Thank you for your reply, Catherine.

Another question before i move on to a different post. Please.

I read that if i am going to use Graveyard Dirt in a Love Spell, it would be best if i got it from a loved one (relative, etc.)

So, im hoping it will not get to the Intranquil stage, but if it does, i will be using, Graveyard Dirt.

What does not make sense to me is, I will be performing a Coercive Spell, which as you know involves the Intranquil Spirit, the one that tortures a person.

But yet adding, Graveyard Dirt from a loved one against such a disturbed spirit does not make sense.

It's like using a darker force to try and get what i want, but yet introducing my deceased love one into that.

I would have thought adding Commanding or Compelling products, which are all forcing a situation to work in my favour would not be suited with Gravyard Dirt of a loved one, but Graveyard Dirt of someone that was angry with something, therefore that persons Dirt would have a better chance at working.

Evil Spirit vs Loving spirit

Sorry for going on, i dont know what the answer is to that last question. Ihave been thinking about that for a long time, and i have done reading on the Graveyard Dirt, and i do understand what dirt would go with Crossing, just not the intranquil.

Dare_you, I believe you are slightly confused about the works you mentioned.

The Intranquil Spirit is entirely different from working with graveyard dirt. The Intranquil Spirit is a work or spell that comes to conjure via Mexican folk magic. This spell invokes a specific spirit or group of spirits who are damned and are called upon to bring the restlessness they suffer upon the victims of the person calling upon the spirit in order to return that person. It is a vengeful spell aimed at making a love one return in the harshest of manner.

Working with the graveyard dirt of a loved one involves getting a spirit who loves you best to get you to work on your target so they come to love you. This is good old-fashioned hoodoo. We have mention of it in Hyatt and we hear about it in different areas that have traditions of conjure.

The works are separate with the only commonality being that in both you are working with a spirit.

When you order the Intranquil Spell Kit it will come with everything you need so you need not worry about graveyard dirt.

Thanks, Conjureman. I mentioned that because i done a search on the, Internet and i found a site on, Dr E. I had a good read through his love spells, and he described how he used, Graveyard Dirt in his, Intranquility Spell for one of his Clients.

And i Read on here that using, Graveyard Dirt from a loved one when performing a love spell could be a good thing to use.

So i was confussed, a spirit that brings suffering, and also a spirit who once loved me, ie my gran's Dirt. And thats why i thought thats not a good combination.

There are many kinds of spirits, some of who are the spirits of once-living humans, and some of whom were never living (e.g. angels), or who were not humans when alive (e.g. animals and plants).

Graveyard Dirt is as varied as the beings who are buried in those graves -- some happy, some sad; some good, some wicked; some helpful, some not helpful.

I would suggest that before trying to undertake this work, you either read more on the subject or pay a fee to a rootworker for magical coaching. ConjureMan Ali, Dr. E., and i all offer this service, as do several others at AIRR. I have had 2 readings with 2 members from the AIRR and found them very interesting.

You see im getting ahead of myself. I am going to start with the, Reconciliation, if that fails, then i am going to fall back on to essence of bend over, and last resort intranquil. I am very keen to do the work myself. I spend a lot of time reading, and looking up what all of the products do, and im really looking forward into working with them!

My situation is tricky, thats why im buying a few kits(need to be prepared), im also going to add vigils to these kits. I just wanted to make sure, but im way off intranquility yet.

My response was directed towards using the dirt from a loved one's grave for intranquility work.

You were thinking of two different things. The spell mentioned in the archives of Lucky Mojo calls upon a loved one's graveyard dirt which is used in a different context and is entirely different from the Intranquility spell.

However, Miss cat offers a great solution where you can get one-on-one coaching from a professional rootworker.

I know in Dr. E's blog he explains how when he works with the intranquil spirit, he includes graveyard dirt in his candle work. It is not necessary, like Conjureman Ali said, but you can work with it; however, I would not work with a loved one with the Intranquil Spirit. I think he mentions going with graveyard dirt of a soldier, or a hard worker.

But I would go with the Intranquil Spirit spell kit. It has everything you need.

Im in a reconciliation situation.
We have been broken up 5 months now, but recenlty things have been looking up. we have remained in contact (hanging out ) since we broke up .
but recently we have become like good friends again.

