Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I am sure this topic has been beat to death, but when I search I can't find an answer. I searched on "crown petition vigil".
What should a petition paper for a vigil candle read and/or look like when you are burning the candle for someone else?
I have a really bright but lazy teen, that I'd like to encourage to do better. He never turns in homework, doesn't do the classwork. At the last minute when he is failing everything, he gets all A's and brings his overall grade to a "C". His attitude is "passing is passing, whether it's an A or a C"..I am so sick of this. So, I tried the sachet powders. He told me the next day he washed his bag because I spilled flour in it...too funny! Of course I can't get him to carry a mojo bag, so I am looking for the best way to word the petition for his increased success or to get rid of the laziness.
Thanks
Mamigrl

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Come up with a clear and concise statement of what you want to achieve - word it in the positive. So "MOTIVATION FOR SCHOOL SUCCESS" rather than "STOP BEING LAZY". Then cross his full name over that command. You can write the command 9 times and his name crossing it 9 times.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Thanks for the advice. I wasn't going to write "stop being lazy"...LOL, although it did cross my mind once. I went over this in my head again and again. I wanted the petition to be perfect, to cover all aspects of success in high school. I never thought of something so simple which encompasses it all. I had stuff like, love math, love to read, love to comprehend...love school..love soccer..
I will try that and post back later with the results.

I would either pick a goal that would cover alot of those more specific goals, or else work for the one that is your largest priority first. But picking a quality that would enhance his performance in many areas of his life would be the most efficient way to go.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hello everybody and thanks for this site, it helps alot
I burned a crown of success candle for my son (a little kid) because I want him to be successful in learning. The candle burned completely not fast not slow during the exact amount of time the candle was supposed to burn. I let the candle burned non stop and on the second ore third day, the candle all of the sudden burn a distinctive blue flame and blue smock for a few seconds, it was intensive too (maybe the glitter things that LM shop put in it?) It is the first time it happened to me. The candle glass burned clear BUT the flame created in the inside of the glass a figure!!! (my imagination??) is is white and it looks like a face.
Thanks again for reading my post and i would hope to get some information about it

Thank you Deacon Millett for answering my post
The image does not look frightening, it is clearly the face of an male adult, long nose, his mouth is close, big eyebrown (i first thought they were horns but they are right on top of the eyes). He does not look angry or bad or sad just serious.
thanks again for stopping by and answer by question

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Depends on the type of spell and type of candle you're working with.
You should move this discussion into a more appropriate area of the forum, though, as this section is not for spell-talk. You can ask your question in the candles section.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
The road opener candle may be "opening the way" for the success to start working! I would hold off on trying to interpret either candle until they are finished burning. Typically though, if you have a candle that starts off strong and then slows down it indicates that your initial attempts are met with success and then you will encounter some obstacles so backing it up with a road opener candle was a good idea.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi All,
I just relocated to another state. The first week I landed a job at my desired work place. The two week post hiring phase, actually took a month due to important documents being lost by the state. Got proactive and I took copies to the state personally, and immediately started training. At the completion of training there were no assignments available for me= no paycheck.
I've been thinking, and before I moved I was burning crown of success via MISC, and everything was falling into place exactly as I petitioned.
I wonder should I have misc set a crown of success light for my job situation or a road opener?
I'am applying to other jobs now too. Just in case, but I really like the company who hired me.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I would do a Road Opener followed by a Steady Work and Crown of Success for this situation. You might actually want to think about doing some additional Steady Work, like the spell kit, too.

Exactly, as you know Road opener clears away obstacles and opens the way to "Success" and "Steady Work." If you follow Devi's advice (which is excellent as always), with the Steady Work Spell Kit, you will have a mojo to keep close to you to maintain steady work or find steady work. The Crown of Success spell kit is just as important and an excellent addition in that it enhances your recongition in career sucess. I like adding King Solomon Wisdom to increase mental attributes and enhance decision making abilities and leadership qualities.
Good Luck!

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I agree with Devi Spring, and you should do some Steady work to help you get steady assignments for your job. I always recommend doing Road opener before doing any kind of work because it not only helps open the way, and makes opportunities available to you, but it also helps to get things moving forward in that direction. SO that is definitely something you may want to consider.
Furthermore, you may want to do some prosperity, and money drawing work on your job and just for yourself so that you are maintaining a steady income, and are just prosperous at your work. You can do this in addition for the crown of success candle.

