Strangeasangels ,

A petition rising to the top of a jar is a normal process, some stay at the bottom, some rise, and some go to the middle. It depends on the honey and the packet weight. I have never read this as a negative or positive sign.

I have not read about adding coffee to honey jars, do they suggest brewed coffee or coffee beans? The idea that honey jars are slow is a made-up internet idea, I have seen them work very quickly. To heat the work up, which can be seen as speeding up, we would add ginger or cinnamon.

To add honey would be added as a sweetener to the persons coffee and you would replace the honey in the jar to use later in other food or drinks.

JayDee,

The examples I saw used ground coffee that hadn't been brewed yet.

Strangeasangels ,

Coffee is a diuretic, it is often used in uncrossing work as it helps remove items like curses and crossed conditions. It can be used as a drink or a strong bath.

It can be found in Miss Cats Hoodoo Herb and Root Magi p. 74.

I personally do not see the fit in this spell, it looks like something a person made up on the internet.

Is it okay to burn 2 candles on my sugar jar at once ? Pink or blue candle anointed with reconciliation oil, healing oil, return to me oil and influence oil ; a red candle anointed with come to me oil, love me oil, bewitching oil, fire of love oil and influence oil. Lighting my blue/pink candle first saying my intention and prayers for reconciliation over it for 10 minutes and then lighting the red candle and doing the same for love attraction desire, so they would both be burning alongside each other on the jar.

Trying work from 2 angles of reconciliation & healing and desire & love

SugarLoveHoney,

You can burn either candle on the jar one at a time. If you want multiple candles then you can burn them different days or burn the other candles next to the jar in a candle holder as a helper candle. In this instance I would burn a pink candle on the jar and a blue candle and a red candle next to the jar.

Hi :) Is it ok to have 2 separate honey jars on the same person for different desires or should I just make a new one aimed at a different purpose? The reason I ask this is bc the one I made 2 weeks ago worked to an extent but my target didn't "physically" come to me as I petitioned, only a few messages then he disappeared. I was wanting to make a new one to make him "pursue me" using follow me boy oil with a red candle & other suitable herbs for what I wish him to do. Also does the honey have to be pure organic? Is this possible? Thanks <3

Gothbarbie1313,

If you feel the current jar is not reaching the goal then go ahead and make a new one. A honey jar is made with roots, herbs, curios, do not add water as it will spoil. If you plan to use the honey to feed to him then be careful what herbs you add. If you have no intent to ever feed him the honey then use what you desire.

Does the honey have to be pure organic? No. Some people use other items other that honey such as sugar or molasses.

I made a honey jar and I am working it every night. I took care to write the petition and I am very satisfied with it.
Now, I am wishing I used a different jar though. The current jar had some patterns and cartoons on the metal lid that I only just noticed.

My question: Can I reuse the honey and petition in a new jar?

maybe top it off with more honey if the new jar is bigger....

I am sure the question has been asked, but I could not find it. Thanks.

hocuspocus ,

You are asking, can I open a honey jar and it still work? Yes.

Honey jars can be opened a traditional way of working a jar is to use the honey in the food or beverages you prepare for the person you are sweetening, then replace the honey used with new honey.

If I'm making an all new honey jar for my target to "desire me & stay in my life", which oils would you suggest I use for my petition paper inside & would that be too many words to use for this particular petition? I basically want him to want to build an emotional connection with me thru constant communication. He recently moved out of state so communication is really the only way to help this along at this point.

I currently only have come to me, follow me boy, mercury oil, bewitching & kiss me now. Also, am I supposed to put my picture in with his if I'm wanting him to desire me? Reason I ask is bc I don't want to get mixed up in my own conjure & feel it more than him lol.
Thanks <3

Gothbarbie1313 ,

You would put the photos face to face so he can only see you and is focused on you, stick them together with a smear of honey.

Your petition desire me and stay in my life is vague in that he can easily do this from out of state, he can desire you and be in your life virtually, it does not mean he will return to you, move back to you. He could but that is the problem with a vague petition.

Influence oil to make him think as you want, Love Me for him to love you and desire you, Stay With Me to keep him in your life.

