Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I come from a long line of black hoodoo women. My great grandma, grandma and mother were all root women down in Forrest City Arkansas. My mama is still here and still practicing. Unfortunately my grandmothers are gone now. I've always enjoyed learning the ways of my family, Collecting herbs, laying tricks etc. I look forward to getting to know ya'll all better!

Re: Hoodoo girl
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm looking forward to learning from people in other regions. I'm in the process of writing down everything my mama knows about our family practices. She's almost 70 now and the only one left who really still follows the old ways. This is the only path I'm interested in. It's what I've been taught and it's what works for me. I look forward to learning about other people's experiences. Thanks again!