I bought the Lucky Mojo reconciliation spell kit from miss bri's shop.
It takes 12 days to perform the spell.

but he's leaving for a month trip in 7 DAYS!!
He's going alone , and im thinking this trip will give him time to think about me.

So what should i do ? the spell final touch is me delivering him a dressed letter.
SO even if i performed the spell now , i wont be able to give him the letter (i cant mail him he'll be in a rural area)

So should i start performing the spell now, and give him a dressed letter on the day he leaves anyway? (even though i wont have the bath water of the 9th day to dress the letter , and i would only have done 7 days of the spell )

or should i just keep the letter till he gets back?

yes, i have had readings done and it looks good.

WHAT i think i WILL do is:
Start the spell today, write the letter on the 7th day and take a spiritual bath that day so i can dress the letter with that. Give it to him on the 7th day when leaves... and continue the spell till it is completed. and still do the last bath like the spell instructs.

Hello yes i am a newie and just recently seperated from my husband, moving out with my son before christmas and having no furniture so i tried the fast luck spell kit a few days ago.

I am not sure what result i was expecting, but i needed to win some cash pretty quick so i could buy furniture and get on our feet. I never took any help from a rootworker because i couldn't afford it and went by the script i was sent with the bag. I did everything it asked and still nothing. Maybe its me, maybe i did something wrong, maybe i just not worthy of having any help.

I feel so low and depressed, before leaving my husband (which is something i have been thinking about since the summer) i got diagnosed with cancer and that is what made me realise i was not staying unhappy for the rest of my time left whether its months or years, I have been told though the outcome results are high so fingers crossed on that.

I wanted to take my son and myself out of a very volitile environment we had been living in for 5 years to a new rented home of our own,

i cry at night because i just want to give my son a happy home with carpet and curtains and furniture. I am not expecting to win much but something would have been nice.

I will keep my chin up but feel like its all been a waste of time right now and feel that i some how i did something wrong.

eatonhj1, i am sorry to hear of your situation, but as i always tell newbies to magical spell-casting, "Trying to learn this art in the middle of an ongoing crisis is not a good idea." You have cancer, you have just left a "volatile" marriage, you have a child, no money, no furniture, and you decide that learning a new skill -- spell-casting in the African American style (and you are posting from England) -- in order to win at games of chance is the best option.

No, it is not. You need to build social alliances now, get government assistance, make new friends outside the circle you were limited to by your unpleasant ex-husband. You need to be safe, to keep in good spirits during your medical treatments, and stay upbeat and helpful to your child. Gambling should truly be the least of your concerns at this time. Work for healing, house blessing, drawing in friends, and pray, pray, pray for the best for you and your child.

Gaming is fun, and some people do win big -- but it is not the way out of trouble.

Hello everyone,

First, I just want to apologize for the long post but I just wanted to give some background info of the situation.

I usually have had good results when working simple spells for myself. However, recently Ive been getting really sick and cannot focus my thoughts well at all

I have an AIRR member doing some rootwork for me at the moment, but I started working a honey jar on my target and he and I started communicating via text message quite often...but then my illness worsened. I got so weak I could not get out of bed. I did not know what was wrong with me and all my symptoms began making me very paranoid. One day it got so bad it triggered a panic attack.

I had to stop working my honey jar for a bit and noticed the communication practically came to a hault...I tried working my honey jar again along with some communication spells but I only had different guys contacting me. After another attack that sent me to the ER I went to get some bloodwork done and found out I have a slightly more severe case of anemia( I never knew there were different types

).

So I believe its due to all of these symptoms that I have not been able to concentrate like I usually do...

So my question is that if I am having difficultly concentrating for my own work, will that affect what my rootworker is doing for me?

I am still thinking positive thoughts of him and I reconcilling, but have not seen any strong movements like I had since before my anemia turned more severe. I did get another reading to get updated of what was going on and found out he started seeing someone

So that is another reason which may have caused the slow down...Since I have no info on the new female in his life, my rootworker and I had to go in a different direction by just trying to make him think and desire only me...

Im currently working with a fixed St Martha vigil(because of a dream), but I just was hoping that this lack of focus is not affecting my work or the rootwork I have being done for me.

