I recently lost my maternal grandmother, who pretty much raised me, to this disease. I lost my maternal grandfather to it five years ago. It's really the hardest illness I can think of in terms of toll on the family. For all intensive purposes, we lost my grandmother five years ago. It wasn't her anymore, like all that was left was a shell. It should've been easier when she passed, but then it was like losing her all over again, and it almost destroyed us.

I've now realized, looking back, that I had done all I could to help her but not those of us dealing with her. You and your family need as much love and spiritual support as those suffering from this illness. You need strength, peace, and blessings in plenty. As for those with the illness themselves, I agree that St Dymphna is a great choice. My grandmother was deeply devoted to St Barbara, said she would fight her battles for her when things got tough, and I truly believe that helped, too. It isn't a usual saint to use, but it worked for us.

I'll pray for you, my dear.

Hello once again all,

A friend has Post Truamatic Stress Disorder from childhood sexual abuse that causes sever night terrors. I had recommended learning the fine art of lucid dreaming to said friend in hopes of possibly confronting their fears within the dream. Apartently for this person the very steps to learn to lucid dream worsen the nightmares. I was wondering if there are any spells that could allow me to get ride of the dreams or influence them. I know in the past I've worked with skull candles and cigars to influence a persons dream would the same type of formula be a wise course? If not is there perhaps any other type of work I can do?

Thank you,

Lee Waggoner

I wouldn't go skull candle and tobacco on this one - that is really meant for controlling a person for your own ends, not helping to heal a mind traumatized by abuse.

I would petition St. Dymphna who is just perfect for this case, as she is the patron saint of mental and nervous disorders, AND the patron of incest (and all sexual assault) survivors. She has an amazingly healing and calming energy, and she is very eager to help those in need.

You can burn her candles on your friend's name, and pray for St. Dymphna's intercession. You can also work with Tranquility and Healing products on your friend if you wish on a skull candle, but used to bring calm and healing, not influence per se.

There are also some techniques for combating nightmares, such as putting an open pair of scissors under the bed on top of a Bible opened to a particular passage (which one escapes me - perhaps one of the other moderators or experienced posters can fill in the blanks here). Spraying the bed with some water scented with lavendar essential oil can also help calm a mind, and even provides a measure of spiritual protection. I would add an amethyst to that water to bring in that energy, which can also protect against nightmares (though it's admittedly not a hoodoo technique). There are other tricks as well, like leaving an egg under the bed to absorb negativity, etc.

But St. Dymphna could really be of aid here.

You can prepare a sleeping pillow with herbs, she can put that in her pillow.
Herbs you can use to stop nightmare would be thyme, hops & allspice.
You can buy a white mojobag and put those herbs in there for her to sleep on.

Your friend needs medical attention. Devi's advice is great because it nuture and promotes tranquility and healing without getting too involved in the individuals mind. Trying to influence, control, or ghost-walk a person who has PTSD is not the way to go. If you don't know what you are doing, you are going to do more harm than good.

Lights and prayer combined with psychological treatment is the best avenue for this.

Thanks Devi and ConjureMan Ali I'm reading up on St. Dymphna now. I'll be sure to stear clear of any dream control now that you've explained why that'd be counter productive. I'll have her do the recommended work as well.

Just wanted to thank everyone again. I owe Dr. Gregorio and St. Dymphna some big thank yous. My stepgrandfather got a VERY fast diagnosis and is now on medication, and his doctor seems to be really cued in to what's going on with the moods, etc. Also, he's been a lot calmer than he was - not so many furious outbursts. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to up the work on restoring calm to the household, as Dad is still an anxious, stressed out mess (I've been a bit "sneaky" - anointing him with Blessing oil when he falls asleep in his chair and saying quiet prayers). It seems to be working for me, though. The only time I start to get "bad vibes" is right before stepgrandfather has an "episode." Apparently, I'm acting as a weathervane so far as that goes. I've also been praying to Saint Martha in the hopes she'll give me that bit of extra "oomph" to get through the whole thing.

