I've tried sometimes through candle service,but didn't received the desirable results,so i don't know if lights are something relieable or just waste of money,i'm a bit dissapointed,don't say this about your specific service but in general.

Hello Slither,

When I don't get the results I desired from any particular spell, I take it as one of several possible signs: that the one-time performance of the spell was insufficient to the task and I need to work it again; that my petition was insufficient to the task and I am not asking for the right thing; or that my choice of spell was insufficient to the task and I need to perform a different spell.

If, after completing whichever of these potential remedies I choose, I still do not get the results I seek, then I consider the possibility that what I am asking for is not going to happen. Sometimes No is the answer.

Consider your options as I listed them above and see if you should repeat or replace your spell before considering the work a waste of time.

Hi everyone,

I've just received my Influence Vigil Light Candle and the scent is just lovely. However, I have a few questions regarding usage in accordance to my situation, grateful for any advice and insights

So I have chose no label for discreet work at home, hence I am not 100% sure with the procedures - done my research and I understand that I simply need to set a proper space, lit up the candle and be focused with my wish while it burns. Are there also anything I need to look out during the process please?

Another concern is, is there a specific rule on the duration in burning the candle if I really could not afford to let the candle burn out completely in one go?

Hopefully I could be of help to you:

1) I'm not too sure what you mean about anything you need to look out for. My gut tells me that you may be speaking of certain signs/omens etc you may observe while the candle is burning. If that's what you mean, the you will find the information on this thread of some use to you:

2) There aren't any rules about burning candles in parts however there are some common practices.

a) One thing you could do is use planetary/angel hours that correspond to the type of work you're doing. For example, for matters of influencing people are ruled by the Moon (planet) and Garbiel (archangel). You could consult a planetary calculator online that would tell you when those hours would be on whichever day.

b) You could burn them on certain days of the week (mon & friday for influence) for a certain time period, 15 - 20 min or an hour if you must. You can improvise with your schedule

c) This would be a sort of a "drawing" type influence so you could burn them when both hands of the clock are going upwards; for example, beginning at 6:30, the hands of the clock are going up instead of down.

Whatever you decide to do, one generally accepted "rule" is that you do not want to blow out the candle in between burns. Instead, you want to wet your finger tips and pinch it out, or you can snuff it out with a candle snuffer.

Started a figure candle today. I’m breaking the spell into 9 days. I noticed the candle began to tunnel and the first pin dropped before the wax melt reached its location, mid forehead. It was a clean fall. Then, I went to snuff the candle with my wet fingers and it refused to be snuffed. It popped and cracked as I pinched the wick, and the flame resumed. I had thought perhaps to let it keep burning, but didn’t want to rush the spell.

I’m not quite sure how to interpret this.

I am wondering if I am on the right track with the products I have purchased for my situation - my story is that I have found out that my guy has been two-timing me and I have cut communication with him since September this year and it has already been 2 months. He has been keep close track of my Instagram stories and updates and we are still following each other's accounts. I wish to restore communication with him but I would prefer him to be the one taking the initiative...I am sure you would all understand - he was the one doing me wrong in the first place so I don't want to be the person making the first move...

I have been applying Return to Me oils daily and have finished burning 2 Return To Me vigil candles, 1 Reconciliation (all 3 candles finished burning neat and clean) and now on Follow Me Boy (slow burn but so far so good). And I must mention that previously after I finished burning my first Return To Me vigil candle I actually mistakenly video-called him (I swear that was totally unintentional and I believe it's the candle working the magic!),he did texted back right away and our few messages exchange was somehow friendly.

May I seek advice on whether I am using the appropriate products or are there any oils / candles more suitable for my situation? Thank you for all your kind help!

Reconciliation helps get over past hurts and brings two people together. Return to Me brings them to you, Follow Me Boy makes them follow you, all of these candles are acceptable for the work you are doing. What I would like to see is a passion candle, something to reignite the love between you, then burn that candle with the other candles around it, on his photo, while you Pray Psalms 23 and 32 together for reconciliation.

Yes, that oil would be good as well. You can order a custom oil blend that mixes up to 4 oils together for a blend of your choosing. When doing so think of the intention of the oils and the story.

Hello,

I apologize if this has been asked/answered before (I’m sure it has), but I’m having a hard time finding anything online or in the forum.

All of my vigil candles keep going out prematurely, and I have to keep re-lighting them. I trim the wick to probably 1/2”, but it always seems to end up being the case that the wick becomes drowned in the wax. Why is this, and what can I do to prevent it? I’m applying a very nominal amount of herbs and oil to the candle, so I’m kind of perplexed and annoyed.

Hi Dogsofthebins,

There are a few reasons and a few remedies.
1. Cutting the wick too short, if the wick is hanging out of the glass cut it to be about the top of the glass.

2. You are not putting holes in the candle. If you add oil you must stab at least 3 holes in the top of the candle with a screwer, or knife to let the oil move away from the wick.

3. To much oil, it literally takes a drop

4. Too many/oversized herbs, if the herbs are catching fire, you have too many, they are melting the wax too fast.

5. You are burning candles near a fan or vent, try putting a foil cone around the top to see if stops the flame from going out if so, you have a draft.

6. Wax flooding happens if the flame is too weak, you can pour some of the wax out, remember to hold the candle from the bottom and it can still be hot.

7. If you snuff and relight candles over and over you are going to have issues, with either smoke lines, or lost wicks, burning yourself. If you can burn candles on a patio, protected by a flower pot, or even a charcoal grill. That way they can burn completely without fear of burning down your house. If this is not possible. 8. Spirit is telling you this is not the right candle. If you are doing a love candle, and it keeps going out, could be the spirit saying you got to cut ties with the last one first, try doing Road Opener or Cut and Clear.

