Hello again
Well ,Iam planning to make today my first honey jar for my husband...the purpose is to keep him sweet to me, always in love and commited to our marriage.
(I face problems with my in laws, so spells are on the way too to make them fight and separate so there is one reason plus for keeping him sweet to me and hostile towards them)

So, what I intent to put in:

A petition with his name written 3 times, turn clockwise then cross my name three times and then make a circle in cursive writing.
Iam planning to write something simple...would a statement like love and happiness be ok?

Dress the petition on five spot with fire of love oil and chupparosa oil

Inside the petition I will place:
his photo and personal concerns
Deer's tongue for sweet words
LM love herbs mixture
Honeysuckle for commited love or lovage?
What do you think???

I will fold the packet towards me and enclose all herbs and personal concerns inside, then put it in honey jar

I have a question about making the packet:
How do I prevent the herbs etc plain inside the honey
Is there any way of keeping it closed?

crystalangel ,

Writing the petition in a simple phrase is common, I would practice a few times on scrap paper till you get it right. An easy one is Lovemestaywithme, repeated over and over.

I like your blend of herbs, pray over them first, call on the spirit of the herbs and ask them to lend to your work, the spiritual power within them, tell them how they assist in the work. Then add them. To keep it closed, you can take red string and tie it like you would package a cake with string.

Burn candles on the jar Mon-Wed-Fri, and pray over the jar as you do this, asking for love and sweetness from him. You can also read a chapter of Songs of Solomon each day over it as you burn the candles. Another great method is reading Psalms 23 and 32 to reconcile and bring peace and happiness.

You can use the honey from the jar to cook for him, add more to the jar when you take it out.

Hello crystalangel,

Your plan generally sounds good.

Rather than a single photo of your husband, I would use one of you both as a happy couple. This will help direct the sweetness of the spell towards your relationship as a whole.

Hooneysuckle is a good choice for conjugal relations.

Don't worry about the herbs coming loose from your petition packet. It won't affect the spell. If you do wish to keep the packet together, you can bind it with red or pink thread wound around it and tied shut.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi Crystalangel,

The petition sounds fine. The Love Herbs Mixture https://www.herbmagic.com/love-herbs-mixture.html, already has Deers Tongue, Rose, Damiana, and Juniper Berries. If you have Coriander/ Cilantro that is for marriage work if you wanted to add something. If you have either "Paper in My Shoe" https://www.luckymojo.com/paperinmyshoe.html, or "The Red Folder" https://www.luckymojo.com/theredfolder.html (page 18), which has the seed packet instructions, you can tape that shut.

Best of luck,

Thank you so much all!!!

JayDee, could you please help me where can I find Song of Solomon???

Miss Athena great advice!
So, using a photo of us as a happy couple will sweet the whole relationship...and him especially? Because I want him be sweet to while working his relationship with his family with fight spells inflammatory confusion etc,so I want him sweet to me and hostile with them.

Mr.Christopher, so I can use the LM herbs only?
Otherwise I am thinking LM love mix herbs, honeysuckle and lovage
Would that be ok? Because I don't have coriander for now

crystalangel,

Songs of Solomon are located in the Old Testament of the Bible. It is really a love poem from King David.

The photo of you two is what is sweetened not the family. Dont add anyone you do not want sweetened in the spell. This spell will sweeten you and him together, and would not effect his family.

You have many options with the herbs you have, there is no right or wrong answer, some people will add all ,other may add less. I do like the Lucky Mojo Love Herb blend which has 9 love oils on it as well.

You can also do simple divination with a pendulum and ask about adding each herb.

Hi Crystalangel,

Love Herb Mixture is very strong stuff, if Spirit is telling you to add Honeysuckle and Lovage to that mix, that is perfectly ok.

Best of luck,

Last question for the spell: if I finally use photo with both of us should I put his personal concerns and mines too?

crystalangel ,

Normally when you doing a honey jar you add both of your concerns, this will make you and him sweetened to one another.

