Hi Ms Cat. Thank you for the response.

So it would be "As he drinks/wears this he belongs to me and no one else"?

I try to keep my petitions positive and centered on me.
I am my lover’s and my lover is mine.

I have what might be a weird question about signatures as personal concerns.

I've mentioned on other threads that I'm having trouble working at a nonprofit. Due to the nature of my job, I have access to digitized copies of the CEO's signature, along with a few board members, because they're meant to be used as actual signatures on electronic legal documents. Does the fact/concept that these are meant to go on legitimate legal documents make them as good as a hand-signed signature for conjure work? Or do they still just count like photocopies of a signature- not terrible but not as good as handwritten?

MsChrysilla --

That is an interesting question in these digital days. I consider electronic signature better than photocopies, because they are intended to be legal signatures, but like the automated signature technology and Autopen robot machines used by celebrities and politicians, they are simply a mechanical reproduction.

I would use such a signature, but keep hunting for something the CEO actually touched and handled.

Good luck.

Thanks for this advice! It'll be tricky, as I'm working remote for now, and the CEO is barely ever at the office (despite trying to force other ppl to work there), but I'll start with the signature and her company photo and see if I can find something better later :)

"It's All Ephemera" is the over-arching name for my Patreon stream, and within that is the Patreon series i call "A Hoodoo Hand," which consists of new chapters of "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice," my massive and free online book about African American folk magic. After a year for my Patrons to enjoy, these chapters are made public for all to read -- and so, this week, for the second time the topic is "Railroad Magic." In "Railroad Magic No. 2", i present an illustrated overview of how to work with socks and railway cars to obtain that which you desire with respect to your enemies and friends. Along the way you will learn quite a lot about the structural workings of the old railways of the steam era.

Please consider supporting me on Patreon for as little as $8.00 per month for an exclusive one-year sneak-peek behind the scenes, so i can keep on working on "It's All Ephemera!"

Thank you, Patrons, for making this possible.

AIRR Tech Team Report 2/11/2025 Personal Concerns and Magical Links!

Image

The AIRR Tech Team zoomed together to complete a new web page on Personal Concerns and Magical Links -- physical or biological remnants of, and symbolic links to, other living beings. It is customary to capture something of the body and work with it in spells for love, protection, healing, control, or cursing. Catherine Yronwode and ConjureMan wrote the page with contributions by Lukianos, Papa Newt, and Nagasiva Yronwode. Nagasiva sourced the photographs, Catherine edited the text, Lukianos and Papa Newt did proofreading and site-wide linking, and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. Check out our revealing page on Personal Concerns and Magical Links!

The Personal Concerns and Magical Links page is here:

We shall now move to social media, to share the Personal Concerns and Magical Links page at the AIRR page on Facebook, here:
