Been a lurker here for awhile, and while I hadn't intended my first post to be "Please help, I'm living under a black cloud of ick and it won't go away!" things have gotten rocky enough that I need to ask advice. The past five months of my life have gone straight to ruin for no apparent reason. To make matters worse, attempts to cast off the bad luck don't seem to be helping whatsoever. I suspect my now ex-boyfriend's ex-wife to be the culprit, but can't be sure. I'm willing to chalk some things up to coincidence, but the laundry list of Very Bad Things has grown so far out of proportion that I'm no longer willing to say "It's just a run of bad luck." SOMETHING is making a muck of my life.

Long story short, an extremely healthy romantic relationship got shot to heck in a handbasket, my health has deteriorated without any clear medical reason (I've seen more doctors and specialists than I care to think about, all without any explanation for my intense physical pain on my left side and lower back, severe weight loss, and exhaustion), and my finances have become shaky. Meanwhile, my ex-boyfriend's well being has suffered as well. His financial situation has become desperate, as has his emotional state. I recently learned he's begun to drink rather heavily and though he's very good at putting on a false face for the rest of the world, his life is pretty much falling apart.

As I said, I suspect his ex-wife, for multiple reasons (the timing of when she found out about our relationship and when the problems began, her sudden attempts to get back in his life just as we broke up, etc). But the real problem I'm having is that nothing I've tried so far has helped my situation. I've had limited success with an uncrossing vigil candle and reconciliation bottle spell (the effects lasted for only a few weeks before my health once again plummeted and any gains I'd made towards restoring a relationship with my ex died out). My latest attempt at an uncrossing candle ritual did nothing, and a health ritual appears to have back fired - in fact, I wound up with the flu, on top of my increasing pain - and my financial situation has gotten extremely rocky, in large part because of the medical bills.

At this point, I'm not entirely sure what to do. My goals are this - to regain my health, my man (who had appeared to be getting ready to make our commitment more permanent until, suddenly, his finances became extremely dire and he ended the relationship. In fact, when he did it he seemed confused as to WHY he was ending it, but all attempts at getting any kind of relationship back have met with dead ends, again without any apparent reason, though I can't be certain that it's all magical interference. Some of it may just be meddling "friends" that like him in Bachelor mode because it serves their purposes better), and maybe discover for certain if the culprit is the ex and if it is, send it back at her. You'd think once she'd broken us up it would have stopped, but it's actually gotten worse since then.

The problem is this - I don't really know where to start. I'm at a complete loss on what to do for my health, everything I've done being so ineffective, and I've never even suspected someone of hexing me before so I've never really had to do any uncrossing of the maliciously intended and sent kind. As to the man, I've ordered a reconciliation vigil candle to be set at the Lucky Mojo altar because I currently live with other people, and can't set a candle in a bathtub while I'm gone. I'm also considering a reconciliation spell kit, but I'm not sure if that's the most effective route. We've been split up for nearly five months now, and though I had thought I was over the relationship, I realize I'm not and still want to spend my life with this man. I have no way of knowing how he feels, so I may need something stronger at this point in the game. I have the same concerns regarding a honey jar spell.

Any advice anyone can give me will be MOST welcome and appreciated. And yes, I intend to get a reading. I was supposed to have one done this week, but thanks to flu that didn't happen. Will hopefully be able to get it rescheduled for this next week.

First things first, love, cleanse. Cleanse yourself, your children, your pets, your possessions. Anything that could have been affected by a nasty, clean it up, preferably using Chinese Wash and Peace Water (because it sounds like you need some in your life right now). Use Van-Van oil and incense to anoint and aerate your space.

Second, Fiery Wall of Protection and prayers to St. Michael the Archangel.

By the time you get that done, you should have your reading and know what you're up against, whether someone is laying tricks against you or whether it's just an unbelievably bad bad run of luck.

I would definitely start prayers to St. Michael immediately though.

I agree with cleansing and protection work while waiting for the reading. I would be cleansing the heck out of my home with Chinese Wash with ammonia added to the water, and fumigating with Uncrossing incense or something similar. Do a darn good cleansing - wipe down all the walls, base-boards, door frames, etc. Take cleansing Uncrossing or 13-Herb baths every day until you get some kind of relief. Start praying to St. Michael right away and enlist his aid in the entire work.

Once you've done some good cleansing, then start burning Fiery Wall incense in your home everyday, and dressing yourself with that oil or the powders daily. You may want to hang some small mirrors up facing outwards in your windows to start reflecting anything new coming your way away. You can dress the mirrors with the Fiery Wall oil, too.

