I believe that the Spell Kit for Cut and Clear would only work if I was trying to cut and clear him from my life... I dont know or believe if that would work if I did it on his behalf to rid him of old emotional ties.

I use a spray mop because that's what we have -- and I always put a little something into the wash water I'm using. I just make sure to launder the head I use in between, because I use a non-disposable alternate cover instead of the paper ones.

I find this method works really well and I'm quite fond of it.

You can not preform a Cut and Clear for another person. It is a very personal spell and you can't really force it onto another. It does not work that way. It is possible for a rootworker to help someone do the work for themselves, often by backing up the clients work with prayer and candles set for them, but no one can do a Cut and Clear for another.

I followed Devi's advice a while ago and add CW, Van Van and Florida Water to the water I use in my steam mop. I love Butchcomer's idea about sachet powders on carpet! Going to have to try that one. I also make up a mix of Chinese Wash, Florida Water, and Van Van in a spray bottle with water and use that to spray down the walls as well.

Would it be alright to disolve bath crystals (say, van van, tranquility, or fiery wall of protection, for example) and put it into a spray bottle to use as a spray around the house? My husband is funny about smoke(from insence) and dust and the like. I use the condition oils but they can't be applied to everything. Just curious.

Sure. You can also put them in a bucket of hot water and wash the floors and woodwork with the water, praying as you go for whatever your wish is (protection, money drawing, whatever). It's a very traditional way to use bath crystals and washes.

I've made my own room sprays by combining a perfume with some condition oils. I don't know if the salt bits or herb pieces would clog up your spray bottle, but I really like my perfume and oil sprays.

This one I am going to have to give to a Pro. As soon as I can, I am going to have her work her magic to help this poor person that has been forever trapped in this negative emotional state.

My own version of the tea if u care to give it a try (this one is mostly for positive home by virtue of clearing the yuckies - although I admit, I'm rather partial/addicted to Chinese Wash for house-cleaning thanks to the simplicity & reduced time required for its use ):

-12 cups of steaming hot water
-3 fresh lemongrass stalks, cut into match sized pieces & halved
-handful of fresh or dried whole sage leaves
-7 bay leaves
-branch of fresh hyssop (flowering if possible)
-pinch of rock salt
-pray psalm 23 & 51 while chopping all the herbs and pouring the water

add the tea to a mop bucket + 15 drops pine essential oil as a cleaning agent

snake, you would dissolve the salt in warm water and strain out any herb bits. It woks great. So does using a few drops of condition oils in water, but in that case you have to shake the mixture up now and then because the oil will separate from the water. Mixing condition oils with perfumes or colognes is also a popular method. Hoyt's Cologne is the most tradition perfume used in this manner. Apologies if this has been asked before:

I only have a shower, not a bath, in my apartment. My usual method for taking herbal "baths" is to tie up the herbs in a large muslin bag that fits over the shower head, and shower as usual. I'm wondering - is this method acceptable for hoodoo, or would washing with a basin be better?

You want to get some kind of tub to place at your feet in the shower stall, pouring the bath over yourself (or washing upwards with it as the case may be), and that will collect the used water that sloshes off of you for proper disposal at a crossroads (or whatever location is appropriate for your condition).

When using herbs for herbal baths, just running water through the herbs is not sufficient for getting the essence and spirit of the herbs into the water and into your bath. You will always want to boil water and steep the herbs so that they infuse into the water.

As a small aside. I've had it happen that people balk at the thought of buying a tub to do a spiritual cleansing. (which strikes me funny since they are usually A-ok with spending money on a reading and buying a bath, but I digress) What I always suggest is going down to the grocery store and buying a disposable aluminum roasting pan, one with nice high sides. Its not exactly classy, but if your desperate it works very well and is extremely affordable. Just wanted to toss that out there

I think it is a great idea too, Turnsteel! In Ft Lauderdale a few years back, I lived in the cutest renovated place ever. (Miami Sqaure glass and all) but no bath tub

. Anyway... on to ways to work... different place, flash forward Im in an older place a bit back, still in Florida; the same scenario... no bath tub... cute old place, another while back

There are several places to help us get what we need to do what we need to do.
Now I don't have to improvise, but I did and Turnsteel gave great advice on a "how to"!

I know there are things like Family Curses, even though they may be rare and difficult.
But I was wondering if there are Family /Blood line Blessings?? Is it possible to do a bloodline blessing, or a good luck,or money attaction spell through a bloodline? Does anyone have any ideas?

There absolutely are bloodline blessings. I have seen whole bloodlines who are blessed to succeed and the descendents of these families always exhibit these blessings.

I have a god daughter, a god son, and a young cousin all do within a few days of one another, and what a lovely thing to bless a child and their future descendents with.

Its not that complicated, but it requires spiritual authority and magical skill. Generally elders of the family can do this, powerful spiritual workers, and other such individuals. I know families who are blessed because an ancestor performed a favor for a spiritual worker and other times they were anointed in a religious setting.

Some of us do have the power to perform generation blessings and generation curses. What I suggest is seeking out Reverend Miss Cat and have her bless yours through Missionary Independent and place you with the Crystal Silence League.

I bought the new broom, bread and salt when I moved into my new place last April and I recommend it.

I think you mean 'uncrossing' and not 'crossing' powder. Do the uncrossing work first if you wish and then both van van and road opener.

I recommend some 'money house blessing' oil or incense as well.

I agree. I would use the uncrossing first, and then follow up with the money house blessing (if you want money) and van van/road opener.

Be sure to follow up with some protection as well. It is always helpful too.

