Hello again LM family

Well, here what happened last night:

I was casting a moving candle spell for break up purposes.

Due to luck of space I am doing my spells down to the basement, which is under ground and due to that it has steady temperature all year long. It is warm during cold months and cold during the hot months...

Yesterday, after a little while the temperature went so cold that I felt like freezing. And that is very very unsual for this place of my house...never felt like that ever before, living here all my life!!!

My back was the part of my body that was most cold of all.

Let me note, that my feeling did not say that it was something scared or something threatening me ...just that this was extremely unusal and something was there.

I put Fiery Wall of Protection oil on myself, spray Florida Water and had bay leaves inside my shoes and around the altar.

I strongly feel that there was something present...spirit, entity , even though I did not call for an entity or particular spirit !
After the spell, I sprayed the place with Florida Water and Holy Water, myself too and with sage incense.

I am not looking for an explanation or guessing here on the forum of what this was all about, but I would like to ask what else can I do to protect my home in general and members of my family from unwanted "visitors" in terms of entities.

(I have also pets...last week my cat came up from the basement quite scared, looking downstairs all the time, even though I spiritually had cleaned the place)

Hello crystalangel!

From your description it does sound like an interesting, and potentially unsettling, experience you've had! It also sounds like the protections you've put in place thus far are working as intended as nothing negative came from it.

I do have one question...is the basement floor solid cement, or are there open places with a dirt floor, like a root cellar or anything?

It's been my experience as a medium that while protections are in place that doesn't necessarily prevent a spirit from entering an area. They may not be able to DO anything per se, due to the protections, but just by being present and that presence being felt are able to generate the reactions they were angling for.

Protections and wards are a good start, but sometimes it takes an active (spell work) as well as a passive (protections) approach to hang a more permanent 'no trespassing' sign, so to speak. If you feel the need to really get to the bottom of the "who/what was there" a reading could shed a lot of light on the situation.

You may have a spirit in the house, in the basement, or even one visiting you. Often you can tell by the feel of the energy ( if you are sensitive to that). Hoodoo is spiritual work, the herbs, curios, the oils are made of spirit based products and we call on the power of God and his creation to do the work.

When you spiritually cleanse the house you want to do the whole house not just one room. The spirt can move space. You start with top to bottom, back to front. In this case the second floor to first, basement to first, first floor outside the house, unless you basement has an opening but it sounds like it does not. Wash the walls, clean the floors, burn Uncrossing incense, take a bell, or a pan and bang it and shout get out, recite Psalms 15 to remove evil, as you do this have a window or door opened to allow it to escape, then slam it shut.

Take a new candle dressed with Fiery Wall of Protection and place it in each room.

the basement floor is like a cellar it has plenty of old things including some personal things of my mother who is not with us anymore unfortunately.
Let me mention at this point that she died from a horrible accident she had in this house...the place that she fell and hit her self is right above that basement in the let's say backyard ...she got herself heavy injured and died in the hospital exactly literally two months later...there are other strange spiritual things that make me believe that it was not just a simple accident at all ...but I think this is not the place to discuss all that. Just this: when I call her abd feel her presence is a warm feeling inside and outside myself...not a cold one so I don't believe that she was with me yesterday.

Well, the basement has open places...there is no door that separates the basement from the stairs that lead to the house. The main apartment of course has a front door downstairs and upstairs as well.
So, yes sometimes dust from the stairs may be down there.
I will definitely read the pages you proposed and come back with questions if necessary.

There is down there a small hole in the door of the elevator that we don't use...so yes, this opening could allow a spirit to enter from the top of the house... there is also a small window in basement but never opens... it's closed for years .
Your advice for the spiritual cleanse is very helpful indeed and I will do so with what I gave till the next order with Chinese wash and buffalo ammonia arrives.
So if I have understood correctly I will start from the top of the house go down to the apartment go to front door and last to the basement... right???

Clean from top to first floor, then basement to first floor, then out the house. If there is a hole, I would seal it and then cleanse and do the work to seal it out. If a person died in the home and it was a bad accident, you may be experiencing her fearing and protecting you in this space ( if it's related to her death).

If you think its mom, you can elevate her and pray to lift her spirit, set a Guardian spirit candle in her name while you pray to lift her up and out. In some traditions they place the votive candle at the lowest place in the home, then each day, for seven days lift it higher until it is at the highest safe point, to uplift the spirit.

JayDee's offered some outstanding steps to take to cleanse the area and ensure protections are in place! I'm intrigued about this presence you felt and it's origins. One of the reasons I inquired about your basement room is that, in older houses where basements were dirt floors, it effectively left the building 'unsealed' and provided a means for restless spirits to enter the building. It can sometimes mean additional wardings, spells and protections would be needed and in some cases repeated regularly to keep the area spiritually secure. I'll share a story to highlight what I mean.

Once upon a time a friend of mine was renting an apartment that was an old house (early 1800's) house converted into 2 units. Tenancy on the first floor seemed to have a revolving door, as soon as someone would move in they moved out again in short order. In talking to my friend he was always happy when the downstairs apartment would go vacant again because, in his words, everyone that moved in there was loud as hell! A time came when the downstairs apartment was empty for several months - my friend was in his glory, lol - and out of no where things started to happen in his apartment too.

