I have been thinking about Saint Peter these days, as I'm starting a novena in his honour because his feast day is upcomming. I'm finishing a novena in Saint John the Baptist's honour; I link both saints with opened doors and relating Saint John, he's the one who prepares my path. (He's fantastic!).

Have just come back for a walk, it's still morning in my location, and as usual when I go for a walk, I petition Arcangel Raphael's help saying "take my feet where you want to guide me, take care of me during my way". Raphael normally gives me nice signals of his presence next to me.
I went to a park for a walk, was thinking about going out the park through the main door where I entered in, but for any reason, I decided to go out for other different door I found in my way (or maybe I was being guided by Raphael 😉).
In that exact moment I was thinking about some kind of way I have to take to deploy a mirror spell and I also have been thinking of my life's paths. Immediately, I saw something brilliant in the ground, I got closer: It was a pair of keys. Saint Peter has come like a thunder into my mind. Have taken the keys, they are these kind of keys on miniature, which can be put into a pendant or in the house keys holder (not real keys, just a toy le something). I think they belong to a teenager, have found them next to the gate of a high school, they seem that kind of keys used to close tenageer's diaries notebooks or something like that.

This is a great signal from Saint Peter through my carer walker Arcangel Raphael. Have been thinking about for many days how much I need to have my paths open free of blockages!

Thank you so much my dear Saint Peter, my dear Raphael and my dear Saint John the Baptist!.

(I'm going to use these keys for road opening spells ;) )
Thank you Saint Jude, glorious Apostle, miracle performer, because you took me back to Jesus.

Rndaniella --

Saint Peter is a Catholic saint, so he is petitioned, according to Catholic tradition, as an intercessor. His close relationship with Jesus means that his help is often sought in petitioning Jesus as well. His symbol is the crossed keys, and people may place a pair of keys on the altar in front of his candle. He is the patron saint of fishermen, shipbuilders, watchmakers, stationers, and stone carvers, of those with fevers, and of those with foot troubles, and of those in hope of long life.

Write or preak your petition to him in your own words, or use the Lord's Prayer.

I am new member and I need some assistance. I have tried 3 times to petition st expedite but sorry to say he didn't come thru for me.

My first time I got the red 6inch candle, water, and a framed photo. I let the candle finish burn but I think I had to many requests money, house, car, loans etc on petition and it didn't work.

So the 2rd time I used a 7 day candle instead of the 6inch and let it burn and but didn't know I needed extra 7 day candles until he comes thru and at the time I couldn't afford so many because it's pricey in my country.

3rd time I went to supermarket to get 2 st.expedite and I swear I picked up st expedite but when I got up the next day am seeing it's st Peter (San Pedro) honestly I don't even know about st Peter until the seeing the candle I really don't know how I made that mistake...,.

My last petition was for a job. I have been unemployed for over 2 yrs and I have sent out application but never gotten a response for 2 specific places I would like to work at.

I was also thinking I should More 6inch candles to light each day while saying my prayer along with the 7 day candle burning throughout hoping that st expedite will come to my aid.

Any advise?

Hello Rndaniella,

I would take advantage of having made this mistake, and work with Saint Peter. It could be a sign that he wants to work with you.

Saint Peter holds the keys to heaven. It is also said in liturgical texts that he cast a very long shadow, which contributes to his image as a protector; I would petition him to keep you safe from any further trouble from unemployment and to unlock the door to a wonderful new opportunity.

You can keep his icon on your altar and speak to him with gratitude for his care and assistance. His flower is the carnation, so I would keep a fresh bouquet of them on your altar as a tribute.

He is wonderful and will be a strong ally for you if you wish.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I too was taught to put two keys out for Saint Peter, crossed, as under the feet of the Hierophant card in the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.

Thank you datzz but I still don't understand the tarot cards. Am new and willing to learn😃

Items:
St.Peter 7 day candle
Photo of st.peter
2 keys.... new or used?
Tuesday is his day.

Do I petition him only at nights?

Can I use a red 6 or 10 inch candle instead of the st.peter 7 day candle?

Should I have the st.peter candle lite for 7 days straight or put it out each time am done praying?

Or should I have the st.peter candle burn 7 days straight and each time I pray ...... would I have to light a 4 inch candle along side the st.peter candle?

Rndaniella,

St. Peter is known in the Bible as being given the keys to Heaven Matt 16:19- And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

To petition a saint, the items vary based on the tradition, St Peter is often petitioned with a candle, a photo (Lucky Mojo Prints it on the candle) often it is set out with a glass of water, two keys crossed and wrapped together with read thread. You can use the other candles if you like but the tradition here comes from the Catholic tradition of a Novea candle, Novea
its translated from Latin to mean 9, Novea is 7-9 days depending on the prayer. If you do the individual candles you will use 7 of them. You also lose having the work burn on the petition the whole time which adds to the work.

