Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Well to cut a long story.. I have had work done by AIRR rootworker which finished 2 months ago in this time they had uncrossed me and set up protection... however left me high & dry on the RO part of the work, that's why I thought I'd try to to do it myself. It's just that I thought after this amount of time noticeable changes would have been seen.
I'll carry on with my cleansing routine but I'll hav to get another reading 2nd opinion I guess, before I buy any more supplies.
thanx for your time

Well did you tell the AIRR person you wanted road opening work? If you did not then how were they suppose to do it. But definitely get another reading from someone you trust, and try another rootworker.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi. I'm considering using this layout for a road opening starting tomorrow. I have a question though: if I have a health problem that results in W,X,Y and Z, would it be overkill to do the working as the vigil for healthcare and the helper lights for separate aspects (WXYZ) of it? I want to make sure I cover everything, as it's been a long term problem and I'm just starting out on a new course of treatment. On the other hand, no point in making things un-necessarily complicated!
Thanks!
Thanks!

thank you everyone for your answers and suggestions
i ended up using a orange candle dressed with love me oil (since i didnt have road opening oil) for a little extra kick
i carved it with a few small words of "encouragement" for it to work and lit it along with my figure candle that dressed in other oils that i'm working on
i'll post the outcome of everything when its done

It's personal, really. For me yellow signals expanse and unlimited opportunity and openness and joy - all of those resonate with Road Opening work.

I use orange mostly. From what I've learned orange brings change and helps speed up a situation by attracting necessary or extra attention. I burn the orange candle next to say, a money drawing candle or a candle on the top of honey jar.
But I use yellow too sometimes since like Devi I also associate it with opportunity/success.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Actually orange and purple are considered "power" colors by some conjure-workers and especially those who refer to Gamache's system or Charmaine Dey's. In these two systems orange is considered a blend of red and yellow and therefore has the ability to bring power, speed, and success to spells.
Given these associations it logically has become used for Road Opening work which uses power to break through obstacles so as to put an end to delays.

Interesting CM. Thanks for the info. I've never used any purple candles yet. I'll have to do some reading on them.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
With the Road Opener oil, I dress the candle after carving my name, pray and speak what I want then let the candle burn right? Do I do this several times? I have no specific situation to burn for, only a general opening to opportunity and opening myself up to what lies ahead.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
If you are dressing orange 6", 4", or Jumbo candles with Road Opener Oil, then what you described is exactly correct. You can burn each light straight, or in sections. You can burn one per day or set them three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for three weeks or more. Or you can set one per week, on Wednesday, the day for Road Opener / Mercury work.
However, if you are describing a glass encased Road Opener vigil candle, then what you described doing is wrong, because when you get a Road Opener candle from Lucky Mojo, it is already dressed, fixed, and prayed over -- and you should NOT add more oil, as you may end up drowning the wick.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Greetings, I wanted to do a combination ofRoad Opener and Healing Candles. My Divination indicated this would yield positive results. However, I did not see a Healing Candle per se on the store's site. I saw Healing Miracle, but that seems to be more for someone who is suffering from an illness. Is there a vigil candle on the site anyone recommends for spirtual healing BAsically my goal is to remove obstacles an open a new road (Road Opener) and heal any old or emotional wounds that could be hampering progress.. THanks.
Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
The Healing Miracle is more than for illness, it is for general malaise, relieve of stress, and brings in happiness...Personally, I like the Power candle because it increases personal strength and spiritual power. Try it. Also I like the 9 herb bath for these feelings as well ... Good Luck sunseer88.

The fixed candles like all Lucky Mojo spiritual products are prayed over. When you get the candle, pray *your* intent then light it.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hello
I have read cat's pages on the Van Van and the Road Opener. I just need help with interpretation of what I have read...lol I will probably end up answering my own question during my babbling but here goes...
I have ordered a Road Opener fixed candle. I recall reading somewhere on the forum that Van Van has an element of cleansing and protection whereas Road Opener does not. I was thinking that Road Opener, as I understand it, would be better if you were trying to clear emotional obstacles such as for someone who has a fear of being hurt in a relationship, and help with healing or clearing the emotional scars that have caused the fear of opening up. I plan on doing a cleansing and uncrossing prior to the Road Opening vigil candle...so I think I am covered, provided I have selected the right product. Also LM sells Ganesh oil as well, and I think he is an obstacle remover as well. I don't plan on adding this Ganesh oil to the Road Opener candles as it is already fixed but I was thinking of dressing a candle proxy of the person with Ganesh oil in addition to burning the Road Opener candle.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Yes, a road opener can clear past obstacles, but if they are emotional scared and going through obstacles. If they had a fear, then I would recommend doing a clear and cut to get over the past if you can recommend that to the person. And if they are scared in getting into another relationship...I would recommend healing and crucible of courage work.
I would go with road opener on this one.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
If someone is hurting and you need to work then I'd light candles in runs. I'd start with Healing, followed up by Crucible of Courage, then Van Van. Van Van is an old recipe that is protective, clears our messes, strengthens, and much more. Road Opener can also be used to help clear out the obstacles towards healing.
Hope that helps.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Excuse me if this has been answered already, I did a search in the forums and couldn't find anything. I purchased a road opener vigil from LM to remove obstacles between me and a potential lover, but I'm not sure what to put on the petition paper. I understand how to write a petition paper to attract love, but the nature of this is a bit different and that's where I'm thrown off.