Should I wait until my treatments take effect so I am able to focus before doing any spell work of my own? Or am I being paranoid and my lack of focus is not the reason?

I just want my spell work to be effective but Im afraid its really difficult to focus for me right now.

1) No you're difficulty concentrating will not effect what the rootworker is doing. This is one reason someone may employ another rootworker to do the work for them because they can't concentrate as well or they may not be skilled enough to hold the focus. So I think you should be fine. However, I would make sure you connect with your rootworker when doing any further work.

2) I think you should concentrate on your health, and not stress about this man. Stressing is only going to cause your luck to get worse, and it would be better to take the necessary steps to make a full recovery rather than operating on half of your concentration. So put your efforts towards your health and getting better that is most important than anything at this point.

Trust your rootworker, and what is being done on your behalf.

I will heed this advice, in fact, I kind of have already started. Instead of another vigil being burned for my target, I had one healing being burned on my behalf by my rootworker, and currently one uncrossing as well on me.

I am leaving this in her hands and I do believe that she will get the results we have been working towards, she has been awesome...and even though I want to include myself in this work, I just cant right now. I need to make my health my priority! Not him!

And I will definetely keep her in the loop of what I am doing or in this case, not doing. I will need to let her know Ive stopped my honey jar, but I do want to continue my St Martha on tuesdays at least.

Doing rootwork takes concentration, focus, and will-power, if you find one of these lacking or slightly "off" then it is best to not get involved in spiritual work at that moment. You want to be able to give your work your all.

If you have a professional involved, then let the professional hand the situation for you and you focus on getting better.

Im happy to report that Im starting to feel better, slowly but at least Im not bedridden any more!

My MRI looked great and the Dr. says it might take a week or two before I start feeling like my old self again...after recovery I plan on working my jar again, but only if I feel I will be able to focus because you both(Conjureman Ali & starsinthesky) are right, my concentration, focus, and will-power need to be at its best for my work...it just sucks that he stopped texting me...

It's not that one is stronger than another, it's just that one might be more appropriate for your needs than the other.

A spell kit includes everything you need to do a complete work of conjure - baths, incense, candles, oils, mojos (in some cases), etc. It will take you through a rite from beginning to end and includes every little thing you'd need to perform it with.

A bottle spell is just that - a bottle spell. If you're getting a fixed bottle, then it will come with herbs and instructions for personalizing it. It won't come with baths, incense, etc. It can be used as part of a larger work, or used as a stand-alone ongoing work.

So...do you need the baths, incense, candles, mojos, etc for your work? Are you new to the practice? If you do &/or are, then a spell kit would likely be most appropriate. If you know what you're doing as far as doing the work and how best to make a bottle spell work for you, then you could probably just use a bottle spell.

If you don't know, then you can always get a reading and consultation with a rootworker so they can help you determine what is the best approach for your case.

Hello all,
It's my first time here, and I have a very important question. I am going to buy a spell kit. I have a complex situation involving a lover that's not technically an "ex" but we're having a period of separation that I wish to be resolved. The problem is he lives 800 miles away. I have been perusing the descriptions of the love spell kits to try to find out if I need to do any part of the spell that will involve placing objects, powder, or otherwise, in his vicinity. Obviously this is not easily done from 4 states away. Could anyone kindly tell me if any of the love spell kits involve needing to be near him for the spell to work? What IS possible is for me to mail him something. I have a few things I was planning on mailing him and could include something from the spell in that package if need be. Please let me know what you can tell me about these kits, as I don't want to purchase something from the beginning I can't really use. I'm sure you all understand. Thanks so much!

Hi there,
If you have questions about specific spell kits you should call the shop and ask one of the fabulous employees--they will be able to tell you if the particular kit(s) you are interested in would require proximity to your target. One trick that many workers (including myself) favor is the dressing of a note or letter with reconciliation sachet powder and sending it to your lover. My favorite method of doing this is to have the client write out what exactly it is that they are feeling/thinking/hoping for, but in some cases that is not appropriate or not appropriate for the moment, so you can send a casual "just thinking about you" card instead.
And Triplethreat is right as usual, its good idea to get a reading on a situation like this to see what does or does not make sense spell wise for you at this point.

No product is "better" than another. They have different purposes. A honey jar is to sweeten the judge. The spell kit is for success in court.

