I just wrapped some vandal root and graveyard dirt from my dad's grave in a green post-it with my name and the name of my beloved. I believe my dad really doesn't want me to be alone, but not sure he would approve of this guy. How will I know if my dad isn't down to help me with this cause?

First off dont do work with spirits before you know confidently! Second if you think dad wont agree then he probably wont. You are the closest to your ancestors and they can reach you easily. It would be good to sit down at dads grave and pray to him to speak to you, put some items at the grave he liked as an offering. sit silently and see if you feel or hear or just know something.. Listen to the advise. Try and get some personal item of his to add to the work and also please dont second guess the work once you do it, thats like praying to God for help then saying Im not sure you can help, can you help? It kills the vibe!

I just remembered my dream last night. I was texting with my target and we were making plans to see each other. He was being very sweet.

It felt so real, I had to check my text record to see if it actually happened.

No signs from dad though. His grave is far away, so I will just talk to his spirit.

Has anyone had success with putting Vandal Root or Crossing Powder on a Persons vehicle. Someone I know is going on a trip and there is a chance I want to cause hard luck and destruction on their vehicle while they are gone. Has anyone got any ideas? I was simply thinking to sprinkle Vandal with Crossing Powder and Sulphur as well while praying that the car breaks down while they leave out of state. Any recommendations?

Referring to the love spell with vandal root, graveyard dirt, and green paper, directions say to “wrap it up” and place it under your bed, well wrap it with what? Cloth?

I folded mine (toward me, turned clockwise, and folded again, turned clockwise and folded toward me one more time), prayed, and left it under my bed, I guess technically unwrapped but the contents are securely folded inside the green paper. but I want to make sure I am doing it right..I know some spells are very particular in the way they need to be set up.

In common English usage, to wrap something up means to enclose it, generally in paper or cloth, by overlapping the ends of the wrapping. After wrapping, it may be secured with string, ribbon, or tape. You wrap a package to ship and you wrap a present for a gift, you do not loosely fold paper or cloth around them.

This is not a matter of our teaching that "some spells are very particular in the way they need to be set up" -- it is just common English usage.

I personally prefer a secure wrap, not the folded method you describe. I use the folded method for petitions, but if i am wrapping something inside, i either form a tucked-in bundle (easy with paper) or i tie it (good for either cloth or paper).

Hello RisenRaven,

I would caution against that, as you do not know which species of valerian root are used in those capsules, and pharmaceutical valerian is often cut with other herbs when formulating sleep aids. Stick to the form purchased from a reputable hoodoo supplier like Lucky Mojo for the right ingredient for your spells.

I just saw a short video by conjured cardea...that stated that Valerian root could be added to a mojo to heat it up for lust...she called it human catnip...

Now I'm not a newbie, but everything I've ever read or worked valerian for is mostly cursing work...

I've heard it can be used in coercive. Love spells I guess but I've never done it myself... Never wanted to take the risk because I know what it can do in a curse...

Is this some small piece of esoteric knowledge I don't know about? Can you use valerian root for lust spells?

We are unable to verify what or how other workers or shops utilize products. They may do so according to their customs and traditions.

I personally have never used or would I suggest to use Vandal root in a love spell as a means to "heat it up for lust", if you have ever smelled the root you will instantly know why it is a bad idea. Wearing the root as a form of "catnip" to make men follow you, I am not sure a man would follow a women who smells like shit.

I personally would not experiment with tried and true recipes to increase love and passion. I would opt for those commonly used, such as Juniper Berries, catnip, Damiana, Cinnamon, or Ginger.

The love spell using Vandal root that can be found under the Lucky Mojo free spells section discusses the use of Vandal root to aid with connecting with a spirit, not as a powerful love root. This spell calls on graveyard dirt and the spirit to aid in drawing the lover.

I am Very familiar with the smell of Valerian root. Personally I've only used it for cursing work. I've never heard of it being as the other rootworker described. To each their own...thank you for your reply. I just wanted to see if I was right ...or misinformed.

Conjured Cardea (Sarah Best) is the one who is "misinformed," i think. The root smells terrible, and it is used either in cursing or in a graveyard spirit spell, as JayDee described, to get the spirit of the dead to convince a living person to love you. Which is kinda ick.

As a medicine, a tea made of it soporific.

I believe you are referencing the spell on the Lucky Mojo free page of Love spells where Valerian (Vandal) roots are used with graveyard dirt in a love spell.

Working with Vandal root in your work for love is based on the intention that you are working the spirit of the graveyard, or a loved one who is passed, to help you gain the lover. Vandal root helps connect with spirits. If that is the plan and the intent of the work, it is worth a try.

This would fall under coercive love spells as you are working with a spirit of the dead to bring your love to you.
