Hello from Dawsonville, GA

Hello, all!

My name is Robert, I am 36 years old and I live in the small town of Dawsonville, GA....technically. I actually live a couple miles outside of Dahlonega, GA (the site of the first major US Gold Rush), but they give us a Dawsonville address for some reason.

In the last few months I have began to study Hoodoo, and it really seems to hit home with me, unlike any other spiritual or magical practice has. I was raised in the Pentecostal church, but discovered witchcraft when I was 18 and have been practicing magic in different forms since. I used to hold real animosity toward Christianity, but have really softened toward it in the last few years and have even began to incorporate it into my magical practices. This has really given me a feeling of freedom as I found out the negativity and animosity I was holding in myself was what kept me from reaching my potential in my spiritual and magical life.

I am so grateful to Cat Yronwode, especially for her "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice" online book, and to all the others who have contributed to the Forum. It has been a godsend. I made my first order to Lucky Mojo and I am excited to receive it and begin using these wonderful products.
