Master Hand Figural Church Altar Candle Questions and Answers

Unread post by Mama Micki » Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:35 am

This appears to be a new candle at Lucky Mojo. No picture has been posted, but the listing says it is 9.75 inches tall and comes in several colors. Any more info on this?

isn't the Master Hand candle the one that Spiritual churches used to use for everyone else to light their candles from during the service?

It really would be nice to have some of these for my altars at Caroline Dye Memorial Chapel :)

Right on both counts, although the candle is not really "new" with us. We have been selling them for about a year now. They are a very old-style candle, and have a long record of use in Spiritualist churches.

There are pictures of the Master Hand candle in the November 1, 2012 newsletter:

Here's a picture of a red one, from the above-cited November 2012 newsletter, courtesy of Love Potion's photographic skills:

It is situated next to a large 5-cat Maneki Neko savings bank. These candles come in black, yellow, green, pink, blue, and red.

You can order right here in the Forum by clicking on the blue Add To Cart buttons.

There's another picture in the newsletter, also by Love Potion, that shows you how big they are compared to the glass-encased candles -- and, folks, they are SOLID WAX, not the low-melting-point oily wax used in the vigil lights.

The candles look as gorgeous as they feel powerful in pictures AND in person. Will definitely be adding this to my list. Very well done craftsmanship on these candles.

Hello to all.

I recently received a LM white Master Hand Altar Candle. From what I'm learning in HRCC, it seems appropriate to dress the candle with a condition oil (e.g., Power Oil), pray over it, and then seal it so it is prepared to work. Is there any recommended way to prepare the candle for use?

Hello, Jimmy,
This is a little complicated to explain in a post. You might want to look over this page and consider purchasing these books on the subject.
www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html
If you're taking the course, this is all explained in the book.
You can inscribe on it, you can place petition papers, etc.
But, again, this is in your book.
Wishing you the best
Take care

Thanks for the response, Miss Aida. The course and site provide excellent information on working with candles. I think, though, that I was unclear in my original question. Since the Master Hand Church Altar Candle is for a specific purpose, I was wondering if there was a preparation that was unique to this candle? If not, then no worries.

Take care.

The candle may be fixed and prepared, as you wish, and it canbe loaded from below. See "The Art of Hoodoo andle Magic." for more details.

This is a little off topic, but does Lucky Mojo sell those Maneki Neko banks?

The Master Hand candles have a beautiful design, btw. They look very graceful.
Thank you Saint Jude, Saint Expedite, and Our Lady of Loreto for your loving help and guidance!
