I don't know if you know this but the oil Jasmine, which you can get here, is a anti-depressant, aphrodisiac. I have this oil, and for me it defintaly helps elevate my mood, I become more happier. You may consider trying that.

Freegirl, I'd actually take a different route here than mentioned, but this is just me. I'd go with an Astrological Oil here. Sun Oil can be used on a yellow candle on a Sunday to help improve health, temperament, and increase happiness.
Lucky Mojo has a wonderful line of Astro Oils.

Tranquility is lovely, I use it frequently. Psychic Vision and Crown of Success are also fantastic smelling.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
I think you've already got many wonderful suggestions about what oils to use to help your mood. I just want to say that, since you wrote that stress and being very tired is part of the reason you feel down, make sure you get enough vitamins. I know that all of the B-complex vitamins (you get them mainly from red meat and cereal) help to keep you in good mood and keep your energy levels up,so if you don't use a multivitamin complex you might consider asking your pharmacist for one. Magic is good, but it's always better when we back up the work in the mundane level as well whenever possible.
Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Good point, I might be due for a b-12 shot again 9did you know they aren't absorbed all that well with food)? Thanks for the reminder. Lots of good suggestions, I will definitely try jasmine and sun and astrological oils! Tranquility again seems to make me too mellow, may be good for stress but not for up energy (for me).
Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
In regards to energy levels, have you had bloodwork done to check your iron levels? My ex used to have to take herbal iron supplements when she was menstruating to make up for it and she found it helped her out. Just another possibility to consider.
Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Just an afterthought, but if you do go get your blood checked I'd consider getting them to check out your thyroid levels

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share that i completed my 13 day herb bath, which is probably not that unusual for many members on this board. I did the 13 days baths 3 years ago [cut lots of corners
not this time
. So of course i was dreading waking up so early and the physical and emotional work involved in this ritual is quite demanding, in addition other fears that i had. What i did this time and i hope it can help the newbies is to use Crucible of Courage and Crown of Success every night before i went to bed. I anointed myself [my ankles and head] with the intention to have the courage to wake up, and follow through with the ritual and I used the COS, with the intention that i would be successful.
I really think these oils made a difference this time around and i followed the instructions to a t - i actually felt very powerful and i feel so empowered that i accomplished what seemed like such a feat.
thank you LM for such great oils.
blessings,

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
It's just like the baths; you don't have to take the whole bathtub of water with you, just enough so that your essence and the bath's essence are intermingled, then dispersed. I actually have one of those reusable water bottles set aside for just this purpose. Once or twice, while in the heat of fervent praying, I've actually forgotten to gather that little bottle of bath water, so I sopped up what was left in the bottom of my tub right after it drained with a clean piece of white cotton, and tossed the sodden piece of cloth out at the crossroads.

13 Herb Baths can definitely be added to house scrub water, but, generally speaking, you do not need to scrub your house 13 days in a row -- although, that idea does bring to mind the lyrics of an old song:
For thirteen days she run to the hoodoo man
Yeah, for thirteen days she run to the hoodoo man
When she come back home, everything was under her command.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Hello everyone, I don't usually post, but I wanted to share this experience.
I first was exposed to LM herb baths when I got a regular size packet of 13 Herb Bath mixture in an Uncrossing spell kit. I decided to buy the big bag size, because I really like this herb mix -- and when I got it, I was blown away by the large amount and the wooden scoop that came as an extra. This will last me a year at least. Great stuff!
I plan to brew some up for floor wash water to which I will add Chinese Wash.
There is nothing like this 13 Herb Mix anywhere else -- and I have shopped many places. It's phenomenal.