I suggest you get a reading and ask whether you have the capability to do this for yourself,

The advice you've been given is good--to see about getting a blessing from an experienced practioner etc.

You can also start to improve your life and luck now. The Chinese wash is a good product to add to your regular mop/washing water to clean your house, removing blockages and negativity that may be halting progress.

Is Florida Water an acceptable substitute for Chinese Wash when cleansing your living space?

I intend to do a simple home cleansing this weekend, but I doubt that my order of Chinese Wash will arrive on Saturday. I have ordered some Florida Water, and I think this might just arrive on time. I'm thinking about adding this to a spray bottle of water and using it to clean my carpet, and maybe my windows and curtains as well as other surfaces. Is this advisable?

I'm looking for help with blessing and protection. I think it was in the late seventies or early eighties that a 16 year old girl got on her roof, which was right across the street from the elementary school and started shooting people, giving the reason that she didn't like Mondays... Yes, it was a long time ago, and I have not heard any stories of negative energy or anything there now, but I like to do blessing and protection for my child anyway. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Frey,

others may have more thorough / better input, but as I understand it, both are cleansing - it comes down to a question of preference and personal succes with each or both of the products. This is personal: I consider Florida Water ''regular cleaning'' whereas Chinese Wash would be more a ''get rid of all the garbage'' kind of cleaning; but as I said, that's what I find works for me.

I find that for cleaning surfaces when doing energy work, (or walls and carpets as you're suggesting) Florida Water works better than Chinese wash because, being alcohol based, it can be ''spritzed'' and evaporates quickly. That said: do a test patch in an innocuous area first in order to ensure that you won't harm any fabric or wall finish. Most of my clients also find Florida Water preferable scent-wise as compared to Chinese Wash. On the other hand, for floor scrubbing, I'd by far rather use Chinese Wash.

If you look at the LM product listings and information, it states that Chinese wash is ''for clearing away evil, home purification, and unjinxing'' whereas Florida Water is used '' rituals of home protection and spiritual cleaning''. So on a whole: happy house cleaning

thanks for the reply, that was helpful. My Chinese Wash delivery actually came through on Saturday. I filled a spray bottle with warm water and mixed in the Chinese Wash and sprayed the carpets after tidying and dusting the place. I'm not sure if I was to do this in a more ritualistic or ceremonial way, but the home cleansing was part of a personal cleansing ritual I've been performing daily for over a week now. I might try it again next weekend, and use the Florida Water from then on for more regular cleansings now that I'm taking this cleansing business more seriously.

Right now I'm doing a 7 days uncrossing bath early in the morning before I go to work. After a days work, could I take my regular shower before I go to bed or I need to wait ti'll the next morning? I really smell and I can't sleep without taking a shower before bed as a habit.

I normally take my regular shower directly prior to taking my spiritual bath. However, if you get really dirty at work, of course you may take a shower to get clean before bed.

You could consider making a small portion of the uncrossing bath and putting it into a spritz bottle, and after your regular shower at night, spray yourself down with the uncrossing spray before bed to continue the cleansing work. It's just an idea. I really love working with sprays.

Although it ain't hoodoo I'm just sharing here folks. It cleanses the outside and inside.

Locally here in Singapore it's called the "Seven Flower Water Bath". It's an Eastern thing, close to Taoism and Buddhism.

Consists of taking seven different kinds of flowers (any kinds), 7, 14 or 21 lemon leaves and a lime of which you should cut in quarters. These things are prayed/blessed at an altar. Then put into a pail/bucket and filled with water. Do not forget to squeeze the juice out of the lime into the water. Should smell nice and lemony.

In the morning, the person uses a large cup or mug or dipper and pours the water along with the flowers over the head from the previously prepared bucket. If the person wishes to cleanse the inside, the person takes 7 sips of the water. After all the water, flowers and leaves have been poured over the person, care must be taken not to touch or step on the flowers left on the bathroom floor. (These have taken the negativity from you.)

Most use a pair of disposable chopsticks to pick up the flowers, leaves and lemon to put into (modern) a plastic bag or (traditional) paper to wrap up and throw away. Some throw it in the garbage (modern) some put them out in the fields or near a forest where they can decompose and return to the Earth naturally.

If you don't know how to use chopsticks, you can always use a broom and a dustpan. (Just don't touch the flowers, leaves and lemons)

Locals who drink the water, often get stomach upsets and when they visit the toilet, their poop is black and foul-smelling. So we know the dirty stuff has been cleansed from within too.

Hello All:
I have been trying to find a good spell to work up for banishing bad habits, negative energy, and removing whatever is blocking the flow of positive energy, events, and persons into my life. I read somewhere on the site about a spell that involved writing out all of the things that you want to get rid of from your life onto a piece of torn paper bag, crossing them out, then burning a candle on them...I can't seem to perform a productive search using the search feature on the site to re-locate this spell. [please help!]
Also, I have done road opener spells, and uncrossing work over the past 3-6 months. They seem to be helping, but I still need to do something to remove blockages, negativity, and bad habits, I think.
I am not sure what really needs to be done. I am a 17 year veteran of tarot readings. I have tried to read about advice for further spell work...I don't feel I am getting a clear answer. Thanks a bunch! ~SweetLady

The answer remains, no. As stated before on this forum, works don't have the opposite effect of what you intend. If you do a honey jar to sweeten, it will not sour and if you do a cleansing bath it will not suddenly make people avoid or neglect you.

The cleansing removes the bad that is on you, is all.

I´d say it depends on the previous company. If you hang out with smelly people who are used to be in the company of other smelly people. One day you show up all clean and tidy. It can very well make these people back off a bit. Spiritual energies are not very much different.