You may wish to set or have set for you, some Healing candles, so that you have that support during this process.

You should have your reading by then and can get more specialized answers to your situation.

Always reading first. The beauty of AIRR is that not only are they readers, but rootworkers too. So if they confirm crossed conditions they can either help uncross you or point you in the right direction.

In addition to the great advice of cleansing down things like your home, I suggest Uncrossing Bath Crystals or 13 Herb bath to get things going.

Quick update on my situation - I started doing prayers to St. Michael and to St. Jude on Sunday. I started to make up an order on LM for cleansing products. All weekend I'd been feeling jittery but I chalked it up to the flu. I called in sick on Monday and was off yesterday.

Went into work this morning and found out I had just lost my job. So now I'm unemployed, uninsured, still dealing with medical issues and still estranged from my ex.

I haven't had a reading done yet, but I'm considering having one done through AIRR.

I feel like every single rug has been pulled out from beneath me. Whether this is coming from someone specific or is some sort of horrendous run of bad luck, I don't know. All I know is that I am literally at rock bottom. If anyone has further suggestions on what I can do, aside from fiery protection and cleansing, please, please, please let me have them. For the first time in my life I have absolutely no idea how to pick up the pieces and get my house back in order.

Further updates: I had my reading, and though it left some things still in the fog, it did confirm where much of my negative energy was coming from. I also did a thorough cleansing of the house. I'm happy to say that the cleansing has changed the entire attitude of the house, there's far less anger floating around, and while everyone is exhausted (a combination of much cooler weather and, I think, just the build up of all the loss we've recently experienced) there is a much more tranquil vibe. In fact, there hasn't been a single raised voice since.

I've been doing protection work, and a few things on the side in an effort to bring my ex back into my life. I've had mixed results there, but most signs have been positive. I was practically knocked sideways by an unlooked for omen - in a moment of despair, I was standing by my bedroom window the day after doing a gypsy charm, and I whispered "X, please come back to me." Almost immediately after, the song Sweet Home Alabama started playing and the lyrics I heard were "I'm coming home to you." I still have NO IDEA where the music was coming from (it seemed to be coming from my front yard, or my neighbor's house across the street, but they weren't even home) and I wouldn't have heard it if I hadn't been standing exactly where I was at that exact moment. Was all very bizarre but left me with a positive impression.

Not sure where to go with the reconciliation work from here (I've seen no actual forward movement yet, just positive signs) but I'm going to keep up the protection work, and since I've also lost my job start doing some work in that department, too. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions there, so bear with me! I'm still a novice to much of this. Thanks for the ideas and support.

Hi Truzzie, so sorry to har about the horrid time you have been having. I faced a very similar situation (even down to it being my now ex's ex who was the culprit) I split with the love of my life, I lost my dream apartment, had terrible financial difficulties, health problems that had no medical explanation. Mostly to do with my eyes and ears, like someone didn't want me to see or hear certain things. When it started I accidently burned my arm in three places in 24 hours and the burns came up on my arms in three perfectly round circles, a little bigger than a cigar. A reading with an Airr member confirmed and clarified for me that I wasn't going insane. The same reader, now my rootworker,did hexbreaking and revearsing work for me. I took a seriues of uncrossing baths and cleaned my apartment with uncrossing bath too. I used firey wall of protection oil and sachet powder and incense, got my self a silver mercury dime and wore it on my ankle (it immediately started taking hits for me) Prayers to St Michael helped a great deal too. After all the protection work had been put in place, we started earnesly working on reconcilliation. It is going very slowly but it is working. What I'm trying to say is that you can get relief from this and things will get better. Good Morning to all,

