I know Reconciliation products can be used on lovers as well as friends. However, what would one do for a person that was once both and now you only want one? For example, if there's someone in my life that was my lover for years but more importantly my friend, and we fell on the outs while we were friends, would Reconciliation bring him back as both a friend AND lover? Is there a way to make him return JUST as my friend?

Also, different topic, his girlfriend has decided that b/c I'm poly I'm obviously trying to steal him, so I need a way to get her to shut up and allow us to be friends.

Hi LilCassandra,

For the reconciliation work, as long as you're specific about what it is you want in your petition - it should be fine for the just friends thing. Add cloves into the mix, which is specifically friendship oriented and also make sure not to use any love-drawing oils on any of the candles you burn or items you dress for the work aimed at this person. That way it will support your petition and not send mixed signals.

When it comes to his current g/f, stop gossip would probably be the way to go.

Can I do a reconciliation kit for my parents ...my dad is going to file for a divorce out of anger and i know they still love each other they have been together 26 yrs ....im far away from them and dont have access to lay any tricks or so any other suggestions or advice other then the honey jar (which im gonna do)?

Reconciliation involves several personal steps, in other word, your father or mother would work the spell, in this case your mother. Alternatively, get a reading from an AIRR reader (http://www.readersandrootworkers.org) to see what is really going on and ask for recommendations on what steps to take, it any.... It may reveal that divorce may be the way to go, it may reveal the opposite. I read your post in another section of the forum, it seems that your dad likes pushing your mothers buttons; still, I would get a reading to know for sure. Because as you said, you are away from home and depending on another persons interpretation of what is happening.

Thank you for your quick reply and advise. I really appreciate it. I did have another question I wanted to ask. I ordered the reconciliation candle to be set on the altar at MISC the night before last. While I do not know whether it has been set yet, I can tell you that I was in contact with my ex-girlfriend this morning (I often stop by for breakfast on my way to work). We were able to have a conversation and, for the first time since we broke up, I really felt like we connected on an emotional level. The subject came up of some of the things I have gone through in the last several months and how it has changed me. She was smiling and laughing at little things I said. It was the first time since we broke up that I truly believed that we would be able to reestablish our friendship. There was none of the awkwardness that I had felt. We were also able to text back and forth about work related issues (we work for the same fast-food chain though she works for a franchise and I work for a corporate-store) and she really seemed to respond to little comments of appreciation and compliments I sent her. All I can say is I don't even know if the candle has been set yet and I don't know if this is the result of that, but 3 weeks ago we were still not talking and now we seemed to have made some real progress. I know there is still work to be done.

Now my question: should I just be sticking with the reconciliation candle or should I have an attraction candle as well. I am 99% positive she still has feelings for me, but am unsure if the reconciliation work will be enough.

UPDATE: Been 10 days since last update

Personal observations:

• In future must tell clients in reconciliation work how to behave. In this case they are impatient and trying to force themselves to see each other in-person. Are upset because it is working slowly. I would even say their impatience is causing the spell to work slower or set it back. Have told them to be patient and calm and be themselves, not to force, but let contacting each other come naturally. Just talk.

• Should have a manual on how to behave for reconciliation work. Impatience is not conducive. May cause fights, arguments. Creating more wounds to heal. As much as possible try and be calm, applies for spellcaster as well. Also must control self, (applies especially for me because I am new to hoodoo) not to be impatient and do even more spells, will continue to work on present Blessing/Healing Bottle and Reconciliation Bottle. I either light oiled candles, or shake and pray.