Thank you for clearing that up for me as I was a bit confused. So should the petition simply say desire me love me or just desire me? Do I need to make a whole new jar & dispose of the other one since I want to change my petition then? The current one burns with lots of wax hearts so far but my petition just says "pursue me".

Gothbarbie1313,

I personally from what I am reading, do not think you are clear on what you want and therefore will continue to get mixed results. What is the end result desire, pursue me? What does that even mean? "John doe come to me and love me now with all your heart mind and soul". "John Doe come to me and love me now". "

There are many ways to make a petition paper for a honey jar, one is the names in the middle making an X and a circle with a simple statement. The statement should summarize what the overall goal is, simple enough to write but not too simple that its vague.

You can also write his name 9 times, turn to the right, write your name 9 times over his, circle it with a petition.

I strongly suggest this book for honey jars:https://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoohoneyan ... pells.html

Hi, I'm trying to find information on a sugar jar spell to help me get a job. It has been mentioned a few times on the Lucky Mojo podcast, but I can't remember which episodes, and I can't find much information on it elsewhere.

It involved a sugar jar, with a printout of the company logo, a petition written on the back, possibly 4 dabs of honey on it, and maybe a picture of your face? It also included bay leaves, cinnamon and I think some dirt from the location?

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Or could someone point me to the podcast episodes where Cat mentioned it?

Thanks.

Hi, this is cat --

You have it just about right -- but i use the photo and the logo with one dab of honey, to "glue" them together. (if it were for love, i would use honey or red jam to "glue" the lips of the two people together.) Cinnamon is used for money and Bay leaves for wisdom and renown. They go into the jar as they are edible. Be sure to taste the sugar and call for the hiring person to be sweet to you. The dirt of the job0-site is not edible and does not go into the jar. You take your home dirt to the job-site and trade it with some job-site dirt, saying, "Soon i will work here." Bring that dirt home and lay it in a ring around the jar, on a plate, saying "[Company name] will contact me and hire me." Then burn a yellow 4-inch candle dressed with Steady Work Oil. You can open the jar and use the sugar in your coffee or tea.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot Cat, that's very helpful!

It looks like I won't get the chance to visit the job site to collect dirt until my interview next week, so I'll work with the yellow candle straight afterwards while I wait for the outcome.

I won't be able to get Steady Work oil by then, but I do have Crown of Success oil. Would that be an acceptable substitute?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I also have Money Drawing Oil.

Pharakuneth ,

You can start the jar now with the items you have and can work with to help you get the job, add anyone on the hiring teams name that you may know from the email or interview details. Burn candles starting now praying, and set one in a safe manner while you are at the interview. Crown of Success is good for getting a job as well.

You can also have MISC set a Steady Work candle for you while you prepare and interview.

Hi, sorry for all the questions, but I've got another one: I took a printout of my face and the company logo with a petition on it. I glued them together with a dab of honey, but now the images on the printouts are discoloured and smeared, thanks to the honey.

Is this an issue? Do I need to take them out and do them again?

Pharakuneth ,

I would leave them as is, no need to open the jar. In the future use better photo printing paper or fold the paper up and stick it in. You can do this by turning the paper three times towards you as you rotate to the right and fold it.

I've been having problems at work with the new CEO of our nonprofit. I've created a honey jar to get her to approve of my workplace accommodation, which so far hasn't worked because she rejected it, although I did put in an appeal so that's still ongoing. She, and the head of HR who I also made a honey jar for, are noticeably more surface-nice to me, but still not at all helpful and their actions still disrespect and endanger me through my physical disability. They're just nicer about it now.

The more I interact with this CEO, and hear about how she treats other people, the more I see that she's either entirely incompetent (or possibly senile), or she's running our org into the ground intentionally for whatever inane or egotistical reason. I've been reading Bottle Up and Go, and I'd like to try a Hot Foot bottle or jar spell just to see if I can get the CEO to leave.

My question is - do I have to take apart the honey jar spell before I put together the Hot Foot spell jar? Will they work against each other in any way? Or will they each keep doing their own thing independently, where the CEO continues being 'nice' to me but still (hopefully) goes away/gets fired/stops being CEO?

MsChrysilla --

What a great question! I get asked this all the time, and am pleased to reply. However, the answer to your question is not simple.