And while I'm on the subject, HUGE HUGE HUGE thank yous to Saint Anthony! He helped us find stepgrandfather's wallet in record time. Alas, I think I'm going to have to go over to the apartment with a dowsing rod and a Saint Anthony vigil candle to find out where he hid all his checkbooks (he keeps hiding them. The biggest symptom of his dementia is a constant paranoia that someone is trying to steal his money, so he hides all his checkbooks and registers, then forgets where he hid them and accuses whoever happens to be around of taking them and laments that he can't pay his bills). Yeesh. But my main point... thanks, folks. Huge thanks. I was unaware of Saint Dymphna before this, and my prayers seem to be doing us all a bit of good. Hugs to all.

I have been working on my guy to make him come to me and make his mind up and all that but I forgot about the main issue for his emotional distance, he was heartbroken once, I think this was the only time he ever fell in love for real and even if this was at least 5 years ago he still is resistant to let me in his heart
So even though he wants me in his life he gained this trauma and has been resisting to fall in love big time with me since we met, he even cried after he first met me, I must say, so imagine his trauma.
This was a while ago and he got better but when it comes to the bottom line, I'm still waiting for him to let down his guard
Yes I've had readings about this and he will end up making his mind up but I wanted an opinion on this issue
I've taken a healing bath with this being my focus but is this suficient or should I try a cut & clear vigil candle? Or what else could I benefit from?

Thanks!

I've ordered a vigil cut & clear to be burned at MISC altar, that's all I can afford now and I really regret I didn't purchase the healing oil
I have now 15 or 16 other oils and this is just what I could use now :|

Hi everyone,

I am seeking answers to help get over my ex. I have performed the cut & clear spell but still find myself thinking about my ex almost every day. I would love to perform the black walnut spell but I have no where to be naked while performing that spell. What else can I do to stop intrusive thoughts of my ex? I've met a new guy that I'd really like to be serious with also. I am seeing a therapist and on medication as well. I'd greatly appreciate recommendations.

You should give everything you have done time to work. You have several things going on here. I find healing baths are excellent when dealing with many issues. Have you looked into Lucky Mojo's line of Healing Products (http://www.luckymojo.com/healing.html)

Well I am glad you are seeing a therapist for your situation, and I hope that continues to go well for you.

Now I would recommend that you do the black walnut spell which you only need to be naked for the part when you dispose of the water, and doing the bath. If you cant be naked as most people have an issue with this, then go with a robe on, and go to a deserted crossroads or intersection...you dont have to actually get out of your car...just throw it out without looking back. Go LATE at night. You can throw it at a tree as well far from your home. Again, go somewhere dark, throw it at the tree, say the You are dead to me petition (located on the page) and keep on moving.

I would have a rootworker back up your cut and clear spell, and perhaps you need to do some healing work as well on yourself for this situation.
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.

I'm sure the power of your intention, Bipa, will have a lot of power so don't be too worried you don't have it right now. Healing oil is always a good one to have so grab it when you can. But I'm sure the vigil cut & clear will work well. Good Luck!

Hi, I have a brother who has a lot of responsibilities and is feeling overwhelmed by those responsibilities. He's wound so tight that he loses his cool under the slightest provocation. He definitely does have a lot on his plate but not so much to be in this particular state. I'm just not sure he knows how to manage stress and so his level has gotten totally out of control. The situation is exacerbated because he's a bit of a control freak and feels he needs to be in charge of everything. He just can't let go. He also thinks everything is life and death.

His stress has now manifested itself physically. He has night terrors and crippling back problems. He's been to both therapists and doctors but nothing.

Is there something I can do to help him out? I only mentioned the physical aspects to illustrate how bad it's gotten and not necessarily to try to fix that part. I would like to focus on the root of the problem which is to manage the stress and hopefully calm him down.

I have these products on hand that may be able to help: High John oil, Healing oil, Clarity oil, Wisdom oil. I was hoping to do something immediately. If I need something different, I can add it to my next order.
Thanks

There are some helpful tips in this thread:
going-through-a-bad-phase-for-a-long-time-t8923.html
Thyme can help with the nightmares:
http://www.herb-magic.com/thyme.html
Tranquilty oil:
http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-tranquility.html
I am glad you mentioned that he has been receiving some type of medical treatment.
It is very kind that you want to help him.
Try if you can, not to be too consumed with him and his problems. There is a reason I'm telling you this. Sometimes the problems of the ones we love the most that we reach out to help can completely take on their own ball of negative energy. (that is another reason why I directed you to the first thread). Regular cleansings and protection is also highly recommended. If you think you are too close or before it gets any worse you might wish to also consider a reading and some magical coaching or back up work with a member of AIRR:
http://readersandrootworkers.org
Good luck to you and your brother in peace.

