You don't have to use all forms of a product, but it is very powerful if you do-- like adding layers to the work. This is especially truth if you want to build up something, like protection or strength. And like Miss Devi said, if you can get a John the Conqueror root (or similar root or curio) all the better!

Hello,
I have a really bad toothache and called to make a dentist appointment for sometime during christmas break when i will be home from college but they are booked the whole time i will be home and the soonest opening they have I will already be gone back to school. They are the only dentist who accept my insurance what can I do to make them accomodate me sometime during the timeframe i need? They said the are busy during the holidays.

Hi there,

Just picked up on this thread. I too have suffered from depression for many years and struggled with motivation, energy and feelings of utter despair. Recently I have gone back on the anti-depressants which have helped to lift the black cloud somewhat but, in addition to this I have been using John the Conqueror products with great results. Each morning I annoint my crown with JTC oil asking for strength and determination. When I feel the need I also burn an engraved purple taper candle, dress it with JTC oil and place my petition under the candle or dish. I have not worked with St.Dymphna but I regularly burn novena candles to St.Michael, he makes me feel incredibly safe & protected. I'm also planning to work with Crucible of Courage products (just waiting from my order) which I'm going to add to the JTC to help overcome the fears which are holding me back in finding a better job. I hope this helps a little as I really do know what you're going through, keep strong! x

When suffering from depression and other symptoms it is very useful to consider using cleansing baths, cleansing the home and adding protection to the living quaters in addition to the strenghtening products above.

hello

i have some questions about overcoming mental bad habits like doubts in case of courage and job-doing-competence in relation with coworkers.

I have a good friend which is interested in yoga, meditation and spirituality but not able to hold a job over a few weeks and he have not long good relationships to the coworker. he have tried a lot of jobs and he is still very young and actually a good person-so i have told him he can use some magic to overcome the bad side of his habits-i mean his habits to give up, to quiet and to escape some problems in company which comes to him sometimes.

he have a few trauma about mobbing in the school, so he is scared about new mobbing in jobs and he escapes very soon every job.

my idea was to help him, but im not completely sure in this case - i would recommended that he make a break up spell with a bottle with his own negative part of his person-i mean this part of his person which disturbing him again and again and bind him backwards to remember the history of mobbing...and then a positive spell to built a strong and good personality to looking forward.

have anyone here some ideas to do that on a good and effective way?

Hi pimkili,

the products can either be used in a mojo or in a candle spell.

In the case of a product line such as Crown of Success, your friend could annoint his head with the oil daily, take the baths once a week, and use the sachet powder in his shoe and/or body powder: the work would be on-going.

For a case like this, a mojo is usually good for about a year and after that the maker should replace the soft herbs, keep what's still in good shape, and breathe life back into the toby to keep it working optimum for the client. Ideally, combining a mojo with daily product work as described above, is a potent manner of working.

For a candle spell, see how the results manifest and repeat if divination/manifestation deems it necessary. Alternatively, you could ask MISC to set a Crown of Success candle and use master root and master of the woods in the herbs they use to dress the Vigil light.

Pimkili, the Cast Off Evil would also make a good cleansing bath at the beginning of the work. Baths of all the products named above could also be used as part of the work. Spiritual bathing in the hoodoo tradition is something of an art. Lucky Mojo has a wonderful page on how to do it:

Hello, I am currently suffering with a very nasty but sticky situation. I went to a dentist about two years ago for teeth problems I was having, and honestly; he made my teeth worse! Now I have two teeth on the lower left bottom of my mouth that another dentists office told me they HAVE to pull out because the teeth are dead and have an infection, and have I have crowns that just keep popping out. They've popped out so much that I'm actually missing a crown, and due to his botch up jb I developed a cavity that has caused my tooth to chip. Now these last two teeth are right next to each other on my upper right side of my mouth, so if you can imagine; I have the damndest time eating. I mean I can't chew on my left side AT ALL, and now I can barely chew on my right side because I'm missing a crown, and I have a tooth that just keeps chipping away. The insurance company has already denied me of getting a bridge and etc, which is why I need help because I'm tired of not being able to eat properly. Please someone tell me, is there Saints for healing and any spells I can try. I'm constantly in pain, and I'm desperate to get these crowns/bridge work/ or whatever approved from my insurance company. Please help!

Hi-Quick question about my son and stuttering. He is eleven, very bright, gifted actually, yet has a pronounced stutter. Now I am the type when faced with something I learn all I can about it, so we have taken him to speech therapy, (which didn’t help much, but taught us some tricks) I have learned a lot about reasons for stuttering, how to address emotional/energetic blocks, but nothing is really providing a real breakthrough. My son is only mildly frustrated by this-but he does want it to clear up. I was thinking about getting the LuckyMojo fixed, glass vigil candle and some healing sachet powder to dust him with…any other suggestions? I accept him as he is, obviously, but he would like some help.

I know that most rootworkers use Chuparrosa for love, but I was encouraged by a curandera to use it for people needed some self esteem boosting. For my daughter who is gifted and talented, I sprinkle it on her pillow and rub it in before putting on her pillow cases. I put my sachet powders in wide hole salt shakers. It makes it easier to cover a large area. You can even mix powders like those Conjure Man Ali suggested. Anyway - I find that the energies from the powders help fine tune my daughter's aura so she can handle stress and frustration at school. She sometimes even asks if I will "power up her pillows" during state wide testing.

