Hope all is well to all. I was wondering about a particularly Damiana Leaf. How long
to soak the leaves? As sprinkle the liquid on doorstep would say the name of your lost love?
And is there any other instruction other than what is mention LMC site?

I would soak the Damiana from a new moon until a day before the full moon. I would put the liquid on the target on the day of the full moon and say his name.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. But I am a little confused on the the full moon/new moon
as to when to soak the Damiana Leaf.
Here is the Moon Phase for August 2009
Moon Phases, August 2009
Full Moon - August 6, 00:55
Last Quarter - August 13, 18:55
New Moon - August 20, 10:02
First Quarter - August 27, 11:42

My question is out of these dates which date would I soak the Damiana Leaf
and which date to strain the leafs?

I would start the Damiana leaf soak this month on the New Moon of July 22 and take it out to the target on the full moon of August 6. If you wait until the New Moon of August 20, you will have to wait until the September 4 Full Moon to take it to the target.

Is it working? Honestly, that's the best way to answer your question since you are mixing things together, you should see what proves to be most effective. Catnip is a love drawing herb as are Lucky mojo oils, so the blend makes sense. However, it depends partially on what you want and what the results are.

You know what I came upon this thread because I myself will be incorporating the same work. I have DAMIANA Leaf, I was going to use it with Catnip as well, to make my lover RETURN. Catnip is to attract a man to you and i'll keep my Damiana for grinding it into his food, he's out of town, and is having a hard time coming back, I NEED him to return home to me. So I'll definately do this spell very soon.

attraction incense

finish up with a ATTRACTION and/or Return To Me viqil liqht. Double dress with Attraction Powder and Catnip Leaves on each knob. I can't wait to purchase this! He's such a procrastinator. haha, And when he returns, I will feed him Damina.

It depends on what the love work is for. If you're working on a marriage or to keep someone faithful and committed, Spikenard is a great addition. If on the other hand you're looking to attract a new lover or specifically working on sexual passion - there would be more appropriate choices. Do not add Spikenard essential oil to Damiana herb; rather, add the Spikenard herb to the Damiana herb.

In addition to Miss Aida's excellent advice, some food for thought with tincturing: when you're tincturing with moon phases, you would bottle the day after the new moon and then strain the tincture on the full moon - using the waxing moon to draw out the most from the herb (and wax your intention). It's longer, but another way of working to consider.

I am soaking mine in my estranged husbands flask of Crown Royal.

Trying this spell (as well as a few others) to get my boyfriend back. Since the break up was recent I want to work while I know he still loves me.

If the tincture is mostly Damiana, is it okay to add other things? I wanted to add seven drops of seven conditioning oils (Reconciliation, Return to me, Come to me, Stay With Me, Follow Me Boy, Block Buster, and Fast Luck), some dried pink and red rose petals from a bouquet he gave me, a piece of his hair, calamus root, balm of Gilead, and lavender. But only little quantities of the other things, mostly damiana. Would that work? Is there a psalm or petition I should say when I sprinkle my doorstep?

And, out of curiosity, has anyone had success with this spell?

I started this spell on the new moon two weeks ago by steeping the damiana, my boyfriend's hair and a small piece of cloth with our sexual fluids on it, and reconciliation, healing, and love herbs in top-shelf whiskey (which I no longer drink) and burned a dressed and petitioned candle on the jar every MWF with the rest of my loves spells since. Tonight is the first night I sprinkled some on my doorstep (since it's a full moon at 1AM) while whispering "[my boyfriend's full name], you will wholeheartedly return to me and our romantic relationship, love, and commitments", and I'll continue to do so for 21 nights. I'm a little nervous since that will be when Mercury is still in retrograde, but since I started the spell two weeks ago I think it's okay!

I have to say, I don't know what I was expecting the tincture/potion smelled divine when I opened the jar. It wasn't really like whiskey, just a lovely, sweet, comforting scent. It feels like a good sign!
