I was taught an old trick about helping someone overcome any fear, I think it may be helpful for fear of waters, especially. If you are not adverse to a baptism (this is after all Christian folk-magic) take your son to a river and baptize him in the river in the name of Jesus then anoint his head with 711 Holy Oil and pray that his fears be lifted and that Spirit give him strength, courage, and success in all he does. Then tell him to "go and fear no more"

I saw this done for people who had debilitating fears and it was a beautiful experience.

Hi ConjureMan Ali.

Thank you for the advise. My son was baptized in Catholic church so I am open to do this to help him to overcome his fear, and, it sounds beautiful. :)

I will take him to a river and baptize him soon (I need to order the suggested oil)!
Thank you for protecting me Santa Muerte.

Hi,

On my own Tarot reading I was told to cleanse myself from the past, a very emotional tumultuous time. What are good products for this? Thanks ;)

I would use Cast Off Evil bath salts mixed with 13 Herb Bath. If you are needing to cut remaining emotional ties to a specific person/relationship then I would use Cut and Clear bath salts in place of or mixed in with the Cast Off Evil.

QematetSau --

When you get a tarot reading from a member of AIRR, you will -- IF YOU ASK - be given specific rootworking instructions and spiritual coachin as well. It is important, though, that your tarot card reader also is a practitioner -- and that you let the reader know at the outset that you are a practitoner yourself and that you do intend to follow up the reading with your own personal conjure work.

Good luck.

Thanks Devi Spring!

Thanks Miss cat! I do readings on myself now. So, this is one was on my own. I've had two people from AIRR read for me, and are excellent. I have them read and advise on the bigger stuff for me since I'm an intermediate practitioner. Thanks for the advise!

Hello all,

My step sister has come into a situation with her ex. They have been broken apart for 5-6 years but she could never let him fully "go". I always felt he has a powerful control over her which makes her go back to him and keep talking to him and doing "favors". Well, this past week we found out that he has been living a double life and has a GF (and possibly a baby) for years...... My sister in law confronted him about the girl and if she was his GF about 6 months ago. He denied it back then.

She is now to the point of where she wants nothing to do with him. I wanted to see which products would you recommend so that:
1. he does not contact her ever again
2. his mind is clear/void of thoughts about us
3. And if he attempts to re-influence her, that its bites him back HARD

I am afraid his smooth talk and power over her will dominate her logic and she would rationalize the situation and go back to him.

Any help in this matter i would greatly appreciate it!

Lucky Mojo has two products that must be worked by your step sister. Cut and Clear (http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html)

There are two ways described to work this spell

(1)...fall out of love with your ex-lover forever (the black walnut spell)

(2) ...destroy your past connection to a lover or friend and draw a new and better lover or friend to you in the near future (the cut ad clear spell)

From your description #1 will do it...just be sure that is what she wants.

Hello all.
A male friend of mine confessed that he's been dating a married lady, which helped him recover his wife's loss from cancer some months ago. Now the relationship with the married lady is over, but he suffers from emotional involvement.
I am going to order some cut and clear products right away, but it takes about 2 months for the LM products to come to my country.
Besides he knows nothing about hoodoo and I am not sure that he follows directions.
I am thinking of preparing an oil lamb for him with healing oil and self-heal herbs. Would that do any good if he burns it in his house? Could I add some attraction and or road openong products in it?
How can I help him without making him perform magic?
I have a whole bulk of LM oils, herbs and baths but not cut and clear.
help in advance

If he is actually wanting to clear away the emotional attachment to this woman, then you can give him Cut and Clear bath salts as a gift. Put them into a nice little glass bottle w/ a ribbon, and tell him they are embued with an aromatherapy blend meant to help people move on (or whatever you think will work best). Then perhaps give him a prayer or psalm for moving on, and tell him that when you've had a similar situation, taking a nice bath and praying about it has helped you. You can even say that you did it every day for a week and it worked wonders.

That way it doesn't sound like "magic", it sounds like a relaxing aromatherapy bath with prayer.

Hi rpir09,

The lamp won't hinder and it's a nice gesture on your part regardless. It can help him mend and bring peace of mind.

You could also consider making a poppet with his personal concerns from a waterproof doll and stuffing it with healing and soothing herbs and a john the conqueror root dressed with clarity and king solomon wisdom oil at the heart to give him strength and objective thought/wisdom in matters of the heart. Then you could bathe this doll using 13-herb spiritual bath to help cleanse your friend spiritually from his grief (over his wife's loss).