I'm not very active, but do read the forums. I'm here once again to ask help with my situation. Now, it turns out that My Husband's Ex-girlfriend is showing up to my work place (I do social work- Domestic Violence) claiming to be a victim of DV. But, as it turns out she was claiming that I'm stalking her, harrassing her, claims that I have abused her Daughter, that I've threateaned to call DCFS as well as immigration, that I've threateaned my Husband that if he would not leave her I would have her deported. That my Husband doesn't help her financially, yet he demands to see his kids, all these false allegations. Honestly there is no TRUTH to them!!
I did speak to the Director about the situation, and I did voiced my concerns about her claiming that I'm the abuser in a group setting. I have no control what she claims about him. But I work for the agency as an Advocate I work for the to stop the cause!! I was actually glad that my Director was on my side, and informed me that if she's talking about me for one is not appropiate and that the facilitator should not allow her to go to the groups if that's her issue= "ME"
The problem is that through other coworkers I have found out that she continues to attend the groups, and that the facilitator of the group mentioned to a coworker that the Director has asked her if this individual mentions my name in the group, since everything is documented that this facilitator has mentioned that even if she mentioned me that she will not document it. (Talk about doble standards)
I believe that the Director wants to see if she's bringing me up in the discussions in order to either fire me, or to say that it's inappropiate and not allow her to obtain services. The other thing I'm concerned how the other clients will see me, if she's claiming all those allegations about me!
For one I trully believe that she is not a victim of DV and she's after a U-VISA (which are granted by Immigration if you are a DV victim)
This is affecting me to the point that I'm a nervous wreck, she's having people follow me, having people question my children if my Husband and I live together...My Husband's friends have called him to let him know that she along with her brother are trying to obtain information about us..ect..I can go on and on.
Bottom line is that she filed for child support, and doesn't know that I filed 6 yrs ago. By law my child support comes out of his paycheck first then hers will..all this time, he has helped her financilly problably more than me, But it turns out that what he's giving her willingly is not enough, and now will be getting half of what she was getting!!
I really don't know how to go about this situation, we don't live together but my honey jar is working perfectly...since all this caos he's finally realized what time of person she is.
I'm afraid, trully afraid!! her Brother fled MEXICO because he killed people, and the fact that he has been following me, it's affecting me. I pray and I know I have done nothing wrong, and showing up at my work for the groups stresses me out even more, because I have no idea what she's up to and never thought that she would be capable of the things that she's been doing.

Stop Gossip work on the girl and toss her in a mirror box so any evil she sends you way, any attempts to mess your life up, and any attempts at harming you will be hampered and sent right back to you.

Keep yourself protected in the meanwhile and get the authorities invovled if you feel threatened.

I agree with the Advice of Conjureman Ali and I am appalled that anyone would take advantage of the domestic violance system or any other system to gain a Visa-- or for ANY REASON. (false statements and false reporting with you) In my state there is a $10,000-- ten thousand dollar fine for this (reporting child abuse when there is none for the sake of being spiteful) I really like the mirror box for sending her back the "legal evil" trouble.

Hi everyone,

So I did a reversal candle...but I carved a general name on it so that I didn't miss any enemies that were probably workign against me and i wasn't aware of it. There are two particular people that i was focusing on...but it seems they are closer than ever and much happier??

I know I have to be patient, but it's kind of annoying seeing someone who is intentionally doing me harm to smile and laugh in my presence....it seems like they don't have a conscience or something.

I had a reading done and my cycle is a 3 cycle, so it's 3 days, 3 weeks, or 3 months.

I believe I burned my candle October 10th, so 3 weeks is just around the corner....

Is there anything else I should do? Or should I just sit back, continue my protection work and just wait and see?

You mentioned that you performed a reversible candle spell using 'general names...' ...and that 'two people' have gotten closer... A reversible candle 'sends curses back to the one who sent them' not, 'separate people from each other' Actually what did you petition, did you ask to reverse relationships???? . There is nothing in hoodoo rootwork called "a 3 cycle" so i do not know what this means.

Did you go to the reader after you burned the candle -- and, if so, what did the reader actually tell you?

The way i work with spells like this -- simple candle spells that are set once and not engaged as continual work -- is that i watch and wait for signs for three days. I assume you received no signs.

Then i watch for movement -- changes in the situation that tend in the direction that i desired -- for three weeks. It seems that there has been no movement in the three weeks since eyou lit that candle.

If I do not receive what i want within three months, i consider that spell to have failed me. It may have been the wrong sort of spell, it may have been performed in a sloppy or inattentive or under-powered manner, the opponent may be stronger than i figured and beaten it away, or God may not favour my case. For whatever reason (and a reading may help determine the reason) the spell failed. I can now choose to try again with a different approach, different techniques, or a different sense of engagement in the work.

I hope this helps you understand how we work in this tradition, and that you will seek a reading from someone who can guide and direct you as you continue to learn. You did not say who your reader was, but if the reader was the one who had you set the light, then you should return to him or her for further instructions -- or, if the rader was not to your liking, ry another one, someone who can work with you to establish the results you need in this situation.

The argument was mainly aimed at me and my tiredness and exhaustion and the person is viewing this as lazyness. I don't know if I should do a egg cleansing followed by vanvan bath but Id feel like Im only acting on what this person has told me and thats why Id be doing this cleansing, as its not a cleansing from the heart, what do you suggested? The strange thing a week ago I asked a question on here to cure weakness and this is exactly what Im getting argued at about.

As far as a cleansing--you need to make sure that this is not a medical condition so a full check up at the dr's is required in cases like this--magic cannot "fix" a physiological problem but it can assist in healing and improving. An egg cleansing is one of many choices. You could also a do a series of 13 herb baths followed by 9 herb baths (the former is for cleansing and uncrossing, the latter is for strength, wisdom, and mastery), you could use Chinese Wash both in your home and in bathing, take a bath with Van Van bath crystals--there are many options. I would make a final suggestion that you seek out one of the fine workers at www.readersandrootworkers.org to get a consultation and some magical coaching on this issue since it it causing problems not just for you but also for people around you. You also might need the assistance of a professional worker if you are too weak or too exhausted to do work on your own behalf.

I would use her picture and do a freezer spell. On the petition you can say something like , " I freeze (target's name) from (your city or town name) and from me forever" The picture of the business could be used to freeze her from being able to open up another business in the town.

YEARS ago, I did a freezer spell on her. Probably wouldn't hurt to do one again, though I don't attribute it to actually causing her to close her business. That thing was in the freezer for over 5 years I am sure.

And dang, after I posted this, I went to go get some groceries. Passing by the church she went to, she was there today. I saw her car parked in the street.

So, I dropped a little Hot Foot powder out the car window, as close as I could get to her car, in the street.

Nice touch...great you acted fast. Well if you have her address you can send her something lightly dressed with powders. Or I would make a doll, and send the doll of her to a place without your address so it cannot be returned. If you do not want to make a doll, then you can send a a picture without a return address to send her out of town.

I had ordered Fast Luck Oil, but got the Hot Foot Oil by mistake.

I just decided to keep it and reorder the Fast Luck Oil.

As I said before I am new to this forum, however unfortunately I'm not new to being hexed or hoodooed. Reading these postings has really taught me somethings and I have been enlightened on some of the signs that I have ignored for years. When I would try to explain what was happening to me, people/family would say that it was not real. But I knew something was not right with what was going on. To make a long story (and I mean long, because this has been going on for 20 years, yal and I've just been brought out of the darkness into the light) short. I used to date this guy and he would say weird things, like He could hold me back, but when I'd ask how's that he would'nt elaborate. He'd also say that we will always have a connection, but I don't have any children by him nor do we have any mutual aquaintances that he's revealingto me. (however I suppect that 1 of my sisters has children by 1 of his family members who talks about doing hoodoo like grave yard dust and black cat bones, and 1 other guy I used to date mentioned a homeboy of his by the same name of this ex., but they all deny knowing each other). He'd also say thing like thanks for giving me your life, and I never made any vows to him. H always seemed to know where I was and about phoneWe dated on/off for 10 years and mostly because I felt compelled to be with him even though the spirits warned me otherwise. Yet finally I broke free 2 1/2 yrs ago because he'd finally creeped me out. I could not overlook it anymore, it just did't feel normal. He has still been pursuing me, I've changed my phone#(I think he is still calling, because I recognize Odd phone#'s and tatics), but still live in the same place. and from time to time I'd come home and my front door would be fumagated with some type of strong cologne(after inhaling this I would feel loss of energy confused and strange almost lustful urges aches and pains and itching of the skin out of the blue) I've seen bones surrounded by rocks under the steps and black ants crawling around my threshold and banister, but no one else's and A evil woman had moved next door had a straw doll that she kept on the porch and a bouquet of dead flowers (Thank God she has moved) droppings and intials would be on my car that I could not make out .I doubt that he is working alone, he works F/T and lives across town. The sad thing about all this is I believe they are doing this for sheer sport because he swears that he has a semi-live-in girlfriend, yet he is trying to run interference in my life. I have begun cleansing myself and home and using protection and I do feel better, Thanks to the advise on this forum. Basically what I want to know now, is are these phrases that he used to say some type of binding words and are the things and smells some type of crossing or binding hoodoo. I'd appreciate whatever insight I can get.

I have had recent readings from Miss Cat and Conjureman Ali advising me to let him go. I will get another reading regarding my protection.