3 weeks for movement and 3 months for final results... By logic means may have to be friends first, with undertones of mutual attraction. Dawning of realisation that "reconciliation" is only the term of the OUTCOME of the spell, and not the process. Process can and will involve, healing past hurts and misunderstandings, maybe even for subjects to learn about each other more as people, respect to deepen, being best friends, and then finally, reconciliation. (Logically if relationship were not dysfunctional separation would not have happened in first place)

However will be doing honey jar spell in about two weeks or so. Seems needed. Will be a healing and reconciliation combo honey jar. Have read up and noticed that hoodoo favours odd numbers, I'll make this three. (Blessing/Healing Bottle, Reconciliation bottle, and honey jar.) Also hyssop is a very strong herb. Never worked with it before but it's powerful. On petition paper will be adding hyssop, balm of gilead, majoram. Will be trying out Lucky Mojo's Love Herbs mix as well.

(Although this thread is silent I will keep updating. Writing helps me keep my thoughts in place better.) I think I like hoodoo.

Hi cjb47807,

MISC sets the lights you order very quickly after order. From what you're describing, it's pretty certain that the light has been set and is working.

In answer to your question, I stand by the recommendation in my initial post (although others may have better advice for you) - Reconciliation and Return to Me candles rather than the Attraction you're considering (since that's already there).

Furthermore, depending on how the burn of your vigil goes, it may be wise (if there are any obstacles revealed) to have a couple more runs of Reconciliation worked. Personally, I like working in threes for runs of candles (or an odd number until I get a clean burn) - but that's up to you.

And keep working that honey jar!

Working a reconciliation spell kit is a good idea for this situation but call the shop and tell them its for a same-sex relationship because a few of the items might need to be customized for that. It sounds like the awkwardness is due to some hurt that still lies between the two of you. As Aura suggested, balm of gilead is great to soothe hurt but I also like to sometimes do a separate working in situations like this that focuses on healing for the couple. I would get 2 of the female Eve candles in blue. Anoint with healing oil and a blend of herbs and roots known to facilitate healing (check HHRM). I also might add some road opening and mercury oil to the mix as well as deerstongue so that the 2 of you speak freely and kindly to one another.

I want my ex back really bad!

we broke up on bad terms about something stupid, we have had contact but we have had arguements etc. since the break up only on a few occasions has he spoke to me proply, I love him with all my heart and he was an amazing father to my son from a previous relationship, i know he feels the same way as many readings have told me so, but they say that he is to stubborn to admit his true feelings, its almost as if hes just completely shut off his emotions.

I am completely new to casting spells for myself, iv tried a few simple spells thats all. Can anyone recommend anything for me please?

Reconciliation is one of the trickier forms of work no matter what the situation. Don't wait on him to not be angry before starting to work to bring you two back together. You'll want to start on the Reconciliaton as quickly as possible, since the more time passes, the more difficult it generally becomes to positively resolve things.

Working a honey jar in combination with the Reconciliation is certainly a good idea, but I wouldn't personally wait on one to start the other. Go ahead and get the Reconciliation kit, along with the Reconciliation honey jar. Start them both up, as they compliment each other well.

If you want to open communication in the meantime, you could have Lucky Mojo set a Mercury candle on their altar for you, along with perhaps a Reconciliation candle (which has emotional soothing and healing elements), and maybe a Road Opener as well. These should start putting spiritual energy towards your goals while you wait for the Reconciliation kit and honey jar to arrive.

Hopefully by the time the kits arrive, the candles would have had a positive effect on things.

My ex of 4 years and I had a messy break up, however i hired a root worker to perform a break up and then a love and reconciliation spell for me. My ex was already with another woman. However, The great news is that the break up spell worked and they are now "broken up". However i also had a reading done with one of the AIRR members and she advice me that the future outlook of me and him together looks "positive" and that i would need to be really patient though and call on my guardian angel and burn a yellow and orange candle and write a petition (which i haven't done yet because people were visiting my home). I made the first move and talked to the ex and he told me, we can start over but let us take it slow and "crawl first", all of a sudden a few days later he told me that he isn't looking for a relationship right now and that i can't keep calling him every day like we used to and that maybe its best we shouldn't talk since he wont be able to provide me with what i need right now. What??? what should i do?

Hi tshenley,

the advice that was given to you by your AIRR worker is sound therefore start by doing the rootwork that was prescribed.