It started small, like tapping sounds and insignificant things being moved. Then came loud footfalls like high-heels on wood floors...coming from carpeted rooms. Soon after things became physical; stuff falling off walls and breaking, hair pulls, pushes when walking through the house and using the main staircase that led to the main entrance to the basement. I investigated but found nothing. The floor was paved and sealed, no foundational cracks that weren't properly repaired. I kept being drawn to that basement though, and after searching through it several times I found small door in the back corner that had been hidden by a mattress being stored there. Opened it and realized there was an old root cellar still there...with a dirt floor! Now, I should also mention that my home-town was big in the Revolutionary War and a cemetery for those killed in battle isn't far from this house, predominately providing a final resting place for soldiers. It was a perfect recipe for allowing all kinds of things in we wouldn't want to deal with! I cleansed the room, drew a sigil into the dirt floor to seal it, we closed the door and nailed it with iron pegs. There were no issues after that. Well, other than he got a downstairs neighbor that stayed for more than a week...but at least they were quiet!

I also want to mention, doing or having a reading to figure out the nature of this presence may also shed some additional light on how you'll most likely want to proceed in your cleansing and protection work.

Well, your story made me sceptical about the story of my house...

It us not that old back to 1800's. It was a piece of land which my parents bought and build it from the very beginning. It is in urban area with big road in the front with lot if noise and traffic.

The metro terminal station also is very close something like 50 meters from the house meaning that there are holes under ground for the train.

The thing is that there are extra old galleries under since many many many years ago there was a coal mine...the area still has the nickname "coal" due to that.

I have to research a little bit to find out if there were accidents back then to that coal mine.

An update...it was a lignite mine, although the nickname of tye area still is "coal". There were accidents and a miner was dead.

There was also huge explosions fires and finally a revolution of the residents.

Your question is a bit complex considering we do not have any background information on the situation. For example, did you do work, did you conjure a spirit, did you do anything that would make this a spiritual experience? If not then it is likely not. We also have to rule out natural experiences as well when determining if something is a sign or not. A classic example is setting a candle by a draft, if it dances is it because of the draft or a spiritual meaning? Similar did the knocking happen during a storm, did others on the street experience this too, possibly kids?

With no other information, I suggest a reading from an AIRR member to help you divinate on the experience.

I've finished a few spells regarding love work recently and I've started experiencing little visitors so to speak. It's starting to freak me out a bit however, anytime I've ever done any spell work I've noticed things happen. I was showering last night and it sounded as if something had closed a cabinet in the bathroom with me , it did it twice. I told whatever it was to stop. Is any of this normal? Years ago after a few love spells on a different target, I felt something hit the bed from underneath it while I was trying to sleep. What type of cleansing could disppell this thing from returning? I never pray to anything except Spirit/universe when doing this . Thanks

Certainly sounds like this spirit doesn’t like love spells being done in the house.
Nothing to be freaked out about. But it’s your place. Yours!

I keep the house clean Pine Sol is my go to. I love Chinese Wash too. Wipe your counters, mop the bedrooms with Chinese wash. If there’s carpet use sachet to sprinkle on the carpet and vacuum.
Spirits communicate easily in bathrooms because it’s surrounded by water. Clean bathroom with Pine Sol and Chinese Wash. I use one one day, another the next.
Keep toilet seat down.
Keep door closed.
I highly recommend Tibetan Ghost-Purging Incense.
Burn it especially where you experience most activity.
I’m humming, singing a song like, I can only imagine by Mercy Me and I’m going room through room saying psalm 23.
I’ll speak straight to the Spirit or spirits and ask them nicely to move on so they can find the love that’s waiting for them.

If you don’t want to say Psalm 23, make up your own petition to ask the Spirit to leave.

Palo Santo wood sticks are good for moving Ghosts out.

Recheck your love work. You might be using something that is attracting this Spirit.

I'm only using LM products as well as my target's personal concerns. Do you think white sage will do for now to rid this place of my "visitor". It's not my place, it's my friend's apt. She's not crazy about incense being burned in here ,unfortunatley. I seem to get activity when I do any kind of work though not just love work. It startles me a bit lol but nothing else.

Sage helps clean up negative energies. You have attracted Spirits like everyone does at some point.



But we all work differently.

You have natural abilities, keep studying, get coaching, listen to the radio shows.

Ah I see, thank you May I ask what exactly attracts them to me when I'm doing spellwork? I can say that my mother's side of the family seems to have this gift of both sight, seeing spirits (long dead relatives) and or premonitions in our dreams. Luckily I don't see spirit's lol I do though seem to be sensitive to premonitions from time to time & reading people.

I've read through this thread but I have a question that I feel is hyper specific.

A good friend of mine works at a funeral home in family services and just started as an apprentice embalmer. Well every now and then she will have a (dead) client follow her home. Usually they don't go past the cemetery gates, but lately a few have followed her all the way to her front door. She asked me to make her something for protection.

My immediate instinct was a black flannel bag with silver thread (shooting star style) with specifically a piece of obsidian in or on it or, alternatively a bottle charm, with the Fourth Pentacle of the Moon or her name written on the opposite side of a prayer to St. Michael as the petition paper.

My only doubt and question is what herbs would I put in it? My intuition says angelica, devil's shoestring or devil's bit, but other than that nothing really comes to mind.