Thank You All! Every single one of you, for the wonderful advice/education

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I recently listened to an old Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour show in which Cat instructs a caller to create an altar devoted to bringing the career success they desire into their life (I think it was a Halloween special from a while ago). However, I'm a bit hazy on the details, so I wondered if anyone else might tell me how I might go about doing this for myself.
I thought about creating a collage with a picture of myself stuck onto an image of the kind of circumstances I desire, then mounting this on cardboard and using it as the backdrop to the candle-working I intend to do. This would involve dressing a gold candle with crown of success oil. Then meditating or praying over it each morning. It would act as a daily focus point, to keep my mind on track towards creating the situation I desire, because I do feel as though I need stronger focus.
Is there a specific number of days I would have to burn the candle for, or could I do this every day until I reach my goal (or the candle burns down)? Is it a bad idea to burn this candle daily for a prolonged period of time?
Is there anything else I'm missing here?
Thanks for reading.

It is not bad at a all, but rather a very good idea, Frey.Frey wrote:

You can work the candles in series or runs if you like. Starting with white (new beginnings), then pink (attracting success) then orange road (opening up for the reception of success). Repeating it every new moon. Or you set a simple candle every monday morning before the start of the working week. You can also get and odd number of Crown Of Success glass encased virgil candles and have them burn on your altar each night.
If you work with prayers to God, Spirit or a Deity you can add a small candle of thanksgiving at the end of each working week. Do not forget to leave your work at the altar and avoid carrying thoughts of it during the day.
Good Luck!

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Brilliant, thanks Dr Johannes.
I like the idea of doing it in a series of runs, repeated every new moon. There is a new moon on Christmas Eve this year, which would be great for the added Winter Solstice symbolism. I think this would be a good time to start. Thanks.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Since the name you carry is that of a quite famous Swedish king from the old days, I suggest you might add a little something to him as well. Wearing his name AND "crown" at winter solstice is quite far from traditional southern conjure but not a bad idea and there are too many coincidenses not to mention it.
It can be done by dedicating one or two of the candles to him and offering them on top of the jar or on the side.

You could just get a Crown of Success vigil candle from Lucky Mojo, which would be already prepared with oils, herbs, and prayer. You could, of course, do more than one if you desire.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I could do, but I already have the oils and the candles, so I might as well just use them.
That's a good idea, I didn't think of that. From my understanding of Norse mythology, is this Swedish King Frey connected with the Norse God Freyr (the brother of Freyja)? Is there a traditional way of making offerings to him at this time of year? I'm doing my own research of course, but if you could give me any further pointers it would be much appreciated.Dr Johannes wrote:Since the name you carry is that of a quite famous Swedish king from the old days, I suggest you might add a little something to him as well. The Swedish king Frey IS the Norse God "Freyr". You are using an old Icelandic spelling while I am using Swedish contemporary spelling.Frey wrote:...

Many old kings, warriors, sorceresses, prophets etc. become "Gods" once they die. Traditional offerings are often unsuitable for modern urban society - such as sacrificing slaves or livestock, some are too sexual in nature for most peoples tastes and others are to be done in specific places out on the country side or at acient grave mounds. A simple one can be done by burning a few juniper branches, offer a handful of grains, some mead and a green candle or a green candle and you will be pretty well off. Offerings to Norse Gods is quite beyond the scope of this forum and Lucky Mojo does not offer such a product line yet. I do know that cat has a few good recipes up her sleeve, but until people ask for them she might not pull them out.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I have 4 tests for job positions that I had applied for the Government. Should I order 1 individual candle to do well on 4 tests or should I buy 1 candle for each test? Is there something else I can do other than purchasing a Crown of Success candle?
Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi everyone!
I'm interested in ordering a crown of success vigil candle but I am really having trouble with writing my petition. Long story short, I just started this new job at at the Ritz Carlton as a cocktail server. I've never done this type of serving before and I'm kind of nervous. Also this job is a seasonal position with the potential to move into permanent employment. I was wondering what I should put on my petition to help me do well in my new position and also to secure permanent employment with the company.

Be sure to check out the thread on Petition Papers and Name Papers Questions and Answers for some insight on how to write your petition. Focus on being successful and an asset for the hotel to place you in a permanent position.

The petition could read "I am successful in my job. Managers, customers, and other employees love me. I easily move into a permanent position." I believe putting things in the present tense is more effective.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi all,
I have an exam on Monday. I received crown of sucess vigil candle today. This is my first Vigil candle
the label on the candle suggest to burn it while taking the test..I can't leave the house with a burning candle. What are other options I have? Can I burn it the day before the exam or while studying and then put the flame out and relight it when I study ?