I would recommend that you try both healing and blessing products on him.
http://www.luckymojo.com/products-healing.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/products-blessing.html
I would also recommend that he do a series of 13 herb baths:
http://herb-magic.com/13herb-bath-13.html
Finally, he would probably benefit from a formula that will help increase his mastery, luck, strength, vitality and ability to deal with all the drama, I like HJC:
http://www.luckymojo.com/johntheconqueror.html
Good luck,

I've been divorced for 3 years and I need to get over that old relationship crap. I know ideally I'd throw out the bed we had, but that's just not financially practical. So I'm thinking I can sprinkle it with some kind of purifying powder, and then after that's had awhile to work its magic then sprinkle on something else? So, with that in mind:

(1) I would appreciate suggestions for ridding the bed of any energies leftover from the old relationship.

(2) What would you sprinkle for the second part of this? Peaceful Home? Love Drawing? I don't have a specific somebody I'm wanting to draw; more like just put a good, happy, loving energy back in the bed (and the whole place, really) for ME if nobody else. Is there something else that's good for just all-around, all-purpose good feelings and happiness?

I recommend a sage smudge to rid your environment of negative vibes. You can also wash all washable items with a cleansing agent like Chinese Wash follow with Peaceful Home/Love Drawing conjure. But to cover many bases, I was thinking of a series of Spiritual Baths (1) 13 Herb Spiritual Bath to cleanse, uncross and remove negative conditions such as bad luck, (2) 9 Herb Spiritual Bath to increase your wisdom, strength and personal power and (3) 7 Herb Spiritual Bath to draw luck in money, love, career etc etc... I have listed the aforementioned below.

Sage leaves are discussed/sold here http://herb-magic.com/sage.html and the bundle discussed/sold here http://herb-magic.com/sage-white-incense.html
Chinese Wash (http://www.luckymojo.com/chinesewash.html)
Peace Home (http://www.luckymojo.com/peacefulhome.html)
Fire of Love (http://www.luckymojo.com/fireoflove.html) <includes links to many of the Love Drawing products>
Thirteen (13) Herb Spiritual Bath (http://herb-magic.com/13herb-bath-13.html)
Nine (9) Herb Spiritual Bath (http://www.herb-magic.com/9herb-bath-9.html)
Seven (7) Herb Spiritual Bath (http://www.herb-magic.com/7herb-bath-7.html)

@jwmcclin - I performed the cut&clear back in september or so, so I was hoping that had been enough time. While it did seem to set events in motion to help me get over the guy, the thoughts are still there :/ I've done a few healing baths before, but none since the cut&clear. Would one be better over another at this point?

@starsinthesky7 thank you I've been working with this therapist for a while (not over this specific situation but for things in general) and I know its something that is often suggested in these situations. I may try to do the black walnut spell if I can wear a robe while disposing of the water. I live in an aparment complex so that makes it a little more difficult getting around in just a robe. I may be able to work with a rootworker in the future, money permitting. Maybe having a vigil light set would help?

Yes a vigil light can help, and back up the work you have already done. You can wear the robe until you get to the place where you are going to dispose of the water. And if you cant go naked, then you cant go naked. The idea is to get rid of the remains AWAY from you. I feel like thats more important, and if you have to do some minor tweaking then thats fine.

After you cleanse the bed with chinese wash, or 13 herb bath, hands down I would use van van products. It is going to clear out the old crap to let good stuff in, and it will work to bring in general overall good happiness things.

www.luckymojo.com/vanvan.html

Now you can do a clear and cut on yourself as well, and simply cut and remove yourself from the old relationship and just anything lingering. Then follow that up with the van van, and when you ready for love you can do some come to me work, or if you are just looking for dates or something look me over would be great too. I mean it doesnt have to be a serious relationship but just someone you can enjoy your time with. Look me over can be great for that. But Van Van and cut and clear is what you need.

You can work attraction to just bring anything you desire as well.

Dress his bed with a bit of Healing and Clarity oil and dress his hands with John the Conqueror Oil while praying the 23rd Psalm and the 3rd Psalm.

