Hi, recently I have used LM's COS products and have been able to get a job promotion. I have been thinking about getting a mojo hand to help me succeed in my new role. Which type of mojo hand would be the best? COS or steady work would be more suitable? Thanks!

I just made a mojo bag. After I sewed it shut, but before I dressed it with oil, I realized that I had a personal concern to add, so I cut the tie threads, added the new concern while talking to the mojo, and then breathed into it again and prayed over it as I sewed it shut again. Is this okay? Should it remain effective, or should I start again?

I've done this before, lol. As long as you redid all the steps you took when tying the mojo the first time, you will be fine. You basically remade it and called in the spirit again so it is alive. Keep it safe and keep it fed.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to put into a mojo bag for the purpose of healing someone's anxiety? As I mentioned in the other thread, I'm trying to save my marriage. My spouse has enormous anxiety right now that makes him want to leave our relationship. I would like to make a bag to heal that anxiety in order to facilitate saving the marriage. I have LM healing oil, open road, love me, a bunch of oils actually.

There are no herbs that I know of specifically for anxiety. There are herbs for strength and mastery like Master of the Woods or Sampson Snake Root. There are healing herbs such as Althaea leaves that you could use. It really depends on the cause.

Since anxiety is a medical condition, it is best treated by a doctor. Work needs to be done on a spiritual level as well as the mundane for lasting effects. Your best results would probably be marriage counselling in tandem with the magical work you are already doing. Throwing more magic at a situation doesn't necessarily mean a greater success rate.

I know all the usual money herbs/roots/minerals - is there something more besides a petition I could add? I have gold flakes and pearls I currently use in spells but thought maybe others would have some ideas.

You can order the mojo and slippery elm. It will come to you to prepare it so add a pinch of the slippery elm to the mojo along with your petition ( prayer request). Wearing the oils as you pray to not to have any effects from the gossip, backbiting is what I would do. Many workers in hoodoo are Christian, it is a christian folk tradition with history roots from Africa, Native Americans, Jewish Americans, European Americans, both Catholic and Christian. Hello everyone,

I've heard of doing pinning mojo bags to underwear on the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour, as well as other places.

My question is, will a safety pin tear or damage delicate fabrics like lycra, nylon, etc?

I first thought of getting a larger pin so the bag was well fastened but then I began to wonder whether such a large pin would hurt the fabric.

Also, when it comes time to change and wash the underwear, I was planning to remove the bag but keep the pin in the original holes in order not to have to put more holes in the next time.

Does anyone have any personal experience with this?

I'm making a mojo bag for a new job - I'll be working 10 to 12 hour days, 6 days a week, and it's very physically demanding and difficult, especially at first. (Walking 10+ miles a day, outside in the heat/cold.) The bag is for actual physical stamina, as I'll do a career mojo separately.

My roots/herbs: Master root, Master of the Woods, Sampson Snake, Queen Elizabeth for physical and emotional strength as a woman, and Angelica, golden seal, and self heal for recovery/healing. I'll have a petition and some personal concerns in it as well.

What oil would be good for this? I have Crown of Success, which I really enjoy using, but perhaps there is something better? I should have Healing oil available soon as well. Thanks for any ideas -

I understand that, I always like to think about the oil and its spiritual attribute it brings to my work, since this one is for physical strength and endurance, I think more along the lines of power, even a High John oil would go great if you added that root for strength. You of course could add this to another oil to make a personal blend such as Power oil to helping hand oil, so that what your hands do prospers, since its a job, or power oil with a victory oil for success and strength in this job. Miss Cat writes a section about the story of oil and it really helps when thinking of oils and blends to use in work.

When I say pray I mean to do so from the heart and to ask God to protect you, to ask the elements of the oil, or the herbs, the items being used to bring their natural spiritual power into the work. I may say as I dress the item, " Lord Jesus, I pray that you silence the mouth of those who oppose me, those who gossip, whoremonger and cause trouble, I Pray God that you protect me and seal me from any gossip at (Job), and by ( people name) and unknown gossipers, in Jesus name AMEN". A petition is really a written prayer so something along those lines. I may also say, " By the power of Slippery elm to stop gossip, please cover me and cause all gossip at work about me to be silenced, to not let it effect me AMEN. I just want to say how great a particular mojo bag is, based on a suggestion in one of Cat’s books, The Art of Making Mojos. It is a “Master Mojo” and I added my fingernails and toenails to it, along with a seal of Mars. I feed it Master oil and Mars oil, depending on how I’m feeling.

I am in no way, shape, form, or fashion a fit woman and I’m almost 50 but I was able to walk 12 miles in the heat and was not tired or sore at the end of my 10 hour day - in fact, I felt energized. I can testify to this mojo’s power for people who have physically demanding jobs.

Wear the mojo touching the body for a week, then carry it in your pocket. Touch it daily hold it on your hands and pray for the job you want. A petition is a statement of what you want, it is best to pray the same petition, keep it consistent, meaning one day I dont pray for a new great job I love, then the next day I want a job as a manager, the next day a job at Jane Do Corporation. The changing is confusing and it lacks clarity with the work. Focus a clear petition of exactly what you want. A petition is also a form of prayer, when you ask God, or others depending on your tradition. Psalms are traditional to work with a mojo, candle work, hoodoo. Psalms 23 is a traditional Psalm to read over the work you are doing.

Hello again,i just prepared my first mojo hand,the crown of success,i tried to follow exactly the instructions of the paperwork,i wrote my desire to find a job of pc technician in a good company in my town,with a proper good salary and good daily program.

Wrote my full name 9 times across the desire.

Then crossed it and touched success oil in four corners of the paper,prayed career success come to me as soon as possible.Touched my crown with oil and the mojo with few drops and prayed again,opened the bag,put in the small paper with my petition and closed good again,keep it in my room in a place nobody could see it.

First week, wear it touching the skin, you can pin it to undergarments if this is impossible to do, then wear in pocket and touch it frequently. Normally you do not open a mojo once it's been created. IT has your writing inside and it was made for you, I think it will be fine. No you would not start over, once a mojo is created it is a living being, and should be treated as one, with care.

Opening the bag and preparing it is part of the ritual of making a mojo. Once it is completed it is not opened. Only time it is, would be a year later to refresh it, where old items that are changed out, hard items dressed with oils and the bag is reconstructed. You are discussing a brand new one. Yes you can wear it in your pocket and touch it frequently, when you do, think of your petition, the goal you want. Sleeping with it is traditional as well.