You can petition at day or night. You leave the candle burning the whole time if you can do so safely. No you do not light several candles at the same time. Keys are often used as they are skeleton keys

JayDee,

Thank you 😌.

About the keys with the red thread.... Do I need to wrap the entire keys or just a middle section to secure the keys?

Do I have to purchase new keys or just old ones I am not using at home?

It's very expensive to buy 7 day candle here in my country at $10 for one but I do have 2 and will do my work with.

I know Tuesday is his day but can I do it on any other day of the weeks? Reason beginning sometimes I can't do as I please when it comes to my rituals. I don't know if he will mad about using another day?

If st.peter come thru for me what are his offerings?

Rndaniella,

You wrap the keys in the center with red thread to bind them in a cross shape. I have only used skeleton keys I have never used a regular house key for this, I suppose it can work but its not what I have ever done. You can get these keys on Lucky Mojo.
Keys: https://www.luckymojo.com/mojocattools.html#keys

Most saints you can work with when needed, most people cannot wait for an emergency and do the work when needed with the saint.

Some saints are said to be more specific and according to regional traditions work must start on a certain day. In addition, each saint has a feast day in the Catholic calendar, and people like to honour them and set up altars for them on those specific days.

You can always start when you need to and then follow up on the saint's' specific day if you know it.

JayDee,

I did some research today and I saw what the skeleton keys look like and I understand that I will definitely have to buy two of them.

Another thing I came across was collecting dirt from a crossroads and leaving 6 pennies on the ground without turning back, then taking the candle and placing inside the ring dirt upright to begin ritual.

Am clueless but wondering if that a traditional St. Peter offering?

What are St. Peter OFFERINGS???

I read the previous forum and notice someone mention the dirt from a crossroad. so now am confused.

1) st. peter candle, photo, water,2 skeleton keys..

but

2) st peter candle, photo, water, crossroad dirt, 9 pennies, any 2 keys.

I don't know which is the appropriate one

Rndaniella,

You are asking for a "one size fits all" answer, which does not apply in this case, and often does not apply in magic traditions. There are variances to what the proper offering is to a saint, some differ based on who you ask. In the Catholic Church a candle with a prayer called a Novea is an offering to the saint.

But are you asking about St Peter as the spirit of the crossroads, or the road opener, which he is not as well known as in the Catholic Church, then it differs.

The work is a bowl of dirt from a crossroad, not as an offering, but the dirt represents the crossroad, where magic happens, where things open up, where you have choices and paths. Keys are traditional to have not as an offering but they represent Peter as the keys to Heaven and opening roads, unlocking doors. Place the keys in the bowl and burn a candle, I always give water to saints as well. After the work is done you take the dirt to the crossroads and dispose of it with 9 pennies.

Some traditions have you give something to a saint, that all depends on the deal or relationship you build with the saint. Saints are spirits of individuals, they have likes and dislikes, just like you and me, and some (but not all) like getting paid, or rewarded.

It may sweeten the saint to say I will publish your name for answering my prayer and offer you some food, such as seafood for Saint Peter, as he was a fisherman. You can also tell him you will make a donation to a Catholic Church with his name for answering your prayer.

You really want to build a relationship with the saint you are working with.

As for the keys, they are often kept and word as a charm, or added to a mojo bag with Road Opener herbs and oils to open the bath you prayed for.

Rndaniella,

JayDee tells it true.

There is no "one way." There are regional traditions. There are doctrinal differences. More than one religion acknowledges Saint Peter, so there are also religious differences.

"Which is the "right" recipe for bread? "

You will get many replies to that question.

The same is true when you ask about offerings to Saint Peter.

And, you do know, as JayDee said, many people never make "offerings" to a saint, but simply donate to a charity in his name.

JayDee,

Thank you for clarifying.

I only tried working with st.expedite but to no avail but since someone told me that st.peter might want to work with me I assume st Peter has a specific offering just as st.expedite. so now I understand st Peter at the church novena...7 day candle, water, keys and photo of st Peter. For the offering can the fish/salmon be raw or cooked🤔

And the st Peter at the crossroad is different....am guessing je is the Voodoo lwa papa legba (hope I spelt it right) and I think this is the spell that has the candle in the dirt. Correct me if am wrong.

I want to open doors of employment, love, self motivation, success and finance. There are 2 job I have applied to and haven't gotten a response and I am need of a good paying job desperately.

