Hello. I have worked with Saint Expedite and have been successful. Do you have to keep up a relationship with him if you want to use him again in the future? Can he be put away or should you always leave him up on the altar. Just running out of room so I don't know if it is cool to store him.

I would keep a saint relationship active and "warm," just on general principles. Saints have experience as human beings, and humans don't like neglect.

Since space is a consideration, you could put some of your altar friends on the wall above your altar: hang a picture and put a little wall sconce below it as an offering space.

Whats a good statuary representation for someone reconciling gnostic christianity with pantheism? Because "god" outside of some ancient israel depiction of baal/bull god or maybe mesopatamian enki or some depiction of metatron seem like the only options for someone that wants a "central deity" on the altar to work with. And I guess since I'm mostly praying and using psalms, a statue of a lot of the ones I like such as Isis or Ganesha are going to be incohesive.

I like IAO/Abraxas also as a concept of over-deity also

You can start by asking them, lighting a candle and promising to make a donation or gift in their name if they answer the prayer. You can also ask them for a sign that you will clearly understand that tells you if they will work with you. Other options is going to a trusted advisor like an AIRR or Hoodoo Psychics reader, in particular one who has a relationship with the spirit you want to work with, and asking them to do a reading to determine if they will work with you.

I hope this isn't too off topic, it's not Hoodoo per se, but it's clear from what I've read and learned here y'all know your herbal magic so here goes

I have become greatly illuminated by the wisdom of Hienrich Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, and have attempted an interpretation of his planetary magic, through this I have, thus far, managed to invoke two spirits to appear, whom were possibly Hagiel intelligence of Venus, who appeared in the form of an incredibly buxom and well-dressed woman, with curling hair like Venus, a mirror in her hand, and most bizarrely, a face that I couldn't perceive, and Nachiel intelligence of the Sun, who appeared in the form of a fiery fur-bearing Scarab, who almost looked like a spaceship from an 80s arcade game or from the cover of a certain Journey album. The latter seemed to be VERY pleased by the incense I was using, HEM Incense of the Sun, zooming around in circles in the air above the altar.

I recently got a cauldron/brazier, some Lucky Spirit incense powders, charcoal disk and I read https://luckymojo.com/planetaryrulers.html and it had me wondering about a particular planetary incense recipe that Agrippa outlines in chapter 44 of Book 1. He probably didn't invent this 7 planets incense, and he attributes it to Hermes.

It is composed of
Saturn: Pepperwort
Jupiter: Nutmeg
Mars: Lignum-Aloes (aka Aloeswood)
Sun: Mastic
Venus: Saffron
Mercury: Cinnamon
Moon: Myrtle

I'm only experienced burning premade incenses, what are some considerations and precautions I should take in burning herbs? How should I prepare these herbs (grinding them, etc?) and, most relevantly, which of these Herbs are available here @ Lucky Mojo? I'm sorry about how long this is, take what I say how you will, but I've stayed in holy silence for too long and I must run my mouth about these mysteries

I have noted that in the Folk Catholic, Voodoo, and Hoodoo traditions some saints are associated with days of the week, for example Saint Martha is associated with Tuesday in some Spanish prayers (See The Nine Tuesdays of Saint Martha in Helping Yourself with Selected Prayers Volume 1) Presumably this is a pun on Santa Marta and the Spanish name of the day Martes. Saint Expedite gets associated with Wednesday (presumably because his appearance as a young, handsome Roman and the speed of his miracles connecting him to Mercury) and Saturday as a representation of The Baron. So this begs the question, are there any other Saints that traditionally have connections to days of the week? I've become very fascinated by how people link their prayer structures to the days of the week and have done so in my Angelic workings to great perceived efficacy, so I'm curious.

Many Saints are associated with days of the week or have a feast day that is celebrated.

The Black Folder contains saints and associations, and the Red Folder contains saints and Catholic folk magic. The Complete Book of Correspondences, by Sandra Kynes which can be found on the Lucky Mojo page of occult books, is filled with great information on associations of days, weeks, elements, spirits etc. Encyclopedia of Mystics, Saints, & Sages by Judika Illes and Encyclopedia of Spirits by Judika Illes are also a good starting point, both found under Lucky Mojo's occult books section.

Hello,
I was curious if it is traditional to work the Lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram into creating a sacred space before doing your workings.... I know some ceremonial magic has worked it's way into the practice of Hoodoo.... Like the seals of Solomon..... etc... or do some Hoodoo practitioner just work the invocation Before me Raphael...behind me Gabriel...I know people will put up prayer cards in the four directions of a room following the pattern set in the Lesser banishing ritual.... And an example or two of how it is worked for ideas ...thanks

As far as i know, historically and contemporaneously, the Lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram has no part in hoodoo. I mean, you could add it if it's your thing, but you will not be working traditional conjure.

Demeter is the ancient Greek Goddess of the harvest and thus very important to the Greek people who farmed for their food.
Persephone is Demeter's daughter; also a lover of nature. While gathering flowers in a beautiful meadow, a huge hole opened and she was captured by Hades, God of the Underworld. Zeus and Hades agreed that Persephone would have to spend 6 months in the Underworld, and then was allowed 6 months on earth; accounting for the change in the seasons. Hecate is the chief goddess presiding over magic and spells. She witnessed the abduction of Demeter's daughter Persephone to the underworld and, torch in hand, assisted in the search for her. Thus, pillars called Hecataea stood at crossroads and doorways, perhaps to keep away evil spirits.

Amaterasu is the highest deity or kami in Japanese religious culture and she is represented by the Sun. In Japan's early literary texts, the Kojiki (c. 712 CE) and the Nihon Shoki (720 CE), she is described as the ruler or co-ruler of heaven and the ancestress of the Imperial House of Japan via her grandson Ninigi. Along with her two siblings -- the moon deity Tsukuyomi and the storm-god Susanoo -- she is one of the "Three Precious Children" of the creator god Izanagi. In the most famous story told about her, she shuts herself away in a cave, bringing disasters to both the world and heaven.
