Hello,
Weird question but only my first honey jar spell candle actually melted wax onto the jar, every candle I've done since then (only 4 total) has melted so cleanly that they've left no wax residue.
Is this symbolic of anything other than good quality candles? haha

Hello! I moved your post into the thread on honey jars. It looks like based on your question you are new to candle magic and likely candle divination. I say this because I would like to answer your question, and then direct you to some resources and materials that will help you learn and grow in your craft.

You asked if this is weird or means something, well the way a candle burns gives us divination into the spell and how it is going. There is an entire art of divination dedicated to this topic, it is also very important for a practitioner to understand because it will direct your actions in the preceding work. A clean burned candle that leaves no wax residue is very much a good sign, the candle used all of its energy, and it burned clean, this is an indication of success for the work you are doing.

You were also correct to ask if this is an indication of good quality candles, the answer is also yes, good candles will burn cleaner and better then crappy candles. People who burn many candles soon learn what is a sign to the work and what is just a crappy candle. If you buy the same candles, such as the Lucky Mojo candles you would get and expect the same quality, therefore after many burns you would see signs if it burned differently, then you know its a sign and not a quality issue.

Hello,
one year ago I made a generic sugar jar asking to find love. Three months after, I met a guy and after going out a few times, we decided to be exclusive.
After that, I made a new sugar jar specific for our relationship, and it has worked ever since. For this reason I do not want to open it now.
But my boyfriend he is very close with his feelings and emotions, and I would like him to be more open and less afraid to show how he feels.
Can I make a second sugar jar always on him, asking these things, and keep running both with candles on top?

Opening a honey Jar and using the honey to feed a lover is a traditional method of working the jar, after taking honey out, you replace it with more honey.

However, your question seems to be more about " how do I use a current honey jar to create the changes I want to see?"

You do not need to make a new jar if it is working for you, rather you should change your prayer and the condition oils you add to the candles. To open his emotions up, try adding a pink candle carved with your name and his name followed by a simple petition you want from him. Dress it with oils to influence your desire:

Hello LM.

I started a honey jar to sweeten an ex lover to me, I had already burned two chimes on top and they sealed up the sides of the lid and left small wax puddle on the top. While lighting and placing my third candle on top the wax that hardened on top of the lid the wax all moved but didn’t fall off, more so just loosened from the lid (maybe slick from oils I dressed the candles in? Should I keep going with this jar or start another? I know to some the wax “sealing” up the jar is considered good , this never happened to me while doing other jars tho . Just want to get some opinions . Tia

Hello Moonchild9858,

You could continue working this jar. It is entirely possible that the wax moved because of your condition oils as you suggested, in which case I would advise you to be more conservative in the amount of oil you use. A little goes a long way, and you don't want to overdress your candles and cause an inferno.

Keep going with your work and have confidence in a successful outcome.

I’m not sure if my post goes here or and Martha the dominator forum, but I recently started working with Martha and I’ve gotten some good signs from her and I would like to continue the work that I’m doing my question is I have a honey jar and recently acquired Martha dominators oil which I’ve been using to dress candles that go on top of the jar . I would like to know if there are any other Martha supplies or ingredients related to her that I can add to the actual inside of the jar to to add her Power to the spell? Would it be OK to open the jar and put some of the oil into the honey? I don’t intend to feed it to anybody. I do have her candle dressed with her oil burning and a separate petition underneath that candle. Should I just let Martha do her thing? Do you think adding a drop off her oil inside the jar would help or hurt my work? She’s a very powerful woman I can feel her, I feel more confident and strong since I’ve Begun establishing a relationship with her

A honey jar is a container spell that uses the sweetener to make the target nice and sweet to you. Normally Saints are not added to a honey jar, not to say you cannot, I just have not experienced this in the work. I do not think St. Martha needs to be added into a jar to do her thing, she does her thing in the spiritual realm and with the work you are doing. But yes you can open a jar and add items to the jar, though I would not add items that can spoil or water as it will spoil and cause the jar to be no good.

