I just ordered the kit and I have some questions. Can I do the spell in my house? Do I have to cast a protection spell before doing the intranquility spell? If so which protection spell is best?

Sorry for so many questions. I just want to make sure I do this right. I just got the kit and it says I need a brazier for the incense. Where do I get one quick? I need this answered before the moon starts waning again, else I'm gonna have to wait about 25 days to do the spell.

Can I use a tea light burner with a candle underneath? Or do I need the brazier with salt and charcoal to produce the smoke?

GreyFox --

A brazier is just any fireproof metal container in which one burns incense. You don't need to buy something special -- any thrift store will have a little brass bowl or some such thing. You do need to line it with sand (aquarium sand, beach sand, or builder's sand will do), and if it has a flat bottom and no legs, you will want a way to keep the hot bottom of it off your surface so as not to scorch it. Three pebbles will do the job.

I'm pretty scared right now. I did the Intranquil Spirit spell and right when I finished the prayer, this extremely powerful energy came over me and I got a MASSIVE surge of adrenaline and anxiety flowing throughout my body. Is that normal? I felt an extremely powerful presence and it was terrifying

I didnt do any protection work. Is that bad? What do I use for washing and cleansing? I'm just really afraid right now. That energy was so powerful, unlike anything I've felt in my life. It hit me like a sledgehammer to the chest at the exact moment that I said "Amen" and finished the prayer.

So I wrapped the leftover incense and powders in cloth after the first day of the spell was complete. Now I'm just waiting for the candle to burn down. The instructions are unclear on what to do after you do the spell, it just says bury everything. You let the candle burn for 7 days though or until its finished? Do I recite the prayer every day? I have the candle on my balcony, can I move it inside or do I have to leave it out there now? I have other people that live with me and I don't like them seeing it even though they already have. Also the candle keeps going out, I think it's because of the wind, but it's burning super clean.

I was feeling the side effects of the spell really hard the other night so I recited some prayers to Jesus and God for protection and the spirit stopped attacking me after that. I hope everything goes well from here on out

So my vigil candle is fully burned down now, I went to check on it outside and on the very last day of it burning down, the 7th day, it got struck by lightning! There is a pattern of tiny lightning bolts all over the glass. What does this mean? I am waiting to get a house plant to bury it.

I used a picture of my target underneath the candle even though the spell kit didnt say I had to but I've heard of other people doing it. So I buried the picture in the dirt with the rest of the stuff, is that what I was supposed to do?

Are you sure the candle was actually struck by lightning or was the pattern caused by something else? I'm not trying to be contrary I just find it unlikely that a glass vigil candle could be struck by lightning and not break.

And I can condone not following the spell kit's instructions, so I don't really have anything to say about the picture. It's probably OK but I don't know.

Just here to give an update on my story. The spell worked.

I had a vivid dream about her 2 nights ago where she told me she wanted to get back together with me. Then today, my ex contacted me out of nowhere almost exactly 2 months later after casting the spell after we hadn't talked for like 6 months and we talked for like 3 hours. She has a boyfriend though and says she's in love with him.

What work should I do from here?

Congratulations of accomplishing re-contact. Now, if she talked to you for 3 hours, it just might be that her new boyfriend is not quite measuring up to her dreams, so you do still have a chance.

I would set a time limit and now work for them to break up and for her to return to you.

On that page i have explained that the older Protestant hoodoo name for this type of work is Restless, and that Restless spells do not involve the Catholic images of God, the Devil, the Angels, or wandering spirits seen on the typical Tex-Mex border products called Intranquility, Intranquilo, or Intranquil Spirit.

As for timing -- your actual question -- that is up to you. Some folks work by the days of the week, signs of the moon, phases of the moon or other such time-markers, and some folks do not.

I would also like to advise you, personally, to deal respectfully with such evil spirits. Folks who say they are "going to do the IS" all too often get DONE by a spirit they have called up but cannot control.

Lesson Number One in working with spirits: Call them by their names.

I've been seeing someone casually since October. We live an hour apart and he is self employed, so arranging dates is hard. He lets so much time pass between texts and dates and has no sense of urgency toward me. He lives in a rural area and I know he cannot be easily playing the field from up there, but I know I am still not a high priority for him.

I made a honey jar 4 weeks ago and burn candles on it 2-4x/week using Fire of Love and Come to me oils, and menstrual blood. I've also done one of Miss Cat's call me spells. Since then he has become sweeter toward me and more passionate, but we see each other so infrequently it feels like nothing has changed. I get almost nothing from him in the in-between time and I am starting to resent the amount of effort I have put in. I'm wondering if I should just keep working this honey jar, or abandon it for IS. I'm jumping to IS because I'm hoping it will force some action out of him, whether that is to pursue me more seriously or just end things. I care for him so much that it is hard for me to sit around and wait on him like this.

That is quite the jump to go from sweet and love work to intranquility spirit. Many people come here and want to work with the spirit because they think it is all powerful and will chase their man home. It may do that, but it really a curse not a love spell. It is used to haunt him, curse him, cause trouble in his life till he is beat down, exhausted, point of giving up and dead, filled with fear and unhappiness that he comes to you. During the time of the spirit torturing the man you suppose to wait and let it work on his life and torture him, using a sweetener spell along with it is confusing to do. You certainly can try it but from what you are writing, " I care about him, Its hard for me to sit around", is not the words of a person who wants a curse. I would get a reading from AIRR and see whats going on with him, and what work to do to draw him closer and sooner.

You said you have been seeing this man casually for less than two months and have been doing work to increase his affection and passion. You are also seeing results of that work. Why now ask about abandoning those efforts when they are already working in your favor?

If you want to draw him in even closer, I suggest a moving candle spell, which you can read about here:

The Intranquil Spirit is a hell-bound entity that is very hard to control. To paraphrase Miss cat from her response to someone else, many people who say they want to "do" the Intranquil Spirit spell end up "getting done" by it. Very wise words indeed. This is not work for the uninitiated, and should be undertaken by experienced practitioners only.

I would also question the wisdom of unleashing hell on a casual relationship. When we do spellwork for love from a place of anxiety or impatience vs. calm judgement, we can be left unsuccessful because we may be demanding more from a person than they are prepared to offer.

Work the moving candle spell as a supplement to the work you are already doing and see what results you get from him.

Ok Miss Athena, I will try it. I have just been feeling used, due to the lack of communication and how much more effort I have put in than him at this point. He sometimes lets weeks go without a call or text, and he says he does this to his friends too, but it is really making it hard to form a bond and my feelings are already there. I will wait a bit and see how my honey jar turns out.

Have you considered getting a reading in this situation, the reader can tell whats going on and why, such as if their is another, if he is interested or what. Readings are an essential part of the work to make sure the work matches what is going on and what needs to change. Try adding some dominating items to your work like follow me boy and come to me.

Please be cautious about adding any dominating energies to your spellwork, unless you know for a fact that he responds to such forceful measures. Many people resist such work as it is a spiritual knock upside the head.

Follow Me Boy falls into this category, as it is formulated to make him follow you around like a puppy. Come to Me is far less coercive in nature.

I thank Miss Athena for pointing out that these were suggestions in place of the current work which you are contemplating to do. Perhaps getting a reading to see whats going on, and spell work based on that reading would be best. If wanting to turn him to you in a forceful manner working these items may be best applies than a spirt from hell. You have a man who is not acting thus you need to determine if its not interested, seeing others, not aggressive or his nature. Each would use a different working. I really think a reading would clarify and help you determine what items to purchase from LM.

Some people say yes, others say no. I would think a spirit like this is on him longer than till he speaks with you. From the customer testimony I have read on the forum, people have indicated how the person came back and was still worn down and beaten so it does seem the spirit stays. Good luck.

