I just got the oils I ordered. I am pretty excited but I have a question. Is it possible to just anoint the sole of your foot with an oil who characteristics you hope to absorb or take on. For instance, if I had a big test to take, could I take a little drop and put it on the sole of my foot (presumably my left foot) or even just rub it into the left palm of my hand. Or is it better to anoint a candle.

I actually don't want a one-off success, I would like for the magick to keep working.

I don't know how to use oils for anointing, the spell work, especially with candles and sachets, you lay out really well. But I don't understand how to anoint. Maybe I missed it or maybe it is not there because it is not a smart thing to do. Or maybe it is something entirely different. I don't know.

Can someone explain.

Thank you

Hello psalms.magick,

I have moved your post to this thread because you are asking general questions about how to use Lucky Mojo oils. Please be mindful of where you post, as you were in the wrong topic area for your question.

If you were using oils to be skilled enough to pass a test, such as Crown of Success, you would anoint your head. You would not just anoint the sole of one of your feet.

You can read more throughout this thread, as well as in the threads of the specific oils you purchased for more information on how to use them.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I have posted, but I have always received very positive, helpful answers here in the past. I am currently growing a special plant indoors that I would like to bless with hoodoo oils to be healthy and fruitful. I have several LM oils to choose from. My question is, what would be a nice way to do this In your opinion? Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hello Genies_Lamp,

You could lightly dress your fingers with Healing oil and ruffle them through the leaves of the plant. Alternatively, use the Healing bath crystals and dissolve a tiny pinch in water then lightly spritz the plant from a spray bottle.

Miss Athena,

Thank you for the great deas! Those are very helpful. Just a few followup questions if you don't mind. If I wanted to take it a step further, could I burn some candles or even make a bottle spell to keep close to them? If so, how would I word such a petition appropriately to target the plant? What kind of personal concern would I use? Hope that's not too many questions. I would sure appreciate your help. Thank you!

Genies_Lamp,

I don't think I would burn candles around the plants. The excess heat / smoke isn't good for them and if I was a plant, I'd have a healthy fear of fire. You could do a bottle spell using some of the dirt as a concern. You wouldn't want to pinch off a leaf because, well that would hurt it and defeat the purpose. A petition? You could just write what you stated in your first post. Be healthy and fruitful. Use a five spot pattern with Healing oil and place the dirt in the petition before folding it up. Place it in a jar with healing and protection herbs.

You can find a list of herbs and the conditions they treat here: https://www.luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html

I'm considering getting an oil to anoint myself with prior to engaging in spiritual work. My current routine is to anoint myself with florida water mixed with a little salt to purify myself (placed on the forehead, base of the skull, hands, and heart while praying "Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.") But I was looking for something to add a little extra power boost after my purification routine. I'm leaning towards Abramelin, Master, or Power oil. Any advice on what route to take?

Hello nick.tillman,

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum! We're happy to have you here.

If you are looking for oils to assist you in your spiritual work, you can consider Master Key, Spirit Guide, Psychic Vision and Tobacco oil. They will help you in seeking help from your spiritual court.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Can I make a suggestion for an oil?

Some variant of Boss Fix called Landlord Fix. Or maybe just combine Boss Fix with Money House Blessing?

Hello cognitivedissonance,

You can combine those two formulas for a peaceful and prosperous tenancy.

I have found that Boss Fix works well on a landlord, as long as the petition is adapted accordingly.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hello eireguitar,

I don't quite understand your question. Since you don't ingest Lucky Mojo oils, there shouldn't be a concern about contraindications.

If you are using the oils on your skin, do a test patch and dilute with a carrier oil if you are concerned about skin irritation.

Good luck.

Since essential oils can cause homeopathic remedies to become ineffective, i wonder if rubbing a Lucky Mojo spiritual oil on a lodestone, for example, would be a subcutaneous way of ingesting the oil. In other words,, wondering if the Lucky Mojo oils would counteract the efficacy of a homeopathic remedy.

eireguitar --

You are on your own with homeopathy, i am afraid at least as far as hoodoo is concerned. They are entirely different traditions.

If you want to, you could dilute Lucky Mojo oils to homeopathic levels, but, frankly, that is not within the rootwork tradition.

Good luck.

Can I use oil(s) diluted in water to dress candles?

Reason I ask because I need to do some coercive spell, and the only oil with that intent I have is a dram of Bend Over oil that came with when I brought my Bend Over mojo bag, which i never find any use for. I plan to dress teacup candles with this diluted oil, it is an emergency of some sort, and I won't earn enough money in time to order more stuff. I know LM takes a while to prepare the order even if I brought them, hence this diluted oil solution.