1 - Sounds like things were beginning well but that you may have gone in hard and heavy (were you really calling him every day ? - because can be a little much for a delicately blossoming bud - kind of like drowning it)
2 - Give things time. Reconciliation is some of the most difficult work to do because there is so much past history to get up and get over.
3 - ''Crawling first'' can often mean ''getting to know each other again'' and ''giving each other space'' in male-speak. Bringing the spark back in other words. Therefore give him space and take it slow. Focus on yourself and activities YOU like to do rather than focusing on HIM. The more independent you become, chances are, the more he'll come around. (and yes, I do understand that that is much easier in theory than in practice

)

To call on your guardian angel for help: ask! That's partly what writing your petition is all about. Asking for what you want clearly and concisely.

That said, there are a number of ways to go about communication with your angel. You can chat with your angel like with a good friend (yes it may feel a little strange to talk into an empty room at first - but it does get easier and eventually it becomes quite natural: I chat to God and with my ancestors all the time, usually just to tell them about my day and thank them for the lessons life has brought me). You may be more of a ''quiet talker'', in which case silent prayer is a wonderful form of communion with your guardian.

Okay so iv posted for help a few days ago, and i am in the process of getting spell kits, in the meantime i was thinking about doing a spell myself but would like somebodys 'view/advice' please

I have Doves blood, lodestone and commanding oil, i was thinking of anointing a pink candle with the three oils and placing the candle on top of a jar with a photo of my ex, my wishes for the outcome, and a personal item in it.

Can anybody let me know if this is a good idea or not, i am still getting used to casting as im new, so if i sound a little silly you know why haha

I wouldn't use the commanding oil as that is contradictory to the sweetening you want to do to bring an ex back. I don't know what your situation is but I would think a honey jar with a pink candle dressed with Lodestone oil to attract his love would suffice until you receive your order with more appropriate oils and products for your situation. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong

My ex and I are trying to work on repairing our relationship. We are taking small steps and seeing if its possible to reconcile. We have been intimate and it seems like we are on our way back to being us again. My ex still has hurts that they are trying to get past and says that I hurt them really bad, that they are going to need time to get past that before we can be fully to the way we were = living together and exclusive. I have had a reading and the reading states we will reconcile and that I need to be patient and give space and time. We are going on a trip this weekend and I want to enjoy our rekindling - our first time away since we split, and would like to lay tricks and try to solidify us some more. I have love me oil, reconciliation oil and reconciliation powder. Not sure exactly where to start, but I want to make this the trip that puts the oomph in us and makes her really want to be exclusive. I know I have to give us time, but I would like her to say we are exclusive and go from there to working on us. Any suggestions. I am really excited about this trip - I know it's the beginning for us.

Sprinkle the reconciliation powder in the bed you will share. Dress yourself with the oils and/or add them to a bath. You also put the powder where you know he will step on it and sprinkle it on his clothing and in his shoes.

Basically, you can mix the bath crystals in a bowl, and then dump them over your head after you take a shower. Make sure you air dry, and dispose of a portion of the captured water in a ritualistic way.

Okay so my and ex and I have always been in contact with each other ever since we broke up. Nowadays he'll text me or call me and even asked me what do I want to do about us.I asked him what he wanted and he says he wants things the way that they used to be before we broke up. The thing is the mother of his two children is an obstacle. I want him to be able to step out and be strong about what he wants pertaining to our relationship and maybe ask me to marry him. I do have a handkerchief of his with his sperm and my saliva on it. Can I have some advice on how to work him with a spell so that he can put his best foot forward to making things work between us.

First of all, let me say that you are in a good situation to get your ex back. He has clearly stated that he wants to be with you, and that is half the battle! It sounds like the main difficulty you are having is interference from his children's mother. I would perform a Road Opening spell to clear all obstacles out of your way (including her), a honey jar to sweeten him to you (if you haven't already) and begin a reconciliation spell to mend whatever is broken between you so that you are reunited together.