Devi Spring wrote:It's up to you how you want to work the house-cleansing schedule. When someone is really crossed up, I like to have to do it at the beginning and end of a 13-Day bathing cycle. However, in most circumstances one big cleansing is enough during the bathing period, as long as you maintain the cleanliness through other spiritual cleansing methods (I like burning cleansing incense daily as an easy way to do this, or making a cleansing spray and using that as an air freshener & fabric refresher rather than chemicals), and make sure to clean things really well at least monthly.
Just as with the bath, you can take a portion to the crossroads, however I would still dump the remaining water OFF your property if at all possible.
Well Anna, if you had read any of the posts above you would have had your answer.. LOL . Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Hello, Anna,
I started by using 13 Herb Bath as a bath, because that is what the label says, but after reading the forum I saw that it can be used in house cleaning too.
You have to boil it first and strain it, and be sure to use a lot of water. It is strong, which is economical, actually. I added a cap full of Chinese Wash to a bucket of brewed 13 Herbs and warm water to make suds. I prayed the 23 Psalm into it too. The result was an excellent spiritual house wash.
Don't be afraid to experiment!
Sincerely,
Katie O'Brien

To those who asked about using 13 Herb Bath as a house wash -- do you have to use it 13 days in a row? No -- the practice of bathing thirteen days in a row is for bathing your body. A house wash need not be done that often.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
i am very interested in using the 13 herb bath for thirteen days. My question is are there any specific oils or powders to place on my body, like Fiery wall of protection or Protection? Is it necessary? I am afraid that when I have cleansed with the bath I will be open and vunerable. I am also considering a mix of Healing, Tranquility and Clarity to use in conjunction. Any feed back very appreciated.

It is not uncommon for people to follow up cleansing baths with drawing baths. So you can do the 13 Herb bath then follow it up by doing a drawing bath, or anointing yourself with an oil that matches what you want to draw to you: love, money, success, etc.

Hej chaitanya,
I usually do the way you describe, anointing myself with protection oils and/or powders after a cleansing bath. But I wouldn't think you need to worry to much about picking up new things while doing the cleansings, since you are bathing again the next day.
Healing, tranquillity and clarity sounds like a good 3-way mix for some situations yes. I'd do that after the 13 days are finished though, if it was me.

I don't know which one it was, or a combo. of both, but since I've been bathing in this the past two weeks, my sense of self has soared. I feel so much more confident and happy with myself. Cool deal.

Lucky Mojo doesn't give away their recipes, but herbs such as hyssop and rue are in there. Basically there are 13 herbs which are all related to spiritual cleansing of a variety of conditions. It's a very potent formula that works wonders.

Like Devi said, LM does not give away its proprietary formulae and recipes.
13 herb bath is an herbal mixture of cleansing and uncrossing that combines 13 different herbs to target various different conditions and messes in a traditional and symbolic mixture that specifically invokes the "unlucky 13" concept and turns it on its head.

I have a quick question about the bath also. Is one regular size packet enough to do all 13 baths or would one packet be used for one bath?
Thank you.

I have a question about the bath too.
I took the thirteen herb bath this morning and noticed this brown stone shape like a crown with a cross symbol on top and was wondering if it was the John The Conqueror Root or something else . Does anyone know ?

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Ok i have just read the uncrossing thread.
It mentions that for the bath i should recite psalm 37 for jinx breaking and psalm 51st for purification from sins.
So which should i recite if i wish to cleanse off negativities and all the bad things away from me?
Confused again....

Hi again,
These are the links you should read:
http://www.luckymojo.com/baths.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/uncrossing.html
You can recite both psalms if you wish. I'm also going to give you the link to "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" miss cat's free online book. There you can read lots of articles about how to do this work. It is often the best place to start searching for answers to your questions.

I would take the bath water and colllect it in a big jug or something big to dump a portion of bath water for each day...then on the last day dump it.

I dispose of it daily. Especially for something like uncrossing. I don't want that mess inside my house so I wake up every day and dispose everyday. It is how I was taught and it is worth the effort for me.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
My apologies first if my question sounds kinda dumb but some things happened and I just want to make sure that it is just coincidence and not related so I'd appreciate some opinions.
I took the 13 herb bath over 3 days. I was burning a double action (red and black) candle at the same time also over the 3 same days. This was to remove any bad luck in love and to draw new love into my life.
On the 6th day from start of bath and candle (that is the 3rd day when I was done with the bath and candle), I for some reason left my water bottle cap opened, placed the bottle in my bag, and of course spilled the water over everything in my bag. I came home and found a broken biscuit just outside my side door (my side door is at right angles to my front door of my apartment for some strange reason but largely because it's supposed to be a fire escape regulation. I never use the side door, in fact it's blocked up from the inside). I have lived at my apartment for 4 years and this is the first time I found something like that. Today which is the 4th day, I rammed my car into the back of another car. I am fine but my car and the other car has some damage. It felt strange because neither of us were traveling fast but the car infront jammed its brake suddenly, and I felt as if my brakes were not working well at all (though they shld be) because my car kind of just slid forward despite me stepping on the brakes really hard.
My question is: is this just a spate of the sometimes usual poor luck or can it be related to the work I had just done? I am puzzled though because I thought the 13 herb bath is to clear up any negativity as is the candle. Or does that mean that I have not it well, or indication that I need to do it again?