Hey, masterserius678,

Maybe this is that one question I can answer.
You probably don’t want to use water, because oil and water don’t mix well. It might be better if you used a carrier oil instead, like almond or olive oil...something you may already have in your kitchen.

miss cat suggests to cut the oils before you use them. They tend to be really strong straight.

mastersirius678,

I agree with OnyxRose and wouldn't recommend diluting with water. Either of the oil options given would work. I like almond oil because it lacks a smell but that's just me.

Best of luck!

LuckyScorpio --

That is a good question, and for me the answer is that the makers made them, Eileen packed them, and all the USPS only touched the outside of the box, so they are nice and snug and clean in their packing materials.

I am a customer, a HRCC student, I’ve worked at Lucky Mojo, and I’m also a postal worker. All parcels you will receive from LMCCo go through the same process that any other thing you’ll receive in the mail, which you’ll have to choose whether to “cleanse” or not. Whether it’s toilet paper from Amazon or oils from Lucky Mojo, all the boxes have gone through the same process to reach each customer. Would you cleanse something you purchased from a store? If yes, then I’d continue to do what you feel is right.
The parcels are no more clean or dirty than anything else.

I wasn't sure where to post this question so I posted it here. What oil would you recommend that I can use on myself or my family members to stop them from asking me for favors when I'm sick? Would a honey jar help? I don't mind helping others out but sometimes I don't feel well and don't have the energy to help. I tell them I'm not feeling well but they get upset and don't want to show empathy towards me being sick.

LuckyScorpio --

That is an interesting question. I would suggest a combination of Peaceful Home Oil, to keep peace in the family, with Protection Oil to keep yourself insulated from their requests or demands.

Note that i did not say Fiery Wall of Protection, which is used to keep enemies away -- just regular Protection, to provide a bit of a barrier.

If you need courage to say "No," you could add Crucible of Courage for yourself, as a third oil.

Good luck to you.

LuckyScorpio:

What miss cat said.

Also, the first thing that came to my mind was Banishing, but you don’t want to banish them forever. I’d say, specifically make clear how much time you want them to leave you alone. Specifically say it’s temporary. From this date to that date. Like from a waning moon to just before the beginning of the waxing moon, for example. And no longer.

Then clear away that oil and use Return To Me to return things to the way they were.

Try that and see what happens.

Good luck.

Hello.

My name is Inna. It's hard for me to write, I live in Russia and don't know English. I am writing through a translator. I apologize.

Do I need to apply oils on myself every day to get the results from oils?

Currently I use STEADY WORK, WEALTHY WAY, MASTER KEY oils. Disclose cash flow.

Hello, Inna --

Many people do use the oils every day -- but if you only work five days per week, just use them at work.

Some people use them to anont their work shoes or jewelry they wear to work.

You can mix them with your favourte perfume also.

I love translation machines -- we can all be friends now! It's wonderful.

Good luck to you.

Beechwood4789

Yes, you can touch oils to paper, but they will usually stain the paper, which alerts the recipient to what you are doing. More subtle is to use the sachet powders on paper -- dust them on and shake or blow them off, and no marks are left.

And i got a kick out of your username -- it is just one digit off from this song i love from my younger days:

I have another question. Can I substitute any dressing or condition oil with blessed olive oil to anoint a candle (with the appropriate herbs and powders relating to the work, of course) while my order with dressing oils arrives?

georgosian,

Blessed Olive Oil, is a noted recipe that is famous from the writings of Hyatt and used as a general oil to dress candles. It does not have the same reputation nor the ingredients, as a condition oil. Adding herbs to the oil could add some benefit, but for an herb to extract its essence into the oil may take months. Powders are not added to oils. Lucky Mojo oils are created by faith based practitioners who pray over the oils, the herbs, during the process and completion of the oil. These are from a recipe book that is filled with history and accuracy. I certainly would do as Miss Athena said and dress the candles as you wait for the condition oils, I would not assume it is a perfect substitute.

Hear is a link that is helpful regarding Lucky Mojo oils: https://www.luckymojo.com/oils.html

Hello, I am a first time poster and I am not sure if this topic is the best place for my question (or if I am using the forum correctly) so my apologies.

My question--a tad indirectly--applies to Abramelin oil. I recently purchased a copy of Jean Kent's Master Book of Psalms; in the book he specifies that they should be used with what he calls "Kabala" oil.

What Kabala oil is, is not specified (although he directs you to buy one of his other books on this topic in order to learn about it --which I have not been able to find in any case).

There are a very few suppliers online that sell what they call Kabala oil or "Jean Kent's Kabala oil"...however, I would much rather rely on a reputable business like Lucky Mojo to buy my supplies from.

From what I understand (based on what was written about the recipe for Abramelin oil on the Lucky Mojo site) it would (should?) be an effective substitute. Thanks very much for your help and time, and have a gentle, restful Solstice.

Henny Penny,

Lucky Mojo carries several Jewish traditional oil blends. The one you described sounds like Holy Oil or Abramelin Oil to me. They are similar, but slightly different. Either oil would be an acceptable substitute for the work you are doing.

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a lovely day :)

I am seeking for some advice / insights on which method would suit best for my situation. So the story is, I am trying to encourage my boyfriend to pursue a professional qualification – as we are thinking of relocating to another country and obtaining a professional qualification would make it much more favourable for him career-wise.

He is smart and hardworking. But at this moment, it seems that he was too focused on his current job to give thoughts to alternate options. I just think maybe a little push would be good – he knows what he wants but he could also be strong-willed at times so I consider Influence Oil a proper choice. May I know if my choice is suitable?

Another question is, I am not quite familiar with using magick oils that completely works on another person, like previously when I am using love oils the lovely oils are to be applied on myself and I can fully understand the logic. But for influence oils should it be facilitated with other medium like a spell? I am aware that the Influence Honey Jar Spell kit is relevant but consistent burning of candles is absolutely out of the question as I am living in a shared flat with my friends and they could be very nosy. Are there any other options for my situation?

Thanks for your time and I appreciate any ideas or advice. With love and blessings

eye_candies ,

Using Influence oil on a skull candle to inspire him to the professional qualifications would be a perfect example of the use of the product. Influence products also come in Sachet Powders-which are sprinkled onto things the person will touch, incense which is burned, or bath crystals, which you can dissolve and use it in the rinse cycle of his laundry. The oil can be added to a lotion, to his shampoo, conditioner or even body wash. Dressing a plain white votive candle with the oil (you can order them from Lucky Mojo and dressed with the oil, without a label).

Candles such as a skull candle or a figural candle, Adam or Eve, can be used as a doll-baby, which you would dress it with oil then pray over it and work it to influence his thoughts, without burning it. You can also have a doll-baby created with influencing herbs such as calamus, licorice, and Influence oil and work the doll-baby when no one is around.

There’s so much info in each category, I assume this question has been asked, and hopefully this is the right forum. Anyhow, is there a book, or resource which list the ingredients in the oils, or more specifically, how to make them??

Alhazred,

How to make oils in that the specific ingredients may change from worker to worker, though many have similarities of the product. The secret of those are a millions dollar question that is not often shared. Several books exist by people, some have traditional makings others do not. I personally find it more cost-effective for me to order the church blends and have a big bottle that matches my work.

Miss Cats course does teach ow to make oil and also requires a produced oil to graduate.

In addition, here is free Lucky Mojo provided information on making your own oils with instructions.

I have a question about self-anointing with oils, and if anyone has experimented with non-traditional ways of anointing one’s body, particularly the use of acupuncture points? I used some blessing oil on my temples yesterday and it gave me a pretty bad headache (which is unusual as I almost never get headaches).

My acupuncturist’s theory was that it caused too much energy to run to my head, and suggested it might be more useful to focus that energy below my belly button (from an energetic perspective I have too much energy that runs up and not enough that runs down).

To my understanding the idea in hoodoo anointing is to go from bottom—up for bringing things in and top-down to cast things away, though in a presentation with Clifford Low he mentioned if one doesn’t have time to anoint that way they can just anoint their temples.

But what if I say, hit kidney 1 and spleen 6 and ren 6, or whatever? Stomach 36 or 40, etc. I’ve been experimenting w it and it seems to do a little but I’m wondering if there’s something about the temples or the way hoodoo oils are typically anointed that give a power I’m missing by using alternative methods

There are several different ways to dress the body with oils, some do them based on their cultural traditions, others based on the common traditional hoodoo practice. Others do so based on religious tradition.

You are experimenting using it in ways not traditional (by acupuncture points), though nothing is wrong with that, it is a difference that you may experience based on that added element of the work.

I was taught to dress the body in two triangles based on the work, and using spot points based on the work.

Hoodoo oils are given power that comes from God and the spirit of the items in the oil that give it power, adding them to centers of power certainly can and could enhance them with proper prayer.

Some oils I think that would be of interest to you are: Power, Master Key, Psychic Vision.

