Hi gg18,

I'm so sorry to hear you are having such trouble with your ex's family.

Yes, Peaceful Home can help with this situation. I also suggest you put them in a honey jar to sweeten them to you. Please read this page on how to work with honey jars - scroll down for the advice on sweetening in-laws. Use Stop Gossip as part of this jar.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi there,
I have some questions about completing the peaceful home honey jar spell. I could not find the answers on the forum.

Can we both do the spell (Husband & Wife) together and how does that work?
We plan to use it to make the home more peaceful in the context of marriage etc.
Do we write two pieces of paper or on one with each of our names on top of each one another?
Who lights the candle?
Do we need to use personal concerns for each of us?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
J

Hello Jasone,

You can work it together by combining your petition on one paper, including both of your names and anyone else living in your home. Your personal concerns can help as well.

It doesn't matter who lights the candle, as you are both working towards the same goal.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

How many family members can you put in the peaceful home honey jar? What if I was interested in placing 7 of them in the jar? How exactly would your write your petition for 7 people? Also do you think its advisable to place licorice root with the peaceful home herbs mixture? Iam interested in my family members listening to me, doing as I say and influencing them while sweetening at the same time.

Hello Gema,

If there seven people in the family, you can list them by name. I usually do descending order age but That is just a suggestion.

I would not use dominating elements like licorice root when you're trying to sweeten people to you. These energies do not mesh well so pick your approach and stick with it. A Peaceful Home Honey Jar is it gentle approach, so I would combine it with only gentle petitions. If you want to dominate your family, you will need to choose a different spell.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi, Gema,

I would like to weigh in on the subject of Licorice and Calamus with respect to a Peaceful Home Honey Jar Spell Kit:

This spell kit is used to bring about peace, not to rule or control. We have provided all the herbs necessary for use in the spell. Licorice is not included.

Licorice and Calamus herbs are used in spells of influence, command, dominating power, and control.

Because we have received questions about Licorice and Calamus in the past, i would like to refer you to two places where i describe their use (and NON-use) with sugar and honey spells, as well as in candle spells, herb mixtures, sachets, and incense.

Calamus Root Questions and Answers

There is an appropriate way to use Licorice in an Influence honey jar as a stirring stick, but not as an ingredient, and it is explained in those earlier posts. I would not use it in Peaceful Hone, as that spell is for ease and tranquility and kindliness. Please take a moment to read those posts.

Additionally, here are the Herb Magic pages on both roots, with further free spell-casting information:
