7/21/19 17:40 ninacarmenmonroe I just have a question: My most important ancestors don't have 'graves' - they were cremated, and I've carried their remains with me for years - obv. they're part of my ancestor's altar...Now, I *do* burn incense for them regularly. Could I reasonably consider the incense ash their 'graveyard dirt'?

7/21/19 17:43 missmichaele Graveyard dirt is already a step back from actual *bones.* It's legit to use a tiny pinch of the actual ash, as appropriate and as the deceased is willing to do the work.

7/21/19 18:22 calimojogirl Aw, that's really sweet, a "Grandparents Graveyard Box." I love this. And Miss Lara's way of teaching the girls is a positive way to view the dead, in contrast to mainstream media's sensationalistic teatement of the dead.
7/21/19 18:22 papa_newt When you need help with something in your life you can put a petition in the box. Remember when you get the help to share the prosperity with you adopted ancestor. You can also set this box out with you during dinners with the family and share time. Always treat the box with respect. If you have break the box down then return the dirt to the grave yard.