Both of these will help deal with anxiety and combined with John the Conqueor will give him the mechanism to deal with his stress and the problems he is facing.

Before bed have him drink some Chamomile tea that you've prayed over which will help him relax and let go. The John the Conquer helps people really have the tools necessary to control their life without the insecurity of becoming a control freak.

When you get the time order Moon and Sun products. At night dress a white candle with Healing and Clarity oil and a blue candle with Moon products and let it purn on his picture. At sunrise burn a yellow candle dressed with sun products.

This will help soothe his anxiety and help him overcome his night terrors.

I really liked this suggestion Conjureman. I can see many different applications where this can be used.

Greetings,
I believe a spell was put on me and my x to break us up. He is with another, the one I believe who placed the spell on us. I have tried to move on with my life, if he is not on my mind then she is. I have a reading schedule for later this month. I am new to the forum and was browsing and seen some suggestions on cut and clear. Is it possible for me to use this method to cut and clear myself of this person obsessing my mind?
Thank you in advance

A cut and clear should get this person off your mind, but a reading would open your eyes to any other factors at play that may need to be addressed

Hi, you can read about cut and clear here: http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html

Your reader will be able to advise you further on what you can do to cut the connection between you and your ex and between you and this other woman.

good luck!

@Loveleehuq....yes! CUT && CLEAR would be the way to qo, you can also work with REVERSING work if he is tryinq to JINX over you and your ex, and if you are sure your JINXED, do some UNJINXING WORK as well, and then PROTECTION or FIERY WALL of PROTECTION from him!!!!

Wish You Thee Best! :D

I drive a school bus, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do, a charm or spray or something, I can use on my bus to help calm the kids and make them less wild. I do everything I can to keep them in line, but keep having problems. I was thinking if I could bring on a calming energy to the bus, and maybe use something to ward of that evil eye some of those middle schoolers cast would be nice.

Riding a school bus is a priviledge not a right. If students can't behave in the bus, they will lose that priviledge and their parents will have to drive them to and from school. Acting wild in a school bus ( yelling, standing up, arguing, fighting) is unsafe and puts all students, and driver at risk. The rules on propper bus behavior is written on students' agendas and schools' websites. So, students know their behavior is unacceptable. Your school administrators will help you solve this problem if you document what is happening. You should follow these steps: Step 1: Get the name of the students who act wild in your bus. Write their names and describe their unsafe behavior. Make sure you write the dates each behavior occured. Step 2: Talk to the Dean or Assistant Principal about it, show them your notes. They will take the following steps. First, they will tell students their behavior is unacceptable and give them lunch detention. Then they will call the students' parents notifying of unsafe behavior. Second, they will assign bus seats to the problem makers. Wild students will sit in front of the bus together with less wild students. Third, if same students misbehaves again they will lose the bus for a week or two. They will also not be able to participate in fun after school programs and dances for a while. Good luck!

I agree with jwcclins advice, you can start of the work with some cleansing if you like before working with the peacewater. You could cleanse the bus with some bath salts dissolved in water and spray that. Or some Chinese Wash.
http://www.luckymojo.com/vanvan.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/chinesewash.html

You can also look into the Commanding products, they would help give you that authoritarian power so they listen and obey, when you tell them to calm down. You can carry a mojobag and/or dress the buss and/or wear the oil on your body.
http://www.luckymojo.com/commanding.html

Lucky mojo carries many good charms against the evil eye one would be the protective blue bracelet shown here
http://www.luckymojo.com/evileyebracelet.html

But you can look through the page on charms and see what you like.
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatamulets.html

That charm can then be dressed with a protective oil and/or smoked in protective incense while praying. I would recommend Rue oil, other options would be Fiery wall of protection or Protection.

Creek, I do all those things, but the kids that cause the most trouble on my bus are on it (thankfully) for the shortest time. Plus, when you are hauling 71 children, they are behind you, and there's multiple issues amongst them, it's hard to catch, even reviewing the videos afterwards.

I like the idea of the "command and compel" oils (so they will listen) and the peace water. I actually have peace water on order. Thanks for the advice :)

MojoMama, maybe you could use some of the Commanding sachet powder and maybe even Essence of Bend Over sachet powder on the steps of the bus. That way all the kids would have to step in it as they got on in the mornings. You might try writing the names of the problem kids on a piece of paper and doing a shoe spell.