Intranquility is a difficult energy to deal with, as it is intended to disrupt someone's peace until they do your bidding. People can react differently to that kind of energy, so know what you are getting into before working in this way.

Since you see your target daily at work, why not try a softer approach to gain their attention and interest? Not judging, just suggesting an alternative course of action to draw them to you.

I have a problem that I'm kind of ashamed to discuss. I feel that only the negative spells that I do seem to work. I have been successful in break ups, job loss (a married coworker who was trying to get with my BF, I also had a candle lit at MIC to make her marriage stronger), and things like that. This is the only reason I thought about intranquility. Could it be that my negative emotions are stronger?

Different people find different kind of spells easier or have greater success with certain kinds of workings. It does not necessarily mean that their negative emotions are stronger if their success rate is higher with negative spells. It just means that they have a talent for them.

I wouldn't look too much into it. Be grateful that your spells have worked, and focus your energy on improving your skills in other areas as well.

Spell timing can be done in a variety of ways, including just doing the spell when you need the work to be done.

Some folks work by the waxing and waning of the moon, and some by the planetary days of the week. Monday is the day of the Moon, which is a good day for emotion-based work, or you could wait until Saturday, as this is a pretty dark working, and that's Saturn's day. But also remember, you can do any spell whenever your need arises. It really is up to you.

Well, if you are desiring your ex to come back to you, then making contact in the mundane world can definitely help. Unless you really were trolling, which might push her away, or make her feel upset toward you, instead of loving.

Your actions in the mundane world should back up the intention of your spell, basically. If you want someone back, don't needle them or push them away, right?

Thanks. I don’t think she knows it’s me doing it lol. I know her name on the message board she posted but she doesn’t know mines. I’m a bit bummed out cause I did a lot of love spells before and it seemed it worked a little. She made a post on Valentine’s Day saying it was hard remembering the plans she made with me. She also made a post asking for dating tips and saying she came out of a relationship. She made the recent post(I commented on) about talking to this new guy and the communication isn’t good between them, and how she thought about him for all of 2 weeks, and how she was wondering was things worth trying to save. They aren’t together but went on 2 dates only.

I’m a bit bummed about it, but I’m hoping the Intranquility spell works. I started today around 11 am eastern time. I hope to see signs she eventually misses me.

I would remember to keep the door open for her and that means no trolling...whether she knows it is you or not. This sends mixed signals to the target and can mess up the work. If your intentions are to get her back, they must always be very clear. I hope you did your research before you started this work. She may come back to you but not as a loving romantic partner. This is the risk you take with this spell.

This is my first time posting a question. I have a few questions about the IS spell. I just purchased the IS kit online. I have used LM’s products before. FANTASTIC!

I will be performing the spell on my estranged husband. I wanted to know about disposal of the encased candle itself. Can I also plant it inside of a plant for disposal? Or, is that only for the name paper? Also, regarding contact... if my husband initiates ANY contact (via email or anything other than in person), is the spell essentially over? Will the spell continue to work if I am not seeing him in person? I apologize if someone has asked this question before. I just would like a little guidance...

Welcome to the Lucky Mojo forum and thanks for making your first post!

If you are referring to the glass that encased the vigil candle, you would want to clean that out and recycle it. It's the wax remains of a candle spell that get buried as part of deploying the spell, not the glass itself.

As for contact with your estranged husband, I would say that any contact through any means would qualify so the spell would not proceed. You can read through the many posts in this topic as I believe this has already been asked and answered.

I don’t plan to do the IS spell, but I’ve read a lot about it recently and it definitely appears not for the faint hearted and sounds like it has been disastrous, has the potential to be extremely destructive and you better know what the hell you’re doing. Just out of curiosity, has anyone (especially you moderators and rootworkers with clients) ever seen a not-too-terrible (I guess that’s a good way of saying it) reunion with a lasting result? (Not necessarily happily ever after, but I think you can sense where I’m coming from)

You could very lightly dress the cand;e with the Intranquility sachet powder, being careful to not overload the candle as this could create a fire hazard. You would need to dress the candle with an oil first to help the powder stick, but once again use it very light hand.

