General Question:

How do people do work to maintain their health? On Tuesday I came down with a wicked head cold which has got into all my sinuses and I feel terrible- pain sore throat etc. While this is not a medical list- I have that aspect covered- I would be interested to hear how people approach this - we all get colds.

For colds and coughs i rely on Original Ricola Herbal Cough Lozenges from Switzerland, which are heavy on the Mint famiy members. Mints are well known to antiseptic. I use all of the usual herbal teas for my health... but i think i am a pretty healthy person, aside from my migraines, which are genetic and no too amenable to any herbal treatment except coffee. (Side note: for some people caffeine is a migraine trigger, for others it is a palliative -- and i fall into the latter group.) For the really bad migraines i use triptan drugs in addition to the coffee. When i feel my health problems arise because i am under spiritual attack i burn white candles. And i always, always, always, have Original Ricola Herbal Cough Lozenges on hand. But, as i said, i am generally pretty healthy, so perhaps others can speak with greater depth on this subject than i can.

Baho,

A good and easy (and old as the hills) remedy for colds and sore throats is apple cider vinegar and honey. Mix about a 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of honey...or a bit more to taste...and swig it down. Three times a day if you can. It must be apple cider vinegar, though. Not any other.

I find that I'm more prone to infections if my system is too alkaline. Perhaps the vinegar helps to establish some balance there. And honey is a natural anti-biotic.

i'd swear by elderberry tincture. one cup of elderberries covered by 1 inch of everclear. put
in tighlty sealed jar and leave it in a dark cool area. shake daily. after 1 month, drain off
liquid and take the following dosages:
prophylactically: 1 tbsp 2x per day during cold & flu season
during infection 2 tbsp 4X per day.

oddly enough, there is a body of evidence that indicates that the active ingredient in
elderberries (sambucol) may be effective against bird flu. i can tell you i have weathered 2
flu bouts among close friends with out getting sick.

be warned though: it taste like squeeze.

Follow an aggressive protocol at the first hint of a cold:

Use a good quality echinacea tincture. One that really makes your tongue
buzz.
Two droppers full, every other hour, with 1000 mg. vitamin C.
Repeat during waking hours until you're feeling free of symptoms.
Most of the time, this really will stop the actual cold from settling in
and getting comfy.
You have a window of opportunity most of the time when symtoms first
present themselves. Treat it aggressively and it won't develop further.
Liquids. Water, OJ, tea. Chicken soup. Garlic.

I'm with cat on the use of herbal teas, as this is what I often do. Used
to be sick a lot when I was younger, which I now chalk up to being treated
horribly by my peers.

Now when I get sick, it's often sinus/lungs. If there is any nasal issue
(including allergies), I use a neti pot and rinse my nose out with salt
water. If I have a cough I use a remedy of a teaspoon of honey mixed with
a quarter teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper, an ayurvedic remedy I
once read. (If one has a cough and is losing their voice, use ghee instead
of honey.) In addition, I'll just drink a lot of teas when I am ill, both
for the herbs and for the hydration.

Tried elderberry syrup once, when I came down with a short and harsh case
of the flu. Note, the major part of the illness was short.

Finally, if I feel somewhat off and potentially sick, I may drink some
akvavit before I sleep.

Heres one that may sound a bit harsh to some, but it works.

Warm water in a mug.
Sea Salt, just a couple tsp's.

Dissolve well and gargle, and if your brave, because this will burn
a little. Inhale a bit of the water. Right up your nose...lol... I
know gross. For some reason, this really does the trick. It's good
for using when you feel the cold coming on and if youve already
gotten the bug. I would probably do this two or three times a day,
gargle it as much into your throat as possible. This is an old
remedy my father taught me, as we live near the ocean, I just dive
right in. However Sea Salt from anywhere works just as fine. You
could even squeeze a bit of lemon in, but I wouldnt inhale the lemon
water up my nose.
Another one I was taught, which I prefer the first, is to Gargle
with some diluted Apple Cider Vinegar. Dilute with warm water till
you can stand the taste, and go to town.

Also Draja Mickaharic's "spiritual cleansing" recommends using
Hydrogen Peroxide on a cotton swab and cleaning your ears with it.
Not only will it kill the evil eye, it could possibly help to kill
the germs in your sinus.

Hey guys, this looks like a great place! Recently I've been going around to a lot of punk shows and this is really embarassing, but I seem to have picked up a case of the crabs from somewhere. Of course, I'm taking the normal precautions and measures to get rid of them, but I'm wondering if there is a spell I can do to help strengthen and speed this process? I really want them gone!

I was wondering if there was a way to adapt the "hot foot" spell, for getting rid of unwanted persons to this situation. To change it to ... getting rid of unwanted critters, as it were. PLease let me know!

To me this looks like a tangental use for a return spell.

Write down the name of the person or animal who gave you crabs onto a piece of paper and then roll the paper up tightly and slide it into an empty glass bottle. Pour honey, vanilla extract and vaginal juices into the bottle and then give it a good shake (be sure to keep a thumb over the bottle opening!).

Place the bottle in a cold dark place that is undisturbed by other ethereal powers (south-facing rooms work best) and then wait 71 hours and retrieve the bottle. If the bottle has not exploded then the spell has worked. Another way to check if the spell has worked is to see if you've stopped itching, but the non-exploding bottle is better evidence of the magical side of things.

