No really... you need this.
I ordered this to spiritually cleanse my house and saw on the label that it can be used as a bath. I added three capfuls to a damp sea sponge and worked up into a good lather. I hopped into the shower and stroked downward staring from the top of my head (I even did the soles of my feet) all the while reciting a personal prayer. I rinsed and was suddenly overcome with a strong feeling of exuberance. That was two hours ago and I'm still feeling SO DAMN GOOD! I have this sense of well being that can't be beat. Even though its a household cleanser, it did not dry out my skin. It also left a nice scent on my skin and hair. I can't wait to see what happens when I clean my house!

The last bottle of Chinese wash I got is kind of cloudy and whitesh at the top of the bottle.

I mean the wash itself, not the glass. It smells like the other bottles, and the rest of the bottle seems like the other Chinese washes I have gotten from Lucky Mojo.

My question is if anyone has gotten one of these before? I know some variation would be normal because the ingredients are natural and herbal, should I just shake it up? its kind of liquidy on the white parts. Does anyone know what this is?

Yes, the first bottle of Chinese Wash I ever got from LM about four? five? years ago? was that way, in fact. I asked Miss Cat about it, and she told me it was normal - some bottles just -do- that.

I know spiritual cleansing with Chinese Wash is used to get rid of the bad stuff someone has put on us. But what if we have done good spells like maybe Crown of Success, Master Key, etc. will that also go?

And if someone does a Protection spell of Cleansing spell for me, after that can I do spell work on myself to draw money, love etc? Or will the protection work or Chinese Wash make my good positive work also ineffective? Ideally it shouldn't but just want to make sure...

Dear path2success,

You are thinking things backwards. The work does what we intend it to do. State your intentions clearly, pray over your scrub water, and don't obsess about things going wrong.

Depends on what you are doing it for. If it's just for general spiritual cleansing, then you can do it whenever you feel like it. You can just add some to your regular mop water.

If you are using it as part of a larger uncrossing/cleansing work, then it would depend on the nature and length of that work.

If you use it right before dawn on a day when the moon is decreasing, you can remove unwanted things or energies is good for one-time use.

If you are doing a strong cleansing, then three times a week, every third week, for three months would be a good suggestion.

If you use it every time you clean, you will establish a nice spiritually clean foundation in your home and make it harder for nasty spirits, negativity and jinxes to stabilize in your home.

I am using 13 Herb Bath. It says to use one scoop of 13 herb, 13 day supply, with the attached wooden scoop. Now, it is not very much and there is going to be plenty left over even when I am done with the 13 days.

Can any herbs left over be added to Chinese Wash for cleansing in the future? I just want to make sure I am using enough herbs so I have been using a little more in the muslin bag.

Oh, and if you do not do the bath PERFECT IN EVERY WAY does that mean it can backfire on you in a negative way? Like increasing bad things in your life?

I use about a handful of the 12 Herb Bath mixture each day of the cleansing. If you feel worried about portioning it out, then separate it into 13 portions before you begin. Just tie each bundle into some cheesecloth.

If you have any left over, you can brew tea of it, like for a bath, and then add it to your Cjinese wash for cleaning the house as a floor wash or scrub.

There is another thread in the forum about "spells backfiring," and doing spells "perfectly." Yu could read that if you have doubts. Basically what it says there is that you should focus on your good ideas and not worry so much about your fears.

Hi all,
I was talking with a friend of mine who runs a hairdressing places..she wanted to know if she could put Chinese wash in her bottle of store bought windex to clean the mirrors and other glass shelves etc in her store for the blessing/cleaning's effect.
I said it would be fine since we put it in the floor wash water ..but figured i would just check it out on the forum here..could not find any similar thread
please give yr opinion sp if chinese wash is NOT meant to be used this way

It would need to be diluted first, but should work fine.

Hi folks,

I sell a lot of Chinese Wash in my shop. I have used it myself with excellent success and I absolutely love it. However, I get this question a lot from clients who are asking for spiritual clearing and need to cleanse their homes: " If I use this will it clear out all the good spirits and energies too?"