You can learn about honey jars from this Lucky Mojo book, Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells: https://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoohoneyan ... pells.html

So, I was listening to last week's episode about Influence vs Domination and either Miss Cat or Conjureman mentioned a jar of honey with deer's tongue, licorice and calamus for influential speech. I was wondering if there was any way to incorporate bay leaves and/or Solomon's seal to not only have influential speech, but give good advice.

The Mango Witch ,

Absolutely you can add those items to a jar like this to Absolutely speech and to to make good wise decisions. Add the herbs to the petition paper as you pray asking for that specific purpose of each herb to bring its power to the work.

Lucky Mojo carries a variety of Honey Jar kits, one similar to your request is the King Solomon Honey Jar.

Would the honey still be edible with peach leaves and Solomon’s seal added?

The Mango Witch,

Yes, unless they have allergies. In a Honey Jar where you plan to use the honey to use in food, wrap the items tight into the petition paper, if needed tie it together with red string, then put in the jar. This contains the herbs in the packet while you use the honey. You can also use pins, safety pins, and even fish hooks. Fish hooks iv seen used in a love working to "catch" a person.

The Mango Witch,

Peach leaves, twigs, and seeds contain cyanide and are not safe to eat.

Solomon Seal root is not toxic, in small quantities, but the berries and leaves are outright poisonous.

This is why i prepare honey jars with herbs and roots in small quantities in a paper petition packet -- to keep them separate from the honey.

I’ll put the herbs into a packet like normal, but bind it in thread and maybe some aluminum foil to make sure nothing leaks out. Got it.

The Mang Witch,

I also recommend sugar jars if using inedible or toxic herbs as they will not "leak" or osmose into the sweetener in the way that they might with liquid honey.

Also consider using non-toxic herbs only.

Sugar wouldn’t definitely be preferred for morning tea. 🫖☕️

The Mango Witch,

Then it would be best to adhere to Miss Cats' advice and look up each herb and make sure there is no toxicity to them when making the jar.

A great question would be, "how do I use these other products and herbs in a jar if I want to also use it to feed to my target?"

You can take the candle you are working, dress it with the oil related to the work, then roll it in sachet powder and/or ground up herbs relating to the work. In this situation if the herbs you want to use peach leaves, you can powder them, dress the candle in the oil, then roll it in the herbs and burn it on the jar.

I was going to change the herbs to deer’s tongue, sage, calamus and licorice in an herb packet in a jar of sugar for wise and influential speech for myself, then use the sugar for my morning tea.

The Mango Witch --

That is good thinking -- adapting your herb list to the purpose of the spell, the method of the spell, and your interaction with the herbs in the spell.

By the way, your earlier choices, Peach Tree Leaves and Solomon Seal Root, while not suitable for a honey or sugar jar from which you will eat, could be used to dress candles or in a hand wash, without ingesting. Also, you could take the edible herbs plus the non-edible herbs and put them into a small mojo hand to carry on your person.

Hi! I have quick Honey Jar question. Working on something regarding a big corporation. If the names have changed within the corporation would I need to start over (although it's been more than a year!) with a brand new jar with new names written and pictures or not. Curious. Or if I do start again (given that even executives are getting moved in and moved out at record speed) should I just make a new jar on the corporation itself? Can you do that or should it really be a person within the corporation? Seeking to create a special partnership with this corporation. Would appreciate the advice. Thank you!!

Hello NYStarchild,

In this case, I would re-do the jar but instead of naming individual employees, I would identify them by their functional role within the corporation, such as CEO, Chief Marketing Officer, etc. That way, as executives come and go, and fill then re-fill these roles, you will still have those functional occupants covered.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Many thanks, Miss Athena! Will do, but again, this means no actual pictures, then. Guess that's ok. Just the word "CEO," for example? Or how about a picture of the LOGO of the corporation!! Getting a good feeling on this alternative approach. Your thoughts?! Thank you.

Hello NYStarchild,

Yes, you could use the corporate logo as the "picture" of the company. I have had success with this approach for my clients in the past. Including words like "current CEO, CFO, etc." depending on how their executive class is structured would make sense. That way, the current occupant of those roles would be included in your spell.

Good luck!

I did a search - so apologies if this has already been brought up but I did not find anything.

