The Hellebore is a lovely but poisonous flower that blooms in the Winter and symbolizes a curse or deadly intentions; its very name means "it kills when eaten." Hellebore is associated with the planets Mars and Saturn in malefic conjunction and, on the theory that a small amount of a toxin can effect a cure, it was said in ancient times to be used by skilled physicians for the remission of mental illness and seizures. and here is a proper thank you for miss cat with the reading, you are very knowledgeable of the cards and certainly has a lot of experience in both psychometry and tarot reading, I knew we talked way past the 15 minutes but this reading was loaded with insights that is also consistent with my own intuition, so glad that I didn't go with the love spell, and instead asked you for more information. I really hope I could help that poor girl, but I guess she is already too far gone and bounded to the Devil, as you put it. I guess I will have to keep looking for someone better.

Or maybe I could try to give her some blessing and protection for her to shake off all those wicked influence on her, let her break free from everything by herself, so she could potentially find someone better and more suitable for her. That is just my wishful thinking but hey, I do believe in my own power of intentions as well as how well LM products work, those I already have, as well as god himself.

But anyways, thank you miss cat for this very detailed reading

Mastersirius, you are welcome.

I would bless her with wisdom, sobriety, true joy, and the freedom to develop her gifts to the world in whatever way is most beneficial to her and to those who love her. It never hurts to bless someone, and is always the most charitable thing to do.

I enjoyed our time together as well. Thanks for choosing me to read for you.

The Dogwood flower, due to having four petals, has long been a symbol of the cross of Christianity, with ascriptions such as purity and affection. The dogwood tree blooms profusely in early Spring under the canopy of larger deciduous trees, and thus it is also associated with reliability, durability, and strength. Miss Cat

Not much of an update, but just something interesting that I think you should know. I asked my own cards, using the one card per question method you suggested, and it seems like that the accuracy of the cards had improved a lot, like every card I pulled, it seemed to be resonating with me. I uses a deck called Sensual Goddess for love and relationship questions. This deck has artwork that are both inspired by the RWS deck, as well loaded with feminine energy.

I pulled a card asking how the girl feels about me, and I got the same representation card that you pulled. Artwork is a bit different, but it also has all the original symbols.

Then I asked about how her bf feels about me, I got...The Tower. The artwork was also changed for this deck, instead of lighting strike of a wooden tower with people jumping off, the artwork is a woman rushing to the window and watches the horrifying 9/11 event unfolds in her apartment. In this context however, it is her bf going full psycho mode with all his anger toward me. I really got to tread carefully from here on out.

I had been burning a mixture of protection, healing, blessing, and van van incense and smoking the girl's picture in the smoke, and inciting a petition that I wrote based on what you suggested above 9 times a day, and planning to go at it until I reach 9 days, and if I have money then, I might have to let MISC light a blessing and protection candle for her to further help her breaking away from his control, as well blessing her in general.

The Carnation, also known as the Clove-Pink or Clove-Gillyflower, is a symbol of love and fascination, but because Carnations are found in a wide variety of colours, each tint has a subtly different meaning. These rosy-peach Carnations remind us of naked, carnal sexuality with a romantic tinge. I am keeping my regular Saturday office hours (1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time) at Hoodoo Psychics today. The Chamomile is a medical remedy that promotes restful sleep and good health for children. Magically, because of its golden-yellow centers, it is also found in spells of money-luck. Finally, as member of the Daisy family, Chamomile is widely used to predict love futures by young women who pull the white petals off one by one, while reciting, "He loves me ... he loves me not," and hoping for a truthful outcome. The Gladiolus, whose name means "Little Sword" in Latin, is a symbol of male energy and love, and is a proper offering from a gladiator to his beloved, for its flowers are receptively feminine in shape. The blood-red Poppy is a symbol of peaceful sleep, quietude, and death. It is associated with these things because the plant is a source of the narcotic drug opium, which is used for pain relief, as a cough suppresant, and, larger doses, to bring on a fatal coma. Thank you Miss Cat for your very detailed insight on the things I asked.

I do still have one question. You mentioned drawing Xs on the eyes and mouth. Say I have a female that I wish for her to love me, and sees me as her lover. I use similar method you described but instead of Xs, I draw hearts on the eyes and her mouth, can it be done this way? What other shapes can I draw?

Yes, hearts on the eyes and lips would be great for a paper doll for love. Dollar signs are used when the subject is money, especially hoping for an investment.

Good luck to you.

The Camellia, like many flowers that come in a range of white, pink, and red, is associated with love; the white for a crush or new love, the pink for romantic and devoted love, and the red for sexual and marital love. In addition, because the Tea plant is a species of Camellia, the Camellia flower, when shown with its leaves, evokes the notion of alertness and vivacity. I have always had a hard time losing weight. After contracting Lyme disease it became impossible. I did a month-long juice fast last year and lost a mere 1lb. Not long ago, I found a homeopathic physician online who specializes in weight loss. However, she is 7000 miles away in India, so it seemed crazy to even contact her. Besides, I'd already tried every diet, supplement, exercise, therapy, etc., and nothing worked. But I couldn't let the idea go. I asked Miss Cat if it would be beneficial to work with her, and much to my surprise, she said indeed it would.