For the release of emotional ties however, it's a very personal kind of working and will succeed best if he undertakes it himself. While you mention that ''he suffers from emotional involvement'': is this his analysis of the situation or yours? Consider a divination with an AIRR member (http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/wi ... ootworkers) to ascertain if any action on your part is advisable at all and if so, the best route of work to undertake. Most AIRR members can also provide you with invaluable magickal coaching to help you work in the most effective manner possible. Alternatively, they can also back up your work to give it some extra ''oomph''.

For spearating ties however, besides cut and clear, a black walnut bath comes to mind (http://www.herb-magic.com/walnut-whole.html).

Blessings and best of luck to both you and your friend.

Thank you both for inspiring responses.
Yes it is his confession that there is an emotional involvement of which he wants to get rid, as he stated himself. My current question is the meanwhile of about two months that I have to wait before I receive an order of Cut and clear or walnuts from LM.
As for readings, I can not intervene for the time. Maybe later, if he feels like that I could propose to him a reading.
For the time being, I would just like to offer him something as a present.
Thanks again

Healing spells... Hyssop bath? She sounds like she's in a very bad way. Looks further than that, looks like she may have a character trait problem. When it looks like it's out of your hands, better go for a professional healer!

Working with St. Dymphna along with Healing and Tranquility products can do a world of good, and be a fantastic complement to traditional therapies.
She has a fantastic calming and stabilizing energy that can aid one a great deal in regaining mental wellness.

Mindfulness meditation has also been shown to be very helpful with PTSD, so you may want to google more about finding those resources.

I wanted to say Thanks to jwmcclin and im going to suggest Cut and Clear!

Now, as im awaiting my LM products a "situation" has developed. It appears that my sister-in-law has moved away from her X on her own and we are planning to use the Cut and Clear as a definitive cut from him.

It now appears that she has taken a liking to another man with similar characteristics. Im afraid that the cut and clear will get rid of her X but bring this new person into a stronger light. Is there anything that can be done that will move him away as well and find someone she is meant to be with?

She doesn't see the gravity of this man but in the short time it has already caused her to spend all her time with him (he gets upset if he is not around), alot of going out and drinking (with him) and she has turned her back on her friend (this same friend she turned her back with her X). She doesn't admit anything she is doing with him to us. Its like hes a CARBON copy of her X.

I would like to work something that will move him away, open her heart and mind to what she really wants (not a replacement), and keep these controlling creeps away from her. Any idea on what LM products and work could be done to get this completed?

Thanks in advance!

Not to be offensive but it appears your sister may have some personal "issues" that attract the same kind of guy because that is no coincidence.

I would do Cast off Evil to rid your sister of bad influences and men who mean her no good. I would then take a white female image candle to represent your sister, a personal concern of hers, and apply healing and protection oils, curios, herbs and/or sachets. You could follow this up with some kind of attraction work so that she only brings good influences into her life.

I prob wouldn't let her know about the Cast Off Evil though, she may resist it on an unconscious level, which could hinder the work. These are things you can work for her on your own, of course.

And of course, be careful with defining what YOU THINK she thinks she needs. I am the same way with my sister but at the same time she is her own person, so I can't be that deep, I just ask that the person she decides to be with loves her and respects her ultimately. But I am sure you know this :D

Hi,

I am new to the form. I took cat's rootworker class and graduated way back in 2007. I am now getting back into the works and had been using it now and then.

I really need help now.

My husband and I have been together for 40 1/2 years in Jan. Back on 10/31/2010 he left his word program open on the computer and fell asleep while watching tv. It was full of sexual stuff to a woman that he used to date way back when I was in high school. I do not know how long this sexual stuff and feelings were going on.

He just went crazy when I said what is this!!!!!! He turned it around on me for reading it. He would not forgive me for reading it when I should have kicked him out then.

We have been together forever. I am 57 and I was 15 1/2 when we first started dating.

I sat in that bed room beating myself up and feeling guilty till the end of Dec. 31st, 2010, when I started to crack up. I was sent to a mental ward on New Years for a nervous break down over this!!

We are going to get a divorce but we just have not done anything yet. I hate him. The other day I found 3 pictures of her he printed in Nov. 2010.