What do we think about using hot honey in honey jars? My initial thought is it would speed up the work, or in love jars, have the potential to "heat up" the love. But I wanted thoughts from others before making an attempt. Thanks!

Hello, Cheesus, and thanks for joining our forum.

I'm not sure that i can speak for a collective "we" here. I am simply a scholar and teacher of folk magic, specifically hoodoo. Hoodoo is a living practice and it does change and adapt to new sociological and technological developments, but the use of honey as a sweetener is so old and so rural that there is no pressure on practitioners to change their old methodologies.

Honey is just perfect the way it is. As long as it is kept clean in a non-reactive container such as glass, it never degrades -- although it may crystalize.

When and if honey crystalizes and loses its fluidity, some people could care less -- it is just more convenient to use in measured cooking recipes as a semi-solid. Magically speaking, when and if honey crystalizes during a honey jar spell, many people say that this is a sign that the work is sealed.

Other people prefer to warm crystalized honey to return it to a fluid consistency -- for instance to pour over pancakes. From this simple kitchen-based way of working with honey, the idea has developed of warming honey jars used in magic. One way this is done is to place 3 or 4 tea lights around the honey jar in a triangle or square. This is a magical or symbolical warming "to heat up the spell." The honey is not cooked.

Your question is about beginning a spell with "hot honey," which is not traditional. You do not explain your proposed heating method, so i will comment on a few ideas that come to mind:

* If the honey were to be heated in a sauce pan over a direct flame, you would risk scorching it. You would altar its natural consistency for no reason. Ugh.

*If you were a good chef and heated your honey in a double boiler, i would consider that a waste of time and quite a clean-up mess. Rubber spatula to the rescue .. but why go there?

* If you had your honey in a small glass jar and placed the jar in a water bath or bain-marie, and heated the water, i would advise you to be sure you were using a glass container suitable for heating, like a small Mason jar. But again, why?

I see no point in any of these side-trips into kitchen-craft before starting the spell, because, as i said above, "Honey is just perfect the way it is." In other words, i would not pre-warm, heat, or cook my honey before performing a honey jar spell.

If i had a strong personal preference for fluid honey to the extent that i disliked crystalized honey, i would warm any possibly crystalized honey with tea lights AFTER it crystalized (if it ever did) -- but i have no such antipathy and therefore i have personally never done this. Instead, i accept any possible crystalization of honey as a sealing of the spell. In fact, on our family altar my husband and i have a half-pint jar of honey that has been crystalized for 25 years. Our love is sealed.

There are indeed spells that involve warming, cooking, and dissolving honey into hot water in preparation to the work, but they are not honey jar spells. They include spells of food magic and spiritual bathing. See these books for some great recipes:

* Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells by Deacon Millett
* Hoodoo Food! the the Ladies Auxiliary of Missionary Independent Spiritual Church

Good luck with your work.

Hey Cat thanks for the response. Sorry, what I meant by "hot honey" was spicy honey, which a relatively new commodity. Heat infused, not warm. Hope that makes more sense.

Cheesus ,

Hot honey, honey made with herbs and spices or even peppers is not a new concept. To heat up love work we often add herbs like cinnamon as it has heat, or ginger, both are known to heat up love affairs. Hot peppers would not be frequented because it is more common to be used in break up work, inflammatory confusion, work created to make people fight.

Cheesus,

Thanks for explaining that you meant culinary heat and not stove heat.

There are sweet-warm spices, like cinnamon, cloves, and ginger, which work very well in honey for money spells, and also in love.

Red chili peppers and black peppercorns (or their ground up or extracted derivatives) are painful, used in spells to hot foot people or break up couples, and are not suitable for use in love spells except if you are a sadist working on love with a masochist.

Of course, if you are a sadist, dominator, or dominatrix and have a masochist or a submissive for a lover, you could try it. The result would be a form or romantic of sexual torture, which some people enjoy and seek out. However, those people are few and far between and i would not use red pepper or black pepper in a honey jar without the consent of the one i was working on. The results would be like unto a curse if not chosen.

Side-effects may include genital inflammation and pain, conflicted feelings of love and a desire to leave town and get far away, or a catastrophic break-up.

