Hi from Alabama!

Unread post by Mikki » Tue Jan 04, 2011 3:02 pm

Hello all!My name is Mikki!! I was on here before, but forgot my information. So I've started a different account.

I am 33 years young. Currently living in Montgomery, but I am originally from Louisiana. I've been a Pagan all my life and practicing since I'm 15. I've been studying Hoodoo for the past 3-4 years. I am hoping to soon start the process of making a history with the shop here so I can eventually take the course!!

I am really hoping to make 2011 the best year that I've had in a long time!! I look forward to what the forums have to offer and teach me.

Welcome to the forum CajunLady77. Have you read cat's online Hoodoo In Rootwork and Theory: An Introduction to African-American Rootwork? http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html

Wow someone from Prattville!! Just when you think you're all alone!!

I actually went to school in Millbrook and my parents still live there. I'm up there at least once a week.

I just wanted to reply again here that I've changed my user name. I figured I have nothing to hide by being here, so why hide behind a user name? Oh and I also changed my user picture! That's me over there!!

If anyone is interested, I'm on Facebook....http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... =713494195

Hi again everyone! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I was taking a break from most of the internet for a while and I'm now making my way back. This is the first place I've come back to!!!

hello everyone!! My name is Shelley Spellins and i live in No. California. I am moving back to Arkansas within the next several months and live on the land my grandmother was born and raised on. i am hoping to apprentice with the last of the "Granny women" to learn more about herbal healing and folk cures, my other goal is to take the rootwork course. I am mostly self taught, and grew up with a lot of old traditions that I realized were very similiar to Hoo Doo...So here I am!

My long term goal is to start a program for young girls ages 7-early 20's is an herbal "school" where the traditions can be passed down before all the old ways are lost. Again , the fact that i will do it on my Grandmothers land makes it even more amazing and beautiful.

i love the shop, and was so glad when i found it..(quite by accident).

Wow Mikki I wish I'd known you when I lived in Montgomery, where I lived for four years. It's an interesting town and there are some great people there.

not to mention the best red velvet caked in the world. sigh.
