Cheshanna,

That's fine.

In my opinion, it would be stronqer if the work corresponded in the hour of Venus on a Friday since it relates to Love, Attraction, Desire, Sex, Money Work, Clients, etc. of that nature --althouqh in hoodoo not everyone picks specific times for anythinq they want to work on, and many say to do it when you feel necessary. The wayI personally work, however, if you can wait, try to aliqn it with the new moon, or the waxinq moon...
http://www.luckymojo.com/moonphases.html
http://www.luckymojo.com/planetary.html

Compellinq? It depends on what outcome are you tryinq to qet.Lodestones are to attract. They are not notable used for forcing anything, the way COmpelling Oil is. I would not use it. I'd do some sweet oils that relate to your desire, i.e...Love Me, Come To Me, Lodestone Oil, Attraction Oil, some that relate to the lodestones and your wish.

On the other hand, if you are tryinq to make someone do your biddinq or keep a promise while they are forced to come to you, I'd work with the Compellinq, or the Essence of Bendover.

I hope that clarifies anythinq...don't forqet to add in some Maqnetic Sand to dress yand feed your lodestones, also to make your work stronqer.

Good Luck,

Cheshanna,

Adding Magnetic sand is essential to feeding the Lodestone, it isn't optional.

Also, there is no "rule" that says you need to wait a time period after baptizing lodestones to work with them. I generally name lodestones right as I am working with them.

I started this spell three days ago and when I was doing it tonight one of my cats jumped up and knocked the plate I'm using. The lodestones moved slilghtly and i'm not sure if this will affect the spell - put them back to roughtly where they were. Do I need to start the spell again or will it be OK to continue as it is.

Also, I am onto the fourth night of this spell and the candle (a LM lovers candle) is burning about one and a half inches further down in the centre than round the outside, is this normal?

Dear Cheshanna,

I would honestly tell you to seek a $10/ 10 minute readinq from a professional rootworker to see what is developinq from the love work your doinq. Wrote down about 3 questions, and consult to a rootdoctor or a worker about your siqns in your lovework, I'd also look into this paqe as well for candle wick divination. Hopefully, maybe you'll find other options of your work here too.

A few questions really,

I want to use a loadstone alongside prosperity oil (as the condition oil), would that clarify* as an oil of attraction?

Also, after cleansing and performing the cross, would you name a loadstone if it is used for financial purposes? I understand the purpose for a love spell (being the object of affection & the person wanting love), but don't recall reading about this for a prosperity spell.

Thanks.

I have a giant Altar Sized Lodestone for my Prosperity Altar. I have named him Big Bear, because he looks like a Big Bear. I talk to him often and he helps me out. I personally named my Lodestone, yes.

As far as Prosperity Oil "clarifying" as an Oil of Attraction...well the two are different, but Prosperity Oil would attract Prosperity. Just check out the labels for a quick visual "description" of the condition this oil represents!

Attraction Oil Page: --- http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-attraction.html
Prosperity Oil Page: --- http://www.luckymojo.com/oil-prosperity.html

I use Attraction Oil and Prosperity Oil together on my Altar (they are both on there now) as well as the AMAZING and underrated Lodestone Oil. This is my 1-2-3 Punch combo! Good luck!

I suppose the hands distributing money could be attraction. I'll use that advice in the future, looking at the labels I mean. I have some prosperity on the way from my re-seller, so I wanted to know if I could use it beyond candle burning.

I'd rather name my lodestone personally, seen as it is a living thing. I'll let my intuition guide me!

Thanks :)

p.s

Can one work more than one lodestone on a money altar? Could you have three all working on drawing money? I ask as I wouldn't want the stones to conflict one another in their work.

Thanks.

I have one big one that does all the work I need him to do for drawing prosperity, money, wealth, and abundance. I like focusing my intent and working with the "BIG GUY" I already have. You can work as many Lodestones as you'd like, but I am happy with my one big altar Lodestone...and he works for me just fine.