But first I need to remove this cloud of laziness, unmotivated, unhappy, not interested in anything much. So this is why I need to get through with St Peter because he open and closes doors.

I just want to work with one saint/spirit and am hoping St. Peter will assist.

Rndaniella ,

Yes some traditions have blended with the Saints and those traditions have different practices, Latinos in Mexico will do different things when petitioning St Peter than a Cuban will or an Italian.

St. Peter can open the roads, but as you said, you also need to do the work, not be "lazy or unmotivated" as you said. When petitioning a saint, my personal preference I ask for one thing, or one situation to help me with, I do not throw everything at them. Be specific on a petition on what you need.

The most pressing issue seems to be you need a good paying job, this is what I would seek his assistance with, set a candle and pray his prayer, introduce yourself and ask if he will help you and to give you a sign that you will understand. Return and petition him for what you need, be focused on a good paying job. Get out and apply, look online, get going as you ask for the Saint assist. Promise him something nice for helping you, he was a fisher so cooked or raw would be fine. Then carry the keys in your pocket as you apply for jobs and seek gainful employment. Pray his prayer daily, give him fresh water daily. Not every saint will work with you, they are picky just like we are in the physical world about friends.

JayDee,

When it come to work I have been applying online, in person and sending out and Everytime I send out application it by 25 of them and I have realized for almost 2 years I would hardly get a call back. I even restart a business with had bags and still my customers don't pay etc. So am trying but I feel like something is holding me down.

It's like I have good idea but nothing goes forward. And I will ask for one thing at a time. Remove these obstacle I mention, and then work and hopefully things fall into place..... eventually

And when I said depressed, lazy and unmotivated and can't stay happy for to long... I meant this is how i have been feeling for quit some years and I feel like am sinking.

Like u said some spirit/saint won't work with me but I am keeping my finger crossed 😊

Rndaniella ,

Thank you for explaining a bit more of whats going on. With your description, St. Peter would be a great asset to assist you to open those roads. Since this seems to be an issue of long-term blocks, I would suggest a spiritual bath to clear the way, cleanse your home and along with a Block Buster or Road Opener spell to clear the path. Both are similar, one blows the path open, other seems to cut it open and lead to success. Another product that would help is Steady work to get success in a job, keeping that job, getting paid well. Some people mix Money Drawing oil in the work to bring success.

I understand how you feel, I am sorry you are experiencing this, I do think a spiritual bath and a house cleanse will help with those feelings, as well as open those paths for you. May be helpful to bath several times in a row for a hard situation. Joshua 6: 17-19 is traditionally prayed to open roads and clear paths, recite it for 7 days (as did they in the scripture) and bath to open the paths.

Saints are specific which is true, dont lose faith or give up hope, do the work, do it with faith and believe in the work. Pray Psalms 23 daily as you ask God to help you get a new job and bring success into your life.

JayDee,

1) I have actually done a spiritual bath once and I did use sea water, whole milk and honey but am not sure if it worked since I only did it once. How and where can I get spiritual bath recipes or herbs that I know is simple & powerful that I can do each day?

2) Just to clarify must this be in this order? Before I petition st.peter do u recommend I do this below?
1st - spiritual bath
2rd - house cleanse
3rd - blockbuster to remove
4th - Road opener to open roads

3) I do have money drawing oil and road opener oil. I did the road open with a 7 day candle but am not sure if I did it correctly.

Hi, Rndaniella

1) The book "Hoodoo Spiritual Baths" by Aura Laforest will give you recipes for baths made with herbs as well as baths made with spiritual supplies. Included are bath, floor wash, and even laundry wash recipes for many different situations and conditions and the book costs only $9.00.

2) You seem to want very firm rules. Perhaps it is your way of thinking and mine that are different, but when you ask "must the order be such-and-so?" i reply, "Yes, that's a good way, a very logical way to do it, and, in fact, since i am a logical person, that is the order in which i would do it."

3) Casting a spell "correctly" can become an issue if one is new to a folk-magic tradition, has no in-person elder teachers, or is prone to over-thinking or self-doubt. Sometimes a person in such a situation needs is a helper or teacher, such as we are here. In time you will build up enough experience to evaluate your methods of work and the effectiveness of certain magical and spiritual activities. If you pray while you work, you will very likely experience greater focus and concentration.

Here is the bathing book that will help you:

Rndaniella --

I am sorry to hear that you live in such a restrictive nation, but we are an actual manufacturing shop and all of our oils, powders, candles, incenses, baths, washes, amulets, books, herbs, roots, and statuary are real, physical objects. We do not sell electronic goods.

You can read the thousands of free web pages i have written for the world to enjoy, but our books are just that -- books.
