Hello!

I am "new" to the board, but I have been lurking for a while and I am so excited to be a part of this large family and network of gifted rootworkers. You all have helped me so much without even knowing it.

Due to my southern roots, I have been exposed to rootwork for a long time, but I started actively practicing in my adulthood. I have a very good friend who is Wiccan who helped reintroduce me to spellwork, but I decided to return to my "roots" (no pun intended) and work within the hoodoo tradition.

I have done successful spellwork for myself in the past; however, I know I am more of a novice than a newbie, but I realize I still have so much to learn. Aside from joining the correspondence course, I think this is the best place for me to learn and grow.

I have already ordered a few products from LM, and I can't wait to order more!

Welcome! Although I was born in Seattle, I too have southern roots, as my father was from Mississippi.

Hello, glad you made it. We have a similar story. I don't post much but I read this forum every day! No kidding. Because there are hundreds of pages at least to this site I find myself discovering new things all the time and have usually found an answer by just using the search features. If you don't have the book, Get it! Also, the weekly radio show is so valuable, I started taking notes. I too will be taking the course(if miss cat will have me)in the future. I feel I've finally made it back to my roots. Pun intended. Good juju to you.