I don't know if this has been addressed in the forum or not but, if I wanted to garner more sexual attention from the opposite sex (no one in particular) could that be achieved using a single lodestone or would I have to work with them in pairs?

DrXTheRebirth --

Lodestones are used in pairs to draw sexual attention, love, marriage, and reconciliation.

Baptize one in your name, one in either the name (Mr. So-and-So, Miss Such-and-So) or the office (My New Hot Boyfriend, My Perfect Future Husband) of the one whom you wish to attract.

Okay, another annoying question, could one work a lodestone to attract 'steady work'? Anoint it with the steady work oil, in conjunction with prosperity & attraction?

Obviously to attract a steady job with a prosperous income.

Many thanks,

Of course. It is quite tradition to use a Lodestone to attract work, money, and things to you. Petitions are placed under the Lodestone of the things you want, its anointed with a bit of oil and fed to get it working for you.

Thank you cat! my love life had SUCKED for a long time. I paired my lodestones (28 of them) and i have an overflow of interested women! I had tried using paired lodestones for money drawing, no luck, they are definitely alive and need care and attention. Whatever your lodestones want to do, let em! I am about to purchase a large lodestone and hopefully me and my new pal will have plenty o luck! Thank you again cat, i will ignore the rest of the internet and listen to my elders.

Hi luckbewithme876,

If you are ordering the lodestone pair online you can make a note in the message area, on the same page when you view your cart, that you would like same sex lodestones. Best of luck! :)

Sashee78, you can use any alcohol based perfume to wash Lodestones. The most popular one by far is Hoyt' Cologne, a staple of conjure practice since the late 19th century. You can actually order it online by clicking the blue "Add To Cart" button right here in the Forum -- it will open up a shopping cart for you:

ikee jackson -- you need two lodestones to perform a love spell, and furthermore they must be matched stones. We sell matched pairs in several sizes. The size is not as important as that they draw to and attract one another and fit together well.

On the love atar at the Lucky Mojo Curio Co. you will see a pair of large lodestones that are so well matched that they seem to be one stone. In front of them, as "riders are a pair of magnetic scotty dogs.

1) When you're using lodestone in a money bag for example, can you carry said bag in something like a briefcase or bookbag?

2) Lodestone is magnetic so is the iron powder to feed them so they could wreck havoc if in the same pocket as a cell phone or credit card pouch. (that's my concern).

3) Also since lodestones are alive, when we work a conjure should we give the lodestone(s) a name of their own?

1) Sure, but most people carry them on the person.

2) You seem to not have ever seen a real old-style mojo bag such as those we make. The Lodestone grits used in conjure hands are very small.

3) An altar-sized lodestone may be named; those in a mojo are usually not unless the mojo is for love and the two stones were "trained" as "riders" on larger stones named for specific people.

Actually, no, no they won't. Modern cell phones are generally not effected by even powerful artificial magnets, and when they are, simply moving the magnet away restorers phone functionality. Credit cards are a wee bit more vulnerable, but a nature lodestone will not hurt either a phone or a credit card, they just don't put out a magnetic field that strong. I carry a mojo with a lodestone in it, and have for a good long time and my cell and debit card work fine, so put your mind at ease :)

Ok, so my husband works as a Freelance Entertainment Rigger-meaning he gets calls for work every week and depending on how busy the season is, and how many people are in town off tour- work can get scarily slow for our large family. This past week I put some Lucky Mojo products to work for us (road opener, wealthy way, and a few others) and already his next two weeks have filled up. Yay and thanks again for the fabulous and effective products!
My question is this: I am thinking of ordering a Lodestone to put to work to keep the money flow coming in. I was thinking of getting Money House Blessing oil to anoint it with as I really want to secure a happy, safe, prosperous home. Could I also sprinkle some of my Road Opener, Steady Work and Wealthy Way sachet powders around the stone as well, or should I buy those in oil form or use a different oil? He really needs the work to be steady and not slow. Any input on the types of oil to keep a happy, prosperous and protected home is much appreciated.

My next question is: I will be taking care of the Lodestone, but I am asking it to draw work for my husband-would this be alright? I assume so, considering I am working for a prosperous home, and I am the homemaker, you know?
Thanks!

