Can Lemongrass or verbena be used in a sugar jar with the intention of unblocking or road opening for career related work? In jar I currently have gravel root, five finger grass and calamus (for subtle control of individuals). I was thinking though lemongrass might be just the thing I need. Any advice?

Also, if I need to open the jar to add it, should I smoke some sage in there or just pray my intention again and keep going?

So you made it to attract good people to hire or to get a bunch of other people? If not, it does indeeed sound strange.
If you are working a jar for yourself to get hired and want something to open the road it could make sense. But I would use it with great care, since you dont want to much of an opening. Road opening stuff can be used to get people fired as well. Better to go with things that make people love you, think you are sociable and financially ok already.

The latter. To get more specific, I'm composing a jar to help a Relative get interviewed and hired by companies. Aside from job related herbs like gravel root and five finger grass, I would like to open up the roads at these companies (sometimes there are blocks like time delays or budget issues) and influence the hiring managers/interviewers to bring her in. The people I'm working in the jar are hiring managers/interviewers at those particular companies.

To clarify, are you saying lemongrass could cause them to open the road and fire someone to then hire her? What do you mean by showing them she's financially stable since she is the job seeker?

Lately I have been lacking motivation and this really is annoying because I dislike this feeling its not me I know I can be more motivated but I feel drained. And I'm so drained at times I'm unable to defend myself against the negative energy of others and that's more energy that is drained. I was lacking Iron but I have dealt with that, but its the motivation and get out there more and mix and mingle that I want back. But I don't know how to attain it.

Also, let me put on my registered nurse hat for a minute: in addition to the great ideas that Devi Spring gave you, please see a doctor or medical professional to be screened for depression. Have your Vitamin D level checked as well; in the winter, the lack of sunlight can really drain your Vitamin D and leave you exhausted; it happened to me last winter. There are ways to help with that.

I have a statue, and keep a candle, glass of water, and whiskey available for him. This is for ongoing energy.

When I make a petition, and he comes through, I pay him with pound cake and red roses.

Sometimes he will come through without my asking. During Hurricane Irene, he got me a cab ride to the train so I could get out of New York ahead of the storm. I paid him with pound cake and a rose on the road.

But in general, for procrastination, just the candle, water, whiskey, etc. LM has oils, incense, etc. for working with this saint.

I am planning to perform a road opener and a cut and clear for myself and wondering a few things before I start.
What is the best day for cut and clear ? I was planning it for saturday but not sure if this is the best day.

Should the road opener be done before or after the cut and clear or can these two spells be worked at the same time?

Should the road opener candle be left to burn in one go or burnt for a while each day I was planning mon wed and fri since it is for a love situation.

Whether the Road Opener should be done before or after in this case depends what the Road Opener is for. You are not saying, so it may be assumed that it is connected to finding a new love or open up the path to the freedom of being single.
In that case the Road Opener can be considered as opening the door before throwing out the dirty washwater. I would have done the Road Opener first. They could be worked at the same time. But only divination will give the answers best suitable to your specific case.
I would burn it all in one sequence, since it is about a definite cutting action. If neccesary I would add a new candle every day for 9,13 or 21 days.

Yes, adding yours and your partners concerns to a petition paper would add more power.
One part of the petition paper could be kept if you listed your own name and all the desired attributes of your soon to be ex. lover. Or you toss both, but at opposite sides of town.

If only burning one candle I would have deposited it inside or close by your soon to be ex.

I have been working with LM's wonderful miraculous products since 2009. In the 2.5 short years since I have accomplished mroe than the preceding 25. I do not lie. I believe some of it was me psyching myself I was not successful and some was my ex'es jinxing...regardless, all that is behind me now.

I have since moved on in my career, have a steady job and things are better. I count my blessings everyday and am much more prayerful and at peace.

I am not a huge believer in new year resolutions. however i would like to incorporate magical working in my everyday as a lifestyle change, and think i am ready to move away from "just in time hoodoo" to a more methodical practice. Even though the former still works very well

I would like advice from the forum for the following areas that I like to always be working on.

1. Cleansing self, home and family
2. Money magic
3. Success at work
4. Health and fitness
5.Safety and protection; being invisible to enemies/competitors

Well, yes, conjure is part of my lifestyle at this point in time.

1. Each day I spiritually cleanse my body at least twice - usually in the morning and in the evening. There are many different ways you can do that, depending on what methods of cleansing you enjoy and which work for your schedule. I like working with sprays, and with bath products in the shower.
As far as my home is concerned, each and every day some form of cleansing incense in burned in my home. I use natural home cleansing products to which I add spiritual cleansing products, so that when I do routine day to day cleaning I am also cleansing spiritually. And once a month I wash the floors with Chinese Wash and smudge the heck out of the place.

2. Get some form of ongoing prosperity magic going that you work on a little each day. Using a lodestone in the work, such as the Money Stay With Me kit sets up, is a great way to do this. Fixed oil lamps are another. Treat your money with respect - dress it, pray over it, and don't crumple cash up in the pockets, fold it neatly and treat it as the ally it is. Learn to budget and to stick to that budget. Dress your body daily with oils/powders that will draw Prosperity to you.

3. I don't know what you do for a living so I can't be very specific, but Commanding and Crown of Success mojos and products are great for this. You can also dress your body with appropriate oils/powders.

4. Again, I don't know what your goals are in this area, but you can use Sun products to keep your health up, and if you're looking to lose weight or maintain your healthy weight the Triple Strength Weight Loss Mojo can be a big help in keeping you healthy and motivated.