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hello, furrora ,
Yes, yo ucan do that.
BUT it would be better to have it burning durng the test. Anyway that you can put this candle in the bath tub or the shower? That's what I do when a candle has to remain burned. It's safer there.
Hope this helps

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I'm looking to increase success overall in my life (financially, love, school) and was wondering if Crown of Success would be the appropriate candle to have burned (at MISC alter)? Can one candle cover all areas or would I have to have separate candles for each?
Things are going pretty ok in my life, I recently went back to school after 20 years, I know I'm on the right path & happy of the direction my life is taking but I feel I need an extra OOMPH to keep the momentum going. My finances could use a boost & love life is neutral. Being Spring time I feel in need of a fresh run of success in general...if that makes sense. So would crown of success be a good choice? Or should I look at another? Lodestone or Attraction vigil maybe to attract all the right situations?
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Hello GypsyAnn,
I am glad to hear things are going well for you! For the candle you can use it cover all those areas as one candle or use a different candle for each area of life you are wanting to affect. The choice is up to you. Do what you think feels best. You can also have more set if you decide you need more work done! It sounds to me like Crown of Success is a good choice for what you are talking about !
Peace~

Thank you natstein! That's what I was going to do, one candle for general life success but I wanted to double check first if that would be appropriate. I appreciate the quick response!
Thanks Again!

Have anyone had any success in passing tests and exams with the crown of success?

Hello, thawayiwasmade30 ,
Yes, there's been many success stories.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
I'm considering using a Crown of Success candle on my daughter, but I'm not 100% certain if more is needed... Well, I'm sure more is needed I'm just not certain what more..
1. I want her to be successful in school. She's being "placed" into the 5th grade next year and I want the teachers and my daughter to see that she deserves to be in 5th grade. I had a meeting with her teacher a few weeks ago and she was impressed by how much my daughter has improved in all of her subjects. It's crazy because she has good grades, so why does she need to be "placed" rather than just letting her pass? I've compared all of the scores and she's improved dramatically, she's even one of the few to score highest on some of the test..I don't understand it, but I want my daughter to feel confident about herself and her school work. I want her to continue to improve in school. She has ADD and is unfortunately on medication for it. It's working, but she's not happy about being put on medicine.
2. Dancing... She is part of a dance performance team and she loves it. She's been dancing for 7 years now and has been on the team for 5 years. This was her first year doing a solo. Again, the instructors commented on her improvement and they were surprised by it, but then it seemed that once she heard their compliments she just started freaking out and has gone back to turning the wrong direction or forgetting moves when she dances with the whole team. She's performed her solo a handful of times and spent months learning the choreography for it, but she doesn't have the confidence to do it successfully in front of a crowd. She did it when my brother had the rare chance to come and watch her dance, and she forgot some of the moves. She blamed it on nervousness. She did it again this past weekend for the Showcase the studio holds mid-year and she forgot some moves again, walked off the stage afterwards and didn't want to continue dancing the rest of the dances she was in (she did anyways, but was emotional about being on stage.)
3. She gets bullied alot by this girl that used to be her best friend. I've gone to the parent about her, I've gone to the school and I can't do anything about it. Whenever I tell my daughter to ignore the girl, she freaks out and says that she can't because the girl starts telling others to not play with her and she ignores her and kicks her and all this other stuff. She even walked up to my daughter a couple of weeks ago and said that she (the girl) had too many friends and she decided that she needed to get rid of some and after alot of thinking she has decided that the person that she wants to get rid of the most is my daughter. It kills me because I babysit her one day out of the week because her mom has no one else to help her with her kid. Well she eats all my food, plays and makes a disaster in my daughters room and then the next day is a bitch to her. I keep telling my daughter that she's not worth it, but she just tells me that the girl probably was having a bad day and didn't have anyone else to take it out on. This has been going on for three months. One of my daughters biggest problems is that she refuses to see the truth about people, she just believes that everyone loves her and everyone is this amazing person and she finds the good in everything. I know that clarity would probably help her see the truth behind this, but I don't want to ruin who she is by unveiling how evil some people truly can be.
I wanted to use Crown of Success to help her be successful with school, dance and making better friends, but I don't think that it will work like that. At least not all in one candle. Do you have any suggestions?
My daughter lost her father when she was 5 years old, she was traumatized over it because he was murdered in cold blood. She's still not over it, constantly thinks and speaks about him at random and it drives me crazy because yes, I was in love with him, he was my fiancee, but he was narcissist, a cheater and deadbeat father. One of the women that he cheated on me with, ended up being the death of him because her ex murdered him. My daughter lost her father and the whole side of his family in one instant. His family reaches out once every six months and then takes her on $400 shopping sprees to make up for time lost. I hate it. I think that's one of the reasons that she's not very confident in herself and wants/needs everyone to like and love her.
I don't know what to do. Please help. I don't want to alter my daughters personality, but I want to help her be more confident and I want her to succeed in dance and school. I want her to be happy. I am SO sorry for the length of this post, I didn't intend on it being so long, but once I started it just all kind of tumbled out. I'm sorry. Thank you for any guidance you can give me.