Yes, you certainly could do that! You can also train your money to bring more money back to you after you spend it --

Of course it is. Thousands, maybe millions, of women have been doing rootwork on behalf of their families for many, many years.

Hello all!
I just purchased 2 large loadstones to place on my permanent love altar in our bedroom. I found an adorable ceramic heart shaped dish that says "love" on it, lots of really cute stuff out now with Valentine's Day coming :D These are my questions regarding this addition to my altar.

1. Do I have to wash the loadstones in whiskey prior to baptizing them? Is it common practice to do this type of "cleansing" so to speak, even though they have never been used before for any other type of work?
2. This may sound silly but I need to make sure I am doing it all perfectly, I plan to put a picture of us on the bottom of the dish, should the loadstones be directly on top of the picture or can I cover the picture with herbs, making it look like potpourri and nestle the loadstones on top of the herbs?
3. I want to write our names behind our picture, Do I cross my name over his name 3 times?

Also in keeping with my Valentine shopping, I found a perfect heart shaped bottle to make a sugar jar. The bottle will be placed on the altar at all times. Now, the bottle has a cork stopper not a metal lid, I plan on dripping some candle wax to seal it and burn candles IN FRONT of it on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, would this be ok? IF not, I suppose I can make a lid out of a metal tealight holder turned upside down and burn candles on top of it. I know, silly question again LOL!

Thanks for all your help!
Blessings.

1. Yes, you wash the lodestones with whiskey or Hoyt's Cologne. It feeds them and gets them ready to work for you.

2. If you're worried about someone seeing your picture beneath the lodestones, you can just "name" each lodestone for each person: you wash the lodestones and then tell it "I'm naming you for me" and tell the other one "I"m naming you for XXX".

3. You can cross your name over his name if you want to draw and control him in love. Then you can write in a circle around your names "love me love me love me".

With the cork bottle stop, you can burn a tea light on top of the cork. Dress the light with whatever love oil you're using, and place it on the cork. Done!

Good luck,

Thanks MaryBee!

It's not really worried about him seeing the picture, I just wanted to cover the picture with loving herbs and make a "bed" for the loadstones just to give it a little more "hoomph" I guess, I just was wondering if the loadstones HAD to be directly on top of the picture. I also have a paper towel with our mixed sexual fluids that I will snip a small piece that will go under the picture.

Great idea on the burning the tealight on top of the sweet jar! How did I not think of that? I guess I half thought of it! LOL!

Using a Lodestone for weight loss makes no sense to me. Lodestones draw things to you -- so it would be possible to use a lodestone to ADD weight to yourself, but unlikely that it would help you LOSE weight.

For discussions about weight loss spells, see the section of the forum on health and healing.

Yes, but it is more common to have one trained Lodestone to draw money and luck and all good things.

Can someone let me know; am I supposed to bury the lodestone when the lodestone has finished it's job? The book say that the lodestone has to be buried with the plate and papers in the back-yard, but I don't have a back yard. Can I clean it and reuse it for another wish. Thank you.

bkangiebo: Unfortunately you want information without telling us specifics. Which book are you speaking of that has these directions? What wish are you using the lodestone for?

I have a big lodestone that is my dedicated helper for drawing prosperity. I would never think of burying him until, perhaps, he stopped being magnetic and wanted to rest in my back-yard.

Also, this question has been discussed quite thoroughly within these very pages. Might I suggest you do a little bit of skimming through the entire informative thread to find the sections that speak directly of when and if you should re-use lodestones, whether for money & prosperity work, or for love work.

It's say to bury the lodestone with the pappers and plate in the back yard i dont have a back yard what can i do if it. I would like to know if i could clean the lodestone and reuse it, i would hate to bury it. It was use for a money wish. thank you :|

bkangiebo: That spell is a very specific and traditional one and I would have to say, after reading it over, that if your wish does come true from doing this I would thank the Lodestone and give it back to the earth by burying it as close to your home as possible. If this is impossible then do a divination and ask the Lodestone if it would like to continue working with you to draw more money. If the answer is yes then set it up with a nice spot or altar in your house and continue to work with it.

