SugarMagnolia, the effectiveness of any work depends on the skill of the practitioner, the realm of possibility, unknown factors, and ultimately God's will. It's kind of rude to come on a forum that is run by a company that makes magical products, Lucky Mojo Curio Company, and flatly state that magic won't work in this case. People use magic for all sorts of situations.

Based on this post and a post on another topic, it appears that you wish to put a lot of restrictions on yourself and others as to what is an acceptable use of magic. We don't do that here. We may suggest that a person should try something different, such as Cut and Clear instead of Reconciliation, but ultimately it is between the practitioner and God. No "karma" or "three-fold law of return" in the hoodoo tradition.

My teeth’s are in pretty good condition just had my feelings sessions over. First they take x-rays to know the root of disease and this has to be done by all patients. They did a pretty good job as my old NHS dentist had ever done.

You can work a mojo and dress it with the oil to keep the spell with you. You can of course dress yourself with the oils. Some people carry the root as a pocket piece and anoint it as they pray their intention for magnetism in your case. In some cases, a person will start a full spell to get work going.

There isn't an equivalent to sweet pea oil. Sweet pea oil is an essential oil not a mixture of. So use sweet pea oil for this spell as that is what it calls for. Lucky mojo sells the oil so there is no need for a substitution.

I know lodestones are our traditional go to magnet but I have read were some people have used actual magnets in place of the lodestone with good results.

a couple of the Conjures I've spoken to prefer magnets to lodestones, so if you feel moved to use one, I don't see why you couldn't. (just make sure u keep it away from your credit cards and bank cards if they're still the ''swipe'' models!). Other more experienced workers may be able to give you more historical context on the use of one versus the other.

I have been working on building a relationship between myself and the spirit of the Master Root. Hello, everyone! Per Mama Micki's advice, I am posting to ask for forum members' experience and suggestions on the items I recently received from LM. I am so excited to start using them, but I find myself hesitating on where/how I should start.

Right now, I have:

1 Reconciliation Oil

1 Attraction Oil
1 Money Drawing Oil
12 4" Altar Candles, Pink
3 4" Altar Candle, Green

I personally want to stick to something simple, since I am just starting off. I think the self-esteem boost from doing something relatively uncomplicated will do wonders for my confidence in my work.

I was so sure I'd know what to do with these items once they arrived, but now I'm doubting myself. I may be inexperienced, but I know doubt is probably one of the worst places to start my work with. I think I just need a little push towards the right direction. So, any ideas, anyone? Would love to hear your suggestions on what someone new to this kind of work, like myself, could do with these items. Any experiences, insight, ravings, rants-- hit me with anything you've got. I would love to hear your experiences.

In addition to the actual work, what kind of steps do you take to prepare, if any? Or do you simply dive into it? Do you use the oils as a personal scent? If so, do you just put it on yourself in the morning, like any cologne/perfume? Does the lack of "focusing" take away from its effect?

And something I learned the hard way: Don't jump into a big project with both feet, or you'll leave out crucial steps. Besides, many effective old-timey tricks are simple, requiring nothing more than a few commonly available ingredients and a word of prayer.

Thanks for the advice, ladies. I've read all of those pages (and more!). I guess you can say I'm hungry for information on this. I finally delved into the items. I anointed myself with 1) Attraction Oil (Over my heart, on my fingers and arms); 2) Follow Me Boy (just a dab on my neck); and 3) Crown of Success (head) this morning. Last night, I dabbed King Solomon's Wisdom on my temples before going to bed, where I usually do most of my thinking. I think I will be modifying my morning ritual over the next few days. I would do probably do well in sticking to maybe just one or two oils.

I also did a simple candle ritual this morning, which I'll be posting in the appropriate sub-section. Again, I'm sticking to the simple stuff. I agree with you, Miss Michaele. I don't want to dive into a big project that will only overwhelm me. Do you happen to have examples of these "old-timey tricks"? I'm still rifling through the forum, but it's slow work when the keywords are such general terms. Gotta say, I'm lovin' every moment of this, though. There's definitely a sense of "finding magic" in the air today. =)

old-time tricks are usually the simplest but often the most tried and true. They're the tricks like making sure you buy a new broom, new salt and a fresh loaf of bread when you move into a new house. Like placing one of your hairs in the hat-band or cap-band at the forehead of a beloved one's hat or cap to keep him thinking of you. Like stirring a cup of sugar with a licorice stick while telling your children to behave and listen to you before baking that sugar into cookies. They're the tricks you'll learn by talking to people.