The honey jar is a spell to make people as "sweet" as honey. This is often attempted during love spells when the intended partner uses rough language or physical violence. The "love" or sex aspect of the spell is implicit, but what is being refined is the attitude of sweetness. Some practitioners and their clients are satisfied with surface sweetness, figuring that a normal sex life will cover the love angle well enough and all that they want is more kindness and cuddles.

In a job situation, there is no implicit love or sex, so the honey jar's usefulness in producing what you call "surface-sweet" effects is much more clear. They will gradually become used to being kind and sociable, and that may be all you asked for.

And that brings us to the important point of intention. What you prayed into this honey jar is your intention, and as you work with the jar, you can open it and modify or amplify that intention.

Moving on to a HOT Foot spell -- yes, you can work it at the same time as a honey jar -- so that the CEO will leave gracefully and on sweet terms.

But -- most important! -- do not work them next to one another. If you employ directionality and timing in your work, place the honey jar toward the East and work it in the morning so that every new day brings in more sweetness. Work the hot foot jar at the West, and at sunset, so that every evening the CEO is closer to leaving and going home. Always wash your hands and face between handling the two jars. Do not connect the one to the other.

Good luck.

Thanks so much for this advice, this is super helpful! I'm asexual, so normal sex/love magic isn't something I do often, and I didn't understand this about honey jars yet. Thus far I've only used honey jars for workplace peace and sweetness (here and at my previous job) and this all makes so much more sense now in how they've worked for me in the past :)

Someone on the boss-fix thread recommended I make honey pots for the CEO and HR-Head the last time I asked for advice on this matter, so they'd be more inclined to help me. But now that I'm re-reading the books I'm reminded that "sweetening" isn't the same as controlling someone or influencing their decisions. It's still an improvement that they're not horribly antagonistic towards me now, it's just not the full outcome I was praying for.

A follow up question - my working altar is a small table that's about 30inches wide, so would it be OK to just have each jar at opposite sides of the altar (East & West) or would it be better for me to set up a separate table a few feet away? My apartment is also small, but not so tiny that I can't set something up a few feet further to the west.

I'm also thinking of making a vinegar jar, with the electronic signatures I have for the CEO and a high ranking board member to sour their relationship. I assume that this should also not touch the honey pot, but would it be OK for that to share space with the hot foot jar on the west side?

Yes, you can work the two jars at East and west. Some people put two colours of cloth on the table to mark the area for each intention.

Hello everyone, some advice would be helpful. I got my first honey this past Friday. I’m trying to sweeten things between me and my specific person. I didn’t feel the need to do or get any work done to bring him back into my life because he always comes back on his own. But this time around, I want to make things serious. I got a honey jar and a locked in candle for long term commitment, I wrote out my petition with his name, birthday, and all the intentions that I want from him with us. I put it in my jar and I’ll be lighting my candles tomorrow. Is there anything else I should do?

A honey or sugar jar is a great spell, and a candle spell is also great -- put the two together, like you are doing, and you have a strong combination. Once he is back, i suggest that you work on some personal concerns for a loe, sex, and fidelity spell. You can find more about this work, inclding many spells for strengthening love bonds, here:

Hello everyone, I know no one has been in here in a minute but I have a question. I burned my candles for my come to me honey jar September 30th. I also had a locked in candle burning along side it and it had a nice high flame. I remember to shake it often but I haven’t burned another candle since (they’re not available in my area). But last night I had a vivid dream of my sp calling me and giving me his new number. I thought it was weird because I already have his number, it’s just been a while since we’ve talked. Is that’s sign that is working?

Reinaj ,

You can buy chime candles and burn them on the honey jar weekly as a method of working the jar, it is not required but it is a nice way of working the jar.

The dream could be a sign, perhaps the person is asking why you have not called them from the dream interpretation and thinks maybe you do not have their number.

Greetings,

I have a friend with benefits and I would like for things to go to the next level (commitment). I had a reading & it says I make him happy (we have great sexual chemistry) but it says he's hanging onto his ex.

I don't know the ex’s details nor the reason for their breakup and I try not to ask too much.

I did a general break up candle last month for any sexual or romantic rivals and it burned clean.

I have lots of love oils & herbs from the website, i'm planning on starting a honey jar soon as Mercury retrograde is done with.