Candied ginger is such a wonderful choice for a Fires of Love honey jar! :)

Alright y'all I have a question. I have a client that wants to keep a hook up around and keep him as an FWB. I was thinking of making a jar with cubebs, cardamom, cloves, damiana, catnip, licorice and calamus, maybe Sampson Snake Root and safflower. I was going to write the petition paper, place the herbs on it, then take his underwear with semen and wrap that around it and place the whole thing in a jar of Karo Syrup or honey. Any thoughts or advice?

The Mango Witch ,

The spell sounds solid, if it is a gay client and I ask because of the offer of Safflower which is often used to get a male gay lover.

https://www.herbmagic.com/safflower.html

You can add oils like Stay with Me, mixed with Fire of Love and Q oil (if gay) to keep the man coming back for a nice fun experience.

Fire of Love:https://www.luckymojo.com/products-fire-of-love.html

Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me please as I am feeling quite distraught at the moment.

I was seeing someone for the last 7 months and things were absolutely amazing. The connection was so strong and we initially started off not looking for anything serious and then 7 months later after going with the flow and seeing where things went we realised that we were falling hard for one another and basically behaving like me were in a relationship. Now unfortunately he was in a place of having not much trust in relationships and committing fully as he was afraid of getting hurt and despite my past hurts I decided to let my guards down and be vulnerable and allow this to unravel.

I had an upcoming holiday where I was going away for a month and I had a lot of anxiety around it and needed reassurance which he assured me. Just before I left for my holiday him and I had a discussion about some things that were troubling me as I said we not in a fully committed relationship and we ended up revealing that we both loved one another but again he still had his fears etc. fast forward I went on my holiday and he was calling and messaging and FaceTiming me everyday and so I felt at ease and then in the second week of my holiday some things happened and suddenly a complete 180 happened and we were suddenly not in a good predicament and I found myself in a position of having to fight for the situation-ship that we had to continue. He had a lot of confusion and I had a lot of hurt and anxiety around it.. we decided to continue communicating and have a proper discussion when I returned but that was obviously proving difficult for me being far away and having no control over myself or the situation just drove me further into anxiety etc.

I decided to reach out to a root worker through lucky mojo to get a reading and hopefully have some assistance with some work I wanted done to help with the situation. The root worker did her reading and in it regarding him she told me that we did have a great connection and that he needed to do some work on himself to get to where he needed to be for basically us to be where we were before this whole thing happened. As for the root work she then told me she wasn’t taking on any work atm but suggested I do a honey jar for the situation and provided me a link to here.

I ended up ordering two kits which I am still waiting on but because of the situation at hand I decided to last week create one from home using this forum and info online (I had last tried to make one 10+ years ago but couldn’t remember exactly how).. now I made the jar up to the best of my ability. Unfortunately I didn’t have any specific stuff of his I could add into it but I did my petition and the honey and herbs and the pink candle on top and said my prayers. Unfortunately the next day I had to fly away to work for a week as my work schedule is often one week home one week away.. so obviously not thinking I was gone for the week I’ve not had the jar with me and only lit it the day I had made it. While I was away at work he and I were still talking on social media here and there.. I hadn’t seen him for a month as I said I had been away on holiday and when I returned was only home 4 days before going to work and I had briefly saw in passing at an event but we haven’t spoken about our situation or anything..

Sorry for the scattered story I’m trying to give as much background so I can get the answers I need. So week on as I said I felt he had sweetened a little with certain comms he had made with me while I was away but then suddenly the last two days he has out of nowhere deleted me off all social media and not spoken to me. I am obviously distraught as I am worried I have done something wrong or something else is going on. I returned home from work this morning and I got home did a cleanse of my house and myself and pulled my jar out and I lit another candle and said my words (which I’m not even sure what to say anymore) and everything seemed to burn well and I felt good about it until I realised just before he had deleted me further from all the other social media we had eachother on.

My question is, have I done something wrong? I am still waiting on my proper kits from LM but now worry whether I should still attempt to do them when they arrive (it’s been a few weeks now) and dispose of this one I started? Has anyone ever experienced things getting worse before they got good? I’m so confused and hurting right now and any guidance would be appreciated.

