The AIRR Tech Team gathered today to give birth to a new page on the Egyptian deity Tawret, an ancient Egyptian goddess of childbirth and protection of the home and family, depicted as a pregnant hippopotamus with the paws of a lion and the back of a crocodile, standing upright. Miss Michaele wrote the page on this much-loved Nubian and Kemetic deity, Nagasiva Yronwode provided the image, Catherine Yronwode edited, and proofreading was supplied by Dr. Jeremy Weiss and Nagasiva. Check out our new baby page on Tawret!
