The AIRR Tech Team put their hands together in prayer to celebrate a new web page on Hannah, the Jewish prophetess whose help is sought as an intercessor in matters of infertility. As the mother of the nazarite prophet Samuel, her years of patient prayer for childbearing was granted by God and the priest Eli blessed the child to confirm Samuel's august future. Hannah's final prophecy, that God will send thunder from heaven against his adversaries and "judge the ends of the earth," has yet to be realized. Dr. Jeremy Weiss wrote the page with contributions and editing by Catherine Yronwode and Papa Newt. Catherine sourced the illustration by Frank W.W. Topham, Papa Newt, Catherine and Nagasiva Yronwode did proofreading and site-wide linking, and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. Check out our lovely new page on Hannah!