Alongside the amazing advice you've already been given, consider just a daily anointing of your head with Crown of Success and King Solomon Wisdom oils as suggested on the information page for King Solomon Wisdom products. Can one use sweet pea flowers in place of the oil? i happen to grow sweet pea flowers in a pot indoors during the winter and also outside during the warmer weather.

Also, i happen to have a fig tree, how would one use a fig tree root for the purpose of drawing friends? Do i carry the root? Please advise.

I too am praying for some good friends and i love the idea of using the rue and deer's tongue for this work, makes perfect sense.

Hi,

I have a sugar, processed food and junk food addiction. My doctor is telling me to stay off them because I am killing my health and immune system and Chi.

The thing is, around this time of the month when my period is about to come, I have these cravings and I don't feel full at all. I have tried to eat fresh food, but at the end of the day, I would go to the $.99 store and ended up buying and eating 3 chow mein instant noodles and sometimes more. Last time, I bought a gallon of Cookie and Cream ice-cream out of depression and finished it off in less than a day. And this is quite common for me. My butt and waistline has expanded...

I have used Cast Off Evil products for lesser "evils" and have been successful. Just know that you may need to stay with the work for a while, as I found in my personal case, I had to stick with it and not expect the "quick fix" or "immediate solution." The hold on me by my "evils" was pretty strong. I stuck with it and was successful. That being said, I mainly used the Cast Off Evil Vigil Candle and Oil, along with other 4" "back-up" candles dressed with the oil for a few weeks after. I did not use the spell kit. given that your hormonal fluctuations seem to be a major component of your drive to over-eat, working with your doctor to help regulate your hormones may also be a helpful avenue for you to investigate alongside the Cast Off Evil suggested above. Well, the Sweet Pea oil is a synthetic fragrance so some say flowers would be the better choice. I have worked with both with good results.
There is a nice spell using fig tree in cats book Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic. Look it up.

To my knowledge Lucky Mojo uses no pesticides but Miss Cat will be able to confirm or deny that with accuracy for you.

If bingeing is a standard practice for you, also consider seeking the help of a group where you can talk about and share your feelings on the road to recover, like Overeaters Anonymous which has helped many thousands of people. Hi,

I want to do a working for self-empowerment and would like some guidance.

I plan on doing a cleanse first with hyssop because I'm really connected to Psalm 51 then anointing myself with an oil blend maybe a personal talisman too. I've been thinking of using a blend of Attraction, Crucible of Courage and Queen Elizabeth oil, maybe Crown of Success or Good Luck oil? I also thought about Protection or Van Van to keep away negative influences/thoughts. I don't want to use more than 4 maybe 5 at the most.

Maybe Protection or Van Van incense powders instead?

to select the oils or powders best suited to empowering yourself, look at what qualities you most want to bring out in yourself and then pick oils aligned with those. Out of the oils you've mentioned, an excellent combo would be Van Van, Crown of Success and Queen Elizabeth oil since that covers qualities feminine, lucky and successfull. The Van Van in the formula would also make it a great blend to anoint a personal talisman with.

Thank you aura, I've never heard of a Gau prayer box before so I'm going to do some research on it.

I think I will do an oil blend of Crown of Success, Crucible of Courage, Queen Elizabeth and Van Van. Someone posted in another thread that:

Crucible of Courage is usually employed as an adjunct to other oils when the person is shy, afraid to shine, afraid of failure, hanging back from challenges, and in need of some backbone.

and I think I can benefit from those qualities.

I have a few more questions, if you can answer them?

Is there a particular reason I shouldn't use Attraction oil or is it better to put it aside for something more specific?

I planned to mix the oil with a carrier oil so I can use some on my skin after my showers. I know Crown of Success normally goes on the head should I keep it out of the carrier oil blend?

I can't decide which day of the week would be best, Sunday or Monday, maybe even Friday. Do you have a suggestion?

I would work with Sunday. If you want to dilute the Lucky Mojo oils, which are already skin-safe and in a carrier oil, use any oil that goes with your intention.

like you suggested, I'd keep attraction out of the blend in favour of something more specific. For the Crown of Success, although you're right that it's traditional to anoint the head, there's no reason that you should keep it out of your combination as it also works well for dressing the body.