9. Stop using glass-encased candles, use 4in -6in tapers, or pillars.

In addition to Mr. Christophers great advice, I would add that, if the candles are being set for the same purpose and each one is doing this, it is a sign to the work. This can be a strong sign from spirit that the answer to this work in its current fashion, is a no.

If it keeps happening to different candles for different purposes than I would look at the candles and make sure they are quality products, and follow the advice from Mr. Christopher.

No matter which candle you use, if you doing the work yourself make sure you dress it. Add herbs and oils to support your endeavors. There is also a great petition that Miss Michaele once featured on the Radio show.

Knowing you from the past post, and your past experiences, you often purchase these candles from MISC and have them burned on the altar. Make sure your petition is clear on what you want both candles to do, you can even request to have them set at the same time. Many people when working with candles like this do them in a run, for example have four sets of the candle set, one each week for a month. This way the candles are burning the whole time you are looking for work, and supporting you in that process.

I'm sure this has been answered one million times, but I was having trouble finding it in my search of the forum.
Once a glass vigil spell candle is complete and burned out, what do I do with the glass? I know I've heard not to throw it in the trash unless you want it to symbolize the target or the spell being "garbage", this is a spell for luck and money. And for the last month I've just been hanging onto the jar feeling perplexed as to how to dispose of it. Thank you!

Hey Lucas!

When we've done these -- for the same purpose, actually and especially when we've seen extremely strong and fast signs and movement -- we've placed any petitions or other bits from the working into the candle glass itself, capped it nicely, and kept them as container spells. Some have been buried in the front yard, to keep them 'drawing in."

If it's truly done you can always recycle the glass after disposing of any other remnants, giving the glass a chance to be 'reborn' so to speak.

In accordance with Reverend Art's great advice, I recycle mine, sometimes if you want you can turn the glass into a vase of flowers to give an offering to the spirits or any Saints you worked with in this working.

That is a very good question, I am not sure off hand, but that is a question you can easily get answered by calling the shop and asking the staff how many candles they can package in one order safely.

I am very curious to know what the traditional stances on re-using vigil jars are and if there is a precedent for re-pouring to re-use the jars. I would assume so due to the existence of the 'pull-out' vigil lights that can be inserted into the used glass, but you know what they say about assuming...

I love vigil lights and also enjoy pouring my own candles. Sometimes I will keep over a bit of wax and fixings from an 'old' candle and use it in the batch for the 'new/re-poured' candle to keep the work going. Typically I do this for healing or success works that take some time to manifest.

Chel,

I would not repurpose a glass candle by making a new candle. When a candle burns it is exposed to high heat that makes the glass less stable. This is why pull-out candles are made because it is safe to put a new one in and keep the container. Also when a candle burns it leaves marks or signs in the glass that are read for divination. This would get complicated using glass over and over. You can use the jar as a vase on an altar related to the work you are doing.

I had not considered that the integrity of the glass casing would be affected due to the heat exposure but that’s indeed a ‘duh’ in retrospect. Knock on wood, I haven’t had issues with exploding vigil candles but once is one time too many.

Sorry empty vigils, but it’s back to holding coins and flowers for y’all.

There are some women that did bitching, slandering, backbiting behind my back till i retire from a previous job, from then i face serious mental health issues that i haven't still overcome them, chronic sadness, injustice, depression and more.

My petition is for them to regret every single time their behavior, to understand their fault and apologise to me even if i have lost touch last 2 years with this workplace, they must pay what they did to me, they harm my mental health without doing them nothing.

I know their names and i have theirs pics to send for petitions.

Can crossing and reversing candles be used or lit together for a more powerful result if the purpose is to affect these specific persons as a group?

Or should i set them separate for each person alone?

You have wrote about this issue several times on the forum over the last year. Slightly off topic, but I think you should consider a Cut and Clear candle on yourself, to cut the past hurt from these fake friendships, and have a Blessing and Crucible of Courage candle set on yourself to replace that energy with renewed hope, happiness and courage to live your life after this.

You can do a crossing and cursing at the same time. Reversing sends their evil back, crossing would be used to cause them harm for what they did .

I personally would set one per person, that way the candle, when it burns will give you a district reading on that specific person and how the candle is affecting them. If you add too many names you will not be able to determine who it is effecting or who is resisting the work etc.

JayDee,i was searching that kind of candle,to cut bad past and hurtful emotions that following me from past,i will check that for next month.Yeah,should add a seperate candle for each person,but this need to save some money so i can able to pay the candles and get the results as soon as possible,i want these persons everytime they may meet me to regret what they said,what they did,even if it's past now.

As I've learned about Hoodoo magic through working at Lucky Mojo, I've become interested in candles because it was the first thing I worked on at the shop as well as through a book written by Cat about candle magic. The way different colors mean different things; EX: Red meaning passion, love, lust, or White for purity, along with how the days of the week can affect the spell as well as the time of day -- these things I find interesting and enjoy telling customers about if they plan to buy a candle.

Hi I’m doing a love spell over the course of 9 days which requires me to burn a candle every day for 9 days. On the second day my candle burned so weird, in a way I’ve never seen before. What could this mean? It burned almost completely hollow except for a space about a quarter inch where the wax flooded out and created an opening. Thank y!

For burning a fixed candle for Saint Dymphna is it necessary to leave the candle burning after the working? I can't really leave scented candles burning in the room because of the sensitive respiratory tracts of my pet rats.