Going to use candle spells to clear all. I would like to make her just have an awful life and to get his butt out of here. He is so controlling and mean, and yells at me all the time.

Please give advise what I can do -- Damnation, Destruction, Crossing, Hotfoot -- just not sure.

Thank you,

hoodoowoman857

Hi hoodoowoman857,

Welcome to the forum (and congratulations on your 2007 course graduation ;) )

For the situation that you're in, getting a reading by a professional in AIRR (http://www.readersandrootworkers.org/in ... ootworkers) in order to ascertain the best course of action and get some magickal coaching would no doubt be helpful.

If you intend to do any crossing work, I'd advise against working on your ex-husband if he is still in the house - but that is a personal opinion. Get him out first, work after. Furthermore, since there is so much history between the two of you - it's extremely important that you do sufficient cleansing and protection for yourself throughout and after the work.

Finally, although it is tempting to work against him - first and foremost consider working for yourself. Get the divorce. Perform a cut and clear. Work with Clarity, King Solomon's Wisdom and Crucible of Courage products to help you move on to better and rewarding horizons. From what you describe, your husband is verbally abusive and no one should have to put up with that: you're worth far more. So rather than waste any more of your precious time on him and his activities - shower yourself with the affection and love that every human being is entitled to.

Blessings and strength to you in your time of trial.

Hi all, a little back story before my questions. I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and have been under a Doctor's care for this. It has been going on for over six years now, taking two years to diagnose. I am very happy to say that the anxiety has lessened to a point and I have learned to control it enough that I have been off of my daily medication for several months now and am doing very well (can't tell you the last time I had a full-blown panic attack- which used to be a daily thing for me) :D However, from time to time I still feel it sneak up on me and would like to know if anyone has suggestions on LM products I should use. Would the Tranquility line be the best choice or Blessing? Also wondering if a candle spell would be a good choice or would a mojo bag be better? I was thinking about a mojo bag since I could keep it on me and ask it for help when I feel the anxiety coming on. I will be ordering cleansing products in my next order and want to figure this out even though it might be a while before I can order a mojo. Anyway, I truly appreciate any advise given and want to thank everyone who posts on the forums- I have gotten so much priceless information here the last few weeks and hopefully one day I can be one of the people answering the questions instead of asking ;)

I recommend that you work with Saint Dymphna Spirtual Products (http://www.luckymojo.com/saintdymphna.html), she is the Patron Saint for those suffering from nervous afflictions such as anxiety. I would start with the bath and vigil candle and sprinkle the sachet in your room. It is fine to add Healing (http://www.luckymojo.com/products-healing.html) and/or Blessing (http://www.luckymojo.com/blessing.html) spiritual supplies as you perform this ritual.

Also, if you've never tried Rescue Remedy - give it a shot! It's a flower essence blend that is AMAZING for aiding anxiety when it starts to creep up, or even if it's already overtaken you. You can get it at nearly any health food store.

You may also wish to talk to a naturopath or herbalist if taking passionflower tincture would be appropriate for you, because that is also really effective for when you feel that you're going to have a stressful day, or are dealing with baseline generalized anxiety at any given time.

You can also sprinkle Lucky Mojo's Peace Water around your home, as it really does help establish a lovely calm atmosphere.

I dealt with debilitating anxiety and panic disorder for 15 years, so I tried pretty much everything out there at one point or another.

And yes, St. Dymphna is definitely who you wish to petition for this. :)

For any medical issue, even psychological ones, I like to call on Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez. He was a medical researcher and provided free medical care to the poor. He's a humble and compassionate friend in the spiritual realm. You seem to have your ducks in a row WRT diagnosis and access to care, but since your issue is anxiety, you might find it comforting to know he has your back.

You might also want to consider a blessing/healing lamp on your altar -- an oil lamp with the flame turned low, 24/7. You can place blessing and healing herbs right in the oil reservoir. Blue is the peace color; If you can't get a blue lamp or blue lamp oil, you can go to an art supply house or crafts store and get paints suitable for use on glass, and just paint the lamp itself.

Oh yes, links to the Lucky Mojo pages and products mentioned in this thread:
And one more: Hope this helps,

Thank you all for these wonderful ideas! I have a cleansing soap I used for the first time yesterday (I'm using until I can place my order for 13 Herb and uncrossing baths) and oh man I felt great afterwards- kind of dizzy I felt so much lighter. I never really thought I was crossed up or anything but I guess we all carry negative energy. I can't wait to get the baths and use some of the stuff mentioned above! Another quick question- I was planning on mixing a Protection sachet with some body powder and applying it after each bath and whenever I feel the need, would this be sufficient protection for someone who doesn't work with clients and so far only does drawing work? Thanks!