For the day of the week, Sunday is a great day to work for empowerement. Mondays are good for healing. Friday is nice for self-love. Depending on what you need more any given week, switch the day to suit your mood. Any day is a good day to work if the work needs doing.

You don't necessarily need more carrier oil, as Lucky Mojo Oils are already formulated in a carrier oil, but adding more oil is fine. You can also dilute them by blending them with your bath wash or with lotion if you wish. See this thread:

Hey since I got such wonderful advice from a question I posted I would like sone nore feedback please. After I enter back into school, I would like to enter a

sorority that I have always wanted to cross. It is a black divine nine sorority if son are familiar, so they are definitely very into the spiritual. because I have a son gaining entry will be much harder and plus I dont have the credentials nor the grades to make.it, due to me failing when I got pregnant. Most sororities will not let you join if you do not have the proper grades.It is not only their policy but it is most of the time university policy. Also, you might want to see the sororities policy on members having children. I know in my cousin's sorority as soon as you have a kid you are asked to become an alumi which is not really an active member in sorority. Its about keeping up the reputation of the sorority.

I would suggest constructing a honey jar or getting an influence honey jar and placing any one important into the honey jar.

Hi all,

I've been recently (well, again) experiencing an issue I often run into...

Not to toot my own horn, but I like to consider myself a very nice, caring, compassionate, empathic person. Since I'm generally positive, I find it fairly easy to make friends, though not always close or long-lasting friends (depending). I'm generally comfortable and confident with myself, and this tends to show pretty well.

But, I have noticed that it seems as if a lot of people aren't exactly convinced that I'm genuine. (I suspect, in particular, when I offer to do things that seem "out of the ordinary," people don't seem to take me seriously -- e.g. If I offer to take them to a clinic because they're too sick to drive, or that I'd be willing to keep a friend company at 2 am because she's sitting alone, crying, in her car at some random parking lot.) I care deeply and somewhat easily about people, and I can bond quickly with others because I'm motivated to do so. I love sharing, and I love having "human moments." Despite what I consider sincere efforts toward making long-lasting friends, maintaining good (and healthy!) friendships, etc. I sometimes find myself having great difficulty.

I often find there's a big disparity between what I do for others (and what I'm willing to do) in comparison to what others do for me (or what they're willing to do). I've also been "burned" in odd ways, such as when certain individuals say they don't trust me because I don't self-disclose super easily (I'm actually, in a few significant ways, introverted, and I have an appreciation for privacy and discretion.), whereas they blabbermouth a lot of things to me.

Again, I don't want to sound full of myself, but I'd like to do some work so that I can have friends (even attract potential lovers) that are able and willing to reciprocate the feelings I have and deeds I do for others. It'd be nice if I could also spread that around to my current friends and social circles, too. But, I'd really like to minimize the nights where I feel alone, despite my apparent popularity . . .

I think we have all been there a time or two. My suggestion would be to buy a Cut and Clear spell kit to rid yourself of ties to those friends that bring you down and even just clear out that old energy and hurt. The second component of the spell attracts friends to you with the qualities you desire. It's beautiful work and helps you zero in and attract people with qualities that are really important to you and move past the relationships that aren't working.

Well, I don't necessarily want to cut off/out people or relationships, since they're not bad per se -- I don't expect anyone to be or act exactly like me. But, I do suspect Cut & Clear may help for some things from my past, as well as with that old energy/hurt. So thank you for that suggestion.

I would like some help on another component, though -- what could I do to help others see or believe that I'm willing to give the help I offer? I feel like I sometimes get treated with suspicion, or at least skepticism . . . I'd like people to know I genuinely care about others & that I'm willing to do more than they realize or expect.

OMG I have an UPDATE!! I found a saint named SAINT APPOLLONIA who pretty much is the Saint of Dentistry since her teeth were torn out. There is very little info on her out there but I'm gonna try petitioning her to see what happens. Hope others suffering with teeth issues see's this

1. Confidence goes A LONG way. Fake it til you make it.

2. The above are excellent recommendations. But if you want to look older consider cutting your hair. Im not saying get your hair like justin bieber, but just get a fresh new look. Same thing with your wardrobe. Get a few clothes that make you feel good, and make you look good. Overall, just clean yourself up and have some confidence.
