Hi! I’m New here.

I’ve learned about Santa Marta La Dominadora Filomena Lubana from a Spiritual Advisor/Rootworker.

I am currently on my 3rd Tuesday of my Novena to Santa Marta. Aside from that, I light a candle and pray to her almost everyday. I talk to her like she’s my friend, crying to her and sharing my problem.
Last Saturday, while I was praying to her, I ask her to give me a “distinct” sign if she is willing to work with me. I was on my knees praying to her about this sign. And after a few minutes, my husband (who is part of my petition to Santa Marta) was outside parking his motorcycle. I knew he was coming over to visit our daughter, but I didn’t know what time he will come. My husband coming/arriving just in time as I was asking for a distinct sign from Santa Marta made me happy and I thank Santa Marta/Filomena Lubana for that.

My petition has not yet been granted, and I am just on my 3rd Tuesday. I will continue praying to Santa Marta and hope with all my heart that she will grant my petition.

Thank you for everyday, Santa Marta. I will continue lighting a candle and praying for you.

Years ago, St. Martha helped me tremendously in a situation with a man when I felt so hopeless and I am forever grateful.

I know that she favors women and is typically dominant over men, but can queer women work with her too? Or is she less inclined to help a woman who desires a partner of the same sex since that might require exerting power over a woman? Would she be more willing to intervene if the desired partner is more masculine than the woman petitioning her?

Sorry if these questions sound ridiculous.

First, these questions are not ridiculous -- they are logical and well thought out!

Second, Saint Martha is more than just a helper to women -- she is also a helper to anyone who is a cook, a servant, a restaurateur or tavern keeper, a bartender, a chef, a housekeeper, an event planner, or a caterer -- regardless of gender.

But, all that aside, she helps women by giving them autonomy and control over rambunctious or obstreperous people, including love partners. I have heard more than once of butch lesbians who needed taming, and who were tamed by an appeal to Saint Martha. So in my opinion, for what it's worth, i think she may be willing to intervene.

Hey guys,

Do we have to use the statue of st Martha or would a picture of her do? Tried to order but it seems to have been discontinued.

On the vigil candle it only has the white St Martha and I was looking to work with Lubana. Does that matter?

I started the work Saint Martha. I put a picture of her in a frame, green candle, fresh black coffee and water. I let the candle burn for about 3/4 hours. The flame was low. But ok the same night I had a major argument with my sp, showing me the complete opposite of what I had prayed to her for.
What does this mean?

I had to remove the altar and hide it in my drawer as I live with with sp.

Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, why could this be.

I’ve worked with her before years ago and it was great.

I have had spells fail, if that is what you are asking. It is impossible for me to give an opinion on this event, as i don't know what you prayed to Saint Martha for.

Thanks Catherine.I asked for him to prioritize me over his family. The same night we had a fight about this (not even sure how the argument occurred) and he showed me the opposite of what I'd asked. It was like he was answering the opposite to what I'd asked St Martha.

If you prayed this and got the opposite, it is a sign of a "no". When we do work, we need to watch for signs and adhere to them.

If this is your first time working with the Saint, I would continue your petition and ask her for signs if she is willing to work with you. Use divination to determine the outcome.
