crystalangel,

1. You are confusing a name paper v a petition. The one gives for a honey jar is using the names and a petition in a circle, you can add a photo of you both stuck together, or even better, a physical item like hair.

2. You burn a candle each day and move the lodestones closer as you feed them. When they touch, you can keep them together and feed them regularly, you can add them to a mojo bag, you can put them under the bed.

Magnetic sand: https://www.herbmagic.com/magnetic-sand.html

3. The stones are cleansed in a non-water based such as a cologne based like Florida Water. You would name them like a doll-baby. You then dress them with the condition oil and feed them with the magnetic sand. In Miss Cats book Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic, pg 126-127 you can find the directions.

Thanks JayDee
The purpose is to bring him to me...so why put myself into the jar too??? We are not in a relationship...yet...

What about the oils and herbs? Any advice, alternative or suggestions?
Also, how and where can I use the song of Solomon that I truly want to

crystalangel ,

It is custom for two people who wanted to be sweetened together for love to be added to a jar, you certainly do not have to add yourself if that is not your intent. Not all honey jars are just used for committed relationships, they can be used for many purpose including sweetening a judge, to a boss.

I would suggest the Lucky Mojo Love Herb Mix which is a powerful blend of love herbs and dressed with 9 love oils.

Love Herb Blend: https://www.herbmagic.com/love-herbs-mixture.html

I think the oils are fine, you can also or in place of one consider Follow Me Boy.

Follow Me Boy: https://www.luckymojo.com/followmeboy.html

You can write it on his photo, you can circle it on the petition, you can read it over the jar each day when you work the candle. You can really do it any way you want there is no one who will stop you, but if you want to work with it in the more traditional manners, that is what we present here. Also, it is a tradition to recite a chapter of Songs of Solomon a day each day you set a candle, each day you say the new chapter. When done you simply start over.

crystalangel ,

Miss Cat splits posts when a member posts multiple questions on the same topic in a row. Please do not post multiple posts asking the same or similar questions; Please use the edit button to edit the text if you want to add more. It makes it confusing for other members and it also takes up space on the forum when multiple questions are posted under the same thread.

You can add the herbs between the photos and tie it as described.

Adding a personal concern will strengthen the work. Please read this page on personal concerns.

Personal concerns: https://readersandrootworkers.org/wiki/ ... ical_Links

Forum thread on concerns: personal-concerns-hair-photo-name-cloth ... -1440.html

I also strongly suggest the book Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells by Deacon Millett: https://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoohoneyan ... pells.html

For $12.00 it will answer all the questions you are asking here and will provide you with many spells you can perform yourself with honey and sugar.

No problem, crystalangel --

We have tens of thousands of posts in this forum, dating back to as early as 2003 -- 22 YEARS of posts. In 2011 Miss Aida and i organized them into sub-forums and topic threads -- which took us about a year. Since then -- for several years! -- JayDee and i have been threading the private forum for my Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course students (also located here, but unseen by the public). We are very close to finishing that project. After that we will thread and organize all of the posts in the private Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR) forum, also at this site.

In the meantime, i have to work hard every day to keep people from snarling things up again. It sounds fussy, but i simply cannot let questions about the religion of Santeria get into the How To Use Crown of Success Vigil Lights thread or questions about freezer spells get into the Mirror Box thread.

Moving misplaced posts is easy, but takes time. I can just snip a post about Commanding Bath Crystals out of the thread about Boss Fix Bath Crystals and then merge it into its proper palace. But when there are varied questions in one post -- how to chose candles by colour, how to use a Double-Action candle, which Psalms bring back a lover, and is it ethical to cast a love spell after all -- then i have to cut the post apart repeatedly and merge each segment into its proper thread -- and that can take quite a lot of time.

It doesn't make me mad to do this work -- i knew i would be doing it forever when we started the forum in 2003 -- but i do expect folks to learn the "house rules" and sort out their own questions after they've been here a while. You've been here since 2016, and have made 326 posts, so i assumed that you knew the guidelines and also knew to go back to your own profile and "search user's posts" -- which are in reverse chronological order -- to see where your other queries had been filed.

Thanks for understanding the nature of our volunteer work here. We do the best we can, for no pay, to make this forum the best and most useful archive of questions and answers about hoodoo and other forms of folk-magic. When we recommend that you buy a book, it is not an attempt to shove you away or make a buck -- it is an attempt to help you become a better worker and to give you permanent sets of instructions for spells.

JayDee was on point in recommending that you pick up a copy of "Hoodoo Honey and Sugar Spells" by Deacon Millett -- either from us at Lucky Mojo or at Amazon, which often has cheaper shipping than we do. If, after reading the book, you still have questions, you can then go to the thread ABOUT the book, cite the page number from the book that you have a question about, and one of us -- possibly even Deacon Millett himself -- will reply to you personally.

Thanks for being a faithful supporter of the forum, and thanks for helping us bus the tables, so to speak.

Miss Cat,

Thank you so much for sharing with me all these thoughts and feelings...I appreciate it sooo much...

I am trying to learn to be traditional in my hoodoo spells and be specific to any single case with respect to the differences, and that sometimes causes troubles to you and to the forum.

I apologize once more.

I have most of LM's books some more on the road too.

Thanks for being present, for the knowledge, for the help for the advice... All so precious!!!

I made a honey jar that didn't seem to work and then rusted shut. How do I dispose of it if I'm unable to get the lid off? 🙏

jurassitol,

You can crack the glass, then let the content out. If that is not an option, then dispose of the jar at a crossroad as is. Since it did not work, let it disperse itself .
