It's been awhile since I've last posted. Reason being is partly because halfway through working my second skull candle, I realized I didn't really care as much as I thought I did about getting my ex back. I realized how badly she treated me, but with that being said I kept going with my plan and finished it yesterday.

After working spells on her for awhile, my culmination was to return things to her. I sent her back a teddy bear of hers, a book I had of hers, a key to her place, and a short letter I wrote to her. I tricked every single item. I took a simple spray bottle and filled it with some water that rolled off of me in the shower; I also put a few drops of 6 oils into it (love me, return to me, reconciliation, follow me girl, I dominate my woman, and bend over). I sprayed everything with that water/oil mix. The letter and book I used sachet powder on and tricked them. I burned a quick petition paper that was 5 spotted with those 6 oils and ran every item through the smoke like a makeshift incense. The key and teddy bear I directly rubbed oil into. Finally the box I sprayed with the mix and covered in powder, because she has cats and will likely give them the box to play with; meaning the cats will end up with the tricks on them constantly transferring them to her.

I want to cross someone up. I'm not so sure about laying a dirt/dust/powder mixture on the ground or doorknob of my target's home because my target has an attached garage in which the vehicle is always parked, so they enter their home through the garage, which I obviously don't have access to. The home is also a condominium, therefore, exterior maintenance is taken care of, so they aren't very likely to come in contact with something on their stoop, walkway or lawn. However, if I were to attempt this, I would have to state my intention very quietly since I will have to do this at night. It is a quiet complex, and my target also has a loud, yapper of a dog that will bark at anything. So my first question is, does it matter how quiet I state my intention, even if I have to whisper it? Secondly, I thought about mailing something anonymously, such as a fixed bogus get rich quick opportunity or a bogus chain letter without a return address and addressed specifically to the target so that they will likely open the envelope. The target will likely discard the inside contents, but as long as they've been in physical contact with it, it should affect them, right?

Hi crazycatlady,

If you have trouble laying tricks at your target's home, then mailing something to them will work. The point is to get them in contact with the powder. If you are sending mail, do not use oil as it stains paper. Use powder, and only a light dusting so it is undetectable.

How have you dealt with laying tricks on property that have surveillance cameras? The porch of the house I’d like to trick has a camera facing the porch. I can however access both sides of the house and property, but feel it would be less effective because the target doesn’t walk there much if at all.

Any creative ideas?

So I'm starting to see movement on one of my targets. Yay! However, I want to also influence his family to also move away from the girl he is with, meaning I'd like to sever all the connections back to her so that she doesn't have a reason to linger around. I feel like they push the relationship on him because he is getting older and want to see him married and don't really consider if he is fulfilled.

I have all of their addresses and would like to dress just random junk mail or pamphlets to them, so each of them will get a letter. How should I dress them? My ultimate goal is for each of them to not like the girl and actively fight with her.

I do have some breakup products. I may need to buy inflammatory confusion or something else. Let me know your thoughts. I'm sort of moving away from candle work at this time because of my living situation at the moment makes it complicated. But I can lay tricks and work with my crystals.

Cursing money is not much different than tricking or cursing any object and giving it to someone. Get a copy of the book "Cursing and Crissing" by Miss Aida, and have at it!

Cursing money specifically to bring financial ruin is an overlap of both cursing objects and casting urses for money-loss.

Handing a gift of an empty wallet or empty purse is a mild curse on them for "no money. Putting in cursed money is one step harsher.

Read this thread from the beginning for some ideas. The book "Trolldom"' by Johannes Gardback is also recommended.

Hello Blackcatt0123,

If you have security cameras, you may be confined to laying tricks in the bathroom, where I assume there aren't any cameras. You could dress the door handle with a bit of Banishing oil and pray that that person will be banished. You could also do that to the stall handles in the bathroom.

Hmmmmm -- I have a situation that is not a love situation (a nasty neighbor issue), but this is giving me lots of ideas. This is a man and woman. Biggest problem is the guy -- 10 years of issues with him. I'll spare you the details. The woman he lives with is the real problem. If I can get rid of her, I'll get rid of him, especially if she sells the house. She works for a hospice, and I like the idea of sending her a crossed Teddy, thanking her for all the great work she does. Maybe, so it doesn't look too obvious, I could send one to each of the people on the 'grief team', so it looks like they come from someone who just appreciates what they do. hmmmmm ....

I would not recommend dressing the cards with oils. It is probable that the oils will leave residue and oil stains. Instead, I would consider dusting, sprinkling, or blowing sachet powders onto them. You would use any sachet powder formula that is appropriate to your desire... for instance, if you parted on bad terms and want to patch things up you would use Lucky Mojo Brand "Reconciliation" or "Return To Me".

As for the birthday gifts, it would depend on what they are how you would want to dress them.

I like the idea of blowing or dusting sachet powders on greeting cards and i do that often.

The only negative about blowing or dusting powders on a board game would be if it was boxed and the box was covered with clear, shiny plastic film -- the powder would show up against that, so go very lightly.

Be sure to pray or state your petition as you work. Psalms 45 is traditional for this kind of work.