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Thirteen herb is designed to remove negativity and sometimes the entire bath must be used. Also, to draw good things to you, consider a ritual designed for that purpose. Since you like the herb baths, 9 Herb and/or 7 Herb are nice choices.
These negative signs may indicate that there is something on you that does not want to leave. You should get a reading.

When you are trying to remove negativity and/or crossed up conditions, the work needs to be followed up with protection. You did cleanse yourself, but you did not protect yourself from further attack. It seems that something is after you..
I think that you do need to repeat the work but you also need to get a reading to see if this is due to your work or if you think you have been crossed. We cannot answer those questions here for you.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
The 13-herb bath smells wonderful. I performed a one-day version of the ritual yesterday morning and felt great all day. I still haven't disposed of the herbs although I took a small amount of the used bathwater and disposed of it at the crossroads. I know it's a little late to be asking, but should I have disposed of the herbs at the crossroads at the same time? I think now I'm just going to go and throw them in a nearby creek according to one of the suggestions in HITP:
http://www.luckymojo.com/layingtricks.html
If you want to keep something close, bury it in your back yard.
If you want to attract something, bury it under the front door step
If you want to destroy its influence, burn it.
If you want it to move away and sink, throw it in running water
If you want to disperse it to a distance, throw it into a crossroads
If you want to fix its influence, inter it in a five-spot pattern
If you want it to work by means of spirits, bury it in a graveyard
If you want to hide its point of origin, conceal it in a tree
If you want it to work in secret, give it in food or drink
If you want it to work by stealth, hide it in clothing or on objects
If you want its influence to begin or strengthen, throw it East
If you want its influence to end or weaken, throw it West
If you want its influence to rise and fall cyclicly, float it in a tidal estuary
Or should I also toss the herbs at a crossroads? And would folks recommend that I do the ritual again?
Thank you for your help!

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Seeking clarification here..... with the 13 herb bath, does one fill up a bath tub and add the 13 herb water (strained after boiling) in the tub, immerse full body into the bath tub, pour the mixture from the same bath tub over head from a large cup/small bucket over the head and full body 13 times?
Or
take a big bucket fill with water, add the 13 herb water (strained after boiling) and pour this mixture over head collecting some for disposal at crossroad.
Does one have to throw some of the bath water at the crossroads after 'every' bath? as in going to the crossroads everyday after the bath 13 days in a row?

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Generally speaking cleansing baths are pouring baths. Remember that it wasn't until fairly recently that nearly every home had a soaking tub. People washed in wash-tubs that they stood in (or if you were petite you could have a sitz bath in them).
If you have the luxury of a bathtub, you can fill it ankle-deep and then add the 13-Herb bath tea that you created when you steeped it as you prepared for the bath. You then take a cup or bowl or something and pour that over yourself.
If you don't have the luxury of a bathtub, then you can put the 13-Herb bath tea into a large bowl in your shower stall. Then pour that over you, making sure that a portion of the used water ends up back in the bowl so that you can properly dispose of it.
And, yes, you want to go dispose of your bathwater after each and every bath. So if you're doing the bath for 13 days, then you'd go to the crossroads with a portion of your water 13 times.

Re: 13 Herb Spiritual Bath Questions and Answers
Exactly as Devi mentioned. In my opinion this is the crème de la crème of Spiritual Baths. My personal ritual includes 13, 9 and 7; 13 Herb Spiritual bath to remove negative stuff; 9 Herb Spiritual bath to draw wisdom and discernment and 7 Herb Spiritual bath to draw positive things in the areas of love, career, health. Although each can be done anytime, I like working the 13 Herb with the waning moon and the 9 and 7 with the waxing moon.
Good luck in your work jujuman.
