AIRR Tech Team Report 7/29/2025 The Crossroads!



The AIRR Tech Team gathered just outside of town to commemorate and acclaim the Crossroads. Whether four-way or three-way, the Crossroads is that liminal, intersectional land that belongs to no one, where any direction is possible, the place where the messenger-spirits of many cultures, from the Devil and Saint Peter to Eleggua and Odin, meet and greet intrepid travelers, a suitable place to perform traditional hoodoo magical rituals, or cast spells, or dispose of ritual remains. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions by Deborah Voith, Nagasiva Yronwode, Lukianos, and Papa Newt. Illustrations were provided by E. W. Kemble, Lou Florez, Professor Porterfield, Martin Liebermann, and several Unknown Photographers. Papa Newt, Lukianos, and Nagasiva did proofreading, and Catherine made extensive site-wide linking. Crossroads are fascinating! I hope there will be a Radio show uploaded on youtube about magical spells at the crossroads!

In Romania there's a similar old belief that crossroads are place of occult influences and disposals of rituals. There's a youtuber who records tales long forgotten narrated by his grandmother. In one video she mentioned how someone close found walnut shells and tufts of colored wool wrapped up at a crossroad!

I additionally love the Crossroads imagery in the tarot: six of cups and Judgement! I've actually elaborated a spell to bless former clients now that our professional interaction has come to an end, so that they'll continue to reap success and blessings from all four corners of the world until we may collaborate again!