Yes, you may wear Return To Me oil when you meet your ex, but that is not a "sneaky trick" as we would define that term and i am asking you (again) to not hijack the topic of a named thread.

Myy favorite method is to blow the powders onto them from a distance of about 1 to 2 feet. Do the same with the wrapping paper if you intend to use some then wrap it up and you'll be the sneakiest of the sneaky haha

You can dab some oil on a board game if the board is not made of chipboard or covered with paper. In fact, I'd do it in a 5 spot pattern: each corner of the board and on smack dab in the middle.

If the game comes in plastic wrapping, you could open the box and VERY lightly sprinkle the powders or lightly oil the game pieces. -- but that might be noticed.

Yes you can, dust them lightly as you pray your petition and heart felt prayer over it. Then draw your finger nails in it making snake lines. tap off the extra. Take a spiritual bath and use a cup of the water to wet the seal of the envelope. You can sprinkle at his door step, many people mix with local dirt so it is not noticeable.

It's been a long time since I've posted here but I've practiced Hoodoo on and off for several years now, with varying degrees of success. I'm still yet to figure out why some things work so much better than others.

I was hoping for a little clarity on an issue with laying sneaky tricks or anointing objects or a person.

1. I've believed through all that I've read that you need to state your intent out loud. This has held me back in several situations as that's often impossible to do. There are times when you cannot state your intent while trying transfer some oil onto a door handle in the office or sprinkle some powder onto your co-workers jacket for example. I work in a busy place and people are always around.

2. Then I read somewhere on here about using the oils in massage and silently stating your intent. Does that mean simply thinking about your intent? I'd probably focus on my intentions and state them over the oil or powders at home before I got into work and then apply them to various places silently, if that would work?

1. That is crazy. If you had to say every prayer out loud that would stop people praying! Whoever told you that was waaaaaaay off base.

2. Silently stating an intention or making a prayer (i notice that you left praying out of both your exanmples, and i hope you understand that prayer and supplication are equal to demands in the world of magic) is not the same as "thinking about" something. I can "think about" dinner, but unless i address or my dear husband or do it myself, there will be no dinner. "Honey, can you cook tonight" is not a demand or intention, but it is a supplication. "May the one who touches this be compelled to tell the truth" is not an "intention" either -- it is a supplication to the universe, God, or whomever hears it, including the person you intend to affect. Silent supplications and petitions to divine spirits or to the inner spirit of someone you love (or hate, or want something from) are more than mere "thinking about" it.

I've had far more success with using oils and powders for targets to come into contact with, or by wearing them than anything else so this is by far my favourite thing to do.

For the new year I'm planning to take some yellow votive candles and dress them with herbs - Cloves, Rose Petals, Bayberry, Basil and Mint, and Attraction, Good Luck and Crown of Success oils, and give them to friends for luck, health and success in the new year.

One of the friends is someone I'd like to be closer friends with (not romantic) and also have him mentor me (already does, but more). We share the same interests and I know this is something he'd truly love.
Is there a way to trick a gift that's already meant to draw good things for him, to draw him to me?

But I was wondering regarding this specifically - a votive candle which will already be anointed and dressed (because the idea of the gift is it being so) - but also it have "ulterior motives" I suppose?

If I put Attraction on it for the sake of drawing luck and success to the friend who lights it, can I also have Attraction on it to draw the friends themselves to me, is basically what I mean? The votive will be inside a glass so maybe it should only be the glass I "trick"?

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great Friday! I have a quick question about laying tricks. My target just recently got a new house and I found this sign online that I am going to buy for him with a quote that we often tell each other. I plan on lightly dusting it with powders, placing it back in the box that it arrives in and maybe putting a small note inside of the box that also has powders on it. My question is in regards to mixing powders and oils.. I would guess that mixing the oil would make the powders clumpy, but would it be possible to mix attraction or kiss me now powder with follow me Boy oil, let it set for a bit and then grind it back into a powder so that it’s not clumpy?
I know that oils tend to show on paper, but would they be noticeable on a frame? My goal is friends with benefits. We already have the friends part down lol, but the benefits aren’t happening. Like earlier this week he spoke about us having sex, I was all for it and told him to just give me a day that he’s available & then the next morning he text me giving me a night. We went out to dinner and fooled around in the movie theater, but no sex. Not even a kiss. Just him playing under my dress and me playing with him during a few minutes of the movie and then afterwards he just kept his hand on my knee the whole time for the rest of the movie.. So I want to heat things up between us. I also haven’t heard from him since we went out, but that’s not un-normal. Sometimes he disappears for a couple days. I’m not looking for a relationship with him, not yet at least... I definitely want the sex though.. When I dust the items or put oil on them, what should I say as my prayer/petition? Curiouslilthing -

Fatty oils, such as that of the carrier oil, do not tend to dry out, even when mixed with something dry. Depending on how much oil you added to the powdered ingredients, after "grinding out the clumps" you may end up with a paste.

I would suggest just blending your powdered ingredients (Lucky Mojo also sells Follow Me Boy Sachet Powder) and maybe dusting the inside of the frame, then adding the picture back so that the powders (and possibly your petition as well) will be behind the paper in the frame.