At one time or another, we've all seen things that got worse before they got better, BonitaJay.

Please stay forgiving and optimistic and pray that he is as well. Two people who wish each other only the best can go far together.

As long as you were focused only on sweetening the situation, you really can't do any harm with a honey jar -- one reason it's such a great first work to try. "The words" you say can be anything heartfelt.

There's a lot more information in my book that I hope will help:

Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells by Deacon Millett

Use in Magic:
"Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells: Sweet Love Magic in the Conjure Tradition" by Deacon Millett. Deacon Millett of Four Altars Gospel Sanctuary presents full, complete, and authentic instructions on every kind of sugar, honey, apple, onion, molasses, and syrup spell you can imagine. Deacon Millett is a Reconciliation and Love Spell specialist, and the incredible opening section is filled with the Deacon's recipes for making your own sugar scrubs, sweet bowl spells, and honey baths! Plus, he has included an extensive "Frequently Asked Questions" section, gleaned from the pages of the Lucky Mojo Forum -- with incredible answers by our intrepid moderators and members of the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers. The information you have always wanted is now available in one easy-to-read compendium:

Thank you for your response. I guess more so I wanted to know if it is worth to continue given the situation as I can’t get any personal items from the person as we are now full no contact. I guess what I wanted to know was if the honey jar would still have its intended effect or should I be looking into something else.

BonitaJay --

Not every spell works -- just like not every surgical operation cures or every race is won by your favourite athlete. We all do the best we can, and magic is just part of what we try. If your honey jar is not producing results, keep working with it for a while longer. I tend to allow three months at the very most before i give up. There is a thread about this here:

About a month ago my ex and I broke up, we broke up peacefully, we broke up for some practical reasons and not a broken relationship, I wanted to work things out but my ex thought that would be too hard and chose to break up, so I lit the candle on our love honey jar praying to get us back together but I noticed that the candle's flame was very high and burned fully, there was almost no residue of wax, but the candle burned slowly, what was the sign? Now we often chat, and although the content is not much, still very friendly, there is no sign of getting back together, but the relationship has not become worse, I feel that I still love him in my heart, and I feel that he is the same, but our relationship seems to be stuck in the stage of "after the breakup continues to be friends", no better or worse, I feel confused about this, and I don't know what I can do to make our relationship better.

Hi let me know if I am in the wrong thread - - but I just really need to ask because I have been searching on the forum but can't find much.

- - I don't really have any love concerns or problems in love in particular but I wnted to still make a honey / sweet jar or sugar jar with me and lover (because, correct me if i am wrong, but wasnt it said that it was better do have it even before a problem occurs?) But... my problem now is this, i dont seem to know how to this in terms of enforcing that idea to make the relationship maintained or improved , etc - since most of the guide i have seen is about reconciliation type or for situarions where there is already a problem.

Should you still do the crossing method and encircle love me? (i have a lot of the lucky mojo books - black book red book bottle and jar deacon millets & womans work books as well... but i dont think iv seen it or did i miss this out?) can anyone help or advise how i could get started with this intention in mind?

happyconjurelady ,

Honey jars are not only made for reconciliation but also for love, friendship, work relationships etc. Look under the text about red onion as well or an apple and see other methods. You can also look at the spell kits offered by Lucky Mojo to get an idea on options.

Honey Jars: https://www.luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html

I also suggest the book on honey jars because its filled with advice on this work.

Oh, I actually have this book. I probably missed out on things... I will try to reread it. Thank You, JayDee!

Hello Deacon Millet! Oh, haha yes... I guess I was "fixated" with the writing of petition on how I should make it or word it out since I've akways thought the crossing method is normally done and only asking for "few words or phrases" to make it clear that is why i got a bit confuse with this kind of intention... (felt like sudddenly a lot of things pops in my head Idk where to begin) haha! Or how it should be done right. Like, in my head I am aware it is to sweeten something and someone but in my head I never knew how to go about it to use it for "maintenance" or how it should be done to foster a currently on going good relationship (idk if im making any sense lol).

happyconjurelady,

The same method is used regardless if it is reconciliation or love work. Write your name and their name across like an X so they are crossing paths. Then write in an unbroken circle a simple petition like, "lovemestaywithme" or something like that. Dress the 4 corners and center spot, then add herbs and personal concerns to the jar.