1. What candles can I burn on the jar?

2. What other work can I incorporate with the homey jar without overwhelming myself and him also?

Thank you all for you help

Hello, MissT

1) I would recommend candles dressed with any of these oils, or a blend of any of them, on your honey jar:

• Stay With Me
• Love Me
• Marriage
• Chupparosa

2) For more spells on drawing someone closer and gaining more commitment, please go to this Forum thread, read it (all 29 pages!), and ask any questions you might have over there:

Novice Cancer --

Folks open and close sugar and honey jars all the time -- and use the sweetening in cooking spells, top up the jar with more sweetener, and so forth.

You may have confused them with mojo hands, which are tied and closed -- but they are not mojos.

I want to know if it is too much to use licorice, cinnamon and ginger at the same time when doing a sweet jar? Or any workings

Chanfe ,

The items used are often selected by the intention of the work, and how the root, herb, curio supports that intention. If Licorice, Cinnamon, and Ginger fit with your intention of the work, then it is fine. Licorice helps control or bend to your will, Cinnamon and Ginger heat things up.

Miss Cats book Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic would offer very valuable insight to which items to select.

Thanks, I have the book, My intentions are to heat things up and wasn’t clear on if the cinnamon and ginger was too much heat along with the licorice, I read somewhere that outside of licorice being to bend will it also heats things up as well.

Chanfe --

Licorice is strong, but it is not "hot" to the taste.

Cinnamon, Ginger, Grains of Paradise, Little John to Chew, Yellow Mustard, Black Mustard, Cayenne Pepper, and Black Pepper actually taste hot, and that is why they are called heating herbs and Licorice is not a heating herb.

Of those i listed above, only Red Pepper, Black Pepper, and Black Mustard are hot and negative / repelling. The others are hot and attracting, and their use depends on their other meanings.

Hi guys, it's me again.

Upthread I asked a few questions about using a sugar jar to land a job, and I'm pleased to say that I got that job a few months ago. Thanks again for the advice!

I'm still using that same jar, but I would like to modify it. The jar still has the names of the hiring managers who interviewed me, and while I would like to keep them sweet to me, I don't work with them as closely as I did at the start. Right now, I want to sweeten myself to the team I work with, and people from across the department.

However, the original jar I used is too small. There isn't enough space to add more name papers. Would it be a problem to empty the whole thing out into a bigger jar and add new name papers? Is there anything I should watch out for while doing this? Should I just create a separate jar?

Also, I have a photo of myself with most of the team, taken at a bar together. Additionally, I have samples of team members' handwriting. How would you guys use these personal concerns in a sugar jar to this end? I considered writing a petition on the back of the team photo print out.

Thanks.

Pharakuneth ,

If one jar is working completely fine, why would you dismantle it to make a new one? Another reason I would not mix them together is that you have a lot of people in one jar; if a candle burns poorly, you would not be able to divine why. I suggest you keep the one jar intact as it is working, and create a new one for the team you work with that is more reflective of that close bond you want to have with this team.

Thanks for your response JayDee, that's very helpful. My reason to create a new one is simply because the original jar I used was too small to take all the new names I wanted to to add. But what you write makes sense, I think it would be better for a sugar jar to be more concentrated on one set of relationships - even if it does mean that I end up with an altar that's full of sugar jars!

Pharakuneth,

You may acquire several jars while working. Not all of them have to be active jars on the altar; you can put away a jar that you want to keep working and burn candles on it once a month.

Something just occurred to me: I have a client that has a honey jar for friendship with someone that's now become crystalized. Should she create another jar for romance with the same person or just add another petition paper with romance herbs?

Hello, The Mango Witch --

No need for a second honey jar. Crystalization is normal for honey. Here is how to reliquify it:

Just warm the honey jar in a warm water bath over low heat. Place a folded dishcloth beneath the jar so the direct heat will not crack the glass. Keep the level of water up to the shoulder only. Do not let the water boil or even simmer, just warm the honey. It will relquify. Then you can take the jar out of the water, unscrew the lid, stir the honey, and put the second petition inside.

Remember to taste the honey again for the new petition -- and feel free to cook with it if possible, renewing it with new honey as needed.

Good luck/

What are the lucky mojo herbs and oils I need to put in a sugar jar targeting my new coworkers? I just placed another big order.