Putting oils in the bath products is an excellent idea. I have done cleansing baths before but it does not really work in my kind of shower: too messy and time consuming for the way my shower/bath is set up. I will look up appropriate oils.

Can you recommend a cleansing smudge/incense that is not too intense , my husband is not fond of perfumes, so I am always on the lookout for subtle perfumes. I also have contemplated using room diffusers with incenses ( like a few drops in the "Glade" bottles that plug in and diffuse gradually ), but still looking for a nice floral smelling cleanisng and protecting oil.

I would very much like to start the year with Dr Kioni's spell on wealth creation. I wonder if anyone has any personal experience with it and can share any useful dos and donts on the issue. I also plan to do a monthly version of sending out 'hunting money'...have done this a few times and money has come in several fold...i think magic should also be 'worked at' with as much consistency as our regular jobs , so it becomes second nature

I typically use CoS in my work..ie before tests/exams and such and have had excellent success...also carry a CoS and steady work mojo at work. Not sure how to amp it up more beyond that..??

I tried using a weight loss mojo, but for some reason it did not work for me. procrastination in fitness is my biggest problem. Not sure what else to try.

Get an oil diffuser where you just put a few drops of oil into a small bowl filled with water, underneath which you light a teacandle. Don't use Glade stuff - it's just all toxic synthetic chemicals. Put a few drops of whatever LM oil you wish, and it will fill the room with a lovely delicate scent with accompanying lovely spiritual effects.

If procrastination is an issue, petition St. Expedite who is the patron of procrastinators. He will help you find a way to overcome that.

Alright.

To be more specific I have lost all interest in writing, a passion that I have had for eleven years. I suppose that I have become burnt out in my craft and no longer enjoy it. However I am terribly depressed without it and am continuously lingering on the subject. I don't feel like myself without this hobby. Without it I feel like nothing more than an empty shell. I was searching for ways to bring that fire, love and passion that I had before back but I haven't found one as of yet and this has only served to depress me even more than I already was. So as a last resort, I thought that I'd ask here.

I have heard that your love of a hobby comes back on its own over a length of time but I do not want to wait weeks, months nor even years for my passion of the written word to return. There are spells for regaining love for people, there are spells to make someone love you or take an interest in you, there are spells to regain passion in a relationship. So there has to be a spell or a way to regain passion, love and perhaps even fun in an art form or hobby. I'm not the type of girl to give up on something, especially not something that I have spent eleven years of my life doing.

Do you think going to the crossroads and making a pact with the black man could help me? I know that he is wonderful for learning skills and the like, but can he renew my fire and passion for a craft?

For the past few months I have been very unmotivated when it comes to workings, anything I start I go about half heartedly and of course I get absolutely no result. I haev all these things I "want" to do but I can't bring myself to do them...it is like I am blocked or in the most gigantic rut I have ever been in. Has anyone else ever experienced this and if so are there any tips for pulling yourself out of this? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated...I do so miss my work and the excitement I used to feel about it.

Do a run of 13 days of Uncrossing or 13-Herb Baths. After each bath, air dry yourself and dress your body with Crown of Success oil or Crucible of Courage oil, or Sachet Powders, or both.

Also, make sure you see a doctor to check yourself out; some emotional problems have a physical source (like depression, caused by an imbalance of brain chemicals that really kills your motivation).

As for being clean before bed...I've always understood that you should be physically clean before beginning a cleansing bath i.e. you don't want to take a bath, shampoo your hair and rinse it in the bathwater, and then add your bath crystals to this and cleanse with the mix, etc; so taking your normal bathing routine in the evening and then waking before dawn to take your spiritual bath should be appropriate.

I need a spell for a good haircut.

I'm about to embark on a major life change. To put it briefly, I am finally (hopefully) coming out of a long period of manic depression and going back to finish school. While I was learning how to manage my illness, I withdrew from society a lot and became very reclusive. Going back to finish school would be my first real experience with lots of people in a long time, and I want something to symbolize what that means to me.

It may sound silly to other people, but fashion and appearance are a large part of my identity and self-expression. When I was depressed, I stopped caring about so many things that I even stopped caring about that and really let myself go.

Now that I am taking that first step into the world again, I want something that expresses who I am (whoever that is). Getting the right haircut for me, finding a stylist that understands what I want would be that thing.

So...any suggestions? Would a wish spell or something else be appropriate for this very specific concern?

If you haven't started working with St. Dymphna, do so -- just on general principles.

I have no idea if there's a patron saint of fashion -- there seems not to be -- but why not start an altar, just a simple thing with some pictures and candles, to your favorite fashion designers and beauty mavens? Maybe even a few pictures of their most stellar creations ? Don't limit yourself to the living, either: Coco Chanel, Schiaparelli, Worth.... call on their spirits to aid you!

Melissa, I'd try a love candle with a petition to love yourself. I suffer from an extremely cruel perfectionistic streak, and much of those feelings stem from a place of not loving myself enough. In other words, you think that you're unworthy and low because of your (perceived) faults and imperfections, and are therefore unlovable. Soooo...do some love spell work with you as the recipient.

(And, er, I'll be doing the same thing, now that I thought of it. Heh.)

Does an uncrossing need to be done only at sunrise? I am in the process of doing an uncrossing bath cleansing and the problem for me is that I work at night and do not get up until the mid afternoon.
