The AIRR Tech Team Holiday Skeleton Crew rallied today to create a web page on the Norse god Odin! As the leader of the Aesir, Odin is associated with war, battle, victory, death, wisdom, shamanism, magic, poetry, prophecy and the hunt. He is also well known for hanging for nine nights from Yggdrasil, the World Tree, while pierced by his own spear, in order to learn the meanings of the runes and gain power over the nine worlds. Ingeborg Svea Norden and Lara Rivera wrote the page's text, Catherine Yronwode contributed text and edited, Reverend James provided the beautiful vintage 19th century graphic, and Nagasiva Yronwode did proofreading and created the graphic announcement.
