The AIRR Tech Team twined together to polish their analemmas in celebration of our sunny page on Litha, the Pagan Midsummer festival, commemorating the power of the Sun on the longest day of the year. Litha is one of the eight holidays on the Wheel of the Year, and the transition point between the half-yearly rule of the Oak King, who governs between Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice, and the Holly King, whose dominion extends from from Summer Solstice to Winter Solstice. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions by Deacon Millett, Papa Newt, and Nagasiva Yronwode. Catherine sourced and photo-edited the art by F. Schlegel and the photo by Aija444. Papa Newt and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. Check out our scintillating page on Litha!
