Re: Spells and Prayers for Health of Ill, Injured, or Aged Pets
Hi Mr Christopher and JayDee,
The dental surgery was a total success. He did really well. They ended up taking 5 teeth of his so he's in recovery for the next few days, but at home and resting.
Thank you both, again, for the advice. I used it all.
Hugs,
MIA

Re: Spells and Prayers for Health of Ill, Injured, or Aged Pets
My pets aren't sick but I still want to do some beneficial working for my rats with St. Francis of Assisi satchet powder and a brown candle. What Psalms will go well with their blessings? I'll probably bless some treats and feed it to them.

Psalms 36:5-10 is said for the health of animals, as it "preservest man and beast" and it is recited over their food, treats, and water:
PSALMS 36: 5-10:
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Best wishes to you and your rats!

Do fixed candles need to be left burning after sessions to work effectively?

That depends on the type of candle and how safe your candle burning space is.

I meant in the presence of animals with sensitive respiratory systems themselves.
scented strong stuff is okay in spurts but not for hours on end for them.

Thank you for clarifying your concern. As i understand it, you are asking about the dangers of pets inhaling particulate matter and pollutants from candles. I think that the same is true for animals, plants, and humans -- the less indoor air pollution we are exposed to, the longer we will remain healthy. Of course everyone's living situation is different.
Some people have high ceilings, some have passive vents or open windows, some have fans or forced vented air conditioning, some only burn small candles and never set vigil lights, some set lghts only once a week or once a month. some smoke tobacco in their homes, some only use scented oils on light bulbs and never burn candles, some have smoke detectors and some do not, and some people burn their candles outdoors.
In other words, taking air pollution into account around pets is a good idea, but we are not environmental scientists and so we cannot answer your question in the broad or general sense. Perhaps the best rule of thumb is, "If you smell smoke, you can be sure your pet does too."

I'll just let it go for several hours and see how they feel about it and run the humidifier for them if they sniffle

coderedfield47 ,
This is not necessarily asked in your question but is still relevant for pet parents, also make sure if you vape essential oils that they are safe for pets. Many popular oils (essential) are not, do not infuse them in a home with animals. Research will have to be conducted to determine which ones.

Re: Spells and Prayers for Health of Ill, Injured, or Aged Pets
Hello All,
I have a beautiful furbaby who was transported to me by airplane when she was just 2.5 months old. She’s now 2 years old and has developed a deep fear of trucks, the noise of truck ramps, and ramps in general. I had no idea this experience would cause such an issue—if I had, I would have taken a week off to travel to Maryland and bring her home myself.
I’m looking for insight on spellwork that could help her recover from this fear. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Respectfully, Queen_M

This is not a spell, but in my experience cats can be taught to overcome trauma and to learn new ways of liing by giving them food treats, petting, and catnip (if they like captnip). The Churu treas in those squeezable tubes are easy to use.
Get some audio of the truck sounds, ramps, etc -- from YouTube, for instance -- and set them to ery low volume, almost inaudible. treat the cat, start the sound and finish. Do this three times per day or more, petting and treating. After a day, turn the sound up a little more if it is tolerated. If at any time you suffer a setback, go all the way back to square one and start again. The cat may always remain someone skittish, but yu should be able to help her overcome her fear. Let her know you are always there with treats and pets when the noises start. Talk to her about it, too, in a gentle and reassuring tone.