Thats a name paper. A petition and a name paper are not the same. If you want to create a name paper, then write your name, and your targets name, and cross it with the command "remove obstacles"

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hiya,
I'm waiting on my LM order and i've been reading around. I never thought to do road opener before my spell work but it sounds like a good way to start.
So here's my question I have 3 separate situations going and I've been thinking it might be too much for one candles.
1. I'm about sit my 3 exams and i'm thinking along with my COS, King solomon, Clarity a road opener candle might a good way to start.
2. I'm about to do lodestone love spell
3. I have a immigration issue as well
Should I go with separate candles and also would vigil be better than just a free standing candle with road opener oil?

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I would do separate road opener candles for each issue because this way you can get a better candle divination specific to each issue. For example, if you use a vigil light for each issue and each comes back clean, high flame and such then you know you have little or no obstacles. If one candle comes back hazy for issue number 3 than you know there are some lingering issues, and/or delays that need to be further dealt with.
In this case, I would use road opener vigil lights so that you can have it constantly burning while you do your spell work for each issue. But its not really about which candle size is better but more or less about how you like to go about this, and what do you prefer. If you have to be discreet about your work, than you may choose to use 4inch free standing candles so that they can burn out quickly, and do not look obvious. Or you can just use free standing candles if that is what you prefer. It is really your choice.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
You can do Road Opening work on Weds and Thursdays. But some like to do it on the day that is associated with their goal. For example if you are trying to do a Road Opening for love they'll do it on Friday, if for success, then on Sunday or Thursday etc. etc.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
There is a thread here where there are several useful lists for the planetary influences and days of the week for spellcasting, including Road Opening. These lists are VERY helpful I have found.

Thanks ConjureMan.
Trish I read through that thread but dont remember seeing RoadOpener listed?
CMA suggests Wednesday and I know that is a good day for removing obstacles, wasnt sure if that was the same as Road Opener.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I dressed an orange candle with 3 drops of Road Opener Oil into 3 deep holes I made into the candle.
I lit it about 11 hours ago. I came into the room where my altar is about 10 minutes ago and there is about an inch of melted wax on the top part of the vigil and there was a HUGE FLAME the width of the mouth of the candle, the whole top of the wax was on fire. I have never had this happen before and believe me I have lit and dressed many a candle.
The strange thing I could have sworn there was smoke on the top 1.5inch of glass bc of the huge flame. I tilted the candle and the melted wax put out the flame. I lit it again and the wax and wick went up in flames again. I tilted it again and waited about 10 minutes and made a quick petition again and this time just the wick lit on fire, there is still an inch of liquid wax on the top part of the candle though. The stranger part is that there is no black soot on the top part anymore. I even ran my finger on the inside and it came out clean.
Has anyone had this happen to them? If so what can it mean?
Is the Road Opener Oil extremely flamable? I used it only once before on this same type of candle the same exact way and this didnt happen.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I think this could potentially be a fire hazard which means there may be something you need to be cautious or something dangerous is in your path. But in this case, I feel that this could be a good sign as well as perhaps the road opener is removing the danger in your path. To be sure you should probably get a 10 minute reading.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I have a 10 minute reading already scheduled its not for a couple of weeks though.
I did it bc Dr Kioni told me that something was blocking the person I am working on and I needed to unblock him with a road opener candle. I did have that same thought that you mention, that its working to overcome the obstacles. The first Road Opener I prepared the same exact way, same candle etc. I redid it bc there was 1/4 inch of wax went it was done.
I will definitely ask about it during my 10 minute reading but since its not until a couple of weeks I thought I would ask on the forum.

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Well keep the candle going. As long as its not getting out of control, and doesnt create a clear fire hazard than I think you are okay. The first thing I thought of in this instance is that its working through the obstacle especially when you said it didnt leave any smoke on the glass. So I think you should keep on burning the candle, and see what the final outcome will be

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I'm sure you already know this, but for clarification purposes, are you trimming the wick? Are you using any herbs?

Re: Road Opener Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Yes I trimmed the wick back a little. As for herbs I only used 3 short blades of lemongrass.