My ex and I were married for 12 years. We have been divorced for less than a year. I moved out of state after we got divorced and then moved back in with him a month later because we wanted to reconcile. As soon as we moved back in together - I was far from happy. A few months passed and we split again with the intentions that we would work on our issues. He and I work together and at work we are good friends and everything is fine. We can even have drinks together and it's good. But honestly, if we have a date night and then spend the night together - the old feelings of unhappiness and dis pare come back to me. I even have major digestive issues when we spend a lot of time together. I will admit - he uses me as a human battery. I'm always drained around him.

I want to get on with my life. I have been given a second chance and I want to spread my wings and fly and reach my goals. I have a lot of internal work to do on myself, I admit it...and I need to focus on healing me before I can ever think of another relationship. But I need to get past this. What do I need to do to help him move on (heal his heart) and for me to move on and stay moved on. It's not so much that my heart needs healing; but I have a very hard time saying no to him. I want us to remain friends - because as friends we work...it's just the couple thing that doesn't work.

Do I need to do a separation spell?

I recommend Cut & Clear Spiritual Supplies with the Walnut Bath (http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html). Also consider Healing Spiritual Supplies (http://www.luckymojo.com/products-healing.html) for relief of sorrow and to mend emotional and physical problems. Blessing Spiritual Supplies (http://www.luckymojo.com/blessing.html) are another option, used to bring spiritual healing to one who is troubled in mind and body.

Well, I think the Cut and Clear would work nicely for you and him. Specifically, in your petition you want to be clear from the past strings of attachment from the romantic past. Essentially you are cutting your romantic and relationship ties that bind you.

I dont think you should do a separation spell, as you want to maintain the friendship. So I wouldn't opt for that. Now for him, you may want to do some clarity work to see that you and him are not right for each other as romantic partners, or that date nights are not the best thing.

www.luckymojo.com/products-clarity.html

This will help remove the confusion as well. Then I would actually burn a candle to strengthen the friendship aspect of this situation.
Thank u St. Martha for everything you have done on my behalf.

Since you put this in the catagory "Ask for Conjure Help with Cleansing, Health, Healing, and Blessing" I would suggest starting with a 13-herb bath to get rid of any negative conditions in your life and cleansing your house with Chinese Wash. Then you can work on attracting whatever will make you happy.

You might also want to include Hyssop or Cast Off Evil, if you are (or think you might be) partly at fault in your troubles.

Hope this helps,

Hoodoowoman857, First let me say I am very sorry for the pain you are feeling now. I think all of us have felt the sting of betrayal. Please know that none of this is your fault. I understand your anger, but I suggest some healing work for everyone involved, especially yourself! Get a reading from Miss cat, or another professional at AIRR for some help with how to proceed from here. Definately Bless and Heal yourself but since he is still at home with you, you may consider employing some of Lucky Mojo's Peaceful Home supplies to keep things civil during the divorce. I believe Peaceful Home formulas contain rosemary which is a wonderful herb that empowers women & could quite possibly quell his mean controlling nature. I know when we are angry, "peace" products are the last thing on our minds, but think of it as laying down the primer before you paint! Keeping him quiet and subdued, you will be in a better position to proceed as you see fit, down the road. Good luck and God Bless!

I actually would think that cut and clear would be a good to cut anything off from the past along with some healing products.

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone can help me out- my mom is depressed and lonely, and I feel so badly about it. Here is some background info perhaps to why she is feeling that way:
She got married to my dad in 1976 only to lose him in April of 78 (killed in the line of duty). I was born in July of 78. I had a lovely childhood, She always made sure of it; she did date but only to be badly hurt by a con artist-this completely destroyed her trust in future relationships- with anyone......she is a 3x breast cancer survivor, and presently watches my 2 year old son 5 days a week. I know this can be a bit much for her, but now she has become depressed even more-main thing is that she doesn't go out of the house at all! She does not drive, and has things delivered sometimes or mostly waits for me to go places. Please don't take me wrong-She cares for my son as best a grandmother could and deserves whatever help I can be to her. But sometimes it gets too much for me-I am an only child, me and my husband both work full time, and I might be pregnant with a second child. She is upset over this and tells me what a bad decision maker me and my husband are. She constantly insults my husband,(I have posted about their quarrels before) and makes me feel now like I am a failure as a daughter and a mother-nothing is ever good enough for her, her house is very disorganized and she says how she is "always alone". I have tried talking to her, trying to get her to join groups or something to no avail. So I try to spend as much time with her as I can, it makes me exhausted(all the negative energy!) and is even putting a strain on my marriage. My husband says i ignore him, sometimes I feel like I should have never gotten married; I feel that if I am happy and live my life, it is making her miserable and I feel guilty. Please, what can I do? (Sorry for the long post :-( )