I'm so sorry for what your daughter is having to endure. Crown of Success work sounds like one good avenue to take, but your right. There is a lot going on and a few different ways to approach them. Here are a few suggestions:
You may also be interested in Crucible of Courage - http://www.luckymojo.com/crucibleofcourage.html to help her feel more confidant.
Maybe the sachet powder to dust her shoes so she can "walk with courage" and "stand her ground".
and King Solomon's Wisdom - http://www.luckymojo.com/kingsolomonwisdom.html to help her in her school work and concentrating.
Perhaps the oil to anoint her head or the sachet powder for dusting her school supplies and books.
Also Banishing - http://www.luckymojo.com/banishing.html to help rid her of her bully, though this would mean you would need to stop babysitting her.
The sachet powder here might come in handy for the last time you babysit her to dust her tracks as she leaves and the oil for a candle working against all her bullies.
Just a few ideas, I hope these were what you were looking for! Good luck!

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Curiouslilthing,
I think you are on point with the Crown of Success product line. A vigil candle would be great on a petition written for her. Maybe you could then sneak that same petition in the insole of her shoe so she could carry it with her. You could also use a few drops of the Crown of Success oil in her conditioner or other hair products. I would also use Crucible of Courage to help give her the boost of confidence she needs when dealing with her bully/friend.
I also feel like you are the rock of stability in her life and I hope you do work on yourself as well to keep that fire going. Strength and power, you got it momma! I would try to get her into some counseling as soon as possible if she hasn't already. I've seen many cases to where just having someone to talk to that is a professional and not family or friend can really provide guidance and relief. I'm sure it will help with the confidence as well. She may not want to go to a counselor at first but being the mom, I think you should give it a good time frame work it out. With it being a couple of years now, trauma can resurface again and again so upkeep with mental health is a must at such a young age. Especially with so much stress in her life.
Side note - I'm ADD and finding the right medication is a must. I had to try a few to find the right one for me. It was a game changer once I found it!

RevJames, thank you for your suggestions! I'll get to working on them right away!
Terra_rising, thank you for your reply and kind words! She has been to counseling and on occasion still goes. So far this medication has worked really well for her, but I think it makes her feel different that she takes medication. I had to sit down and speak with her the other day because she refused to take it, so I told her there was nothing wrong with it and that I take meds (I'm epileptic) and that my parents have to take meds too for different things. It helped her a bit, but you can see that she's bothered by it. I'm glad you were able to find the medication that worked for you! Thank you again for your comment

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi CuriouslilThing,
You got some good advice here and I haven't much to add beyond my best wishes to you as you work hoodoo into your care for your daughter. While never a substitute for proper medical care (and I am glad you are getting her the help and attention she needs), magic can help support that work and also clear away any obstacles to making her life easier.
If either one of you should feel overwhelmed or anxious throughout your journey, you can work a mix of Tranquility and Healing, to calm your energy and support your respective healing processes. You would benefit as much as she does because caregiving is its own struggle at times, and giving yourself the best spiritual boost you can will help you both in the long run.

I wish you both the very best of luck, and look forward to hearing about all of her successes!

I would add healing and blessing oil to the mixture for your daughter and yourself. You can also pray to Saint Dymphna who is a patron saint for those with mental illness
Saint link: http://www.luckymojo.com/candle-saint-dymphna.html
You can burn the candle yourself or have the church set it for you.

3 candles for MISC
Hello everyone! I'm sure this has been asked before but just want to make sure I chose the most effective candles for my situation. As I have read through this forum already.
I am in the middle of interviewing for a new job and need some clarity on which candles to choose so that I don't get consumed by my anxiety and that . this process leads me to getting this job.
After a very disappointing year at my current job I have been asking the Universe for clarity on what my next steps should be in my life & career. When I first saw this particular job post I was hesitant to apply, but it kept popping up so I decided to apply. Once I did they responded really quickly and have asked me to submit interview questions two different times and the second as a video interview.
After researching more about this company I am realizing that it is a lot more in alignment with my life's purpose and it would completely change my life and those around me for the better. Not only do I need some patience, but I am getting really anxious as they haven't responded even to just say they have received my materials. Last time they responded they said they are in the early stages still but to definitely submit my materials by end of last week, which I did.
So which candles should I order for the three candle vigil ? Crown of success? Road Opener? Steady Work? Fast Luck?
Any feedback would be truly helpful. Thank you.

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Hi boheemeun,
Congratulations on this opportunity! How exciting!
I definitely think you're in the right place, as a Crown of Success Vigil Candle will be a great support for your goal of getting this job. Steady Work Vigil Candles are great for the specific purpose of getting a new job and keeping it, so I think that's a great addition, and Fast Luck will definitely help give you an edge.
I think you've already picked a great trio, and now just need to trust your instincts and make it happen! Road Opener is great, too, but I think if you're already in the interview process that Fast Luck will be the most helpful third candle for your trio.
You can order candle services from the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church here:

Best of luck!

Re: Crown of Success Vigil Candle Questions and Answers
Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.
If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.
Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.