This page addresses most of the things you just listed.

You can use as many spells kits as you want. However if you are new to hoodoo i recommend that you either hire someone or get a reading as what products will be best for you. I mean just because you can do 20 spell kits at the same time doesnt meant that you are going to get better results, AND you may not have enough energy to do them all. Sometimes its better to put all your concentration into a one or two things at a time and perhaps hire someone else to do the work.

Read through the court case page that starsinthesky posted. There you find a tongue spell to hinder their lies. It is not more powerful to burn candles of different colors on the honey jar. For court case we use Brown candles.

Good afternoon. Its been a while since i posted, but my situation has changed and although i have learned a lot from previous answers and reading, i would be glad of some help with this new situation.

There is this guy who i went for a few drinks with a couple of years back, nothing came of it, i did not persue anything, we carried on speaking via texts and calls, but that was about it. We say hello now and again to each other but thats it.

I would like to start something up with this guy and see how it goes. problem is he is in a relationship and now and again he has mentioned to me that they keep falling out and his sick to his back teeth of her, i know its cruel but then just when i think im in with a chance, his moved back into her flat again.

I was thinking of buying 1 break up spell and 1 come to me boy spell kit.

I know nothing about this lady, i dont know her name, i dont know what she looks like, there is no way of me being able to get any photographs of her or them both.

I just know the area where the block of flats are.

Is it worth me just going straight onto the 'Come to me boy spell kit' or would it be best to perform the 'break up spell first' or i could go straight into using the 'essence of bend over' that way im thinking he would break up with her anyway because ive used a more coerccieve spell to get what i want.

Any ideas please, as i cant get anything on her.

If you don't have any personal concerns you probably won't have much luck with the break up kit. Did you check this page for all the details? http://www.luckymojo.com/breakup.html The spell bottle is supposed to be buried under the doorstep, so if you know where they live, which entrance they use then you can bury the bottle there, throw powders, and possibly get some foot track dirt or do other sneaky things to get personal concerns. I think it's a matter of whether you want to invest the time, energy and money to do this work if you don't have a strong personal connection. Though, you might want to get a reading to see if maybe she has some kind of work or spell on him. If he's on and off again, says he's sick of her and then moves in with her anyway, it's possible that she's working spells on him. Again, is it worth your time, energy and money to go through all this work when they could be a more suitable partner out there waiting for you.

Hi i am doing a essence of bend over spell kit on my husband, and it said that on the 9th day take the paper from under the candle and turn sideways, and write my name over his, but it's the 4th day and the paper is cover with wax, do i scrap the wax off, and write my name? it also said to quench the candle in water, can i do that but then use the remaining candle to make a doll for him, i was think of doing the same like someone posted using a mandrake root.

KitKate, No they dont come with the spell kit.

Colliz, the spell kits come with very specific directions to help with someone who may not be as skilled in hoodoo yet. I would have put the paper under the candle holder, or plate so that no wax go on the name paper. However since you are already on the 4th day....I think the best thing at this point is to let it continue to burn as is. I would employ another method of domination such as taking the name paper with the wax on it at the end, and then peeing on it....then dispose of it properly.

I dont think it would be a problem to use the remaining wax to make a doll.

starsinthesky7, the instructions said to put the candle ontop of the name paper, it did not mention under the plate, also i don;t think a candle holder would work for that type of candle, but i will try taking the wax off the candle.

Effectiveness is determined by a variety of factors, not what you use. Both spell kits and bottle spells are effective in the situations they are made for.

Hello all!

I'm already working with a honey jar to sweeten someone towards me. I just ordered the "Come to Me" spell kit, however, would it be better to do the "Love Me" Spell Kit first?

This is a platonic relationship right now, but there is certainly some attraction there. After working the honey jar, we've been getting to kow each other better. I'd just like to give things a little encouragement if it's meant to go in a romantic direction.

Any thoughts?

I believe you're on track with your plan. Use the "Come to Me" line to move the platonic relationship in a more romantic direction then, once you are certain you want this person's love, then you can begin working with "Love Me" products.

I would use a mix of the products. Get yourself the Come to Me spell kit with some Love Me Oil. Dress your candles and your Lodestones with both oils to get him to come to you and tell you he loves you.