Your first loyalty is to your husband and son; don't let your mother change that. Light an Adam and Eve candle for your marriage, or a white candle dressed with Adam and Eve oil.

Your mother should have a full medical exam and maybe a psychological one also, to make sure she does not have any health issues that are causing her to act this way. She needs to make some friends her own age, maybe at church, a senior center, or the Red Hat Club, and stop making you her whole life. Maybe a Road Opener for her would help, and a Peaceful Home honey jar to sweeten her up and encourage her to be nicer to you and her husband.

The word that hit me the most in your post is depression...espically how she never goes anywhere, that makes it worse. Wether or not she is is for a dr to diagnose, maybe she just needs counseling to get thru her past. I have dealt with a long depression and I suggest using healing/blessing/tranquility products. I have had much success with healing and tranquility. Maybe you could "make her a candle" dressed with healing/tranquility oils or herbs, or do a honey jar with those herbs/oils and use blessing oil for the candles. But please encourage her to get help to see a dr about what you feel is depression. A road opener vigil candle also helped me.

You might also try working with St. Dymphna on behalf of your mother to heal her mind and emotions.

So I have a question is their any difference in the spell kit of Cut & Clear and the walnut bath, is one more effective than the other? I'm going to purchase some items for cut and clear and I just want to know the best way to make the most out of the spell. Thanks!

Yes there are differences read further here (http://www.luckymojo.com/cutandclear.html)

To use the words of one of our moderators, Devi Spring

"Cut and Clear will help you have the emotional distance you need to be happy and healthy and move on, while allowing you to remain civil for the sake of the child <if children are involved>. The Black Walnut permanently removes a person from your life, so that is not appropriate at all in this situation where you need to have continuing contact."

Well I have no children evolved, I just had a reading done on the radio show, and ConjureMan suggested for me to get a Cut & Clear spell, I'm just wondering what is more preferable for me to do either the black walnut spell or just use the spell kit. Thanks!

You can do either or both. Personally, I like spellkits because they include instructions. The Cut & Clear does not include the Black Walnuts although you can order them from the same website...and I would most definitely follow ConjureMan's advice. Cut & Clear! During a consultation with an AIRR worker today I was told to take baths using Epsom salts and vinegar - which LM bath product could I purchase to use in place of these two products? Thanks.

If your AIRR worker told you to bathe with epsom salt and vinegar, then I would follow their advice and not try to substitute.

I agree with Devi-Epsom salt is often used for blessing-but as it is a salt it can also be used for cleansing and vinegar is almost always used for cleansing/purifying. Something like the 13 herb bath might work, but you should really ask your worker.

If your worker told you to bathe in Epsom Salts and Vinegar then I think you should bathe in Epsom Salts and Vinegar... That is why you are working with your rootworker correct??? Do not start to work against yourself and your worker by second-guessing or substituting, please! Your results will be much more sparkle-y if you follow their personalized advice for you and your situation!

After advice from my Rootworker I have been taking baths (Epsom salts and Vinegar until I receive LM products to use) to clear negative emotions and balance electrical magnetic energies. Is it OK to take a regular shower straight after my bath?

In hoodoo, you're advised to shower first, rinse, then do your ritual bath, and then air-dry afterward.

Hi Everyone. On the advice of my rootworker I've been taking baths with epsom salts and vinegar (while I'm waiting for LM products to arrive) to clear negative emotions and balance my electrical magnetic energies. While I've been in the bath I've been praying to the Saints who I am hoping to work with - I have just had a thought, should I be praying to the Saints for their help while having such a bath?

Thanks

Anna

We ask the Saints for their intercession on certain issues that we have, for example, you are working on clearing and cleansing negative vibes while bathing with salts and vinegar.