You can use divination, such as a pendulum.

bkangiebo: I agree with Devi Spring, use divination to come to the conclusion. I have built up a good relationship with my Lodestone and can "hear" him and can get immediate intuitive readings from him. I understand this will not work for everyone, so I do recommend trying a pendulum.

Hi all,

I have a question, it states that for drawing love one should use lodestones which are paired & I understand the reasoning behind it. However on the lodestone page it outlines a spell for drawing love, or even reconciliation, using a single lodestone - then looking at the attraction spell kit, it comes supplied with one lodestone & can be used for love?

If you want new love, not someone specific, is one lodestone okay? As I'm guessing it would be looking at those pages.

I'm looking to use two lodestones in a honey jar, what should I do to them before putting them in, the days before?

Hello markx

I guess you already have found two perfect matching loadstones for the honeyjar? I usually find that stage of the preparation quite important.

To increase the effect of the loadstones, you can start by cleansing them. You could use running cold water, spring water or holy water for the purpouse.
Then you can start feeding the loadstones with alchohol. I think whisky is the best. Put the loadstones in a small glass of whiskey an let them stay there for a few moments or if you prefer overnight. .
At the stage where you are going to charge the loadstones, naming them and state their purpouse you can chose if you want to take them out first, or let the stay inside the glass while charging them.

Good luck!
Miss Benedikte

For once my geekiness is going to come in handy.

You can revive the magnetism-- so it's not dead! Get a nice small rare earth magnet and find the S & N poles of both the lodestone and the rare earth magnet. Carefully touch the S of one magnet to the N of the other (rare earth magnets are quite strong so don't pinch your fingers or allow the magnets to slam into each other, you can wrap one or both in a bit of wool felt to protect them and your fingers) and touch the N of the first magnet to the S of the other, repeat (alternating) a few times for a few minutes and your lodestone will be alive again.

When I do this I always gently ask the spirit of the stone to return or wake-up. My setup for storing small lodestones when I'm not working with them isn't pretty but keeps them magnetized and happy (and I'm happy because they are safe and organized), I have two thin steel strips and keep them between the strips alternating the N and S poles (I put a small soapstone mark on all the N so I don't have to keep identifying which is which.)

I have looked on your site and I can't find lodestones. I see lodestone oil but no lodestones. Do you have a search engine where you can search for a product by name?

Thank You

i recently went to purchase a lodestone to help to attract abundance. The seller suggest buying two stones, I have read that two stones are for attracting love. is it still ok to use two stones for abundance. also can you use more than one lodestone at a time for different purposes.
thanks

I am currently doing some lodestone/honeyjar work. I have my baptised lodestones on pictures - one of me and one of my target. As I am moving the lodestones on the pictures closer it has occured to me that my pictures are starting to overlap and one will eventually be on top of the other when the lodestones are mated/touching. Which picture stays on top. I would imagine it would be mine, but need confirmation of that.

Hi amberlotus,

having your picture over his keep you ''on top'' of things. If you want the upper hand, keep your pic on top. Another way to work which would avoid this would be to fold each of your pictures into little paquets (with or without herbs) that can then be placed and covered entirely by the lodestones.

BTW, you have a beautiful signature quote - I Love!

Blessings.

Hi brownlady40,

please keep in mind that this forum is designed for help on how to use Lucky Mojo products rather than ''the seller'' products. And yes, a single stone is just fine to attract abundance. If you want to use two: who are we to stop you :) The more the merrier! I haven't yet found a ''only-one-stone-rule'' in any readings or teachings.

Some ideas to consider are if you have your own business, train both lodestones and then keep one at home for your abundance work and the second in your shop cash register. At home, you could also have two for abundance if one was doing active work (like a money drawing or stay with me spell) and the second was a large specimen-sized stone kept as an altar-piece. And those are just two ideas, you could no doubt come up with many more.

Blessings and best of luck.