You see, I’m joining a specialized sales team who all have backgrounds more technical than me, albeit not required to do the job well.

I know I’m every bit as qualified as them. But what LM items can I put in my sugar jar to make them accept me, want to work with me, see me as competent, see me not threatening and most importantly want to go out of their way to help me onboard?

The most important thing they need to do is accept directives from me as part of my core job responsibilities. So I want it to be friendly and highly collaborative but ultimately have them like me enough to do as I say during times of high pressure? I was thinking a sugar jar bc you catch more bees with sugar than being mean and bossy!

Thanks as always!

Hello All,

I am a beginner rootworker and would love some guidance on maintaining the strength and effectiveness of a honey jar. What are the best ways to keep the work active? Should I bury the jar in the ground, or is there another method to ensure its potency?

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Respectfully,
Queen_M

Thanks JayDee!

Can I add a new coworker and/or herb to an existing sugar jar I am working on? If so, would I just add another petition and remove the existing petition? And affirm that the new herb is for its purpose?

No, you do not bury sweet jars -- you use the sweetness in cooking!

ruetheworld30 --

You may add people, petitions and (edible) herbs to a sugar or honey jar at any time, and remove the names or petitions that are no longer relevant.

Hi all,

Would it be beneficial to include a small drop of Fiery Wall of Protection oil in a honey jar packet, to symbolically 'protect' the relationship from outside evils? Or would that be too 'inflammatory' so-to-speak, or nontraditional? I was considering adding chuparrosa, stay with me, marriage oil, etc. But would is be better to dress prayer candles over the jar with these instead?

Thanks for any advice anyone can provide, reworking my jar soon.
Thank you Saint Martha, Filomena Lubana, Saint Expedite, all my Guardian Angels.
Thanks be to God.

BecauseILoveYou,

I moved your post from the section on "Crown of Success Honey Jars" to the general thread on honey jars, as it seemed to fit this topic better.

Fiery Wall is a fierce protection oil, used to defend and destroy enemies who attack. If you are looking for a protective oil to add to love work, I would opt for Protection.

You can dab the paper if you like, however, if you plan to use the honey to cook or feed to the person, it is best not to. If you are not going to feed it to the person then you can as it wont flavor the honey. Burning candles on the jars dressed with oil is traditional.

If I haven't worked a honey jar for 7-8 months, should I make a new one?

And if the answer is yes, can I take the packet out of the old one and use it in the new one?

Thank you.

MrsSchaeffer2020 ,

No need to make a new one, a honey jar is a blend of two spells, a container (the jar) and a candle spell. The existence of the jar continues to sweeten even if not worked. You can add a candle and work the jar and heat it up. You can start with a 7 day run and then follow it with Mon-Wed-Fri.

Hello,
Iam planning to make a honey jar to bring close to me the man I want...
For the story , we are not in relationship...we are still flirting each other ... there are some resistance from him, may be fears too, so I want to do and other kind if work too for hus resistance etc

Iam going to put
His photo
2 cardamom seeds
Saffran for love
LM love mix herbs
Ginger powder to make him hot sexually for me
Honeysuckle to bind him
Spikenard for a lasting relationship
Catnip
Oils on his photo in five spot pattern: come to me oil, Chupparosa oil (he from Mexico, vsi I feel there is a connection), Fire Of love oil, Attraction oil

Iam open to any other suggestions for herbs and oils.

Petition: behind his photo Iam thinking to write the 8:6 from The Song of Solomon

Or it would be better to write his name 3 times, turn clockwise, cross with my name and make a circle around writing "love me, come to me, love me,come to me and pray with the 8:6 every time I lit candle?

After I put petition and eat some honey can I smoke with tobacco the honey jar while saying the 8:6 of Song of Solomon???
I love that part and I want to use it In my jar definitely!!!!❤️

Furthermore, I planning of using two lodestones...put the honey jar with candle in the center and move gradually the lodestones close to each other until they touch...
Do I have to light the candles every day until the lodestones touch each other???
And what do I do rye lodestones afterwards???

Last question... where can I find the whole procedure of cleansing, baptize, dress and feed the lodestones???

Iam open to any suggestion, or any change you think I have to make

Thanks