Once you guys get there you might consider doing a Love Me spell kit to seal the deal with a bit of Stay with Me oil.

Ah yes, I neglected to mention how well the LM oils blend together! By all means you can especially dress yourself with a bit of each oil when you anticipate being in physical proximity to your love interest.

Still, I would keep the lines separate when working the spell kits...especially if you are new to the work. I'd advise doing the spells just as described in the instructions sent with your kits. Doing so will give you excellent spellcasting experience and you'll be working from a set of instructions which have proven effective for many.

Thanks, both of you! I ordered the Come to Me kit last week. I just placed a second order for the Love me Kit and the oils suggested. Along with Deer's Tongue, since that's supposed to help with communication. My interest is long distance, so I think keeping with the Come to me kit first and seeing where that leads is probably the best. I'll save the Love Me kit, like you said, to seal the deal if that's what seems right.

If not, I can hang on to the kit for a later time, right?

Hey everyone, I made this same blunder and...though I only burned my candle for 15 minutes for two nights, my candle burned so fast it wouldn't even light last night. Both arms fell completely off intact!

So, I quick dressed a new purple taper with the oils(ebo and love me) and rolled it in follow me boy powder.(before I read Miss cats text) I burned it for 15 minutes and it seem to be going crazy too. The purple candle is more than 1/2 gone and it has a huge ugly pillar of tears hanging off of it!

So, I looked at the candle divination pages in this forum as well as on Miss Cat's spectaclular "Hoodoo in Theory" and found that while the work is progressing, it is too fast to last etc.

So, (just a little more bare with me), So I quick get out the tarot and find that I might want to keep at it (4 cups,knight pentacle, king wands.)Ugg now I'm Lost.

Do I keep on with the puple candles and oils, do i make a baby doll with the wax, should I order a back-up kit for when I have to do it over? LoL. And and what to do about the wax covered petition paper? Yes i know I should probably get a reading too! But I was hoping someone would help me to follow thru till I can connect with someone from Airr. Feel too shy to try the radio show the suject is too intimate.

Without getting too far into detail, I would like to know if trashing my work (honey jar and 2 spell kits) will cause any negative effects --even if I havent seen any(!) movement in my situation. I of course still want the situation to work out, but being that it has been a considerable amount of time and there has been no movement, I am now wondering if my magical work is having an adverse affect on my situation. I am ready to just trash everything and leave it all alone, but I'm afraid to really put everything in the garbage because i dont want to make things worse. Please advise.

Just a note: I am not interested in having a reading, so please dont suggest it.

I have heard that constant doubt and/or worrying about your work is a definite spell killer. I don't know if that is part of your issue or not, but I can tell you that when I enter into a working being confident and positive I get results. When I am distracted or concerned about anything at all before I start on something I get partial results and yes, sometimes even failure.

I would advice you not to "just throw out" your things. I think that would be a horrible idea- especially if you are planning on making a future attempt.

I have learned not to disrespect any of my workings and tools. Even after abject failure. To me, a failed working is a learning lesson- and I remedy my mistakes for the next go round- usually with the results I'm after.

Don't give up! If all else fails, I have heard wonderful things about the folks at AIRR. Maybe you should get in contact with one of them to help you out,
(Not trying to suggest that you get a reading ...I did see that you were not interested in a reading, just suggesting that you might need some additional assistance to give your work a booster. Please understand that I am in NO way, shape or form implying that I think you're incompetent!)

I would absolutely recommend against just throwing your work into the trash! Doing so sends a powerfully negative message about your work, your goals, and the situation to the spiritual realms - basically that you consider all that to be no more than trash.