Just wondering what the actual answer to that is? I tell them that it will not but I am not really sure. Any ideas???

The fearfulness with which some newcomers to hoodoo approach the work -- and i will go further here and say that most of them are White and not from the traditional US South -- is sad. I feel sorry for their fearfulness, which at times verges on OCD contamination phobias, but all i can do is say to them that their attitudes come from a different culture, not the one in which conjure developed.

As jwmcclin so rightly said, the bottle reads "Clear away that evil mess with Lucky Mojo Chinese Wash." In conjure culture, the term "that evil mess" is a euphemism for jinxes, enemy rootwork, or anything physically thrown with the intention of causing crossed conditions. In other words, the product selectively targets and wipes out curses and bad luck.

Not only that, the user who was raised in conjure culture will have learned as a youngster how to pray while cleaning with Chinese Wash, and that the prayers will be for the bad to be gone and the good to be enhanced. The 23rd Psalm is usual -- and it is not a prayer that will send away angels or guardian spirits.

Try to work with clients and customers who are new to hoodoo by reassuring them that they have entered into a world of long-standing Southern family spiritual traditions, not some freaky wild-energy-teen-witchcraft movie.

Thanks cat, I notice that the clients in my shop who are Hispanic and work in the Curandera/o traditions are not afraid and there is actually another Rootworker here (a nice black man from N. Carolina!) who is now working in tandum with my shop and is totally excited about it. You are right though that the clients who are freaked out are usually white and into witchcraft. Hmmm! Thanks though on how to handle this with ease! Still love the Chinese wash so much and have had awesome success in my personal life with it. Maya......

The only question i have is, do i just pour some of the water from the pail on ground and use a mop and just mop outwards towards the door? I read somewhere about using a broom?
I thought for an extra touch i'd smoke the room with frankinscence and myrrh afterwards.

I do the spray bottle technique for carpets and old fashioned mopping for my hard floors, but after reading this page again (thanks, Cat) I'm SO TOTALLY going to start using mojo on my Swiffer for in-between major house cleansings, too! Brilliant.

Hi all,
here are my questions:
1. Chinese wash: can I add various oils such as money drawing, fast luck come to me, and love me in to the wash at the same time? can I dispense the left over wash in my backyard?
2. Uncrossing bath crystals: Can I dispense the water at the crossroad at night or does it have to be close to sunrise?
3. Road opener bath crystals: should I do this anotehr day after I do the uncrossing bath? should I dispense the remains in the crossroad like uncrossing or this one can be in my front yard? can I toss the water in the evening?

1. I would not add any oils to it. I would let it be a strong cleanser by itself. If you want to go behind it with a floor wash for drawing, then do so after you've cleansed it well. Dispose at a crossroads, or at the very least well off your property - as you don't want what you just cleared away to just soak right back into your grounds.

2. "Before sunrise" can be stretched to mean between midnight and sunrise - so you can pick a time in that frame that works for you.

3. Yes, do the road opening separate from the uncrossing bath. I would dispose of this at the crossroads since it is clearing away obstacles that you don't want hanging around.

I'm planning to do the uncrossing on saturday.
should I do the road opener on sunday or wait till Monday (on new moon)?

I would do the Uncrossing & Chinese Wash on the days leading up to the new moon. Wait until it begins to wax again for Road Opening.

Does "throw the water toward the sunrise in the East" mean face the east and throw the water over left shoulder (towards the west)?
Do I use the same direction to throw water for uncrossing, road opener and attraction baths?

No -it means throw the water towards the east. Some do it over their shoulder, and some do not. It's your choice.
Some people throw banishing work towards the west, so that the sun takes it away from you; and in the East for the sun to bring what you need to you.
I tend to just throw things to the East and let the crossroad do its job.

Hello everyone

My husband and I are in the middle of remodeling our house. At the moment it is physically a disaster area as well as having a very scattered energy feel to it.
My question:
I would like to do a physical and spiritual cleansing of the house when the work is done (in about a week) and I'm wondering if Chinese Wash would be appropriate to use for this purpose?

