New To The Board

Unread post by gypsysoul » Fri Apr 22, 2011 10:12 am

Hello.

I'm new to the board and I'm so happy to find something like this out there. I've always been interested in rootwork, even as a very little child. Been living on the road for some time and finally feel at a point in my life were it's time to start really applying my spirituality and practices.

Welcome to the forum gypsysoul...

Have you had the opportunity to read Hoodoo in Theory and Practice: An Introduction to African-American Rootwork (http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html) by Catherine Yronwode (the owner of Lucky Mojo)? It includes a brief history of hoodoo and much much much more.