If you do not wish to work spiritually on the situation anymore, that's fine - but RESPECTFULLY and PRAYERFULLY dispose of your work in the proper ritual manner. Generally speaking you are going to be bringing the remains to a crossroads, to running water, or burying it in your yard, depending on the type of work and spells you did. thank you for your responses. I think the frustration from getting no where is taking its toll. I will not throw my work away. I suppose I should bury it and release all of the disappoint ive felt from my failure.

hm I cant really answer all your questions but I can answer one

the issue with the wax on the candle, buy a candle holder for the candles when burning them on petitions.. this one seems to be a figure candle which you can place the petition or name paper under a saucer ( the type used with a tea cup) and the candle on top, this way no wax gets on it. you may what to get a reading even if its just a 10 min $10 on the situation or the divination of the wax you have a lot going on and it can be interpretated in different ways, ie his arms and hands fell off, is that a sign of him giving up or holding on..as for the candles you dressed in oils and powders, did you over due it? sometimes if a candle is over dressed with powders oils and herbs it will cause them to burn which alternativly makes the candle burn much faster and in weird ways. if I double dress a candle I take a make up brush put it in the powder then tap it to shake the loose material then lightly dust the candle.. hope this helps Good lucK!

Cat talks about this on her site and how we need to set deadlines when working on another person because we can unfortunetly "not get results", however its easy to marginalize them and jump working to working rather then really look at whats going on. Personally I dont think doing love work could make it worst I think it illustrates a reality. Though you also have not indicated how long you been doing the work and seen no results, you should wait atleast 3mo and with rec work it can take even longer!! Personally if you are at the end of the whip, id ritually dispose and do a cut and clear.

I agree with what others have said--you need to stick to the original deadline that you set yourself and if you haven't set yourself a deadline then you should do so. Remember the 3/3/3 suggestion when figuring your deadline. Then, its a waiting game and a period of having faith--in yourself, in the work that you have done, and in the hope that the best outcome will be the one that manifests.

Thank you j82. I love the makeup brush idea. Ima get that reading too. Now the purple candle burned away out of control. I have a huge puddle of wax. I did scrape the wax off the petition and will try to use common sense next time too! hummmm!

I would like to know if what I'm doing is considered 'too much'...
I'm waiting on my reading, concerning my issue with love and reconciliation.
In the meantime, I'm feeding my honey jar, dressing and burning red glass candles, I've lit one red skull and plan to do another to keep my love thinking abt me. I've also been lighting love and John the Conquorer incense and praying Psalms and Song of Solomon.
In opposition to that, I've started a Vinegar bottle and burn a black candle dressed with some of the bottles herbs to break and seperate my love and the other woman.
I've lit a reversible candle to repel any work she may be doing.
This is all going at the same time, and there are results and signs of SOMETHING working. Some candles and flames show negativity while the rest show positive results. He comes, then he goes back to her, then comes back. He's confused as hell. He won't talk about it, but he makes it known in his Facebook and Chat status's.
I'm going to continue my work with good fait and maybe include some deers tongue to get him to communicate with me more.
Could all of the candles, herbs, prayers, oils and wishes just be TOO MUCH at once?
My idea is to have them work simultaneously and push them apart while bringing him to me.

Ive said this before on the board.

You do not need to burn a candle everyday or have 10 candles constantly going for things to be working. Just because you are not lighting a candle or working something does not mean things are not manifesting.

I mean its like constantly watering a plant...too much water and not giving the plant time to absorb the water to grow can actually kill the plant.

How that relates to hoodoo is that...you are not giving your work time to manifest, and just be. Yes it is okay to back up the work with a vigil light or something else, but CONSTANTLY doing work...is NOT always effective.

1. You can max out your spiritual energy which eventually takes a toll emotionally, mentally, and physically speaking. It is best to give yourself a resting period, as you do not want to be operating on your work at half capacity. I can almost guarantee if you are doing your work without a rest it will not be as efficient. You need to give yourself, and time for thing to manifest.

2. If he is "confused as hell", comes and goes, why are YOU doing the same spells magically?

3. Yes you are doing too much. If an individual has to ask themselves that, then they probably are. Like I said doing 1-2 things at a time is going to help you rather than doing 5 to 6 things at once.

And most of all is what you are doing effective? Personally I would work on breaking them up first rather than do much love work. This is probably contributing to the confusion as you are working on him with love work, and trying to break him up at the same time. For example, majority of my work would be towards breaking them up, while working on something like a honey jar to bring him and keep him with me.

I would work on the honey jar or love work during the waxing moon...then during the waning moon work on break up work. This will give time for the love work to manifest when you are working during the waning moon, and vice versa. And then take 1 to 2 weeks off.

This is just from my own personal experiences as I have been through the same thing when I started in a similar situation and first discovered Hoodoo.