MIss. Cat knows this work better than anyone you may solicit answers from on the forum. This is a spell that calls on a spirit wandering between earth and hell to torment a lover until they return to you. This is a curse, to cause them pain and anguish, to cause more suffering, ignore them and it tortures them more. Many believe that once you contact it ends, others think it does not stop until they fully return, you probably noticed the differences in the forum on opinions.

Pros: a damned spirit comes after the person and tortures them till they return to you, which may be good if you refuse to let go and want them no matter the cost.

Cons: You are actually cursing them with a spirit to torture him until submission and he comes back. No promise he stays with you after returning.

Experiences doing this work? I did this on a person once and they came back, they were messed up, they were confused, and then when we connected they then cheated and moved on, then I Cut and Cleared and got rid of them.

Will the spell still be effective if the target herself practices magick? She is perhaps even more developed in the occult than I myself am, as she is the one that got me into actually practicing. I know she does protection spells and rituals. Any love spell I tried to cast to have her return to me, only ended up backfiring and caused me more pain after the breakup and missing her more.

I have consulted with others, and with some of her actions I and others believe she actually casted a love spell on me but never released me when she moved on. She kind of put me on a shelf and consistently told me we would date again someday, just not right now. As she then moved on and is dating another man.

That is a great question. When you are working on a target who practices magic of any kind you will have to consider that they also know how to remove a spell, have protection, cleanse, and even reverse work. Love spells do not"backfire" in the traditional sense that people often ask, will this spell cause them to not love me (opposite), no it either works or dies. She is likely protected and the work is not reaching her.

Will this specific spell, the Intranquility spirit be effective if she is protected, it will likely prevent it from happening depending on how much protection she has and how in tune she is with magic. For example, if she dabbles, likes oil, wears a charm and holds crystals in her hands to meditate, she is not very protected and likely would. If she is a serious practitioner, burning candles, wearing charms, mojos, amulets, cleansing and doing work, she may be guarded that it will not effect her.

There are tricks around that, when a person is protected, one is hiding the work, such as using bay leaves, another is attacking their protections to break through them, you can also work Confusion to get her guard down.

If you think you have a love spell on you and it has not been removed, you need to use the Cut and Clear spell to remove her, the spell, the energy and open you to new love. It is a great spell to work if you need to cut a magical, emotional, physical connection.

Last night I finally did the spell, everything went well at first. I just had a few hiccups I wanted some insight with if that's okay. The first thing is I lit the incense first, I only later saw that lighting the incense was at a later step. I also had an issue at first with the candle. I dressed the candle with the proper oils, but I think I added too much at first. The wick on the candle I think broke and was really short. The flame whimpered out shortly after the spell was cast and was tunneling. I relit the candle and put some aluminum foil around it to help alleviate the tunneling, and poured some of the hot wax out to give the wick more room. I then relit more incense and repeated the spell mantra, the candle has been burning nonstop since last night with no issues.

I wanted to know if this hiccup with the candle will hinder the spell at all? Although I had this hiccup, I did feel allot of energy. I also lit 6 black candles on my altar during the casting. I felt an extreme sense that things were done right when I went to bed later. And could see the candle still lit, hard to describe the feeling it gave to still see the candle while drifting off to sleep.

Lighting the incense at a certain time is a matter of preference, some people light it first, some light it mid, some later, some keep it going the whole time.

The pour of the oil, the wick, the tunnel, the candle going out all combined with hiccups does indicate obstacles in the work. What you ended up doing is what many of us do is work the candle, rather than accept the candle you adjusted the work to make it happen.

I would keep the work going and set another candle after this one burns out to back up the work.