Hello everyone
Well, as I have already mentioned in other post, I am facing trouble with mother in law as well as sister in law... I am working on breaking up the relationship of mother son and sister brother...both women are trying to interfere in our marriage, they are demanding (like pushing us to drive 400 km to see them , while none of them have ever come visit our home , not even once) they make my husband feel guilty for several issues, they are kind of hostile towards me, ect)
So , work for them is on the way...
On the other hand I have noticed that lately, my husband and I have somehow lost our emotional bond, not having sex so often...
I feel that the arguments on the past mostly about his family have led us to this situation... also I think that I pay much if attention to the family matters, leaving aside the target which is our relationship. I have done nothing as far as spells concerns about his attention, love ect...
Would be appropriate to make a honey jar or something else?
Any suggestions please?

A honey jar is a wonderful spell to make you both sweet to one another and add herbs to increase passion and romance. You can also add Fire of Love oil to increase passion between you, use the bath crystals in the laundry of the sheets and dress the honey jar with red candles with the oil. I do think it is a smart idea for you to work on your personal relationship while breaking them up, draw him in while sending them away. A moving candle spell with a honey jar between the candles is a great idea to draw on the moving to one another aspect and the honey jar.

Hi Brujo_Sireno,

As I am sure you know the point of Honey Jar is to sweeten a person to you. If you are doing something other than sweetening that's not a honey jar, that's a shaker jar. Normally if you doing a jar on one person you put all you need, for example, "I want this man to be sweet on me, give me money, buy me a house, take care of my kids". So you would do a sweeter, Skull Cap, Queen Elizabeth Root, and Magnolia Leaves. Now if you doing "I want my boss to be nice to me, and sometimes I want to dominate him, and sometimes I want him to go the h on". I would do Honey Jar so he is always sweet. Then maybe do a shaker jar with Calamus, and a shaker jar with Poppy Seed, Salt, and Black Pepper.

Hi there again! Thanks for the advices you gave me.
I'm still working on my old sugar jar, dressing and carving candles with my new goals for the relationship.
A while ago I made a "Be faithful to me" shaker jar, and I saw amazing results.
Now I would like to make a "Move in with me" shaker jar,
any advice of what ingredient to put in it?
I was thinking licorice root, catnip and damiana for the jar and a little bit of sugar, dried roses and cinnamon into the petition paper.
I don't want to get married because I don't believe in marriage (he neither), but I would like him to move in with me and start a longlasting live together.

It would be ok to continue working on both the two shaker jars and the sugar jar too?

Shaker Jars, you only burn a candle to seal them. You can work 2 jars a the same time as long as they do not counteract one another. You can also hang them from trees or cat toys, and let nature shake them.

Hello
After lots of days of reading topics, I came to the conclusion that it would be preferable to start with an influence honey jar for my husband (than starting with more harsh practices like command etc)

Since I have a brand new bottle of influence oil from my last order, I would like to ask what else should I put inside the jar?

Also, can I make another jar for him ,for love with fire of love oil or can make one single jar mixing there both influence oil and love oils and may be something more?

Yes, you can mix love with influence in a honey jar it is a very traditional method of working. As for other things to put in the jar, Licorice root is used to influence, Lavender for both love, peace, and domination work, Cloves to hold him in place, Damiana to increase sex drive, Cinnamon to ignite passion, Honeysuckle to bind, Jezebel root to get his money, Magnolia leaf to keep him faithful.

What about personal concerns and petition?
Since it is also an influence honey jar should I put both his personal concerns and my personal concerns too?

Hi Crystalangel,

In the petition, you would write his name 9 times, turn to the right, write the command, turn to the right sign your name across that. Dab the oils in the 4 corners and middle. If you have some of his hair or nails, you can put it in the middle. If you want him to do as you say, fold the paper in half towards you, turn to the right fold again, and repeat. You would put that at the bottom of the jar, and you would then pick 3 -5 herbs in small amounts and add the to the jar. If you want quick results you would add sugar, if longer works honey. Do not shake it up. Pray over it, you can lid it and burn a purple candle that you added the oils. If you wish to add it to his food you do not need to burn a candle on it, but you can burn a candle near it.