Good evening, I have read through this 131 page thread as best I could. I read where Ms.Cat said it is best to get to matching items of concerns if you were to add your own personal concern, my question is; is it wise to add binding items to a honey jar? For instance like honeysuckle.

I am sorry I just saw where it is fine to use honeysuckle.

cbishop ,

Honey jars can be made to just sweeten people together, or to dominate people, you can see the difference in magic uses such as a a Commanding Honey Jar which uses more controlling herbs versus a Reconciliation jar which uses sweet and forgiving herbs.

I suggest this book to further assist you.

Hello

I want to make an influence honey jar for my dad.
Iam thinking of putting influence oil on 5 spot pattern in his photo
But Iam stuck as far as what other herbs would be wise to use

Any ideas please ?

My petition will be
" You are sweet to me, you are taking care if me, I am the one and only priority of your life, you value my opinion, you are under my influence"

Tonight I lit candles around the fertility and pregnancy jar I made a couple of days ago (I want a son/daughter) and I put one on top as well. All the candles were anointed with Road Opener oil, for removing obstacles.
The candles around the jar burned well, while the one that was on the top of the jar almost caught fire (this was an 8-hour tealight).
The wax finished completely, but the candle continued to burn with a high and powerful flame, blackening the aluminum candle container.
I was forced to put it out because it would catch fire.
Also, all the wax that covered the jar and that I had used to seal it melted.
What does this mean?
Will the spell work?

Larimar Pearl ,

I have never heard of a Honey Jar to get pregnant unless you are working it on a partner to make love to you.

A strong powerful flame can be a lot of passion or it can also indicate obstacles since it darkens the top of the base.

Honey Jars are often worked over a period of time to gain success, it is not uncommon for the wax to melt off at times due to the candle heating the lid. Many workers use chime candles with a chime candle holder to hold the candle on top while doing the work.

There is a book called Women's Work which would be helpful in this work to get pregnant.

Hello everyone!

Is a name paper effective if you don't know the actual name of your target, but instead settle for his official occupation ( such as "mr.policeman, judge, politician)?

This month I'm taking my driving practical exam. But the actual name of the policeman who will supervise me during the period is not revealed publicly.

I made a name paper writing the "auto examiner" three times crossed by my name written three times as well, while circling around the names the command "give me my driving license". Afterwards, I added on cinnamon for success, sugar and jam as a bonus sweeting effect. Then I folded the petition towards me. After that I ate three spoonful of honey saying as this honey is sweet to me, so will the auto examiner be sweet to me and favor me and give me my driving license. I plan to burn tea light candles on the jar until the respective day.

Thoughts?

BalkanDiviner ,

When the target is unknown such as a case where you will deal with a police officer or a judge etc, you can put all the details you know to make the petition specific. May the auto examiner for (city or country) located at (address) who will assess my driving on (date and time).. then continue the petition. I also find using Court Case products works very well in any situation dealing with government officials who will make a decision that has legal standing, such as your case to determine if you get a license or not. You can add Little John Chew to help with that, you can add items also known to give success or wisdom like Solomon Seal Root, Bay, Five Finger Grass, Lucky Hand root (the last two because driving does require the hands).

Hello everyone, and happy new year!

I have a couple questions.

First, does anybody know if a petition rising to the top of the jar where part of it sticks out of the honey indicate resistance or is it literally just a matter of simple physics? Do these sorts of things impact outcomes?

Second, I have seen some people mention using coffee with honey spells to intensify impact and/or accelerate results. I was under the impression that honey jars are long term types of spells, so I would have never thought of doing something like that to speed results, but I do wonder if it could help supercharge a jar or if that's just Tiktok nonsense. I also wonder if coffee would be a nice touch for a little kick in a honey jar meant for a target who is a coffee enthusiast.

Thanks in advance!