Hi cyprianinspired,
You might look into methods used in various forms of Protestant Christianity in the USA on how anointing oils are more commonly used in Hoodoo. Of course that won't be the only influence, but it is a major one. Looking at the bible for how people were anointed would also be an indicator.
If you also read through Hoodoo In Theory and Practice and how to use Dressing oils can explain more
https://www.luckymojo.com/oils.html

Another guide is Legends of Herb, Incense and Oil magic can also illustrate more hoodoo aligned methods of working with dressing/condition/anointing oils.

cyprianinspired,

You can learn a lot about condition oils and the blending of them for a specific purpose though this page by Lucky Mojo. By ordering a Church blend you save money by having your unique blend together for your work or condition.

Hi cyprianinspired,

It is an interesting idea to use oils in acupressure. Lucky Mojo does make essential oils and massage oils like Oil of Gladness. The part you need to be careful of with condition oils is what they are made of and what they are for.

Rose of Crucifixion works well with depression, rub some on the back of your hands, should be just fine. Healing has a very floral smell, you can use it on your face and hands. Fear Not To Walk Over Evil and Cast Off Evil have mint smell, I like to use them on feet. Fiery Wall of Protection can burn, some people put it on arms, or feet but never the face. Do As I Say, I like to put on Adams apple area, it does have cinnamon and calamus smell, so there is a slight burn. I personally cannot stand the smell of calamus, so I am not going to use Controlling or Commanding. Aunt Sally's has a heavy anise smell. Many of the love oils have Jasmine smell, you can put them on the back of your neck, top of your private area pretty safely. Fast Luck is cinnamon, so don't put it on your privates. The money oils are safe to use on the hands, and are designed to be used on hands. Clarity can be used on the 3rd eye, as can Crown of Success, and High John, and Victory. I would not use High John on my hands because High john has a laxative quality, and while the formula is a blend it does have some High John pieces, and I am always worried about washing my hands. Van Van has a strong lemon cleaner smell, so I would not use that on my body, maybe in a shoe or something. Some people love the smell of Master Key, and bath in it.

Long story short, it depends on the oil and your tolerance to the odor. If you are doing acupressure, I would use healing or Doctor Jose Gregorio Hernandez. Something for a headache, maybe something in the mint area, like Cast Off Evil.

While you’ve already gotten several answers here, cyprianinspired, I just wanted to add one thing. I had some redness and a burning sensation when I used my anxiety blend on my face the first time (it’s listed on the Rootworker’s blend page and is a mix of clarity, tranquility, blessing, and healing) so now before I use it on my skin I dilute it to at least 50-50 with another carrier oil like jojoba oil. No more burning and redness!

You could also be sensitive to just one ingredient. I know from using beauty products that eucalyptus gives me migraines so if I knew a Lucky Mojo product contained eucalyptus, or I suspected it due to smell, I would likely try to work with an alternative product.

RisenRaven,

Wonderful advice! It is important to remember that the oil, the essential oils, the herbs also have physiological components to them, and to understand the safety of those items. Understanding your body, the allergies you may have, how they will respond on your body. Using a carrier oil is a good idea to make one more tolerable to the body.

Hello, I'm not sure where to start. I'm a guy still living with my parents, and I want a job and to move out. Also I want some romance (even just random hookups/casual relationships) in my life, haven't had any since before the pandemic :( So I was just wondering where it would be suggested I start.

Hi Brian92992,

Welcome to the forum! As you can see, this is a large online community, with tens of thousands of posts by thousands of members, dating back to 2003 as an e-list and to 2008 in the present forum format.

As a newcomer here, you will no doubt do a lot of exploring on your own, but here is the "form-letter link-dump" that will get you started on some important web page sources of free information about African-American folk-magic.

Conditions and how we can address them:
http://luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html

Here is some info on how the Lucky Mojo Forum is set up. It is divided into four major parts:

1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.

2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.

3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.

4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo, AIRR, and HP.

When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.

If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.

Within each board section, there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.

We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page.

Most important for newbies are these five common errors to avoid:

1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.

2) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other websites or from books.

3) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments about religions to which you may have previously been an adherent or comments in which you seek to falsely conflate any religion with the practice of evil sorcery.

4) Please do not start new topics; we have thousands of topic threads already in place.

5) Please do not quote people by using the copy-paste function; it wastes space.

If you need help, I or one of the many moderators and admins are happy to guide you.

brian92992 ,

Your post is under oils, there are many that can assist with this situation. Mr. Christopher sent you an outline of the forum and how you can navigate it for your cause.

If your question is "what oils can I use to increase physical relationships?" I can give some suggestions. The oils can be dressed on candles while praying over them, over a figural candle like a penis or vagina, a candle of a person, or a vigil candle on a petition of your desire. You may also consider adding other workings to increase your chances, one type I suggest is a mojo bag and dressing it with the oils. Here are some products to consider.