Friends with benefits can be a little different in meaning depending on who you talk to and their relationship boundaries. So as far as what your petition I can't tell you exactly what do say/write but I would write out exactly what you expect in the relationship with him. Speak these expectations while fixing the frame and photo with your powders.

He may not be in direct contact with the powders, but he will be in contact with the picture frame. Hiding your petition and powders inside "fixes" the picture fame itself. So when he look at it, touches it, etc he will think of you fondly.

I'm almost certain in the process you'll also probably get powder elsewhere on the outside of the frame as well anyway. Just like when we dress papers with powders, we shake off the excess. There is very little (if any depending on the finish of the paper) actually left on the paper. You'll do the same with the frame, petition, and quote-paper.

You wouldn't wanna give him a dusty looking frame anyhow. He would probably then clean it, wiping off what you done anyway.

Hi,

I'm working on a target to get him to split up with his girlfriend and come my way. So far I've had lots of movement but I'm not where I want to be yet.

My target asked me to pick up some books for him, which I've done and this obviously provides me with an opportunity since he will take them to his home. So the question is, do I trick them all to cause love or should I dust one book with break up & inflammatory confusion powder? Giving both to him together, on separate books, would that be a problem?

I've also read on here about providing a 'magical link' in the targets home with items. How is that done and what is this for? What further work could be done with such a link? I couldn't find much detail about that.

Is there a particular book among them that he is likely to share with the person he's involved with? If so, then trick that so they both can come in contact with your spell. Otherwise you can choose which goal you want to work with, one or the other or a mix of both. Choice is yours. Just don't mix the products together on one book.

Getting that energy into his location is important, and that is what is referred to as a magical link. You get your spell into his home, where he can come in contact with it. That is a very powerful and traditional way to work. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I am adept at the digital trends, here are a few approaches that I see potentially averting disaster and keeping you in the clear. Some of these work well in the mundane too.

I like to pay it forward, just out of gratitude that I know they got me covered and just to be honorable on my word.

• (Ceremonial Magick) Commission a servitor/thoughtform entity and give it the specific directives to protect/ward off anyone that uses any photo of you past or present, with ill intent.

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding my candle for the Triple Strength Come To Me Mojo Hand which I have been working on.

The situation is that when I was relighting my candle earlier today, I carelessly dropped the lighter and somehow could not be able to retrieve it. Not being able to find any spare matches or lighter get me quite nervous and I ended up taking the candle to the kitchen to light it up with the stove fire. My brother was in the living room when I passed by...I know burning candles is supposed to be done in secret but I have no choice at that moment.

So after I have finished the ritual (done in my room with myself only), I asked my brother if he saw anything and he said he just saw me holding a lit candle. He did not know about the rootwork and he didnt asked anything further about it. ( I know him well and he is never a nosy person so I trust that he didnt paid much attention nor interest at all).

But I am worrying that now with the candle being seen by my brother, will it affect my spell or is my spell completely ruined? I seriously hope not...I swear I will never allow this to happen... Thanks for your kind help

No worries, hon! Candles do not have to be burned in secret at all. It's not any kind of rule, but rather some folks prefer to keep their candle spells secret because they have people in their life who wouldn't approve or would make their lives difficult. In fact, a nice sneaky trick is to fix a candle, then give it to your target to light in their own home as a gift.

Mojo bags are generally meant to be kept out of sight, but that's mainly because if another person touches your mojo, it will kill it. But as for candles, you are a-okay.

You could dust it with attraction items, another option, which is what I would do, is place it by the work you are doing to attract the person since they touched it and it is personal to you and meaningful. Then write a card and send it back to the person thanking them, dust it with love powder before sending it.

Dressing double crossed items is an old trick used in Hoodoo to give what seems as a gift to a person but is really a trojan horse to send away or curse them. This can be done by sending a tricked gift, tricked letter, or even giving a mojo which is made to harm them but told to be a blessing to the person.

Some old school tricks include: stuffing a doll with cursing items, dressing a letter or card with crossing powder, making a Hot Foot mojo or Cursing mojo and telling them its for blessings. Well, Sneaky Tricks is off to the printers and will soon be in your hands as you prepare to enjoy the 2023 Hoodoo Heritage Festival (tickets still available!)

Anyway, I certainly am not going to lay aside my favorite magical subject just because the book is finished, so today I wish to talk up another favorite thing: glitter.

It's one of the easiest ways to color-code your candle and lamp work (purple for mastery, gold for money and success, red for love, etc.). If you can't find the right color candle, just strew a little of the right color glitter across the top. Or decorate an "ordinary" (but secretly fixed) decorative candle with the right color glitter and whatever else you like. You can do the same to a vase and put a dressed tea light in it (and don't forget you can dress electric tea lights with oils, too).

Now, let's stretch our brains a little bit. Shiny, reflective glitter is essentially a myriad of tiny mirrors -- just the thing for protective work! Next time you want a new photo for a social media profile, wear something glittery or shiny to bounce back jealous looks or the evil eye.