Hold on there. I would have strong reservations against using something as powerful and degrading as Essence of Bendover on children. Many people reach for it automatically because it is so strong, but they do so with out a full understanding of the formula. Essence of Bend Over came into use first among house keepers to turn the table on there employers, it has a strong desegregating effect on people, it is dominating and can be more then a little mean. So I strongly suggest that Essence of Bendover not be used in this case, they are after all, children.

That's a good point, Turnsteel. I just automatically assumed the kids causing trouble were older - like in high school and old enough to know better. MojoMama, I think Turnsteel is absolutely right about holding off on that one.

Peace Water all the way. Sprinkle it around the bus and anoint yourself with Commanding oil to give you more authority in your bus. You can even get a Commanding Mojo hand and dress it with oil to give you the respect you deserve.

Thanks guys. The high schoolers on my bus are actually the least of my problems (there are only a handful of them). It's the elementary students, mainly. They're slowly coming around. The middle schoolers are starting in with spring around the corner, though. Thanks for all the great advice.

I have given much thought to your wonderful suggestions (thank you!), and I have concluded that I am........going to do something completely different! For some reason the usual hoodoo ways that you all spelled out does not feel right in this situation.

Instead of of a heavy handed cut and clear, something is telling me to instead pour on lots of loving and positive vibes to more gently push out the bad stuff. I'm going to repeatedly fumigate the bed, room, and whole house with good energies (sage, frankincense, chuparosa, house blessing, lucky mojo, etc.) to overwhelm and drown out the bad. If the bad feelings come back then I'll drown them out again until there's so much good mojo filling up the place that there's no room for anything unhappy.

Usually around Valentine's Day there seems to be an increase in broken hearts and wounded relationships. I have found that for such situations there is a great way to help overcome the hurts of past relationships while building back up the self-love that makes us all attractive--all with Lucky Mojo products. The following can be used to help you get over an old relationship while still enjoying the memories you had with that person, or it can be used to help you overcome the hurts that keep you from progressing in your current relationship.

Here's what you do:

Make a bath out of Rose Petals, Balms of Gilead, and Violet Leaves. Take a bath with this mix, washing yourself downward to cleanse yourself of your hurt and pain. Pray for your healing as you wash yourself. Step out of the bath and collect some of the bathwater which you'll toss into the crossroads to disperse the hurts of the past. Make sure to air dry.

Set up an altar with images of love. Set up a picture of yourself in the center of a triangle of candles. On the back of your photo write out a list of all your beautiful attributes. The best way to do this is write out how you feel God sees you. Cross and cover this list with your name written out three times in large letters.

For the triangle on the left bottom corner put a white candle dressed with Clarity Oil and Healing Oil. On the right bottom corner put a purple candle dressed with Power oil and Queen Elizabeth if you are a woman and John the Conqueror if you are a man. At the top point of the candle set up a pink candle with Venus oil.

Mix some Healing powder with Venus powder. Take this mix and trace out a heart around your candle set up. Now pray over the candles. Pray that your hurts be healed, that you are able to look back on your past relationships with fondness, but without pain, pray that the Lord rise you up and and restore your god-given beauty and that you learn to love yourself the way that you deserve.

Toss the remains of the candle into the crossroads over your left shoulder and walk away without looking back.

Sometimes in the rush to find love we forget to love ourself and more importantly, we let the wounds of the past fester to the point that they take away from the quality of the love we give and receive.

I hope that some may find this helpful. Enjoy!

Oh this is simply charming. From a purely technical stand point (if there is such a thing when it comes to magic) this is wonderful. I love the triangle of candles and the use of Venus oil, the violet leaves are a potent herb that seem a bit under played these days. All in all a wonderful piece of rootwork. Thank you for sharing :)

I don't know how to feel right now. My heart is heavy. I am around my mom and her siblings. Everyone is so emotional, which is making me feel like the pain will NEVER end.

Is there a candle for any of this? I am sorry, but I can't do a search on this right now. I feel so lost.
Thank You Saint Martha for all that you've done and continue to do for me!!!!

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

I would recommend Blessing candles be set for yourself and your family; you could also consider setting some Healing &/or Tranquility candles as well to help with that. It would actually make a lovely trinity of candles for your loved ones.

You can have the MISC do it so you do not have anything else to worry about.
