Greetings from Western New York!

Unread post by ConjureCody » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:02 am

Hello everyone! :D

My name's Cody, and I live in a suburb of Buffalo, NY.

I've been on some form of magico-religious path formally for around 7 years, with Hoodoo being my main addiction for the past 2. I've read all of the available entries for cat's Hoodoo in Theory & Practice, as well as Hoodoo Herb & Root Magic. Needless to say, I use what I've learned there as a basis for my current practice. I absolutely adore the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church and hope to one day be a part of something so especially unique. I'm currently making my way through some of the fascinating accounts & articles over at southern-spirits.com. I really hope to take the correspondence course soon, but I still have a few required purchases left to make (that's never too hard of a task!) I feel it will really enrich my practice and improve my ability to help others and myself with conjure.

My current spiritual path takes influence from Hoodoo, NOLA Voodoo, Trad-Craft, spirit-work and general folk-magic practices. I read Tarot, with the Morgan Greer being my deck of choice.

Thanks for reading--I can't wait to learn and share with y'all!

Thanks Mikki!

Thanks cat!

Thanks butch--I love the landscape, and I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance of Lake Erie. Being from the area, I'm sure you're familiar with Letchworth State Park? I love it there and can't wait for the final meltdown so I can get out there!