Hello all,

I made a honey jar to bring some sweetness and reconciliation with guy we broke up around a month back. I was told about honey jar by a tarot reader. Now a day after I made the jar, I got a reading done and she expressed some doubt about the jar. I got its effects checked by 2 other readers and came to a conclusion that I made some mistake while making the jar and also now when it has created a doubt(pretty strong one) in my mind I want to carefully discard it so it doesn't bring in any negative or unwanted effects.
I haven't decided yet if I want to do this again but for now since I have doubts about this jar, I want to stop from any negative to happen.
I used just a paper - a thin ribbon to tie it and honey. Didn't seal the jar with any wax.
Will tearing off the paper and washing it down the sink with the ribbon and remaining honey be a good idea? I'll throw away the washed just don't intend to reuse it.

Please guide me.

Yes, you can throw away the honey jar, if you want to pour it down the sink you can, I would not save the petition.

To do a Return to me honey apply jar:

You will need...
A whole Apple
Honey
Large Jar the apple will fit in
Love Oil: Love Me, Return to Me, Fires of Love
Cinnamon
Star Anise
Rose (Dried or Fresh)
Coriander
Candle (red or pink, taper, or phallic)

1. Write your petition, write your loved name 3 times, turn the paper 90degrees write your name over it 3 times, turn to the right write your command, "Forgive all the anger, Return to Me, Love me"
2. Take the apple, and cut it into 3 parts standing up, so you have a round right side, core, and round left side.
3. Remove the core and set it aside.
4. Use the love oil on the petition, put some on your fingers and rub it in. Pray over to activate the oil.
5. Pour a small amount of honey on the left apple part. Pray, "May this honey make (lover name) sweet on me, be drawn to me"
6. Pour a small amount of honey on the right apple part. Pray, "May this honey make me sweet on (lover name), may it make me draw to him"
7. Put the petition on the left apple and put the right part on top of that so they make an "apple ball".
8. Put that in the jar. The apple does not have to stay together.
9. Put in the Cinnamon, pray "May this Cinnamon, ignite what embers of love (lovers name) has for me."
10. Put in the Star Anise, pray "May this Star Anise, be connected to (lovers name) mentally, emotionally, and bring him to me in the physical world"
11. Add the Rose, pray "May this Rose, protect our love from jinxes, curses, crosses, and jealous eyes, both known and unknown.
12. Coriander, pray "May this Coriander draw my lover back to me physically, mentally, emotionally"
13. Pour in the honey till it covers at least 1/2 way up the apple.
14. Lid the jar, and use the love oil to oil the candle. Put the candle on the lid and light it. (if you don't have a lid or using a bowl cover with a saucer)
15. Pray Psalms 42

Hello Mr Christopher ,

Thank you so much for the reply and big thank you for suggesting and explaining the Return to me honey apply jar. I think I will wait for a few days for my energies to calm down and then do this one.

I will discard the jar today. Will wash down everything in the sink including the petition paper along with the ribbon. Since paper was in direct contact with honey I think it will be easier for it to just disintegrate and wash down with water. Hope that is the correct way to discard the petition paper too. Do I say anything while doing this?

Somehow I have been getting negative vibes just thinking of it. And yesterday my room felt kinda negative , couldn't sleep in. I read everywhere that honey jar spells don't backfire or have any negative effect but it seems opposite to me, any ideas on why I have been feeling so off about it ?

Good Morning
Am doing a honey jar spell for my new employer. I did the petition paper with the names crossed over by my name I wrote my desire in a circle around it all. I put 2 cloves 2 all spice and some cinammon powder. I spoke my desire wrap the paper towards me stuck it in a jar of sugar n eat 3 scoops of sugar while saying my desire. I used a small yellow candle with bayberry oil to burn on the lid. I was wondering if there was another oil I could use for sweetening up or maybe influence oil? How about command or compel?

Yellow is the candle color for success, if the petition is to being career success then use yellow. Pay Me is often used on green candles to get the payment. You can alternate candle color on the jar depending on how you are working on the jar. You can also place candles around the honey jar, as helper candles, such as placing the honey jar in the middle, then make a triangle with three candles one each set with the different oil and corresponding candle color.

Hi Sunny1973,

The color of the oil suggests the color of the candle to use, Bossfix is red. Crown of Success can use yellow, gold, or purple. You can use tea lights if that is what you have. White works just as well as color candles.