As for the courage, the Crucible of Courage products work wonderfully and may be just what you are looking for to help give him courage he needs. Personally, I would use a white scull candle and carve the attributes, thoughts and things I would like him to say on it (such as be strong, resist (her name), declare your love for me, ect.). I would also carve a nitch out of the bottom of the candle and load it with herbs that support your cause. I would then annoint it with the oil, all the while focusing intently on what I want the desired outcome to be, what he would say, the actions he would take, ect. When I felt the scull was charged, I would then light it. I would do this every night, for a minimum of seven nights, when I knew he would be sleeping. I would focus on his courage building, resisting her while being drawn to me. Some other workers also use tobacco to influence the thoughts of their subject, by blowing tobacco on either a picture or the scull itself while reciting their petition.

Any of the marriage products would be good to use to make him propose to you. Deer's Tongue leaves are also good for this use.

All in all, I think your work breaks down into three categories: Road Opening (removing of obstacles/the ex), Reconciliation and Love Drawing and Courage. I would need to know more about the situation to advise you further.

I look for the strongest and best product for the following situation.
1. stay positive everyday.
2. pray for peacful home
3. bring my ex boyfriend back. He is in newyork now. I am in honolulu. We knew each other since last Nov. We separated from each other this June when he moved to ny for job. He was with sb else or is still with sb else since our separation. I really love him. I want to move with him. I want the best product to bring him back to me emotionally and physically.
After separation, he texted me two times. One in july just say hi, one in sept. He told me he wanted me in mid of sept, and he was single again. I was excited to visit him. Then I texted him to discuss my visit to ny last weekend, he suddenly changed to a different person, and ignore my text, and claim he does not love me. I called him, but can only left voice msg, apparently, he does not want to talk to me. I feel very stressful now regarding this situation. I even told him I can move for him, but he never respond back. I guess he is with sb else.

Quick history: met him beginning of this year, the attraction between us was undeniable and we got along well. Although I liked him very much and we had been intimate a few times, I was uncomfortable knowing what I knew and not being 100% sure if he was really telling me the truth, I pulled back but not away. He also told me on a later date that he has a “sex-buddy” (again his words). He asked me to give him time to get himself together. We have kept in touch and we continue to shameless flirt with each other to this day.

1 ½ month ago, he tells me that he is moving out (and did) and 2 weeks ago (in conversation) he tells me, he has closed the door on the “sex-buddy” thing he had cuz he is changing some things he does. Unbeknownst to me, he has really been telling me the truth from the start, who knew?

Present day: After the reading (which also confirmed that there is no one standing in the way, nothing blocking the way and that we do have a very good chance), I started doing vigil candle work on him about a week ago for him to come to me and to be with me.

Well yesterday, I had this overwhelming feeling to do some laundry. I even decided I would dissolve some Come to me, Follow me boy and Bewitching bath crystals and added it to my wash (after I said my prayer petition). I went to put my clothes in the dryer afterwards and found out my dryer is done. I have a new dryer that I haven’t set up yet cuz I have been waiting for the old one to give out first.

The first person I contacted to see if he can come help set my new dryer up without hesitation was my love-interest (usually my brother is the first person I call for anything). He is coming over Thursday!

I am excited and nervous all at the same time!

Even though we chat/talk and flirt, I haven’t seen in him a while and I don’t want to screw anything up or send the wrong message so this is where I need the help. What or a combination of what should I use to wipe down the doorknobs, the dryers, his keys, the floor etc to set the tone for long term without doing an overkill

You've got plenty of fascination-type supplies. He's already fascinated or he wouldn't have left his wife AND his mistress for you (well, ok, he was leaving his wife for other reasons).

What you need now is to get the Golden Rule working so this relationship has a solid basis in respect and friendship. Fire of Love isn't a bad start -- it's great for reviving sound but stale marriages -- but you could also use Chuparrosa, Peaceful Home, Blessing, Balm of Gilead buds and/or a pair of cloves (dropped into one of these oils or in a mojo bag).