It seems to happen when the weather is cold, and once they go cloudy, they don't turn clear again, even when the weather warms up, unless we actually heat them, like in an oven, very hot. Some trick of chemistry ...

So you're not supposed to throw the used Chinese Wash water in your front yard (mine faces East)? What happens if you do? The bad energy stays there?

Well, you're basically throwing the mess into your own yard. So it didn't go very far! LOL. You want to dispose of it AT LEAST off of your property, though a crossroads is best. Generally speaking with mopwater, I do the same as with baths - I take a small portion to the crossroads, but I dump the bulk of the water off of my property (usually out into the public street).

So what should I do to cleanse the spot in my front yard where I dumped it? Toss a fresh bucket of Wash water on it? Burn some Cast Off Evil incense over the area?

In the future, can I just flush the used Wash down the toilet? I don't really like the idea of it just sitting out somewhere if it's still got bad energy in it. I just figured it was like sanitizer and killed the bad stuff on contact, you know?

Yes, you could flush it - but I would still take a small portion to the crossroads.

You can do a divination to find out if you need to repeat the cleansing or not.

In my most recent LM order, I ordered two bottles of Chinese wash because I knew I was going to be doing a major mundane and spiritual cleansing of my place, which includes deep cleaning the carpets in the two bedrooms. I added about a teaspoon of CW to each fill up on the steam cleaner, and now I have the yummiest smelling place EVER!

Not only do I literally feel the gunk being cleaned out of my house, CW has a lovely real lemon smell to it which has always been on of my favorite smells in the house since childhood. I foresee a lot of ritual cleaning going on in my house whether it needs it or not, just to have this smell around! Yet again I tip my hat to Miss Cat and her staff for another great product!

I keep going into the spare bedroom (where I used it yesterday) and sniffing! Now that the carpet's dried, the smell is fainter, but it's still there and I love it!

And I know I'll sound horribly crazy, but I seriously want to go swimming in Cat's Rose Water......I've always loved that scent too, and her blend is beyond lovely. Can't stop sniffing that bottle too!

I like to make a face-spritz with rose water, witch hazel, and frankincense essential oil. It's fantastic for the complexion and smells divine, too!

i am trying to make sure that my house is clean and safe after much negativity has transpired. so we are
doing a full Chinese wash on the house, and i realized some flaws in the plan, the basement is layered with concrete slabs, stone walls and dirt. how do i wash this?

The first wash of a white painted floor made red water,an odd effect, and the green painted floor made black. i figured it was probably from formerly being occupied by my nasty SIL. These rooms i have scrubbed twice, and are now peaceful. but i still have the full basement, and the outside to cleanse, this includes a garden where we grow our food and our driveway and the car, can i use Chinese wash on a car and bicycles?

o and something we noticed, that as we dumped each bucket once the water got really nasty and every time, a LARGE truck or car came out of nowhere and almost hit us as we stand on the side of the road. this is weird cause we started this floor washing after 10 last nite and we live on a back road.

i dont want to get rid of my rugs, mattresses and upholstered chairs, but how can the wash be used on them other then as a laundry additive?

Just to be clear, what is the floor itself made of? Even if it is an actual dirt floor you can clean the place buy burning incense, sage is good, or sweep the place with a new broom that you spray with a solotion of Chinese wash and water.

If you can rent or borrow a power-washer used to hose down the outside of houses, and if this would be do-able with whatever kind of exterior you have, you can mix some Chinese wash into the water. But honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it, its the inside of the house you want to deal with, same for the drive way and garden. As for the car and bikes, yes you can wash them down with Chinese Wash.

Mix it into a spray bottle with water (I prefer clean rain water personally) and pray over it, then use that to spritz your mattresses, chairs,rugs and the like, works great for the inside of cars too. Wipe them down with a clean cloth. Also for the rugs and crapets, you can add Chinese Wash to a steam mop