I have been dating a guy for four years, we recently broke up and it was kind of a bad break up, he cheated on me and tried to turn everything around on me and make it seem like I was the bad guy in the whole situation. ( was a very hurtful situation) we eventually tried to be just friends and still would talk, but once I found out the person he was cheating with was 25 yrs younger than him and he was her supervisor he stopped talking to me all together!!!
I started a honey jar and I put a picture of us, his hair (forgot to add my hair)

I used deer tongue, balm of gilad, lavender, violet leaves, rosemary, Dixie love poweder as well as love me powder and I anointed the petition with come to oil, follow me boy, reconciliation, and crown of success.. I wanted to know can I add my hair to the jar and what days should I burn the candle on it and will a pink candle work? Did I use the correct herbs?
I was also thinking of doing a doll baby as well to get him to communicate with me.

This thread is on honey jars not other container spells. I also am confused on the purpose of the work, drunk on love but use rubbing alcohol? That's a POISON. Work in transportation, what is the purpose of this spell? I suggest not adding wine or alcohol to a honey jar and making it based on the custom and tradition.

The purpose of the spell is to get the target drunk in love with me but because I work in trucking DOT will not allow me with any alcohol but there's nothing really in the books about rubbing alcohol where I won't get in trouble with the law.

I have a question regarding a situation currently faced. Some background.... I dated a girl a year ago which lasted about a month before i stopped contact due to certain reasons. We spent alot of time together and had a great time and we really had some good emotional feelings towards eachother. 6 months ago she made contact with me and we chatted on and off but lately we have been chatting everyday and been out for dinner and coffee a few times over the past 2 months. I still have not lost any feelings towards her, if anything, they have got stronger and even on a soul and spiritual level. She has said she is very attracted to me and fond of me, having kissed a few times when we have seen eachother. The situation is, she has been dating another guy, stating that she does not have strong feelings towards him and can't see it lasting. She is still seeing him now and then and chats with him everyday. She has said to me she wants to take things slowly but cannot make a decision in the current period and cannot be or talk intimate whilst she is still seeing him, of which i am in agreement. He lives a good 2hrs away, so she does travel for the weekend to see him but not often. Obviously I want this girl in my life permanently and not just for a set period of time but for the rest of my days. She is afraid that i may cut contact again, with every right to feel that way, but I feel deep down in my soul that our lives are entangled and meant to be.
Would a honey jar be good to work with in this situation to bring her closer and be more affectionate? The only personal item i have of hers is a bath sponge she left at my house a year ago. Would this be suitable?

Honey jars are a container spell that sweetens two people together. In this case, you would be sweetening yourself and her. You also can add herbal items to honey such as rose petals for love, Catnip for passion and love, and Coriander seed for passion and love. Write your names out and use a photo of each of you. Hi,
Please help with these questions.

1. The sugar jar was touched by an outsider unintentionally? Should I dispose of it? How to dispose of it inconspicuously?
2. Since someone touched the jar, should I start a new jar?
3. I used white tea light candles in plastic containers (multi-colored containers). How do I dispose of these containers? I used to put LM oils/powders on these candles. Digging around my house is not an option.

Hi Humble,

Sugar jars/bowls are meant to be touched, you do not have to start over. Miss cat will tell you no plastic jars, they are bad for the environment and melt. Since you are already working the jar just leave it as is. If you want to trash the jar recycle it. If you mean you are done working it and wish to leave it someplace, the target home is always good, public park, or crossroads.

Many people confuse the rule of not touching or seeing a mojo with that of every other working. Which simply is not the case. Candle work is often seen, church services, rootworkers, etc have altars that many can see, Lucky Mojo has standing altars that can be seen by the public. There is no rule that seeing or touching a honey jar kills it, this is a rule to mojo's only.

1. No it does not need to be disposed of, nothing has happened to it, if it is still working keep it going.
2. Question 2 is the same as question 1.
3. Plastic and candles do not mix, as Mr. Christopher said, it can cause a fire and melt. I would move the contents of the jar into a glass container like a mason jar, which is made to withstand heat. Burning candles on top dressed with the proper oil and sachet powder is a traditional way of working the jar. You may look into altar candles that you place in a burner, these are preferred because you can carve the petition in a spiral around the candle, dress with the oil and burn ton op of the jar as you pray over it.

Some thing I've been really curious about: How do other people interpret the wicks of older candles and wax burning on their honey jars? Personally I take it the first time as the spell had a break through and is starting to take root; every time after that, it's just a further push and reinforcement of the spell.