I understood the question cleary before i perticipated. Its good you stated that in your culture because cultures differ.
In african these magical powers can never be given to someone just like that. they are regarded dengerous and realy they are if misused people are not all the same. there are fast learners and slow learners and for that case they are only performed by only designated proffessionals.

But like it is always said that "work and you will discover", i hope i just learned something new.

But how about if they fail to perform it the wright way doesnt it harm?

Ah, Dr. Jumba -- this is the same question one might ask of "do it yourself" carpentry --

What if a man, to save some money, decides to nail down the loose roofing of his house, so he buys a ladder and a hammer and some nails and but he doesn't know how to properly situate the ladder and he doesn't know how far he can reach with his hammer arm, and so he gets up on an unsteady ladder and reaches too far to drive the nail, and the ladder tips, and he falls to the ground?

His hospital bill may be bigger than the price he would have paid a professional carpenter to do the work!

So it goes.

There are many reasons that our culture developed as it did, and many of them have to do with the unique confluence of the USA rural delivery postal system, the development of free public schooling and near-universal literacy, the development of the catalogue industry (taking advantage of the rural postal system and the ability to read a catalogue) and the movement of the Black population northward and westward through the United States and away from the wild plants that could be hand-harvested in the South, and therefore had to be mailed to the North.

By the 1920s, these influences had combined to create, a vibrant mail order hoodoo supplies industry (accompanied by an equally vibrant mail order African American cosmetics and hair care industry) -- commonly referred to as "the order houses." Through these "order houses," the dissemination of conjure moved rapidly into the hands of small-time professionals, semi-professionals, amateurs, hobbyists, and dabblers.

This forum is, almost 100 years later, the result of these social influences -- as is, of course, my company.

If the history of the "do it yourself" trend in African American magical culture interests you, check out this article, from 1925, on the mail-order selling of hoodoo supplies. It is one of a number of such articles in my collection, and, brief though it is, it demonstrates the American perspective on "helping yourself" (that is, doing your own rootwork). Now, as for the "weekend carpenter" of a rootworker who falls from the metaphorical ladder? -- Well, if he's smart, he will hire a professional rootworker next time, or get some training from a teacher before he tries the work again. But if he's lucky and his head is not cracked open, he may figure it all out, after a few tries, and after talking to a friend or two, and then he may be able to do his own spiritual roof repairs.

Magic is not "dangerous" or to be used only as a last resort. Not everyone is gifted in every type of work, but most people can at least do some simple spells to help themselves and their loved ones.

There is a say in South Africa that says if translated in English, "Walk and see and when you come back tell a story of what you have seen". it was new to me that there is spell that anyone can do for himself without supervision of a professional spells caster.

Then I said my side of the story from back where I am from and how it works there.
But this is good in fact I will it sometimes.

Your cultural paradigm, in which it is the norm to hire a spell-caster, has also survived within Black American culture, alongside the do-it-yourself paradigm -- and in fact, to the extent that it HAS survived, the "hire a spell-caster" paradigm serves to distinguish Black American magical culture from White American magical culture.

For instance, in White American magical culture, one will often hear people say, "You must do ALL spells for yourself, no one should do them for you, because charging money for casting spells is immoral!"

But one would almost never that paradigm within the USA Black community.

So, like most of America, in this we are of mixed beliefs and practices.

So I have been asked randomly to model in a photo shoot, it was a surprise and totally unexpected, and I'm going to be doing a photo shoot this spring, I'm so excited!

I really want to be noticed by the people who my pictures will be sent to (they are big in the fashion industry) and look my best because it could help me with my long time dream of becoming model.

I was wondering what products I could use to help me to look my best during the photo shoots and to get noticed because there is other models to! Of course looking nice, taking care of myself and all of that counts but I need help to enhance it !

I joined a 12 step for my compulsive overeating and I've lost 75 lbs in the last year. I still struggle, but I recommend whatever work you do, to start out the morning asking for help from whomever - deities, saints, ancestors - before eating. How could one adapt the 'look me over spell' to include a commanding/authoritative presence also?

As I saw you use a red figure candle of the correct sex, lodestone etc... I'm looking for a spell to increase my magnetism and to become more powerful - social leader, as Cat put it is a good expression to use. I want to place an order as soon as possible, I considered bewitching but then look me over sounds more appropriate.

So back to my original question, how could I add commanding to that spell? Or should I do two separate spells?

Hi Sol,

to adapt the spell as you describe, yes you could combine the ''Look Me Over'' products with ''Commanding'' and/or ''Master'' products (the incense, bath crystals and oils).

When you speak, describing yourself as you dress the candle, make sure to be specific about how you want your presence to be expressed and perceived.

Just to add more possibilities to the mix, I always mix a nature formula (Queen Elizabeth root mainly since I am a woman but John the Conqueror also if I am feeling the need for it), with my attraction work to enhance that personal magnetism. Look me over +QE or JC + Master could be pretty awesome too.

You could do the spell and then annoint yourself with the oils so when people "look you over" and pick up on that sense of authority.

The products you buy will take no effect unless you start a pathway, id suggest you develope personal power. Once you get all this attention, you wont know how to react to it, because it will not be true! It will be terribly overwhelming.