However, in the mean time MISC was the quickest thing.

I need suggestions to place a quick order to LM....serious protection products for me, my home, car, job.

Is it true you can sprinkle salt around your home or something like that? Is there a special salt?

Any product suggestions please?

Dress the Devil's Shoe String and the Bat Nut with Fiery Wall of Protection and bury the 9 Devil's Shoe Strings on the path leading to your doo or the walkway.

Pin the Bat Nut over your door facing out.

I ordered 3 more FWP candles for me and my mom...sent them a picture of us and our dobs.

My petition was protect "me" and my "mom" from all harm retaliation or wicked plots from "him".

I read fwp take the person out of your life. Does putting his name on the fwp keep him protected too??? cause i want it to stop him n take him away.

I will be reading up on all your reccommendations and I'm going to order some hotfoot candles to hotfoot him out of my life- I Hope.

UPDATE:

The ish did hit the fan...saturday he called me AND my mom a million times. Sunday I was told my candles (fwp & Break up for him and his bm) would be set by MISC. Monday at 2:30 or so he called to tell me his bm dumped him and threw him out. Today he called with a bit of drama, but no threats or anger...just devastation over what I did. MISC does a really great job, I feel protected now. I also sprinkled salt n black pepper in my home and prayed as suggested above. Please continue to keep me and my mom in your prayers. When more money comes in I will get a longer reading from airr and buy lm products for my home. TY LM!!

St. Michael...work with him to protect you. You can print his picture and dedicate a candle to him. If you only have tea lights then use that for now to back up the work you did through MISC, and until you get more money.

As far as protecting my relationship from outside negativity and wishes we have no idea what we could do. I've put small mirrors up in our windows facing out and thought of placing a little glass with a sponge,water and square of camphor at each door on the floor. I would then place a plate on top of the glass and flip it over so the cup is upside down on the plate but keeps all it's contents inside. My only problem with that is that as negative forces get trapped in there one of the cats might knock it over and release everything. OR does the camphor act as a neutralizer so it wouldn't be a problem?

I've a very strong feeling that a root's been put on me. For as long as I can remember - I've been blessed. I've always persevered throughout the ups and downs of life and come out on top. Recently (for about the last 3-4 months) every thing has been going wrong for me. I lost my job last yr (which was expected so no prob there) but have been unable to find another job (surprise surprise.) Not only that, I have been EXTREMELY CONFUSED AND DEPRESSED which is completely out of character for me. I am a root-worker myself, but due to the foggy haze that now runs my life, I have been unable to complete any spell work on my own behalf. I have a dedicated sanctuary in my home where I do my work - and it has always been a haven for me. I feel completely disconnected from spirit and feel absolutely hopeless. Everything just seems to be going bad all of a sudden. I have a feeling that it may have been my neighbor that did it, as we do not get along at all. She has thrown her trash in my yard, threatened my children, allowed her foster kids to enter my house to steal when I wasn't home - and numerous other things. There are only two other people I know who possess the necessary knowledge - but I HOPE it wasn't either of them (being my sister and my best friend.) They are both extremely jealous and covetous of the life that I live and have spoken this fact aloud. Presently I am facing a serious legal charge, and I am very afraid that this root will affect the outcome in a bad way. EVERYTHING is going bad and I believe this is supposed to end with my demise. Can someone please advise? The stress has worn me out and I can barely drag myself out of bed each day. I do not have a history of mental illness and up until a few months ago I was very happy, and really felt that positive things were coming my way. I just need to reverse this - it's very powerful. I know I have the will to overcome but I am so blocked right now. I want to get my life back on track. I have six children depending on me. This has had a detrimental effect on my family. SO glad I found this today. I really need to get into the habit of regular cleansing and protection. I have always been rather lax and quite frankly lazy about it....and I am realizing that I need to be more vigilant....just like working out as you said. Interestingly enough, yesterday I was out shopping for some novena candles as I have been reading the information Cat and others in the forum have posted on how to fix and prepare your own. I have quite a few Lucky Mojo oils and herbs to work with. I saw San Alejo candle and I read the prayer on the back and I thought it would be perfect for protection so I picked it up. I felt kind of drawn to it. I searched the forum last night for "Saint Alejo" and couldn't get any hits, until I searched for San Alejo and came upon this post. I also googled San Alejo and found out it's actually a place in El Salvador--the other person I am planning on protecting was stationed in El Salvador until very very recently. Synchronicity perhaps?
