This is for all of you who want to call the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork hour and get a free card reading, spiritual guidance, and/or rootwork spell-casting advice.

Ever since my mother died I have had a weight problem. I was not there when she died and when she did I saw her above my bed and she was pissed. I now weigh about the same she did. Until this happened I never had problems with keep my weight. My husband and I want to know if this is a spiritual thing, if I am being cursed or what in the world is going on. I would love to have a baby but at this weight that is not advisable.

When I was a little girl, I remember going to a woman to get card readings and cleansings on a regular basis. I never really asked what they were about until recently. My mom told me that my biological father's mother had someone put a curse on my mother and father to keep them apart. My mom was told that the curse could not be undone because the woman who put the curse had died. My mom has always had terrible luck, and frankly, so have I - always problems with love, money, making bad decisions, etc. It seems every time I get a step ahead, something else happens to push me back. Also, my grandma (my mom's mom), who I love dearly, has always seemed to want to keep me and my mom "down" and sometimes I feel that she wants to keep me financially dependent on her. She actually gets her feelings hurt if I buy something with my own money. Weird, I know, but I can explain more if you need me to. So, my questions are:
1) Was a curse put on my mother and has it trickled down to me and can it be 'undone'?
2) Does my grandmother really want to "control" me or could the way she feels be part of the "curse"?

Dear Ms. Kat,
I've been having very extreme issues with blockages and I don't want it to continue.
I moved to Brooklyn 3 years ago and I find my lack focus, poor memory, and low physical energy have me failing at everything and directionless. Although they have been issues in the past they have gotten progressively worse since I moved. It seem like situations that should be easy turn into an endless mire.
I've tried to get back into school 3 or 4 times over the past 5 years only to find myself blocked each time by a ridiculous comedy of administrative errors. I am very intelligent and have a high IQ but I've been barely keeping my head above water performance wise at my little part time jobs, not to mention financially. I can't focus and my poor memory make it hard to do anything well. Even my medical doctors are unhelpful or rude. They often never get back to me with results, or have prescribed me medicine after medication that makes me so sick I can't take it. Most recently the IRS started garnishing my whole checks leaving me broke.

(1) I was plagued with not-so-serious, but constant & miserable health problems throughout my entire vacation this summer. I would like to know if I was crossed and, if so, by whom.
(2) I met someone this Spring who turned my world upside-down and left me questioning some core beliefs about myself. I find myself at a crossroads in my life and, consequently, within my marriage. A recent reading by an acquaintance told me that any decision I make would affect the next 10-15 years of my life and that decision would either be very,very positive or very, very negative for me and I am now left more confused than ever. I am unable to see a clear path before me. I would be grateful for a reading and any spellwork that might assist me. I am a Scorpio and new to practicing rootwork.
