Visiting the Lucky Mojo Shop / Driving Directions

Hello, lacherrymoon --

Due to the Coronavirus lockdown, we are running the shop with only 11 employees instead of our usual 15, and some of them are working part-time. We are downloading orders and charging credit cards only 3 days a week at this time. When your card is charged, you will receive a confirmation email -- and we hope to be nearly caught up downloading orders by Monday or Tuesday, after which they will build up again while we make products. Please bear with us through this difficult time. We are all trying our best, and hope to keep safe and also keep the flow of hand-made products going out.

I am unsure why you did not receive an email. It is automatically sent by the company that handles the transaction (not by us), so please email the shop -- try order@luckymojo.com for a reply from a person.

If i understand you correctly, you never received your order confirmation email (the one that is auto-generated by Shopsite, the company that operates our shopping cart software) and you also never received a personal reply to an email you sent to our office (order@luckymojo.com).

Based on the email you used to sign up for this forum, i looked up the office email log and saw that email was sent to you. We did not receive a bounce notice, so from our end it seems the mail was delivered.

Because you are apparently not receiving the Shopsite-generated email or our office email, i suggest that you check your own email spam or junkmail filters and be sure that mail from us is getting through.

I also looked up your order, and i found it: Shopsite ID 0121435 and LMCCo Invoice #207141. The order was placed on 4/16/19, the payment was processed on 4/19/20. Of the four items you ordered, three have been made for you (all of our goods are custom-made; there is no factory here) and we are currently making the 4th item, which is a spell kit. All of the parts of it have been made and the kit will be finished by this afternoon and will likely ship tomorrow.

Wow! What an experience. The shop is beautiful, even through the lense of the internet.

Having the visuals is great but I need to come in and smell and inhale the shop, the church, the dirt. I'm hopeful that this pandemics ends soon so that I can visit the shop the next time I'm in Cali visiting my parents.

Wild Perennial Sweet Peas (Lathyrus latifolius), also known as Everlasting Sweet Peas, blooming in the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. garden in Forestville, California. These beautiful, carefree twining vines have been here since before i moved onto the property in 1987. They ask for nothing but a little sunshine, and they work hard to nitrogenate the earth. They only grow along the path between the shop and the barn, mostly on the drier, sunnier, uphill side of the walkway. Come visit them and say "Hello!"!

A beautiful blue Hydrangea in the garden at the Lucky Mojo Curio Company in Forestville, California! When the pH of the soil is acidic (5.5 or under) Hydrangea flowers are blue, but in alkaline soil (pH 6.5 or over), they are pink. We call them "Nature's Little Litmus Tests" -- and in our Redwood Forest biome, they are always blue. Come visit them!

Our shop cat Bootsie has been in the hospital for several days with a severe gastro-intestinal ouchie. She is receiving excellent supportive care from Dr. Cabrera in Santa Rosa and today she was well enough to receive visitors, so Eileen and Colleen went to see her. This time of year is booming blooms for Wistaria vines, which roam up into the trees, intermingle with Roses, and generally adorn multiple spots in the gardens around Lucky Mojo Curio Company. The Vocabulary of Flowers identifies Wistaria as a symbol of longevity and sensuality, of lives entwined in strong love, and Purple Wistaria is sexually seductive, more powerful than it may first appear. This suits us nicely, and we love to nurture many Wistaria plants, some quite old.