I'm over the moon to say I've lost 13 lbs. in the last three weeks! And I feel great! Thank you heaps, Miss Cat! <3

The Forget-Me-Not, with its tiny scorpionic racemes of blue-eyed flowers and its softly velcro-like seed-pods, is so symbolic of remembrance and fidelity that its very name reflects its magical qualities. The flower buds are pink, symbolizing romantic and devoted love, and the flowers open to a sweet blue with yellow centers, representative of honesty, clarity, and fidelity -- but if you have ever walked through a patch of these darling, shade-loving bienniels when the seed-pods are ready to separate from the stems and latch onto your socks or your dog's fur, you truly will never forget them! The Banksia or Lady Banks Rose is, like other Roses, a symbol of love, but this special Rose differs from others in many ways. For one, it is virtually thornless, with very soft petals, representing the gentlest of love, For another, it blooms all along its lengthy canes, in huge cascades of colour. As a third distinction, it does not smell like a Rose; instead it has the distinct fragrance of Violets, giving it some of the soothing qualities of Pansy or Heart's Ease. Fourth, it blooms earlier than any other Rose, a full month ahead of both garden varieties and wild Rose species. And fifth, it is a tender-hearted Rose, a native of Southern China that has been naturalized in California, Arizona, Florida, and Australia, and other regions with only the very lightest of Winter frosts. Cherry blossoms are a lovely symbol of Spring, and thus of nature's annual renewal. Because their bloom-time is brief, and the petals fall in drifts, they also symbolize the fleeting nature of life, and encourage us to embrace a serene consciousness of time's passage. To most people the Daffodil symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings, and the coming of Spring because it is among the first hardy perennials to bloom after the cold of Winter. However, its name in Greek and Latin is Narcissus, and it was named for Narcissus, the beautiful but foolish son of a river god. It is said that one day Narcissus bent down to look in the water, saw his own lovely reflection, and drowned trying to embrace it. The nodding head of the Narcissus flower represents his downward gaze, and the word "narcissistic" describes his self-absorption. The Orchid is a symbol of sacred sexuality. The Pansy is a flower whose very name means "thought." As such, it is a symbol of fond memories, kindly sympathy, introspection, and reverie. The pensive Pansy is also the symbol of the Freethought Movement, whose members have declared its meaning to be "memories, loving thoughts, and souvenirs." The Violet is a symbol of true love, modesty, humility, innocence, faith, spirituality, and mysticism; and because it is closely related to the Pansy, it is also a symbol of thoughtful remembrance. It is associated with the months of February and March, the zodiacal sign of Pisces, and the planet Jupiter. The Carnation, also known as the Clove-Pink or Clove-Gillyflower, is a symbol of love and fascination, but because Carnations are found in a wide variety of colours, each tint has a subtly different meaning. As a sword-flower, it is associated with the nobler qualities of the warrior planet Mars, such as strength of character and faithful bravery. The blood-red Poppy is a symbol of peaceful sleep, quietude, and death. It is associated with these things because the plant is a source of the narcotic drug opium, which is used for pain relief, as a cough suppressant, and, in larger doses, to bring on a fatal coma. Is there such a thing as the dreaded Evil Eye? Can it be possible that some people have the power to cast strange spells on those they envy and wish to destroy, or is it just a figment of a tortured imagination or an unholy belief of the ignorant and superstitious?

Once you understand the Mysterious aspects of this Evil Terror and know of the many different Symbols, Talismans, Amulets, Seals, and Rituals used to thwart and CURE it, all fears will VANISH as the clouds before the Sun! The Jasmine is a symbol of psychic visions, pure love, and meaningful dreams. Because it blooms at night with an intoxicating perfume, it represents astral travel and dream-visitations from a loved one or family member. The Wistaria, a very long-lived vining tree that can grow to 30 or more feet in length, is a symbol of longevity and sensuality, of lives entwined in strong love. The abundance of its pea-shaped flowers, which are followed by pea-like seed pods, is associated with female fecundity and fertility. The Rose Bud is a symbol of new or budding love and the Red Rose is a symbol of sexual passion, so the Red Rose Bud carries the meaning of an expectation of sexual union, and it is for this reason that men are known to give their lovers a dozen Red Rose Buds. The Rose is associated with the planet Venus and the colour red with the planet Mars, hence the Red Rose Bud also symbolizes the astrological conjunction of Venus and Mars. Now that i am on Hoodoo Psychics TWO days a week -- Friday and Saturday -- and keeping regular office hours (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Fridays and 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Saturdays, Pacific Time), folks will be seeing twice as many entries in this thread on the ancient "Language of Flowers," as i use these floral photos to teach people about the magical uses of all members of the plant kingdom not just roots and herbs.

A series of web pages on The Language of Flowers is also being added to my semi-sub-rosa web site,

Your Wate and Fate:
http://YourWateAndFate.com

Your Wate and Fate explores all of the many forms of divination that are not covered at my other divination site:

The Mystic Tea Room:
http://www.mystictearoom.com/wiki/The_Mystic_Tea_Room

which, as the domain name foretells, is about tea leaf reading.

Your Wate and Fate is different -- it ranges from well-known fortune telling methods like cartomancy, palmistry, and astrology to obscure and deprecated methods, like spinners and ornithomancy or divination by means of birds.

At this time, Your Wate and Fate is only open to my to my Patreon supporters, the folks who pay me $2.00 per weekly article to broaden their knowledge of the occult and mystic realms -- but after one year with Patron's-only access, each web page will open to the public, and i will announce the openings here at the Forum. My first Patreon page will open to the public on January 7th, 2022.

In the meantime, while you wait on fate, please consider subscribing and supporting my work as a teacher of the popular magical arts exemplified in the ephemera of 100 years ago. Find my Patreon sign-up page at

The Orchid is a symbol of sacred sexuality. Its graceful flowers evoke the image of a female vulva, while its tuberous roots derive their name from the same Greek word that denotes the male testicles. The gift of Orchid flowers from a man to a women therefore carries an immediate message of desire and its fulfillment. The Bleeding Heart flower is a symbol of passionate love so deep that its loss would be tragic, and may represent the pain of unrequited love or lost love, as well as a form of compassionate love so strong that one's heart figuratively bleeds for the sorrows of another.
