through this website and see if I need any of their services. I have started to see some signs from the work that I have done so thank you for your help and patience so far. I have been seeing my targets name and things that remind me of her pop up everywhere. So looking forward to things getting stronger with time.

I do have another weird situation happening at this time that I could do with an answer for.

If you do work on someone else ie honey jar and Vigil candles etc for one person is it possible for you to start to get alot of attention from someone else? I have a situation at the moment where all the attention I want my target to be giving me I’m getting from someone else. It’s like my rootwork is working on the wrong person. Any knowledge on this would be good.

Thanks

Neeks7 --

See the thread on spells backfiring or doing what you don't want. You can open up the discussion there by posting your question there, since it is not specific only to honey spells

Maybe reading my long "Hoodoo in Theory and practice" web page on Honey and Sugar jars will help ease your mind about the topic.

Hello,
i have a honey jar in which I put LM crown of success and LM attraction oil with some herbs from you. I burned LM yellow candles with LM oils on it. I do not intend to eat the honey from the jar.
My question is can I put the jar in a crock pot at low temperature for several hours per day to work the jar? Even is at the low the content inside will be very hot maybe boiled. I have an old crock pot and I can not program the temperature. It's or low or high.
so If the content will boil, is this good? This is my main concern. If the jar will boil is it good for the spell?
Thank you

cecila ,

I would not want to cause the honey to boil, this does naturally kill the good ingredients and properties of the honey, but also a sealed jar that is boiling runs the risk of exploding, which is a terrible sign for a honey jar created to bring success. A candle on top is often good enough to heat it up, you can also get a warming plate, those used for a cup of coffee and place it on that a little bit a day to warm it, but honestly I do not think it is necessary. A honey jar is a spell in itself, the candle is a spell, they are combined to make a double working.

JayDee thank you very much for your answer.
So i think i already boiled the honey .That means I killed my spell? should I started again?
From now one I'll not put my jar in the crock pot. But what to do with the one I already boiled?
Thank you,thank you,thank you

cecila,

I think the jar is fine, just in the future if you want to heat it up, the best method is to take warm water and stick the jar in that, it will heat it up. If you are worried it is ruined, you can do divination over it, otherwise empty the content in running water or pour it at the base of a tree and start over. Other ways people work the jars are burning candles, holding them and rocking them slightly as they pray, place it on top of your resume and photo as you pray for success in the given field you are applying. Many people think the jar "stops working" if it crystalizes this is not true, but if it bothers you ( as some people don't like that, the best method is to hear it in warm water till they dissolve.

Hello,

I started my honey jar last month and have been working it with candles. My ex partner has not had contact with me and blocked me since February how we yesterday was the anniversary of my grandmothers death and my ex partner sent me a text message to say she is praying for me and for me to be strong and then she blocked me again. Was very weird that she unblocked me to say that just to re block me. But I don’t know if it’s a sign that my honey jar is working or not. I’m wondering if it would be wise for me to send her an email (as that’s the only form of communication I have to her) or if I should just continue to be patient and wait for her to contact me? Any help would be appreciated.

Neeks7,

I am sorry to hear about the loss and the anniversary, these dates can be hard. The fact that she messaged you saying she is praying and for you to be strong, to me is a clear sign of the work. It is not at the stage of manifestation, but clearly showing signs it is working on her. I would send a simple but nice response that says something along the lines of, " thank you for your kind message regarding my grandmother, it was a hard day and I will always remember and lover her!" then leave it at that and do not expect or obsess over a response. She reached out to you, you reach back, keep it kind and polite but not over the top. I strongly suggest you light a candle on the jar and keep one going for several hours, this way it is burning on the jar when she likely reads it.

Hi! Wondering if I might be able to receive a little guidance. I just made a Honey Jar and love it. Thing is, I had a picture I wanted to add but forgot to do so. What are feelings about opening up to add it? Do it? Don't do it? Start over? Hmmm.... Thank you!

NYStarchild ,

You can open the jar and add the photo. But I would also read this as a sign, why did you forget? Is there something that could indicate relating to the work? Example if I forget something I see it as an issue of concentration, focused energy or my petition. If all is clear then simply add the photo with prayer and light a candle.