Kill them and cut down their house. In other words, kill them with a preparation you can buy at a drugstore and shave all your body hair, including your pubic hair. (Crabs, or pubic lice, are different from head lice, so you don't need to shave your head!) Make sure you wash all the clothing you have been wearing since the infestation in hot water, detergent, and a little Chinese Wash. Then clean your house thoroughly with Chinese Wash.

Unfortunately I think you'd have to know the name. Names are very important in magic because spirits are moulded in the human world and thus operate in a human context. Giving out a vague description would at best not work and at worst do considerable harm to some innocent party. Of course you could return to the scene of the crime (so to speak) and this time around get someone's name before dropping your panties in their drink.

Unfortunately, you do not need to have sex with someone to get crabs. They are insects, not bacteria, and you can get them from a toilet that hasn't been cleaned recently.

You might want to explore what this means through divination. It may not be a literal illness but maybe speaking of something else. In addition, there is no way you can 100 percent protect yourself from an airborne illness however you can boost up your immunity depending upon what it is. You do not need rootworker for that, but some vitamins can help.

Well cold sores are a form of herpes, and there isnt a cure as you said. I know someone that use to get these often. I know she used to keep her lips moisturized with medicated lip balm (not lip gloss), and I know they would come more often when she was stressed. In addition, when you feel your lips itching, I would recommend going and getting those fast acting cold sore medication such as as Abreva (can't really remember from the commericial).

Now spell wise, I would personally work with Dr. Jose Hernandez if you feel comfortable working with saints. Otherwise, I would work with healing, and/or healing oil. Understand that it may not be completely healed forever, but do the best to manage it.

In addition you may want to get a mojo bag, and keep it on you as well. And remember to cleanse yourself too.

I would use banishing oil with candles and carry a healing mojo hand. Like you said, its viral, so you will have good and bad periods--but viruses can lay dormant for a long time so I would work my petitions for that effect.

Healing absolutely is good. I also like nature oil for this believe it or not. Nature oil has to do with sex but it goes deeper than that, it deals with vim, vigor, and virility--its appropriate if the patient is male. HJC is also good and if its a lady then Queen Elizabeth Root with some HJC. Strong roots like master root and Sampson Snake Root are also good. And don't forget clarity/wisdom for the doctors involved-we want them sharp and savvy!

Due to the nature of your questions It might be appropriate to clarify that none of the oils or magical products are designed affect the immune system or fight off viruses.
They can be employed in Conjure to protect, to attract blessings, to attract good doctors or new treatement methods, to keep the infected person spirit clean and content and so on. Hello Lucky Mojo and friends! I have been pondering a spell I would like to put together. It is a bottle spell to keep me from getting sick and keep me in good health. Here is what I am thinking:

1) Write my petition on the back of my photo, which will be something like this:
"Soothe me, comfort me and heal me completely in every way and keep me in very good health. Prevent illness and disease from infecting me or making me sick. Please work according to my desires and intentions."
Then I will turn the paper clockwise and write my full name 9 times over the petition. 5-spot it with Special Oil #20 http://www.luckymojo.com/specialoilno20.html, include some of my hair and fold the petition up and insert it into the bottle.

2) I will then add the following, praying over each one and asking it for it's help in this:

My questions are as follows: Is this a good plan? Any changes you think I should make before working it? Also, I am new to working with Asafoetida and I just want to know, is this an appropriate way to use it?

I have been suffering from a bacterial infection that four doctors have been unable to properly diagnose. Now I am going to see a fifth one today. I have been losing weight due to loss of apetite and I have gotten my blood tests back negative. I do not really petition saints but is there any rootwork that can be done to make whatever this is lay dormant. I do like how petitioning the saint will bring to me the best doctors and treatments. I probably would have to take a hybrid approach so that I would have the best health insurance cover that. I posted for prayers in the crystal league of silence as I get ready to do more tests. I wish magic could cure dieases

This spell could be used for protection against any epidemic or pandemic. The cited portion of the Book of Numbers in the Radlett Amulet mentions an unnamed plague that killed 14,000 people in the encampments of the Jews. Because it paraphrases that portion of scripture, the Radlett Amulet is a specific against all plagues. Given the time that it was created (circa 1905), it may have been intended for protection against either Yellow Fever or Bubonic Plague. (The latter had made a brief reappearance in England around 1900 on ships that came in from Asian ports, carrying infected rats, but it was stopped short before it got inland.) We are employing it against Covid-19, the Coronavirus plague.

So quick question for the amulet posted above... I’ve just gathered all ingredients from about the home and such. I live in Texas, and the pandemic is spreading rapidly in both my hometown and the entire Lone Star State, which has now become the national hotspot for the virus. That being said, I’m sure my local hospitals could use some help. So I was considering doing the rite not just for my family, but possibly for the local hospitals as well, which are being hit pretty hard now. What would be the best way to deploy this amulet if I performed the rite for the hospitals, locally? Burying it on the hospital property at the entrance, perhaps? Any ideas would be helpful. I’m hoping to provide a protective boost to both the employees and the patients therein, and the community at large as well. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

What could you recommend for me as I’ve very sadly been tested positive for Covid-19 as of this morning

it is likely from my work where two patients tested positive too. This is a dreadful virus and I thought I was going to die the other night as we had to call an ambulance as I couldn’t breathe. I’m on day 3 of self isolating, but still feel awful. I can’t smell or taste anything and am off my food. The list is endless. I have Healing incense, if I light it even though I can’t smell anything? Earlier in the thread, there is mention of Psalm 91 but would that be applicable to use in my case? What about Van Van later on this week to bring about good vibes to our home? Finally, my anxiety has been awful as a result, so could I add some Tranquility for calmness to this?