Thanks for your suggestions Miss Michaele, until the reading, I was very unclear about his feelings towards me hence why I went with the love oils I have (bought them before the reading).

The plan to leave his wife was already in motion before I even came into the picture but I do like the idea that I may have had something to do with him ending the sex-buddy relations

Since I have the fire of love oil on hand, I will "dress up" my home with it before his arrival on Thursday. I only named the love oils but I also have blessing oil, money house blessing and healing oils. I've mixed the blessing and money house blessing oils and use them in my oil warmer each night actually (good to know am already on the right track with that).

I will be sure to add chuparrosa and peacful home to my next order.

Will look into getting the recommended items when I get paid. I did have a question about personal concerns though ... it has been 6 months since we broke up and 1 month since we started talking again. I have moved since then and do not have any of her stuff anymore. I only have one thing that is remotely connected to her. She works at a fast food restaurant and I stop in there to eat and talk to her. Every morning she hands me a receipt with her name (computer) printed on the bottom of it. Was wondering if that would work. But assuming it probably wouldn't.

I am currently in a long distance (lesbian) relationship. My girlfriend is spending three months in another state providing live-in care for her aunt who has alzheimer's.

While I'm proud of her for helping out, it has really put a strain on our relationship. There have been several things happen here and I really need her help at home.

Mostly, though, taking care of her aunt has been really hard for her. Most days she can barely cope with the emotions. She doesn't feel like she can handle it but that she "has to" because she can't let anybody down. She will be gone until December at least unless something happens that will bring her home early - her uncle has trouble finding odd jobs after planting season, the at-home nurse that was there previously recovers from knee surgery, etc.

My question is: what can I do to bring her home sooner than planned? She is wiccan and has friends that study other magickal traditions so I'm afraid anything too obvious and she would know I had done something and be upset.

I don't want anything to happen to her aunt. Just for circumstances to be such that she can come home.

I was thinking about having a candle set for me, but I don't know at this point. Any advice is welcome.

If you work with saints, petition Dr. Hernandez (http://www.luckymojo.com/drhernandez.html) to work with doctors to help her aunt. Also, I found this posting that recommended additional healing conjure (anything-for-alzheimer%CA%B9s-dementia--t11081s30.html). Your friend needs your support considering she made the decision to help her family. Try to be a little more supportive (at least I would). Have you considered visiting her on weekends if this is possible?

Thanks for your suggestions. I will look into it. Also, I apologize if I seem as if I am being unsupportive. It is just that I have been under a lot of stress because of financial and other problems with our family here and could really use the extra help. But more than anything, I know she didn't really want to go but after several months of practically being harassed by her mom to help she let herself feel obligated to go, everything that was arranged for her so that this would not be such a hardship for our family has been basically "flipped" on her since she go there (they have not kept their end of it), she really doesn't have the tempermant to handle taking care of her aunt everyday - she calls me everyday and tells me she wants to "walk out" and come home but can't because she is obligated and her mom will stop talking to her if she does, and even though she has been an out lesbian for more since high school, her mom doesn't improve and she has to lie about who I am while she is there. The whole situation is putting a strain on our relationship. I just don't know how to help her because she has taken to drinking a lot since she got there because she can't handle the stress but she can't tell them she can't handle it. She watched her mother suffer (and die) of brain cancer as a child and this is too much for her. I guess a better question would be how can I help her to be able to handle the time she has left there.

I understand, truly I do; you have to take care of home first and you are trying without her help. But consider working the conjure to help your friend and her aunt during her time there. Also, as mentioned, consider a weekend trip to visit to show support.

For anyone that has had their lover taken away from them through spiritual attack, make sure you cleanse them AND you do protection work. Otherwise, you may endure another attack even though you cleanse, but did not put up any protection.
